Chapter 78

After Zhan Weiguang laughed, he calmed down again and looked at Zhan Weiyang in silence.

Zhan Weiyang was concentrating on fiddling with his new phone as if he were completely immersed in another world.

Zhan Weiguang and Zhan Weiyang were brothers, and they grew up together. To this day, Zhan Weiguang still remembered many details of the day when Zhan Weiyang fell into the water, even the ripples on the water’s surface caused by the sunlight coming in from the skylight of the swimming pool.

He used to think that if he hadn’t argued with the boy who accidentally kicked him that day, his father would not have ignored Zhan Weiyang to pull them apart, and Zhan Weiyang would not have drowned.

Zhan Weiguang wondered what Zhan Weiyang would be like if he hadn’t almost drowned. He figured that Weiyang probably wouldn’t be much like him—he’d likely be more cheerful, more radiant, and more likeable. Perhaps they could have become decent brothers, not too close, but able to play basketball and video games together, sharing some of their thoughts and secrets.

Zhan Weiguang watched Zhan Weiyang grow up little by little. He thought he knew Zhan Weiyang well enough, and he didn’t even need to talk to him. He saw everything about Zhan Weiyang, and he could guess his reaction when Zhan Weiyang spoke.

But today, Zhan Weiguang found for the first time that he still didn’t know Zhan Weiyang well enough. He didn’t know what Zhan Weiyang was thinking.

He always thought that one day, when they were older and after their grandmother and father had passed away, his mentally underdeveloped brother would have no one else to rely on but him. He never considered shirking that responsibility. In fact, he even thought that if his future girlfriend couldn’t accept his brother’s presence, he would still stand by him. It just didn’t occur to him that he wasn’t even in Zhan Weiyang’s plans for the future.

Zhan Weiguang looked at Zhan Weiyang for a long time, and suddenly he couldn’t control his emotions, and tears came out all of a sudden. He hadn’t shed tears for many years. The last time he cried in his memory was when his parents divorced and his mother left home with luggage. He stood in front of the window and looked at his mother’s back. At that time, he shed tears silently, and raised his hand and wiped them away quickly.

But now, Zhan Weiguang didn’t know why he was crying. The emotion came so suddenly that it brought him back to many past experiences in an instant, the swimming pool on the afternoon when Zhan Weiyang drowned, the morning when his mother left with the box, and then he saw Zhan Weiyang holding someone else’s hand with a blurred face for a long time, leaving him with an unclear back.

Zhan Weiyang had already installed WeChat to log in to his account. He wanted to video chat with Pei Qing, but Zhan Weiguang was still in his room.

He couldn’t ask Zhan Weiguang to leave directly and wanted to find a more tactful sentence to let him leave by himself, so he raised his head and looked at Zhan Weiguang carefully. Then, he found that Zhan Weiguang was crying.

Zhan Weiyang was a little dumbfounded. He seemed to have never seen Zhan Weiguang cry. He was so surprised at this moment that he didn’t even notice that the phone in his hand fell on the bed.

He thought about it and thought that Zhan Weiguang was probably crying because he had just said that he should live next door and not at home. He really didn’t expect Zhan Weiguang to be so sad.

So he stood up, took the tissue on the bedside table, walked around the bed to Zhan Weiguang, squatted down and handed him the tissue.

Zhan Weiguang felt that it was really stupid to cry in front of Zhan Weiyang. He took a tissue, turned his head and wiped his face hard.

Zhan Weiyang squatted beside him, was silent for a while, and said, “If you really want to live here.”

“What?” His words sounded a bit incoherent to Zhan Weiguang.

Zhan Weiyang’s tone was very unwilling, “If you really want to live in my house, then live there, but you can’t be mean to me.”

Zhan Weiguang’s eyes were still red, but he couldn’t help but feel amused and said, “Who wants to live in your house?”

Zhan Weiyang breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Yes, you should get married soon.”

Zhan Weiguang said, “I don’t even have a girlfriend. Who do you want me to marry?”

Zhan Weiyang urged him, “Then find a girlfriend quickly.”

Zhan Weiguang smiled and said nothing.

Zhan Weiyang said again, “And if you are in a relationship, you won’t always want to break us up.” He said the last sentence in a low voice.

Zhan Weiguang looked at him and asked, “Do you still think there is no problem with you being with Pei Qing?”

“What’s the problem?” Zhan Weiyang asked him.

Zhan Weiguang said, “You are too young, and some things are too beautiful in imagination.”

Unexpectedly, Zhan Weiyang nodded, “I will be eighteen in a few months.”

Zhan Weiguang didn’t know what to say. He could have said to Zhan Weiyang, have you ever thought about what you would do if Pei Qing didn’t like you one day or couldn’t stand the pressure to get married? But he suddenly couldn’t say these words. He couldn’t think of the meaning of these words. He had never thought that Zhan Weiyang would fall in love with a healthy and normal girl and get married. If that day came, wouldn’t Zhan Weiyang still be alone?

Was it really appropriate to stop Zhan Weiyang from falling in love just because of fear of possible harm?

