Chapter 46 – Replica

Chapter 46: Fairy Tale Town (End)

When Xu Huaiming had just returned, he put up blinds on the bedroom window. When the sun rose, its rays filtered through the gaps, casting dappled shadows. The bedroom was sunny, and the soft light lazily kissed their faces.

Tan Xilu had been ill for three to five days, confined to his bed. His fever persisted, and he struggled to keep down the soup his mother prepared. On the morning of the seventh day of the new year, Tan Xilu finally had a brief moment of clarity.

The sunlight was blinding. Tan Xilu blinked his eyes and took a while to turn his gaze towards his mother, who was stirring the millet soup by the bedside.

He cleared his throat and called out, “Mom.”

Hearing Tan Xilu’s voice, his mother’s hand holding the ladle trembled, causing hot soup to splash on her hand, stinging, but she endured the pain and didn’t say a word. She placed the bowl on the bedside table and used her other hand to gently rub the burnt area while looking at Tan Xilu, asking, “You, my child, have finally awakened.”

Tan Xilu’s eyelids still felt heavy, and he blinked, asking, “How many days have I been sleeping?”

“Today is already the seventh day,” Tan’s mother replied. “If your fever had continued, you might have ended up in heaven when you woke up.”

“It’s not that dramatic,” Tan Xilu said, raising the corner of his mouth and smiling. After a moment, he added, “Mom, I’m a bit hungry.”

“The doctor said to eat something light, so I made you rice soup. I was afraid rice porridge would be too thick for your digestion. Come on, sit up, and I’ll bring it to you,” Tan’s mother replied.

“Okay.” Tan Xilu had been lying in bed for nearly a week, and he felt like his muscles were withering away. He made a considerable effort to prop himself up against the headboard.

The rice soup was lukewarm and just right. Tan Xilu took small sips, but after several days with nothing in his stomach, his body had an involuntary rejection response. Tan’s mother placed a trash bin by the bed, and he ended up vomiting half of the bowl of rice soup.

Seeing Tan Xilu like this, his mother also felt distressed. She sighed and wiped the corners of his mouth with a tissue, asking, “Xiaolu, it’s been so many days, hasn’t your boyfriend come to see you?”

Upon hearing this, Tan Xilu’s hand hesitated for a moment. He then said, “Maybe he’s busy?”

In reality, they had already broken up, and he was sure that he wouldn’t be visited, especially since he hadn’t even received a New Year’s greeting from him. He also had no idea how things were going for Xu Huaiming at the research institute.

“Is that so?” Tan’s mother seemed somewhat hesitant. “It’s the big New Year holiday, how busy could he be at home? Didn’t you say he opened a dessert shop? Which one is it?”

“It’s the one next to the snack street near the Normal University gate. I used to eat there a lot,” Tan Xilu said, his gaze lowered. He wasn’t sure if Xu Huaiming’s dessert shop was still open.

Tan’s mother was taken aback and looked at Tan Xilu with a puzzled expression. She then opened her mouth after a moment of silence. “That shop, huh?”

Tan Xilu felt that his mother’s expression was a bit strange, but he couldn’t figure out what was going on, so he asked, “What’s wrong with that shop? Is there a problem?”

“No,” Tan’s mother shook her head and forced a smile. “Nothing.”

Tan Xilu said, “Oh,” and finished the rest of the rice soup before handing the bowl to his mother.

His mother took it and said, “When you had a fever, and you refused to go to the hospital, your father hired a private doctor. She comes every day to administer your IV drip, and she’s coming to give you today’s drip in a while. For now, watch some TV and don’t go back to sleep.”

“Okay,” Tan Xilu felt a bit puzzled. Would they administer an IV while he was awake? However, he didn’t dwell on it and said, “I understand.”

His mother nodded and took the bowl to the kitchen.

Standing by the kitchen sink, Tan’s mother suddenly felt her ankle being tugged from behind. She looked down and saw that it was the cat, Beibei. Beibei had been sunbathing on the balcony but came in when she saw Tan’s mother’s distress. Wagging her tail, Beibei entered the kitchen.

Tan’s mother felt something pulling at her pants leg and, upon closer inspection, found that Beibei was biting her. She squatted down, tears rolling down her face, and petted the cat, saying, “Little one, Auntie is a bit scared.”

