Extra 5 – The Days of Being a Cat 5

The light in the bedroom was dim. He Qing was leaning against the bed reading a book, a blanket around his waist, one leg curled up in a very lazy manner, and I was lying in the crook of his arm.

Don’t ask me why I didn’t tell He Qing, his Guan Lie turned into a cat.

I wanted to see what kind of perks the cat had while I was away.

He Qing was so focused on reading that he didn’t even notice that his bathrobe was open.

I enjoyed the scenery for a long time and finally cured myself of the nosebleed.

Suddenly a bold idea came to me.

So I stood up and, using the fact that I was a cat, I got under the blanket.

Then I was quickly picked up by He Qing.

He Qing’s face was a little red, and he flicked my head, “You little devil, where are you going?”

       “Meow—”

Wuwuwu, I just saw that you are so sexy, I couldn’t help it.

       Wuwuwu, I’m just a crotch-staring cat.

I tried my best to curl into a ball, trying to be cute and get He Qing to forgive me.

As expected, He Qing couldn’t bear it anymore. I knew He Qing was the best.

Wuwuwu, my wife is too gentle.

       This cat got it easy.

He Qing read the book for a while, then pulled the quilt and got ready to sleep.

Before going to sleep, he lifted the quilt by a corner, “Come in.”

       What the fvck!?

This cat is actually in the same bed as my He Qing?!

When I got back, it had to be thrown away.

       It must be thrown away.

If I couldn’t throw it away, I had to give it away.

       I sneaked in.

… This cat must be given away!

       This, this cat…

       This cat had night vision…

       Damn it!?

Filled with jealousy, I plopped down angrily by He Qing’s waist.

He Qing’s hand reached under the covers and rubbed my head, “Go to sleep, no more fooling around.”

Wuwuwu, wife, don’t you think my head is a little green1implying if He Qing see Guan Lie is feeling cheated.?

Wuwuwu, it’s green like this cat’s eyes.

Wuwuwu, the cat’s eyes are green.

The bed was filled with the smell of He Qing as if going back to the days when I slept with He Qing in my arms.

       I closed my eyes.

Extra 4 – The Days of Being a Cat 4

He Qing hurried to the kitchen to bring the medicine again and fed me carefully.

I was truly jealous of the cat.

When the nosebleed stopped, he continued to wash me.

There was so much water splashed inside his robe……

I watched as the water dripped and slid across his chest.

When it was finally done, He Qing took a towel and wrapped it around me and wiped it off.

He scratched my nose and said, “Go out and play by yourself first, I need a bath, I just got water all over your bath, but you were good today and didn’t run around.”

       “Meow!”

He wiped the water off my body, put me on the ground, and opened the door a crack, “Go, go out and play by yourself.”

I got out through the crack of the door, and when I turned around, He Qing’s bathrobe had already fallen on the floor.

I dug back in and crouched back to watch He Qing’s back.

This sexy back, lean waistline, inner buttocks, and long and straight big white legs.

Well, who the hell wants to get out?

A little more, a little more stimulation, and I could take it.

I was holding my breath as I watched He Qing lift her legs and stepped into the bathtub.

The foam covered He Qing’s body, concealing it.

       Oh My God……

I couldn’t help sweeping my tail back and forth on the floor as I watched He Qing stood up after taking bath.

He stepped out of the bathtub and saw me, smiled, then picked up a towel and threw it on my head, “Naughty little one, didn’t you used to not want to stay in the bathroom for one more second?”

This cat was really stupid. If it were me, I could live in the bathroom and not come out.

It was dark before my eyes, but my ears could hear every detail of He Qing wearing a bathrobe.

       Are cat ears that good?

By the time I was carried out of the bathroom by He Qing, I was in a daze.

       This was so damn upsetting.

I was living in an incubator at the Institute and this cat was at home whoring on my wife so obviously.

       fvck me!

       This is unforgivable!

He Qing blew my fur dry, making my body warm. After seeing my appearance, he rubbed my fur.

       Yes, that’s right…

       Rub it hard…

       fvck me!

       I am not a cat!

I was practically assimilated into this cat body and I flickered my tail angrily.

But I still couldn’t let go of He Qing’s hand.

The author has something to say:

Guan Lie: This cat knows too much.

Chapter 59

Before Chen Yuncheng went out, he took out the new clothes that Ning Junyan had given him and put them on. After changing his clothes, he stood in front of the mirror for a long time and looked at them carefully. When he felt that nothing looked out of place on his body, he went out with Ning Junyan.

Originally, Chen Yuncheng wanted to go to a nearby shopping mall to buy a New Year’s gift for Ning Junyan’s parents, but Ning Junyan said it was not necessary, and that he had gifts for others in his car, so Chen Yuncheng could just carry them over when the time comes.

“Isn’t it inappropriate?” Chen Yuncheng said.

“It’s nothing inappropriate,” Ning Junyan didn’t even discuss it with him, nor did he plan to drive to the mall.

Chen Yuncheng had no choice but to accept it.

They were not out early enough, and it was almost eleven noon when they drove to Ning Junyan’s parents’ house.

Ning Junyan’s parents lived on the outskirts of the city, which was also a villa area. As it was still relatively new, it had a wide view of the surrounding area and a good environment.

Chen Yuncheng was a little apprehensive all the way to the villa. After he got off the car, he saw a lawn in front of the villa. Perhaps it was because of the good weather today and the abundant sunlight, a small square table was placed on the lawn, and a few people sat beside the small square table, drinking tea and chatting.

One of them was Ning Junyan’s mother, Shu Rong, and it seemed that their guests had already arrived.

Chen Yuncheng was holding the New Year’s gift box given to him by Ning Junyan, he didn’t know how much the box was worth, but it was beautifully packaged.

Ning Junyan walked beside him and walked with him along the stone path on the lawn.

One of the guests saw Ning Junyan and the others first and said to Shu Rong, “Your son is back.”

Shu Rong turned her head with a smile on her face, and the moment her eyes touched Chen Yuncheng, her smile very visibly stiffened for a moment, then she stood up and walked towards Ning Junyan and the others with a natural expression.

       “You’ve returned?” Shu Rong asked.

       Ning Junyan nodded.

Chen Yuncheng smiled and said to Shu Rong, “Auntie, Happy New Year.” He handed the gift box in his hand to Shu Rong.

Shu Rong looked down at the gift box but didn’t immediately reach out.

Ning Junyan first took the gift box from Chen Yuncheng’s hand, and handed it to Shu Rong, “Yuncheng is here to give you New Year’s greetings.”

Only then did Shu Rong raise her hand and said with a smile, “You’re too kind.”