Zhan Weiguang was in an extremely complicated mood. He couldn’t help but imagine that if Pei Qing was serious about Zhan Weiyang and they got together, with Pei Qing’s ability and skills, the life he could give Zhan Weiyang might be something that he, his blood brother, couldn’t give. The future that Zhan Weiyang imagined sounded too beautiful.

What should and shouldn’t be done?

Zhan Weiguang raised his hand and covered his face.

Zhan Weiyang was a little worried about him. He raised his hand and retracted it. He then stretched out only one finger, poked his arm, and asked, “Are you okay?”

Zhan Weiguang replied to Zhan Weiyang, “I don’t know.”

Zhan Weiyang felt that Zhan Weiguang was very inexplicable. He squatted beside him, was silent for a while, and asked again, “Are you okay?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “Is there something on your mind?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “If you are fine, I want to sleep for a while.”

“I’m fine,” Zhan Weiguang said. He stood up and said to Zhan Weiyang, “You can sleep if you want to, I’ll go out first.”

Zhan Weiyang also stood up and followed Zhan Weiguang to the door. After watching him leave, he quickly shut the door, then, still uneasy, locked it. Only then did he return to his bed, lie down, and pick up his phone to video call Pei Qing.

When Zhan Weiguang returned to the room, Zhan Xiusong was still playing games.

He glanced at Zhan Weiguang and asked, “Coming?”

“No,” Zhan Weiguang rejected him coldly. Then he walked to his bedside and lay down against the headboard.

He hesitated for a long time and sent a message to Pei Qing, “Can we talk again when we are free?”

Pei Qing replied after a while, “Sure, later.”

It was not until the evening that Zhan Weiguang and Pei Qing had another phone call.

Because Zhan Xiusong was in his room, Zhan Weiguang put on his coat and took his mobile phone to the second-floor balcony to call Pei Qing.

Zhan Weiguang’s mind was in a mess. He was also a freshman who had just entered college. He felt that he could not handle such a complicated situation, but he did not dare to tell Zhan Pengcheng.

If Pei Qing were not the person involved in this matter, perhaps Zhan Weiguang would take the initiative to seek Pei Qing’s help and let Pei Qing tell him what to do.

The two talked on the phone for more than an hour.

Zhan Weiguang’s hands and feet were cold from standing outside. He put on the hood of his down jacket and squatted in the corner of the balcony to avoid the wind, but his face was still hurt by the cold wind.

He repeatedly warned Pei Qing not to touch Zhan Weiyang.

Pei Qing asked him, “What do you mean by touching?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “You know what I mean.”

Pei Qing said, “Eighteen years old is not allowed?”

Zhan Weiguang was a little angry, “You know his intelligence is not up to the level of eighteen years old.”

Pei Qing asked, “Then when can it be allowed?”

Zhan Weiguang was going crazy. Why on earth was he discussing when some guy might sleep with his brother? He pulled the hood of his down jacket down hard, almost covering his eyes, and finally said with gritted teeth, “Wait until the day when my father and I agree.”

Pei Qing was not angry but said calmly, “Oh? Does it mean that you and Uncle will agree one day?”

Zhan Weiguang was stunned by his question and said, “I don’t think my father will.”

Pei Qing was silent for a while, “I understand.”

Chapter 24

Qian Xiaoke really was a good person.

Not just a good person but also a good man.

He sat up in bed and turned to look at Jiang Tongyan, who was lying there, staring blankly at the ceiling with lifeless eyes.

What joy is there in life, and what sorrow is there in death?

This phrase was written all over Jiang Tongyan’s face.

“Chairman Jiang,” Qian Xiaoke patted him gently through the quilt, “Take your time; some things can’t be rushed.”

Jiang Tongyan really didn’t want to listen to him, so he pulled the quilt over his head.

       What a pitiful sight.

As a man, he couldn’t get hard, which was really one of the most pitiful things in the world.

Qian Xiaoke was not a heartless person, and he also shared some responsibility for this. Seeing Jiang Tongyan abandoning himself like this, he couldn’t bear it.

“Chairman Jiang, don’t be like this.” Qian Xiaoke turned over and lay on top of Jiang Tongyan through the quilt. “Really, trust me. Your illness is probably just caused by too much stress. Relax, and you’ll be fine.”

Qian Xiaoke suddenly had an idea and slapped Jiang Tongyan.

He slapped Jiang Tongyan so hard that he almost killed him.

“I had an idea!” Qian Xiaoke said excitedly, “I had an idea of how to make you relax!”

Jiang Tongyan peeked out from under the quilt and asked in a muffled voice, “What?”

“Next time I touch you, I’ll tell you a joke.” Qian Xiaoke said, “You will naturally relax when you smile.”

Jiang Tongyan knew that he should not have any expectations of this kid.

“Are you just going to tell jokes like the one about swatting flies?” Jiang Tongyan’s right eyelid twitched. “Why don’t you just drop dead? I’d feel more relaxed if you were gone.”

“…That won’t work.” Qian Xiaoke said, “I haven’t lived enough.”

Jiang Tongyan sneered, looked at him, and then suddenly realised that this kid was actually lying on top of him comfortably at this moment.