Tan Xilu had told her that Xu Huaiming’s dessert shop was located next to the university’s food street. However, Tan’s mother had just bought ingredients from that area a few days ago, and that dessert shop had closed down many years ago, with no one taking it over. How could Tan Xilu have been eating desserts there?

Tan’s mother’s heart raced.

Beibei licked Tan’s mother’s palm and meowed, as if trying to comfort her.

Tan’s mother picked up the cat and cried for a while with her head down.

About ten minutes later, Tan’s father returned, accompanied by a woman who appeared to be in her thirties. She was a psychologist whom Tan’s father had invited through a colleague. She was known to be authoritative in the field, and they had brought her in to confirm whether Tan Xilu had indeed fabricated the existence of someone who didn’t exist.

From the moment the woman sat down diagonally across from him, Tan Xilu felt that something was amiss. Wasn’t she here to administer an IV? Why didn’t she have an IV with her? Instead, she looked at him as if scrutinizing him, which made Tan Xilu uncomfortable. He looked at his mother with a puzzled expression, and she explained, “Xiaolu, the doctor is just conducting an initial patient history survey for the new year. Answer her questions honestly, and don’t feel burdened.”

Frowning, Tan Xilu didn’t really want to participate in this survey, but he couldn’t refuse. He could only nod.

The woman looked at Tan Xilu and asked, “Can you tell me the story of you and your lover? Even just a little.”

Tan Xilu was puzzled. “Do we need to discuss this?”

The woman smirked, her lips curling up. “I’m curious.”

Tan Xilu looked at her for a moment before reluctantly starting, “We’ve already broken up.”

“What happened after the breakup? Did he look for you?” the woman asked. “Why did you two separate?”

“He looked for me,” Tan Xilu answered one question at a time. “It was… his issue.”

“What issue?”

The woman’s tone grew more pressing.

Tan Xilu looked at her, hesitated for a moment, and then said, “I don’t want to answer that.”

“Alright,” the woman spread her hands and said, “You don’t have to answer. Can I ask, after the breakup, did he contact you on your phone?”

Tan Xilu nodded and said, “Yes, he did. He sent me a Happy New Year message on New Year’s Eve.”

“Is it because of the breakup that you didn’t reply?” the woman inquired.

“Not really. That day, one of my students had a car accident, and I was too occupied to respond. I forgot about it later.”

“If the school hadn’t had an incident, would you have replied?”

“No.”

“Why not?”

“We’ve already broken up, so there’s no need to stay in touch.”

The woman nodded and continued, “Can I use your phone for a moment? I won’t touch anything else.”

Tan Xilu hesitated for a moment, then nodded and took his phone from the bedside table. He unlocked it and opened the WeChat chat with Xu Huaiming. Indeed, there was a New Year’s greeting from Xu Huaiming around midnight on New Year’s Eve.

“Is it because of the breakup that you didn’t reply to him?” the woman asked again.

“Not really. I was busy that day because of the car accident. Besides, I forgot about it later.”

“Alright,” the woman said, “You don’t have to answer that. May I use your phone for a moment? I won’t touch anything else.”

Tan Xilu replied, “Sure.”

The woman smiled, and despite her exquisite makeup and fiery red lips, she didn’t make him feel distant. She looked down at Tan Xilu’s phone, and her elegant fingers gently swiped across the screen.

For a moment, Tan Xilu felt that the woman’s eyes resembled Xu Huaiming’s, but Xu Huaiming had a much gentler look, lacking this sharpness.

After a while, the woman returned the phone to him. Her expression was no longer lazy but rather serious. She then asked, “Do you have two phones?”

Tan Xilu questioned, “Why do you ask that?”

Upon hearing the woman’s question about having two phones, Tan Xilu’s face visibly changed, then he averted his gaze and said, “I don’t have two phones.”

“Is that so?” The woman pressed a button on the phone and then stood up. She glanced at Tan Xilu’s bedside table, then turned to open and close the wardrobe. Finally, she crouched down and found a small box in the corner of the wardrobe.

She took the box out, and there was a vibrating sound coming from it.

The woman placed the box on the bedside table, opened it, and took out another phone. She said to Tan Xilu, “Everyone has their own texting habits when they communicate with others. For example, some people add an emoji after every sentence, while others like to use punctuation marks. Based on your messaging habits with your lover, it appears that it was the same person sending the messages.”