She didn’t say much and led Ning Junyan and the others to greet several guests.

“Uncle Zhang and Aunt Xia, you both know each other,” Shu Rong introduced to Ning Junyan.

Ning Junyan, Zhang Chong and Xia Wenjuan knew each other. They had been doing business with Shu Rong, and Shu Rong’s plastic surgery hospital was jointly opened with them.

Then Shu Rong continued to introduce, “This is Boss Yu. This should be the first time you meet him, and that’s Boss Yu’s daughter, called Yu Mingli, she just came back from studying abroad.”

       Ning Junyan just nodded.

Shu Rong took Ning Junyan’s arm and said, “This is my son Junyan, who works in the hospital.” After she finished speaking, she saw other people’s eyes falling on Chen Yuncheng, and said, “This is my son Junyan’s friend.”

Chen Yuncheng didn’t say anything. Ever since he saw the guests from Ning’s family, his eyes had been on Boss Yu.

Boss Yu sat on a white chair, looked up and saw Chen Yuncheng. He then smiled at him politely.

Chen Yuncheng could not smile, he had met this Boss Yu, and although not for many times, he left a deep impression. This person was the same Boss Yu who said he would take Guan Anlin to do business together, but later caused Guan Anlin to do two years in jail. Chen Yuncheng remembered his name was Yu Jie.

Zhang Chong got up and greeted Ning Junyan as they sat down.

Ning Junyan noticed that something was not quite right with Chen Yuncheng. He lightly touched the back of Chen Yuncheng’s hand, and asked in a low voice, “What’s wrong?”

Chen Yuncheng shook his head, turned his eyes away from Yu Jie, and said, “It’s nothing.”

After he sat down, Ning Junyan asked Shu Rong, “Where’s dad?”

Shu Rong said, “He’s still dawdling upstairs, the guests are all here and he hasn’t come down yet, why don’t you go and call him?”

Ning Junyan refused, “He will come later by himself.”

Xia Wenjuan looked at Chen Yuncheng, and asked Ning Junyan, “Junyan, what’s your friend’s name, you haven’t introduced him to us yet.”

Ning Jun replied, “His name is Chen Yuncheng.”

Chen Yuncheng greeted Xia Wenjuan politely.

Seeing that Xia Wenjuan was still looking at Chen Yuncheng, Shu Rong asked Yu Mingli who was sitting opposite her abruptly, “It’s no fun for you youngsters to listen to us chat, is it? Would xiao Li like to go for a stroll?”

Yu Mingli glanced at Ning Junyan, then at Shu Rong, and said, “Okay.”

Shu Rong said to Ning Junyan, “You can go take a walk with Xiaoli.”

Ning Junyan didn’t agree, he just asked Chen Yuncheng, “Want to go for a walk?”

Chen Yuncheng shook his head, and he couldn’t help looking at Yu Jie again. However, Yu Jie didn’t look at him and only looked at Ning Junyan with a smile on his face.

Ning Junyan said to Shu Rong, “I’m not going, I’ll take Yuncheng to see Dad.” After he said that, he stood up, held Chen Yuncheng’s hand at the same time, pulled him up, and led him towards the villa’s front door.

The rest of the group seemed a little embarrassed, and after a brief moment of silence, Shu Rong smiled and said to Yu Mingli, “Then let’s have dinner before we go take a stroll, Junyan will take his friend to see the old Ning first.”

Yu Mingli nodded her head and forced a smile.

When they entered the house, the busy voice of the nanny came from the direction of the kitchen. There were several New Year gifts, fruit plates and flower arrangements on the coffee table in the living room.

Ning Junyan did not take Chen Yuncheng upstairs immediately, but stopped at the stairs and asked him, “What’s wrong?”

Chen Yuncheng seemed to have been lost in thought, but when he heard Ning Junyan’s question, he looked up at him, “What? We’re not going to give New Year’s greetings to your father?”

Ning Junyan frowned, “Do you know that Boss Yu?”

Chen Yuncheng didn’t know if he should say it at this time, he hesitated for a moment and said, “I don’t know him, let’s go upstairs first.”

Ning Junyan raised his hand to pinch Chen Yuncheng’s jaw, and looked at him seriously, “What do you keep looking at him for if you don’t know him?”

Chen Yuncheng pushed Ning Junyan’s hand away, “What are you thinking?”

Ning Junyan said, “Or else we will go back.”

Chen Yuncheng was stunned for a moment, “Why? You came here especially to spend the New Year with your parents today.”

Ning Junyan said, “You don’t look happy.”

Chen Yuncheng looked at him and smiled, “I’m not unhappy.”

Ning Junyan said coldly, “You keep looking at other people.”

“Looking at who?” Chen Yuncheng was baffled by what he said, and after a while, he realised, “You mean Boss Yu?”

Ning Junyan had a stoic expression on his face and did not speak.

Chen Yuncheng smiled and raised his hand to pinch his face, “Do you think I’m crazy?”

Ning Junyan stared at him for a moment, then took his hand again and continued walking upstairs.

They met Ning Zhanghong in the study room on the second floor. Ning Zhanghong was reading a book and obviously didn’t want to go down to chat with Shu Rong’s guests.

When Ning Zhanghong saw Chen Yuncheng, his usually calm face also showed some surprise, “Are you Chen Yuncheng?”

Chen Yuncheng said, “Uncle, happy new year.”

Ning Zhanghong nodded, “Happy New Year.” He stood up from the desk, stretched out his hand to flatten the book in front of him, went to the window and looked downstairs. When he turned around, he asked Ning Junyan, ” Have you met your mother?”

Ning Junyan said, “I’ve met her.”

Ning Zhanghong’s tone was slightly nervous, “She didn’t say anything?”

Ning Junyan said, “There are still guests at home, and she is busy keeping Uncle Zhang and the others company.”

Ning Zhanghong nodded to show that he understood. With his hands behind his back, he stared at the people downstairs for a while, and said to Ning Junyan, “Then you can accompany your friend to have fun.”

Ning Junyan opened the door and wanted to take Chen Yuncheng out when Ning Zhanghong suddenly called out to him again, “You know your mother has a bad temper.”

“I know,” Ning Junyan said, and left the study with Chen Yuncheng one after the other.

Ning Zhanghong didn’t care who Ning Junyan associates with, he only cared that Shu Rong would lose her temper because of this, and make him no longer have a day of peace.

When he came out of the study, Chen Yuncheng said, “Uncle seems strange.”

Ning Junyan asked him, “In what way?”

Chen Yuncheng said, “I can’t tell, but he seems a bit nervous.”