“What do you mean by this?” Tan Xilu looked at her in bewilderment. “Are you suggesting that I’m ill?”

At this point, he should have realized that this woman was not a doctor coming to administer an IV, and he understood the implication behind her words. He looked at his parents with a resentful expression and said, “So, you think I’m sick, and that’s why you brought in this doctor?”

Tan’s mother looked at Tan Xilu with worry and said, “No, Mom just cares about you.”

Tan Xilu bit his lip, turned his head toward the window, and after about a minute, he picked up his own phone and called Li Zhao. Only Li Zhao could confirm the existence of Xu Huaiming.

Li Zhao answered almost immediately, “Tan Xilu? Why are you suddenly calling me? Missed me?”

“Li Zhao, please quickly tell my parents who Xu Huaiming is, okay? They don’t believe me,” Tan Xilu’s tone was anxious, as if he was on the verge of tears.

“Xu Huaiming?” Li Zhao sounded like he didn’t remember this person. “Who is that? I don’t know him.”

“How is that possible? It’s the AI you introduced me to at the research institute! You told me he was an AI! And there was Professor Bowen…”

T/N: And that’s the end of it! Poor Tan Xilu… was his lover ever real or was it all a figment of his imagination, we’ll never know…

Wishing you all a good October! There is plenty more where that came from, so stay tuned! And stay healthy! Straighten your posture, so some stretches and drink some water before continuing hehe~

Chapter 59 – You and Lu Shifeng can get along well

Chapter 59 – You and Lu Shifeng can get along well

Jian Luo was still feeling things when a man’s voice entered his ears: “Who is so handsome?”

While peeking at the photo, Jian Luo choked and felt inexplicably flustered. He quickly hid the photo away and panicked: “No, no one, I’m just taking a look, just taking a look.”

Lu Shifeng’s blood-red eyes were terrifying under the light, making people panic, even if he was not obviously doing anything.

“Really?” Lu Shifeng walked to the side and sat down: “I thought you saw someone else and expressed your own emotion?”

Small animals all have sixth sense when they are in danger. It was a kind of innate sensitivity to the crisis before it arrives.

Therefore, the hypersensitive Jian Luo has one of the best sensors.

Jian Luo swiftly patted him: “Other people may feel that but in my heart you are the most handsome, no one is cooler than you!”

Lu Shifeng raised his eyebrows: “Really?”

“That’s right!” Jian Luo said casually, “Where can there be someone cooler than you, the marshal!”

Lu Shifeng wiped the sweat off Jian Luo’s head and said softly, “Won’t you look at your own face?”

“…”

Perhaps he should not have been so straightforward.

Although it was true.

Jian Luo coughed lightly: “I will occasionally look at other things.”

Lu Shifeng was a little bit interested: “For example?”

“For example…” Jian Luo racked his brains for a while, and said, “Being capable is more important.”

Lu Shifeng added: “Is it important to be capable?”

Jian Luo lowered her head.

The marshal sat up straight for a while and gave Jian Luo a meaningful look before lightly opening his thin lips: “What kind of capability do you specifically refer to?”

Jian Luo has said enough.

Usually, they chatted for a while before going to bed. But it was now time to go to bed. Ever since he slept with Lu Shifeng, the quality of his sleep has only been good after he woke up.

But today, he was thirsty and had a dry throat.

He was wrapped tightly in the blankets, but it was unbearable, so after a while on the bed, he turned on a small light in the room. Jian Luo carefully turned his face to look at Lu Shifeng, and found that the marshal’s eyes were tightly closed, so he must still be sleeping.

Quietly and slowly, Jian Luo carefully got out of bed, only to find that the water glass was nowhere to be found.

Lu Shifeng’s voice sounded: “What are you looking for?”

Jian Luo froze. He turned around, and answered obediently, “I’m thirsty.”

He didn’t expect Lu Shifeng to wake up, but who knew that the marshal would get up. He was wearing pajamas. Because of his sleeping position, his waist and abdominal muscles were exposed. A glass of water appeared in front of him.

Lu Shifeng: “Do you think your thirst will be cured after looking at mel?”

“No.” Jian Luo held the water glass with a guilty conscience as he looked away: “I was look at how these Long Batian will turn out. Maybe they will all look like you.”

Jian Luo had a one-of-a-kind skill at spouting nonsense.

Lu Shifeng sat down beside him: “How do you know they would all be male dragons?”

“Female dragons are fine too.” Jian Luo became curious: “We are both male, so who will the girls look like?”

Lu Shifeng gave him a meaningful look: “Maybe they will look like their mother.”

Jian Luo finished drinking a glass of water and put it on the table: “That’s good if girls don’t follow your genes.”

Lu Shifeng: “You seem to have confidence in your appearance.”

“It’s alright.” Jian Luo got back into the quilt: “It doesn’t matter if she is not pretty. She is your daughter, so no one will dislike her.”

They are the planet’s hope after all.

‘Maybe they won’t have to rely on their looks at all.

Lu Shifeng turned his face away to look at him: “Are you not confident in your appearance?”

Jian Luo exposed his head: “How can I be confident? Compared to all of you who are handsome and beautiful, I don’t look good enough. At most, I’m decent?”

Lu Shifeng retracted his gaze and said in a low voice, “You also have to be more confident.”

“Why?” Jian Luo was curious.

Lu Shifeng lifted the quilt and lay down beside him: “No one would dare dislike you.”

For a moment, looking at those red eyes, Jian Luo instantly seemed to understand something. He turned his face away and got into the quilt, daring not to see too clearly.

Anyone can be happy, but he can’t.

Everything that he’s enjoying now, but it’s all because he has cubs in his belly. When the child comes out, he will be left at the roadside.

If he expects too much, he will definitely get hurt. Jian Luo understands this very well, so he can’t have too many expectations that he shouldn’t have.

The next day.

Jian Luo was invited to Phoenix TV station for filming reasons.

It just so happens that he needed to think about how to fertilize the soil for planting watermelons at the same time. This was much more difficult than planting peppers, and he hopes that it will be good this time too.

Jiang Jiang sent him a message: “Luoluo, let me know when you arrive, and I’ll pick you up.”

Jian Luo looked at the display on the building: “Well, I’m here.”

This was a relatively prosperous area and it is also the first time Jian Luo has come here. Dark Star is one of the most technologically advanced places in the universe, especially in the city center.

As soon as he got to the entrance, he saw Jiang Jiang.

Jiang Jiang took Jian Luo: “Luoluo, let’s go inside. Brother Cheng is already here, are you nervous to see him for the first time?”

Jian Luo cooperated: “Nervous.”

“Yeah, right?” Jiang Jiang sighed: “You don’t know this but I spent a lot of money. It’s a lot of money!”

Jian Luo comforted him: “Don’t worry, if a website like Interstellar Live can be popular. Jinjiang has no reason not to be popular. Of course, it’s important that you hire a few more programmers, otherwise it’s not a problem that it always lags.”

“…”

Fine.

The two walked up and the elevator finally stopped at the top floor. The on-site filming team was already there, and Jian Luo was not too uncomfortable when she was alone among the crowd of Dark Stars.

Jiang Jiang: “A little further inside is a dressing room. You and Brother Cheng share the same dressing room. You will see him when you go in.”

Jian Luo had to complain: “Can’t you prepare another decent room instead of letting the star share a dressing room with me?”

Jiang Jiang disagreed: “If we don’t do this, how can we ogle on people in a fair and honest way?”

“…”

I see.

Jian Luo was not affected by Jiang Jiang after all. He was calm until he entered the dressing room, but as he was going in, the makeup chair was turned around. When he saw the man’s face, Jian Luo was stunned.

Guo Feicheng raised his eyebrows: “You don’t seem happy to see me?”

The person sitting on the chair was dressed in fancy clothes and looked noble and elegant. He looked fine in the photo, but after seeing him in person, the impact is even more obvious. Why did this person look so much like the marshal?

Jian Luo was stunned stupid and it took a long time for him to reply: “Hello, Cheng bro.”

Guo Feicheng nodded slightly, stood up and took the initiative to walk over. As he got closer, he felt similar, but Jian Luo unconsciously took a step back, feeling awkward.

“Mr. Jian Luo, I have been looking forward to it for a long time.” Guo Feicheng reached out his hand: “I have tried your cooking, and it is very delicious.”