Ning Junyan hummed and said, “He’s always like this, don’t worry about him.”

It was only at lunchtime that Ning Zhanghong came down from upstairs and sat down at the round table to accompany the guests.

Shu Rong opened a bottle of red wine, but Ning Zhanghong didn’t drink, so she drank with the guests by herself.

Chen Yuncheng felt that Yu Jie acted as if he didn’t know him anymore. He didn’t pay attention to him from the beginning to the end, and he didn’t deliberately avoid his gaze, as if he was facing a complete stranger.

As he listened to their conversation while eating, he learnt that Yu Jie met Shu Rong through Zhang Chong. He had a sum of money in hand and wanted to work with them to set up a branch of a plastic surgery hospital in the east of the city.

Shu Rong didn’t seem to know Yu Jie very well, but she was clearly more interested in his daughter and had been taking the initiative to chat with Yu Mingli.

When he first arrived at Ning’s house, Chen Yuncheng’s attention was all on Yu Jie, and now he suddenly realised that the main purpose of Shu Rong’s banquet today was to introduce Ning Junyan and Yu Mingli to each other.

When he realised this, Chen Yuncheng couldn’t help but look at Ning Junyan.

He didn’t know if Ning Junyan noticed it, but then he couldn’t tell anything from Ning Junyan’s face anyway. After he noticed Chen Yuncheng’s gaze, he gave Chen Yuncheng a chopstick of fish and said, “Concentrate on eating.”

Shu Rong tried her best to find something in common between Ning Junyan and Yu Mingli, asking them about their experiences studying abroad.

Yu Mingli said that she worked very hard and that there was a time when she had to prepare a report every week and couldn’t even sleep well at night.

Shu Rong looked at Ning Junyan.

Ning Junyan said with an expressionless face, “It’s nothing, I think everything is very simple and easy.”

Yu Jie laughed and said, “That’s because Junyan is smart, and xiao Li is not so smart, so she has to work harder.”

Shu Rong’s face darkened slightly, and she looked at Ning Junyan with disapproval.

Chen Yuncheng looked at Yu Mingli and saw that although Yu Mingli was smiling, she looked a little embarrassed.

Yu Jie seemed to be trying to help his daughter out as he asked Ning Jun Yan, “From what your mother said, you haven’t been in a relationship for so many years?”

Ning Junyan replied politely, “That’s right.”

Yu Jie asked him, “Is it because you haven’t met the right one or are you asking too much?” He asked with a smile, and his tone sounded very kind.

Ning Junyan put down his chopsticks and looked at Yu Jie.

Chen Yuncheng’s heart suddenly jumped heavily. He had a premonition that Ning Junyan might talk nonsense, he was very nervous and stretched out his hand to pull Ning Junyan’s arm from under the table.

Ning Junyan’s attention shifted to Chen Yuncheng. He saw that the fish that he has just given to him hadn’t been touched, so he asked, “The food is not delicious?”

Chen Yuncheng replied in a low voice, “No, it’s delicious.”

Ning Junyanlifted his hand and pressed it against the back of Chen Yuncheng’s neck, “Then eat well.” Then he turned to Yu Jie and asked, “When is Boss Yu referring to? Before or now?”

Yu Jie smiled and asked, “Is there any difference?”

Ning Junyan said, “Before I never come across anyone yet, but now I have someone I like.”

Extra 3 – The Days of Being a Cat 3

I lifted the cat’s paw and made a gesture of wiping, but this cat had too much fur on it.

The cat’s paws were covered in blood.

He Qing fished out some kind of medicine that I didn’t know what and gave it to me in a hurry.

As soon as I ate it, my mouth was full of mint.

       This was so…

It was a competitor to nutritional supplements.

       It was too bad.

He Qing knelt down and wiped the blood on my face with a tissue.

       How can I put this?

       fvck! He Qing, stop squatting!

I can see everything when you squat down!

He Qing! He Qing! Don’t squat down!

If you keep squatting down, my nosebleed won’t stop!

I’m going to bleed to death!

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy… I can’t stand it…

He Qing probably felt that it was inconvenient to squat down and wipe my nosebleed like this, so he picked me up.

My nosebleed finally stopped, and I don’t think it was because of the medicine at all.

He Qing dabbed some water and gently wiped my bloodied nose, “What do you think is wrong with you ……”

       “Meow!!! Meow meow meow!!!”

“Is there too much nutrition in this cat food?”

       “Meow meow meow!”

Nope! Not at all! It’s just you who are so sexy! He Qing!

Fortunately, I wasn’t the first cat to die of a nosebleed.

But I was too happy too soon.

He Qing wiped me for a long time, but found that my bloodstained fur wouldn’t come off, so he said helplessly, “I can’t wipe it off, I’ll just have to give you a bath, don’t run away this time you little naughty one.”

What!? He Qing gave such a good benefit like bathing, and this cat usually dared to run away!?

       Wait! A bath!?

He Qing is going to give me a bath!?

fvck!? I felt my cat’s head getting hot again.

He Qing carried me and walked to the bathroom, “I’ll wash you gently, no running away this time.”

       “Meow meow meow!”

He Qing rubbed my cat’s nose, “You have to take a bath even though you’re purring, otherwise there’s a lot of blood on your fur and you won’t be able to sleep in bed at night.”

       “……meow!?”

This cat actually slept with my He Qing!?

He Qing opened the bathroom door and put me in the bathtub, he squatted down at the edge of the tub and picked up the shower.

The warm water poured over my fur, and a lot of water splashed on He Qing’s body.

       Oh My God……

Wuwuwu, I don’t want to change back.

This angle, He Qing from this angle…

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy.

“Eh? Why is your nose bleeding again?”

Wuwuwu, bleed, bleed me to death.

Extra 2 – The Days of Being a Cat 2

Maybe it was because my cat cry was so miserable that He Qing was taken aback.

He picked me up quickly and kept gently stroking my head and smoothing my fur.

But part of my brain was already dead, probably because the cat’s brain was not big enough.

How the hell did I become a cat!?

He Qing! He Qing, take a proper look at me!

I am your little Lie Lie!

He Qing couldn’t hear my inner voice at all, and could only hear my persistent ‘meow meow’

He tilted his head and kissed my furry head lightly, his voice was as gentle as a puddle of water, “Guai1I think this is the cat’s name, are you hungry?”

Wuwuwu, He Qing’s voice was too gentle.

I couldn’t help but meow softly.

       The whole cat was shocked.

       I am not a cat!

He Qing carried me straight to the bed and then gently put me on the bed.

“Meow?” I tilted my head and looked at him.

Crap! I’m really not a fvcking cat!