Jian Luo said stiffly, “Thank you.”

He didn’t know why, although the person in front of him looks handsome, but he can’t be too obvious as it was in his nature as a timid, small animal.

Guo Feicheng withdrew his hand, stroked Jian Luo’s face naturally, and praised him: “Your appearance is also good, Mr. Jian Luo is not only strong, but also lovely.”

Jian Luo embarrassedly turned his face away: “Thank you for the compliment.”

This heavenly king made him too disillusioned.

He still liked Brother Lu’s voice more.

Faced with Jiang Jiang’s envy: “Luoluo, don’t you take the opportunity to ask for an autograph?”

Jian Luo quickly found a seat and sat down: “Some other day, perhaps.”

Jiang Jiang couldn’t believe that someone would not ask for an autograph with the celebrity right in front of their eyes. What the heck was going on? Isn’t this what idols use to placate their fans. When it came to Jian Luo, was he already considered an idol, that’s why?

It was odd.

At least Guo Feicheng was not angry, he only nodded in cooperation.

Jiang Jiang: “……”

After a long time, the makeup was finished. In fact, Jian Luo only had to recite some lines and there was no need to show his face, so there was basically no makeup on the face.

The director came over to explain his lines:

“Well, Mr. Jian Luo, the kitchen is set up here and we’re going to shoot a sitcom. You can pick up a piece and stuff it into his mouth when you’re done cooking and then ask him if it’s delicious. Since you can’t take pictures of your face, you have to use your voice to express yourself, so you should have a sentimental tone with enough warmth and sweetness, understand?”

Jian Luo choked: “Will the advertising effect be better this way?”

The director said righteously: “Of course, we are professionals. I hope you can trust us.”

Guo Feicheng came over after putting on makeup. He changed into looser, more homely, casual clothes, which must have been designed by the crew, which made him seem more approachable, but because of the makeup on his face, In terms of appearance, he was not so similar to the marshal anymore. This made Jian Luo feel less anxious.

“Director, this is Luoluo’s first commercial shoot, so I’m afraid I need to make up for it more.”

Guo Feicheng came over and stopped in front of Jian Luo: “I’ll take him with me to help him get more familiar with how things work.”

The director thought about it: “Okay, then you two get familiar with each other first, and make sure he is familiar with the general feel of things.”

Guo Feicheng nodded.

So the director left to set up the scene, Guo Feicheng set his eyes on Jian Luo, paused, and then said, “You seem to be afraid of me?”

“Huh?” Jian Luo was very cautious: “You misunderstood.”

Guo Feicheng approached him: “Strange, why are you afraid of me? You can get along with Lu Shifeng, but are you still afraid of me?”

??!!

Jian Luo stammered: “How do you know?”

“Do you still need to know?” Guo Feicheng raised his eyebrows: “You are covered with that dragon’s scent, and it’s so strong. Apart from him, I can’t think of anyone else.”

Chapter 74 – Who Says Omegas Can’t be as Explosive as Alphas

Chapter 74

Because they had been drinking wine quietly in the hall, Wen Xingchen’s breath was now filled with a faint smell of alcohol. When such words entered his ears, they carried a hint of affection.

Lu Jingning could feel the Alpha’s scent enveloping him instantly, making the pheromones in his body eager to cater to him.

His voice couldn’t help tense up a bit and he said in a hoarse voice: “It’s not the estrus again, is it? Don’t make trouble.”

“I didn’t make a fuss.” Wen Xingchen leaned over and kissed his glands lightly. His slightly drooping eyes were filled with a faint fire that moved upwards along his neck, and finally, their lips met.

Under his actions, Lu Jingning couldn’t help but let out a muffled snort. As the teasing began, his whole body began to be filled with excitement and gradually indulged in it.

It is undeniable that everything about this person makes him irresistible.

Hearing the sound of Xingchen’s deep breathing, Lu Jingning subconsciously stretched out his hand to wrap his arms around the man’s broad back and tightly grabbed the man’s shirt with his fingers.

Wen Xingchen, who was wearing aristocratic clothes, exuded a different feeling than usual. He was very tempting.

Lu Jingning’s pheromones were completely drawn out, he raised his jaw, and responded to this deep kiss.