He Qing sat on the edge of the bed and reached out his fingers to scratch my chin, smiling extra gently, “Guai, you can’t eat anymore even if you’re cute, you’re still young.”

But my mind was not on his smile at all.

He Qing had just finished taking a shower, so he was wearing nothing but a bathrobe.

       Wearing nothing.

       Nothing to wear.

He lowered his head slightly and the collar of his robe was wide open.

It was so wide that you could see everything underneath through the collar.

       He Qing was so white.

A thin layer of muscle could be seen under the skin, the one on the chest was so pink and tender.

I could even remember the feeling of kissing it when I saw it like this.

       This collarbone is so sexy…

I could feel my cat’s head suddenly become hot.

He Qing’s expression was suddenly a bit alarmed, “You, why are you having a nosebleed.”

I opened my mouth as if I had lost my soul, “Meow…”

My breath was stuck in my throat.

He Qing, you are so sexy.

       I can’t fvcking… I can’t fvcking stand it.

He Qing hurriedly picked me up, my head was right on his chest, and I was in close contact with his d1ck.

The smell of shower gel was all over my nose.

There was also He Qing’s smell.

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy.

He Qing ran to the kitchen, sets me down on the carpet and got up to rummage through the cupboards above.

When I looked up, I could see under the bathrobe.

       fvck…

He Qing probably hadn’t had time to put on pants yet…

I quickly lowered my cat’s head, and the nosebleed dripped onto the carpet.

Wuwuwu, this is just too sexy.

Extra 1 – The Days of Being a Cat 1

My memory hadn’t fully returned yet, but since I got together He Qing, my quality of life has skyrocketed like sitting in a mecha1human-operated robot in Japanese manga.

The little snake had also grown up slowly, that traitor!

At the same time, I found a problem.

That was, our cat seemed to have a very good life.

Let’s put it this way, if I have a human life with He Qing, then the cat has a divine life with He Qing.

       Things started two weeks ago.

Didn’t I always lose my memory? It’s not that I want to lose my memory, but since my Quantum Beast was an Ilaga python, after a large-scale battle, if the main body was seriously injured, it would shed its skin and return to its infancy state, and I would also lose my memory along with it.

Not only my other half, He Qing, was troubled by this problem, but the military department also felt very distressed.

Every time I lose my memory, all the military knowledge had to be retrained.

The advantage was that there was never any fear of me spilling the beans.

But it was too labour-intensive and time-consuming, so the military department, in conjunction with the Institute, formulated a surgery for me.

It required a three-month stay in the Institute’s laboratory, mainly to keep me in an incubation chamber.

Because it involved military secrets, He Qing, as a family member, could not accompany me.

The thought of being separated for another three months made me reluctant to part with He Qing.

I was afraid that he would be too lonely at home by himself without me.

So I purchased a white kitten to keep He Qing accompany at home.

He Qing also liked this fluffy kitten, so I went to the research institute with confidence.

After lying down in the incubator, I quietly closed my eyes.

Then it didn’t take long for me to wake up.

I felt like there was a problem with the operation!?

I looked around and there was no liquid around, just very large pieces of furniture.

So big that I wondered if I had travelled back in time.

I remembered a fairy tale on the ancient Blue Planet called something about something travelling to Wonderland, where a little girl suddenly went to a place where everything was mad big.

I tried to take a couple of steps, and the more I walked, the more I thought the furniture around me looked familiar.

I looked around for a while, but isn’t this my house?!

       What the hell?

Just when I was confused, a barefoot appeared in my line of sight, with round toes, pink and tender, and upwards a pair of large white legs, long and straight, with exceptionally smooth skin and a particularly nice feel.

I could think, as soon as I saw it, of the touch of stroking it and the feel of it clamped to my waist.

This was He Qing’s leg, and I knew it all too well!

He Qing squatted down slowly in his bathrobe. It was obvious that he had just taken a shower, his body was still a little damp, his hair was still dripping, and her skin was slightly rosy from the steam.

He reached out and touched my head, with a smile on his lips, “Waiting for me here?”

I wanted to say that I am Guan Lie!

       I opened my mouth, “Meow—”

       …

       I was shocked.

I opened my mouth again in horror, “Meow—!?!?!?!”

Chapter 9

When He Qing woke up, I had been on my knees for three hours.

He Qing was startled when he saw me, “What are you doing?”

The little snake also opened its eyes in a daze, and I picked it up and lift it off.

I pushed it to kneel together next to my knee.

       Little Snake: QAQ???

The Bird of Paradise flapped its wings and flew to He Qing’s shoulder, looking curiously at me and the snake along with its owner.

“He Qing, I had a confession to make.” I knelt in a standard way.

He Qing got off the bed and wanted to help me up, “What are you confessing for? Stand up first, you’re just getting better, kneeling on the floor is not good for your health.”

Wuwuwu, why is He Qing so nice!

I didn’t get up, and I just held He Qing’s hand.

“He Qing I apologise, but you have to believe me, I swear to the Third Galaxy that I will only love you for the rest of my life! If I can’t do that I’ll be struck by five thunderbolts!”

He Qing covered my mouth, “Don’t talk nonsense, don’t you dare make such a vow. I believe in you, get up first.”

Wuwuwu, I’m sorry to you, He Qing!

I can’t believe I made a lifetime promise with my fvck buddy!

       Me: “Wuuuwuuwuu!”

He Qing let go of my mouth, “Get up first, the ground is cold.”

I hugged his thigh, “He Qing I’m sorry, I didn’t expect I was such a jerk before I lost my memory! I had a fvck buddy!”

       He Qing didn’t say anything.

I continued to howl, “I even secretly made a lifetime promise to someone! But I don’t remember! He Qing, you have to believe me! You’re the only one I’ll love for the rest of my life! Really! I only love you now!”

He Qing also got down on one knee helplessly, “Okay, okay.”

I took him into my arms, “He Qing! Forgive me!”

He Qing sighed in my arms, “Guan Lie, you fool.”

“Wuwuwu, He Qing, I’m a fool! You can beat me and scold me! You must not let me go! I swear!”

He Qing laughed with a ‘pfft’, “Okay, husband, get up now.”

“I’m not getting up! I’m not getting up!” I hugged He Qing tightly, afraid that he would regret it if I let go.

Wuwuwu, He Qing was so nice, I’m the one who doesn’t deserve him.

       I’m just a scumbag.

He Qing kissed me lightly, “Let’s go to bed first and you can listen to what I have to tell you.”

I was red-eyed as He Qing pulled me up and tucked me under the covers, and He Qing got under the covers and huddled into my arms.

I embraced He Qing while sobbing.

I’m going to make money to support He Qing, wuwuwu.

He Qing rubbed my temples, “There, you cry every time you lose your memory. I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of?”

“Wuwuwu, I don’t know why, I just want to cry when I wake up.” I wiped away the tears from my eyes.

“Wait! Every time you lose your memory? He Qing, do you know me? I will really correct myself in the future!”

He Qing rubbed against my arms, “Of course I know you.”

“I’ve known you since the day you became a Sentinel.”

“I often sneak out from the Tower to find you, and we have spent countless firsts at one time.”

“We got through bonding heat before you went to the battlefield.”

“You marked me long ago, and we made an appointment to get married when you returned.”

“No matter how many times you lose your memory, you will always remember me in the end.”

“After you were hospitalized, I heard that you were seriously injured, but the Tower is under martial law, so I can’t sneak out to see you.”

“On the day of the blind date, because I hadn’t seen you for so long that I almost triggered the bonding heat again. Fortunately, I had your kiss.”

“It doesn’t matter if you can’t remember, this time we’ve registered and I don’t have to sneak out to see you anymore.”

“No matter how many times you lose your memory in the future, I’ll be there for you to slowly remember.”

       “I love you, Guan Lie.”

He Qing lay in my arms and told me many things about our old days, the first kiss, the first date, the first bonding, the first marking…

Those fragments of memory that I had forgotten in the corner seemed to be slowly pieced together.

“That dating alternate account……of yours” He Qing wanted to laugh when he said it, “The only person up there is me.”

“You’ve been using the alternate account to contact me secretly for fear of the military department finding out.”

“Well, stop crying and remember quickly. You are not a crybaby before you lose your memory.”

       “My Major General Guan.”

The little snake, having escaped death, crawled over and curtly touched the Bird of Paradise with its little tail, and the Bird of Paradise pecked him tenderly.

       That’s great, I’m not a scumbag.

Wuwuwu, I want to love He Qing for the rest of my life.

Guan Lie, you bastard, hurry up and remember!

Chapter 35

Suo Yang sometimes suspected that he had a hidden ‘avoidant personality’. In many cases, when faced with questions that he was unwilling to answer or didn’t know how to answer, he simply chose to ignore them.

In response to Shen Huiming’s sudden hug, he did not refuse, nor did he hug him back.

As for Shen Huiming’s half-joking and half-serious sentence, he also pretended not to hear it.

Shen Huiming also knew how to leave room for each other, he knew that he had said enough, and to continue to pester with an answer, would only make Suo Yang retreat.

       He was not that stupid.

The two of them walked out of the cinema, each with their own thoughts, smelling the smell of popcorn, walked to the escalator, and went downstairs like this.

“Just strolling around?” Shen Huiming asked.

       “Sure.”

They sat in the movie theatre for almost two hours, and it was good to move around.

The floor below the cinema was full of beverage shops and game centres. When they passed by the arcade, Shen Huiming asked him with a smile, “Want to play?”

Suo Yang smiled and waved his hands, he was really not very interested in these things.

The two were wandering around, originally planning to turn around and go downstairs, but they were stopped by two boys in front of an escape room.

The two boys were very embarrassed to say that they came to play the escape room, but two people had to leave at the last minute, and the number of people was not enough, and they had already paid the money, so they asked if they would like to form a team together.

Shen Huiming and Suo Yang had never encountered such a thing.

Shen Huiming said, “Anyway, the money has been paid, can’t you just go in? The boss even cares about this?”

“It’s not the same thing,” one of the boys explained. “There are rules about the number of people, some of the levels have to be completed by six people.”

Shen Huiming and the others understood, but the problem was…

Shen Huiming turned his head and asked Suo Yang, “Want to play?”

Suo Yang looked at him, and then said to the two boys apologetically, “I’ve never played before, I’m afraid I’ll hold you back.”

“It’s okay!” The boy in front of him was very bold, “It’s the newbies that make it fun!”

Suo Yang looked at Shen Huiming with some embarrassment.

Shen Huiming hadn’t played it before either. He and Suo Yang had never had any contact with games like this one which had only become popular among young students in recent years.

“Come on,” the boy said, “We’ve been looking for someone for a long time, but we can’t get enough. It’s a fate for us to get together. I beg you two brothers, let’s cherish this fate!”

Shen Huiming was amused by him, looked at Suo Yang, and softly asked for his opinion, “Do you want to give them the honour?”

The two boys kept chattering, “Please, please cherish it and give us the honour.”

Suo Yang smiled helplessly and said, “Okay.”

So, the two of them, who were nearly ten years older than the others, were pushed into the escape room store.

Suo Yang asked Shen Huiming in a low voice, “Have you ever played before?”

Shen Huiming said, “No, but it seems quite interesting.”

Suo Yang was the kind of person who had high standards and strict requirements in everything he did. The reason why he hesitated for a long time just now was entirely because he was worried that he wouldn’t do well and affect everyone’s progress.

After they came in, they joined the others. In addition to the two boys who just pulled them into the group outside, there was another boy and a girl, six people in total.

Suo Yang and Shen Huiming followed the clerk’s request, stood in a row with the others, and then put on blindfolds.

The clerk said, “Everyone put your hands on the shoulders of the person in front of you, and I will lead you in.”

Someone at the front asked, “Can you put it on your waist?”

Shen Huiming, who was standing at the back, listened, chuckled lightly, and then raised his hands, and put them lightly on Suo Yang’s shoulders.

They moved forward cautiously, their vision obscured by black blindfolds, and their other senses sharpened.

Suo Yang’s attention was all on Shen Huiming’s hand on his shoulder. When they turned the corner, the other man used a slight amount of force.

They walked for a while, finally stopped, and the clerk told them they could take off the blindfold.

The temperature here was lower than outside, and as soon as he came in, Suo Yang felt a chill on Suo his skin through his shirt.

He raised his hand to take off the blindfold and looked back at Shen Huiming for the first time.

Shen Huiming subconsciously took the blindfold from Suo Yang’s hand and handed it back to the shop assistant along with his own.

The two had never played the escape room before, and only now did they realize that each escape room game has its own theme, and the one they had been dragged into was ‘School of Horror’.

The shop assistant briefly explained the precautions, gave them two walkie-talkies, and then left.

This room was not big, the set was a classroom, Suo Yang and Shen Huiming were standing near the door, with rows of desks in front of them, and the teacher’s desk not far away.

The air conditioner in the room was fully turned on, with the spooky paintings on the wall and the dim light, it was much more interesting than the ‘horror movie’ the two of them had just watched.

This place was quite cool, Suo Yang thought in his heart, he should come in summer.