This kiss eventually deepened and when they finally separated, both of them could feel each other’s warm body temperature and erratically beating heart.

He didn’t really have any ideas before, but at this time, Lu Jingning also felt that his interest had been completely aroused. With some mist in his eyes, he half-smile: “Then, what kind of game does the master want to play?”

While he was talking, his slender fingertips did not forget to travel gently behind Wen Xingchen’s back, like a slithering snake, quietly probing or teasing at danger.

Wen Xingchen felt an itch envelope at his heart bit by bit as he was poked on his back. He stretched out his hand without warning, picked up Lu Jingning and threw him on the bed.

Lu Jingning saw that Wen Xingchen was about to unbutton his shirt. After squatting for a while, he suddenly approached him with a smile on his face: “Master, I’ll help you take it off.”

When Wen Xingchen was called out like this, he couldn’t help but stop the movements of his hands. In the blink of an eye, Lu Jingning had already moved in front of him, his eyelids lowered slightly as his fingers neatly unbuttoned his collar one by one.

The clothes were scattered and Lu Jingning’s eyes fell on his chest and he couldn’t help moaning.

Wen Xingchen always looked down at him quietly.

Because he was still wearing the daytime clothes, there was a sort of tempting feeling under the dim light at this time. From this angle, no matter from what angle he looked at, his facial features seemed fatally alluring, which made him lose control.

Seeing that Lu Jingning let go of his collar, Wen Xingchen suddenly reached out and grabbed his wrist. He then leaned forward for a while and pressed him firmly on the bed.

The ribbons that were dotted around the ends of his hair were completely pulled off and with this movement, the bells on his ankles also made a crisp sound. The atmosphere at this time was like a cue that completely smashed the last sliver of reason remaining. Even that would be an understatement.

Wen Xingchen pinched Lu Jingning’s waist vigorously and when he heard the person under him moan, the corners of his mouth curled up in satisfaction: “What shall we do next, darling?”

Lu Jingning could feel the other person’s breath almost brushing against his cheeks. He didn’t know whether he was really aroused or just subconsciously attracted to him. He suddenly stretched out his hand and tore off the clothes covering Wen Xingchen’s body. Looking at the curved and sexy silhouette of the Alpha’s upper body, he licked the corner of his lips: “We should do as you like, master.”

The expression in Wen Xingchen’s eyes flickered: “Kiss me.”

Lu Jingning smiled sweetly, gently hooked the other’s neck with both hands and pulled down hard, pulling the whole person down, and kissing him heavily.

Such a kiss lasted extremely long, long enough for the two of them to immerse themselves in it unknowingly and completely stir up the flames in their bodies, making it difficult to control themselves, and gradually starting a prairie fire.

The heat had already enveloped his entire body. Lu Jingning moved his legs and wanted to sit up and look directly at Wen Xingchen, but the other party suddenly pressed him down and onto the bed.

The eyes of the two met at a very close proximity and Lu Jingning’s breathing became heavier: “Wen ge, do you want to do it?”

Wen Xingchen’s self-restraint completely collapsed under his voice and his slender fingers stroked the hair beside Lu Jingning’s ear. His voice was hoarse and deep: “Call me Master.”

Lu Jingning’s interest was also quite high, he smiled lightly and called out tiredly: “Yes, master.”

After taking off their clothes, the naked upper bodies of the two were stuck together tightly. The strange tingling feeling made the surrounding lingering pheromones more intertwined.

Wen Xingchen’s fingers lightly slid across Lu Jingning’s waist, hesitated for a moment, and then slowly landed on Lu Jingning’s legs.

Lu Jingning couldn’t help but moan. His legs tensed subconsciously, because of the slight shaking, the bell on his ankle made a faint sound.

In such an atmosphere, it was like an invisible hand stirring up the already extremely strong desire.

Lu Jingning could feel the Alpha’s scent completely enveloping him. His hands couldn’t help but tightly grip the bed sheet, feeling Wen Xingchen’s fingers protruding into his deepest parts. The emptiness left him unsatisfied and he couldn’t help but straighten up his lower body.

Wen Xingchen’s fingers were slender and flexible. Due to years of hard training, there were thick calluses on them and that kind of roughness brought a different kind of fun.

“Hmm… ah…”

Lu Jingning involuntarily let out a low, sticky gasp, and subconsciously separated his legs a little.