As he was thinking, creepy music suddenly started playing in the room, and one of the boys standing in front of him was so startled that he knocked a desk upside down.

Shen Huiming looked at Suo Yang calmly, and asked softly, “Are you scared?”

Suo Yang smiled, “I’m an atheist.”

As he spoke, a female voice came, and along with that eerie music began to tell the background of this story.

In the setting, several of them were students who had graduated from this class many years. On the tenth anniversary of graduation, they received an invitation letter to come back to the school for a reunion. However, when they arrived there, they found that the school had become an abandoned building. Originally they just wanted to come in to see the classroom they once had, but upon entering they were locked inside.

Just as the female voice introducing the background stopped, the floating red flag on the wall suddenly fell down. The red flag was right behind Suo Yang. When it fell, everyone was shocked.

A few of the boys backed away from the scene and burst into foul language because of the shock.

On the other hand, Suo Yang turned his head and looked down at the floating red flag that fell on the ground. He felt that something was wrong, so he bent down to pick it up.

Shen Huiming went over and watched Suo Yang turn over the flowing red flag, and found that there was writing on the back一A fire left me here, and I will let you be buried with me today.

Suo Yang really couldn’t get into the scene, so he tried his best not to laugh.

He and Shen Huiming looked at each other, then turned over the flowing red flag and showed it to several others.

Those boys were more involved in the drama than Suo Yang. After they saw the words on the flowing red flag, they deliberately acted as if they were scared out of their wits and almost ran away, but the girl said calmly, “Knock it off, already! Hurry up and find clues!”

With the flowing red flag in his hand, Suo Yang looked around and found that there were five people’s names written on the blackboard, but there were six desks.

“What did you find?” Shen Huiming asked.

       Suo Yang shook his head.

Shen Huiming looked down at the table in front of him, and then in the direction of the teacher’s desk. He walked over and opened the drawer of the desk.

“There’s something here.” Shen Huiming took out six name tags from the drawer, the kind of plastic name tags that elementary school students in the nineties would put on their school uniforms.

There were six name tags in total. Suo Yang went over to take a look and then looked up at the blackboard.

He took those name tags from Shen Huiming and placed them on the table one by one according to the order on the blackboard. For the last remaining name tag, the owner’s name was not on the blackboard, but there happened to be an empty table.

He stood in front of the table and said, “The student who was burned to death should be him, Zhang Xiaohui.”

“Here is Zhang Xiaohui’s locker!” A boy walked to the locker at the back of the classroom, ‘Password lock.’

Suo Yang handed the nametag in his hand to the other party and asked him to try the last four digits of the student’s number.

       Sure enough, the cabinet opened.

When the cabinet was opened, the ‘wall’ under the blackboard suddenly collapsed with a square gap that could pass through people. It seemed that they had passed the first level.

“Here is a piece of paper.” The only girl took out the piece of paper from the cabinet, “It’s only part of it.”

“It looks like we are going to have to go through all the levels and put this paper together.” When the students were talking, Suo Yang had already returned to Shen Huiming’s side.

The two stood by the blackboard, and Shen Huiming asked with a smile, “How was it? Did you find it fun?”

“It’s not bad.” Suo Yang watched the students gather together to read the words on the paper and said, “It’s quite interesting.”

Several people stooped through the gap and entered a small, dusty room.

Before coming over, a boy complained: “It’s not difficult!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he screamed.

       “What the hell is this!”

The room was a bit crowded with six people standing, and Suo Yang was almost pressed up against Shen Huiming.

“This is the laboratory.” Suo Yang looked at the table in front of him and the apparatus on it, “What’s in it?”

He leaned over to look, and Shen Huiming said, “It’s a feet.”

Suo Yang hurried back and stood next to Shen Huiming as if nothing had happened.

Shen Huiming was amused by his reaction, “Scared?”

       “No,” Suo Yang said, “It’s a bit…abnormal.”

On the table were not only bottles filled with human feet but also various human organs. Although he knew that it was all fake, Suo Yang still felt very uncomfortable looking at them.

Several people observed the room and found a scale balance on the far side.

One of the balance weights was missing, so the box was left open and set aside.

“It should be weighed.” Suo Yang said, “The weight corresponds to the bottle, try it.”

“Which one does it correspond to?” a boy asked.

The girl walked over, picked up the bottle with the ‘heart’ on it and said, “Let’s try them one by one!”

Suo Yang and the girl tried repeatedly there, but after a few times, they found that something was wrong. In fact, the weight of each bottle was the same, but one of the weights was missing.

“Maybe that’s not how it works.” A boy who hadn’t said much had a walkie-talkie in his hand, “I’ll ask for help.”

“Don’t, it’s useless to ask for help!” Another boy stopped him, “Let’s figure it out on our own, the clue must be in this room.”

“A weight is missing?” Shen Huiming suddenly realized something, and walked to Suo Yang’s side, “Put that bottle on.”

Suo Yang obediently took one of the bottles and put it on the tray.

Shen Huiming put away all the weights, and then said, “Wait for me.”

After he finished speaking, he turned around and went back to the classroom where he had just come from.

Soon, Shen Huiming came back with the six name tags in his hand.

He came over and carefully placed the name tag on the tray with weights. At the same time, there was a ‘Dang’ sound from under the table, and a small wooden door opened.

A boy complained, “You still have to crawl through it!”

Suo Yang didn’t care about this, he just looked at Shen Huiming with a smile and said, “How did you come up with the idea of using a name tag?”

“It’s just a sudden idea,” Shen Huiming was a little smug, “Would you like to praise me?”

“Praise you.” Suo Yang smiled as if he was the only one in his eyes, “You’re really thoughtful and attentive.”

Chapter 8

He Qing and I began to live happily together.

Wuwuwu, He Qing is really nice.

He Qing knew how to cook, and didn’t care about how many sex friends I used to have, and he was still so gentle to me.

       I was so touched.

I wanted to be good to He Qing for the rest of my life.

In order to show that I was not someone easy, I sleep on the bed properly and never touch He Qing.

I would only touch him when He Qing got into heat and wanted to bond with me.

       He Qing was so nice.

He woke me up gently every morning.

When my spirit fluctuated violently and my Quantum Beast was restless, He Qing would soothe me delicately with his spiritual tentacles, and his Bird of Paradise would soothe my little snake.

When I recovered and returned to the military department, everyone in the military department came to congratulate me on having such a good guide as He Qing.

I swore to the whole galaxy that I would devote my whole life to He Qing.

What kind of dog shit luck am I getting?

I thought He Qing and I could live a peaceful life like this.

       But then the unexpected happened.