But at this moment, Wen Xingchen suddenly withdrew his hand.

Just when Lu Jingning looked up with some dissatisfaction, Wen Xingchen suddenly separated his legs and then leaned over and kissed them lightly.

It was as if a kind of electric current burst out of his body, causing Lu Jingning to choke up instinctively.

The tip of his tongue licked his private part little by little, and all his senses seemed to gather in that embarrassing place.

It was the first time that Lu Jingning felt that they were making love so mysteriously.

The pleasure was magnified in an instant. He moaned lowly and his vision couldn’t help but feel a little blurred. The subconscious release of pheromones in his body made him feel completely addicted to the feeling as his chest kept rising and falling.

When Wen Xingchen looked up at him with an emotional expression and flushed cheeks, the lust in his heart was completely drawn out.

His gaze passed over Lu Jingning’s body bit by bit.

An Omega’s body is often much softer than Alpha’s, but because of the training since childhood, Lu Jingning’s body is still full of unique charm compared with a normal Omega’s.

His legs are very long, with beautiful muscular lines, and everything is just right.

Such a body is enough to drive any Alpha crazy.

The smell of mint and plum sauce lingered in the air.

It lasted so long that Lu Jingning didn’t know how long had passed. He could feel that his body had been teased to the extreme, his waist and abdomen were tense there, trembling uncontrollably, while subconsciously wanting to cater to the other person.

The feeling of emptiness in his body made him instinctively want to be completely filled.

He finally couldn’t help but raise his leg and weakly kick the man who was still teasing him repeatedly: “Stop playing, come in already…”

Wen Xingchen actually couldn’t wait any longer and responded dotingly. He lifted Lu Jingning’s legs, lowered his body slightly, and pushed his desire into his deepest parts.

“Aha……”

Instinctively, Lu Jingning put his arm around Wen Xingchen’s neck at this moment, and his body was completely stretched open, causing his whole body to burn again.

The lingering and long-lasting pleasure spread numbly throughout his body with each impact.

Lu Jingning could hear Wen Xingchen’s heavy breathing in his ears, which was extremely clear in the silent night.

Before they knew it, both of them were already drenched in thin sweat, and unconsciously changed positions without a sound. Lu Jingning was already sitting on Wen Xingchen’s lap like this.

Such a posture has an indescribably different sensation. His moving waist quickly allowed his body to find the most pleasurable position before rapidly accumulating that pleasure where the two of them are joined together, making them quickly become a mess.

Seeing that he was close, Wen Xingchen suddenly grabbed Lu Jingning’s waist, and the moment he lowered his hips, he pushed up and into him harshly.

Lu Jingning couldn’t help but choked up at the pleasure of penetrating his soul. A wave of extreme pleasure enveloped his lower half. Although he didn’t penetrate his uterus, it was enough for him to finish.

While exhaling hotly, Wen Xingchen gently played with Lu Jingning’s anklet with his hand and hugged the limp person in his arms even tighter.

Previously, the two became involved due to outside factors. This was probably the first time that they came together out of their own will, while being completely sober. The entire thing was inevitable and it took so long before they both became tangled like this.

Before that, Lu Jingning never thought that Wen Xingchen would have such an awful kink, and of course, he never thought that he would really cooperate like this.

When he thought about it, it is estimated that this kind of role-playing will still be brought up in the future in private after.

In the dead of night, the whole room was filled with the aroma of sandalwood and their pheromones under the dim light, full of desire.

Prompted by instincts, Wen Xingchen couldn’t help biting Lu Jingning’s glands in the end. This kind of behavior was completely uncontrollable. If it wasn’t for his remaining rationality that reminded him that he was still on a mission, he was afraid he would continue to push the boundaries.

But even so, the pheromone entered Lu Jingning’s body and seemed to consume a lot of his physical strength before he finally collapsed into Wen Xingchen’s arms and fell into a deep sleep .

Wen Xingchen quietly put his arms around Lu Jingning, and if conditions permit, he might have even wanted to light a cigarette.

After their impulsive actions, the room seemed very messy. He silently looked at the man in his arms. Because his left hand was under the pillow and couldn’t move, he could only stretch out his right hand to gently rub his hair and slightly drooping eyebrows.