One night, I suddenly remembered the password to my alternate account.

I sat up and even wanted to go out and do boxing.

The little snake had grown up a bit and was sleeping soundly wrapped around the Bird of Paradise.

I quietly got out of bed.

After making sure that He Qing wasn’t awakened by me, I went to the living room and sat on the couch.

After a set of punches to calm myself down, I turned on my System.

I logged in to my dating alternate account.

Whatever I had been through, I wanted to be honest with He Qing.

After all, I really want to be good to He Qing for the rest of my life.

I thought I’d see a list full of fvck buddies.

In the end, there was only one person on the list.

       The remark was Beloved.

I shuddered and opened the chat log.

The most recent chat was when I was still in the hospital.

       He texted me often.

       [How are you doing?]

       [How’s the injury?]

       [Is it painful?]

[I really want to see you, but I remembered our agreement.]

[The people in the military department said that you were seriously injured and unconscious. I am very worried.]

[Will you still remember me when you wake up? You forget me every time you lose your memory.]

[Without me by your side, is the little snake recovering well?]

       [Did you miss me?]

[I’ve been waiting here for you, waiting for you to marry me.]

       …

[I heard from the people in the military department that you have been discharged from the hospital.]

[I believed we’ll see each other soon.]

       [I love you, Guan Lie.]

My jaw almost dropped to the floor.

I scrolled back and there was even something I had sent to this ‘Beloved’ before I went to the battlefield.

I said that I would marry him when I got back.

       Oh My Goddd!

I fumbled and frantically turned off the System.

I started looking all over the house for a washboard.

Only a remote was found in the end.

Wuwuwu, Will He Qing forgive me if I kneel on the remote control1kneeling down on a washboard became all the Chinese women’s common punishment for their husbands, but since there’s only remote control Guan Lie wanna do it that way, lmao?

I took the remote control and put it on the floor next to the bed.

And then I ‘plopped’ myself on my knees.

Wuwuwu, I wanted to affect He Qing’s heart with my sincerity.

Chapter 58

The two of them didn’t go out for the whole day on the first day of the new year. When Chen Yuncheng was watching TV in the living room, Ning Junyan would also bring his laptop to the living room and stay with Chen Yuncheng no matter what he did.

By the second day of the Lunar New Year, Ning Junyan had to get up and go to work.

When his alarm clock went off in the morning, Chen Yuncheng woke up immediately and felt Ning Junyan release his tight hold on his arms. As the alarm clock stopped ringing and the bed shifted around him, Ning Junyan got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

Chen Yuncheng woke up and didn’t want to get up. He continued to lie on the bed with his eyes closed. He heard Ning Junyan coming out of the bathroom and felt Ning Junyan kiss him on the cheek, after which he opened his eyes and watched Ning Junyan’s back leave the room.

He rolled over and slept in the place where Ning Junyan had slept earlier, a little warmth still remained on it.

Ning Junyan had to be on duty all day today and would not return until tomorrow morning.

Chen Yuncheng had no other plans and still didn’t want to go out. He slept in until after nine o’clock in the morning and sat in the dining room in his pyjamas to eat breakfast.

Halfway through breakfast, Chen Yuncheng heard the sound of the key opening the door. He was a little surprised and thought that it was Ning Junyan who had returned and couldn’t help but glance at the time on the phone, wondering why Ning Junyan would return at this time.

The sound of footsteps coming from the door came all the way to the front of the dining room. Chen Yuncheng raised his head and saw a woman with an exquisite dress as exquisite as her appearance standing in front, looking at him with a slightly surprised expression.

That woman was none other than Ning Junyan’s mother, Shu Rong.

Chen Yuncheng met her sixteen years ago. So much time had passed that he could not remember what she looked like. But when Chen Yuncheng saw her again at this time, he could easily see the similar outline between Ning Junyan’s eyebrows and eyes and hers, so he stood up nervously and asked, “Are you Ning Junyan’s mother?”

Shu Rong looked Chen Yuncheng up and down in disbelief, but her tone was still polite as she asked him, “You are?”

Chen Yuncheng quickly said, “I am Ning Junyan’s friend, my name is Chen Yuncheng.”

When Shu Rong heard the word Chen Yuncheng, her expression changed instantly.

But Chen Yuncheng didn’t notice it, he was a little flustered, and subconsciously buttoned the top button of his pyjamas, not sure if there were any hickeys left by Ning Junyan on his neck, then he greeted Shu Rong again, “Has auntie had breakfast yet? Are you here to see Ning Junyan? He’s gone on duty today.”

Shu Rong was still looking at Chen Yuncheng, and asked in an uncertain tone, “Are you that boy?”

Chen Yuncheng looked at her, a little surprised, “Do you remember me?”

Shu Rong took a small step forward, “You are that boy, right? I have seen you before, the child who lived with Junyan.” She avoided the topic of being trafficked.

Chen Yuncheng showed a gentle smile, “It’s me.”

Shu Rong looked at him and after a moment smiled back, looking gentle, “So it really is you, how did you end up here? How did you and Junyan meet?” She asked as she held her handbag tightly.

Chen Yuncheng said, “We met by chance, but I didn’t expect Junyan to recognize me after so many years.”

The smile on Shu Rong’s face was maintained as she waited for him to continue.

“The small kiosk I owned closed down some time ago after something happened, so I’m temporarily staying here for a while.”

       Shu Rong nodded, “I see.”

Chen Yuncheng called out to Shu Rong again, “Auntie, please have a seat first.”

Shu Rong didn’t sit down. She stood in the room, looked around, and asked, “Is Junyan on duty today?”

“Yes,” Chen Yuncheng thought that Shu Rong didn’t know, and said, “He is on the second and sixth days of the New Year.”

Shu Rong nodded, “Ah, I already said I am going to come to see him.”

Chen Yuncheng said, “Why don’t you give him a call and ask him to go back to visit you tomorrow.”

Shu Rong smiled and said, “It’s okay, it’s not good to disturb him on duty to talk.” After saying that, her eyes fell to the dining table and said to Chen Yuncheng, “You haven’t finished your breakfast yet, then I won’t bother you, I’ll leave now.”

Chen Yuncheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but still said, “Auntie, please have a seat for a while.”

Shu Rong shook her head, turned around and walked towards the door with her small handbag.

Chen Yuncheng kept walking her out the door, saying politely, “Take care, Auntie.” Then he waited until Shu Rong entered the lift before closing the door and leaning against it to breathe a sigh of relief.

After breakfast, Chen Yuncheng sat on the sofa and sent a message to Ning Junyan: “Your mother came over just now.”

After he sent the message, he put his phone aside, and thought that Ning Junyan must be busy and might not have time to reply to him.

It resulted in Ning Junyan quickly calling and asking, “What did she say?”

Chen Yuncheng heard Ning Junyan’s tone was a bit cold and said strangely, “Nothing. She didn’t know you were on duty today, so she might have come to see you.”

Ning Junyan didn’t tell Chen Yuncheng that Shu Rong knew that he was on duty today, so she probably came here deliberately while he was not at home, he just asked, “Did she say anything to you?”

Chen Yuncheng leaned on the sofa, “Didn’t say anything, she saw that you weren’t there and quickly left. I told her that I was just staying with you temporarily.”

Ning Junyan was quiet for a while and didn’t speak.

Chen Yuncheng asked, “Aren’t you busy today?”

Ning Junyan said, “I just finished my rounds, so I’m not busy.”

The few days after the Chinese New Year should be the easiest time to work in the hospital. As long as most patients could be discharged from the hospital, they would choose to leave the hospital and go home to celebrate the New Year. If they were not seriously ill, they would not be sent to the hospital now.

Chen Yuncheng added, “If you’re free tomorrow, would you like to go back to see your parents?”

Ning Junyan said, “I would have gone back tomorrow.”

“Really?” Chen Yuncheng said softly, “I didn’t hear you say that.”

Ning Junyan said, “I was going to tell you when I come back tomorrow morning.” After he said that, he suddenly said, “I miss you so much.”

Chen Yuncheng was taken aback by what he said, and couldn’t help but put both feet on the sofa, and said in an uncomfortable tone, “Didn’t you just go out in the morning….”

Ning Junyan’s voice was low and deep. He sounded very serious as he said, “Come and accompany me at night.”

Chen Yuncheng thought for a while, “I can go and have supper with you, but is it okay?”

Ning Junyan said, “Come and sleep with me.”

Chen Yuncheng’s eyes widened, “In the hospital, you say?”

Ning Junyan said solemnly, “There’s a duty room, and it’s just the two of us with the door locked.”

“No!” Chen Yuncheng raised his hand to cover his eyes, “I’m not going to sleep with you, you should go to work seriously!” After he said that, he decided not to listen to Ning Junyan’s nonsense and hung up the phone directly.

When it was time to go to bed at night, Chen Yuncheng went back to his guest room. Firstly, because Ning Junyan was not at home today, and secondly, because he just saw Ning Junyan’s mother in the morning, and he was a bit embarrassed to sleep alone in Ning Junyan’s bed.

As he lay on the bed alone, Chen Yuncheng couldn’t help but feel a little upset, as he thought about if the relationship between him and Ning Junyan was to be maintained forever, he would have to go through Ning Junyan’s parents, and he felt a little sorry for Ning Junyan’s parents. But it was always impossible to have a good solution to this kind of thing, and it was inevitable to suffer serious blows. It just depended on who was more persistent and who could be convinced first.

He turned over a little annoyed and pulled up the quilt to cover half of his face. He suddenly felt that what Ning Junyan said was right, this room was really big, so big that it was a little empty, and it also seemed a bit cold tonight.

The next morning, Chen Yuncheng still slept in. But today he wasn’t woken up by Ning Junyan’s alarm clock, nor was he woken up by the need to urinate, rather he was still dreaming when he was suddenly picked up from the bed whole by someone and jolted awake with fright.

As soon as Chen Yuncheng opened his eyes, he saw Ning Junyan. Ning Junyan princess carried him and walked towards his room calmly.

“What are you doing?” Chen Yuncheng grabbed Ning Junyan’s arm in shock.

Ning Junyan suddenly looked unhappy, “Who told you to sleep here?”

Chen Yuncheng quickly understood what Ning Junyan meant, but he still couldn’t completely calm down from his panic when he spoke, “You were not here last night.”

Ning Junyan said forcefully, “Then you can only sleep on my bed.”

He carried Chen Yuncheng back to his room, placed him near the middle of the big bed, where Chen Yuncheng usually slept, pulled the quilt to cover him, then sat down on the side of the bed in satisfaction, and stroked Chen Yuncheng’s hair.

Chen Yuncheng’s fierce heartbeat gradually calmed down.

Ning Junyan had obviously just returned from outside, but his palm was even warmer than Chen Yuncheng’s skin. He stroked Chen Yuncheng’s cheek, then reached under the quilt to hold Chen Yuncheng’s hand.

“Aren’t you going back today?” Chen Yuncheng asked him.

“Mm,” Ning Junyan replied, looking at him and not speaking anymore.

Chen Yuncheng was no longer sleepy, he lay on the bed and looked at Ning Junyan. He saw Ning Junyan’s expression was very focused, and his eyes never moved away from his face.

“What are you thinking?” Chen Yuncheng couldn’t help asking.

Ning Junyan said, “I want to take you home.”

Chen Yuncheng subconsciously refused, “No, it’s not good.”

Ning Junyan intertwined his fingers with Chen Yuncheng’s, “You said my mother knew that you lived with me.”

When Chen Yuncheng heard him say that, Chen Yuncheng was lost in thought. Today Ning Junyan was going back to visit his parents. Since Ning Junyan’s mother knows that he lived here, it seemed impolite for him not to go to pay his respects, but it might seem presumptuous to suddenly go there.

“Should I go?” Chen Yuncheng was slightly distressed.

Ning Junyan’s thought was completely different from his. He wanted to take Chen Yuncheng back, but he was afraid that his parents would say anything that would hurt Chen Yuncheng. He was hesitating because he couldn’t fully control the outcome of this matter.

Chen Yuncheng sat up, “I’ll go back with you and pay my respects to your parents?”

Ning Junyan looked at him for a while and said, “Let’s go.”

Chen Yuncheng grabbed Ning Junyan’s hand, “But I want to warn you first, today for the Chinese New Year, I’m just going back with you as your friend, don’t talk nonsense to your parents.”

Ning Junyan said something completely irrelevant, “They have guests today.”

       Chen Yuncheng asked strangely, “Huh?”

Ning Junyan twitched the corner of his mouth slightly, revealing a faint smile, then grabbed Chen Yuncheng’s hand and kissed it, “It’s nothing, I won’t say anything, don’t worry.”

Shu Rong was a person who cared a lot about maintaining her reputation very much, as long as there were guests at home, she would definitely be polite to Chen Yuncheng. Ning Junyan didn’t care whether he goes back for the New Year, he just wanted to stay with Chen Yuncheng.

The author has something to say:
If there are twists and turns between Ning Junyan and Chen Yuncheng, it was just that I want to show that Ning Junyan is crazy, otherwise, I can’t make a point