He felt a bit of remorse.

An Alpha’s pheromone is indeed a good pacifier during Omega’s heat, but it will also reduce the Omega’s strength.

This makes his actions today very inappropriate during this five-star mission.

In the past, it was absolutely impossible for Wen Xingchen to allow himself to make such a low-level mistake.

However, once he faced Lu Jingning, he seemed to be unable to control the excessive possessiveness in his heart.

As long as he has a relationship with this person, he will always become impulsive and unable to control himself.

Was this what being perfectly suited for each other meant…

Wen Xingchen leaned over slightly and deeply kissed the ends of Lu Jingning’s hair. He murmured in a low voice: “It must be. But it’s up to you.”

At noon the next day, the others felt strange as not only Lu Jingning, but also Wen Xingchen, who had always been self-disciplined, still hadn’t appeared for a long time after the sun was up.

Wen Ye didn’t want to interfere too much at first, but in the end he was still worried and asked Cen Junfeng to go over and see what the situation was.

Cen Junfeng hesitated for a while at the door of the guest room before finally mustering up the courage to knock on the door.

Not long after, the door opened and Wen Xingchen stood at the entrance, looking at him with a faint expression and deliberately lowering his voice as if not to disturb someone, “He’s still asleep. We’ll come find you all later.”

Cen Junfeng’s gaze drifted past Wen Xingchen’s side and it fell upon a messy room with scattered clothes strewn all over the floor. A bracelet lay not far from the doorway, not to mention the scattered ribbons and accessories, as if it were a scene from a wild revelry.

He couldn’t naively believe that these two were really dutifully maintaining their facade for the public. The situation at hand made it evident that what happened last night was no mere act.

Indeed, young people were always brimming with passion.

Cen Junfeng fell silent for a moment, trying his best to control the expression on his face, “You two carry on, I’ll go back and speak with the young master first.”

After saying that, he turned stiffly and, in the next second, accelerated swiftly, escaping Wen Xingchen’s line of sight.

Wen Xingchen watched the fleeing figure quietly, then couldn’t help but chuckle softly, turning around to close the door again.

On that day, news spread widely about the Second Young Master Wen spending the entire day in the guest room with his male companion, even having their lunch delivered by the service staff.

The team leader listened to the discussions of others and couldn’t help feeling a bit emotional.

Such genuine affection!

Unfortunately, although the reputation of the Wen Family’s business consortium was well-established, the person they were waiting for had yet to appear.

In the evening, the cruise ship finally arrived at Watcher’s Island. After docking at the harbor, passengers began disembarking.

Bing Yunlin arranged for Cen Junfeng to closely monitor the cargo with Yu Qingcang and Qin Yuankai, but they still couldn’t find a trace of the target they were waiting for.

On the other hand, a neighboring business consortium seemed particularly interested in them. They held the Second Young Master Wen and his brother, Wen Ye, in conversation for quite some time, exchanging contact information before bidding farewell reluctantly.

When Wen Xingchen returned, he didn’t see Lu Jingning around, so he asked Bing Yunlin, who was waiting there. Bing Yunlin replied, “He just noticed that he was missing a bracelet, probably something from the garrison. He said he went back to the room to get it.”

Just as Yu Qingcang finished unloading the cargo and returned, he found Wen Xingchen’s expression strange and said, “Lu Jingning went back to the cruise ship? That’s not possible. I just went around to all the rooms, didn’t see anyone.”

Saying that, he saw Wen Xingchen’s face change, hesitated, and awkwardly smiled, “It’s probably that I missed him by chance. I mean it is Lu Jingning anyway. Even if he ran into someone, the other person should be the one having bad luck… right?”

Under normal circumstances, Wen Xingchen would undoubtedly agree with such a statement, but last night…

His heart sank, without a second thought, he turned and rushed back to the cruise ship.

The others exchanged glances, and Cen Junfeng and Yu Qingcang followed suit in pursuit.

They rushed directly to the guest room and found only an empty room. The bracelet that Lu Jingning was looking for lay not far from the bed.

Though faint, there was indeed a strange scent lingering in the air, now almost dissipated.

In that moment, Wen Xingchen felt as if he fell into an endless abyss.

Lu Jingning was gone.

Author’s note: Well, then find him. It’s not that big of a deal.