How to say it… If it weren’t for the rather awkward predicament they were both in right now, this might have been a heartwarming moment.

But the problem was, there was no if.

Qian Xiaoke said thoughtfully, “If you don’t like that joke, I’ll watch some more and find other ones for you. Don’t be so grumpy all the time. I think your inability to get hard might have something to do with your bad temper.”

“Cut it out,” Jiang Tongyan said, “It’s all your fault.”

“Part of it,” Qian Xiaoke lay on him and sighed, “But it’s also because you’re just not trying hard enough.”

After saying that, he realised that he had said the wrong thing again.

Qian Xiaoke glanced at Jiang Tongyan from the corner of his eye, and Jiang Tongyan said, “You will piss me off sooner or later.”

Seeing that he had no intention of getting angry, Qian Xiaoke chuckled, “JUst kidding.”

Qian Xiaoke straightened up and got off the bed.

Jiang Tongyan watched as he bent over nakedly to pick up the clothes that were thrown on the floor and felt something stirred in him.

However, for him now, this impulse was very painful.

Qian Xiaoke picked up the clothes and put them on, and suddenly remembered that he had not done his business yet. After all, he returned to find Jiang Tongyan, not to save the dying and the wounded, but to get a receipt.

“Chairman Jiang,” Qian Xiaoke said, “Can I reach into your pants pocket for a second?”

Jiang Tongyan froze, clutching the quilt tightly as he looked at Qian Xiaoke with wary eyes.

He didn’t hear it clearly just now and heard ‘trouser pocket’ as ‘crotch’.

       It stung a little.

Even if he couldn’t get it up right now, that didn’t mean this punk could assault him!

“What the hell is wrong with you?”

“Nothing’s wrong! I just want to grab something from your pocket.” Qian Xiaoke was a little frustrated because he found that it was already too late.

By the time he got back to the office, the finance department would likely have gone home, so he would not be able to get his money tonight.

If he couldn’t get his money, he would feel uneasy, and if he felt uneasy, he would be in a bad mood.

This matter was all Jiang Tongyan’s fault. He might have gotten the money if Jiang Tongyan hadn’t dragged him.

“Take it.” Jiang Tongyan said, “Find it yourself.”

After he finished speaking, he added, “Go wash your hands first, don’t dirty my pants.”

Qian Xiaoke pouted, “My hands are full of your smell. Do you even dislike yourself?”

He muttered in a low voice, and Jiang Tongyan didn’t hear it clearly.

Qian Xiaoke got the receipt as he wished. He then put the trousers away like a treasure. He figured it was almost quitting time anyway, and since his home was closer, he might as well skip the office and head straight home.

He dressed neatly and prepared to leave.

Jiang Tongyan was still lying in bed, looking depressed. After Qian Xiaoke left, he slowly stood up like an old man who was about to die.

       Very depressing.

Jiang Tongyan took his phone and looked at the calendar. He decided to make an appointment with a psychologist after returning to New York.

       =========

       Qian Xiaoke went home.

It was not yet six o’clock when he got home, a little earlier than his usual time to get off work.

The hallway was pitch black when he entered his rented apartment.

The place he rented made people very depressed. In hindsight, he might have been swindled to some extent.

Back then, Qian Xiaoke was in a hurry to find a new place because the landlord of his previous apartment suddenly wanted it back. At the time, Qian Xiaoke didn’t know any better—he had no idea he could use legal means to protect his rights. Naively, when the landlord told him to move out within three days, he panicked and immediately started searching for a new place.

Because he was in a hurry, he was careless. Later, Qian Xiaoke also suffered from his carelessness.

At the time, to save on agency fees, he chose a small, unknown rental agency.

Normally, agency fees were equivalent to one month’s rent, but this agency only charged half a month’s rent.

       Half a month!

So, Qian Xiaoke signed the contract immediately after seeing the house.

It was a three-bedroom unit, and the monthly rent for the second bedroom he chose was 1,500 yuan. The room was fairly spacious, though the window was a bit small. But that didn’t matter—what was important was that it was both spacious and cheap.

The apartment was vacant at the time, with no tenants. The agent had assured him, “It’s a three-bedroom unit meant for three people, all young men. The other two tenants are from neighbouring cities and rarely come to stay. Don’t worry, this apartment is great.”

Qian Xiaoke nodded repeatedly, thinking that he had picked up a treasure, so after signing the contract, he happily prepared to move.

The day after Qian Xiaoke moved in, the residents of the other two rooms also moved in, but it was a little different from what the agent said. The two rooms were all occupied by couples, so originally, there were three people living in them, but in the end, there were five people living in them.

Couples were couples, and five people were five people—Qian Xiaoke tolerated it.

But he never could have imagined that this was just the beginning.

One unremarkable Wednesday, everything seemed normal when he left in the morning. But when he returned in the evening, he thought he had walked into the wrong apartment.

The original living room had disappeared, and as soon as he opened the door, there was a small dark corridor where the living room should have been made into two small partitioned bedrooms.

       Qian Xiaoke was shocked.

Before he could reach out to the agency for clarification, the two cubicles were already occupied. The three-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom apartment had been transformed into a five-bedroom, no-living-room, one-bathroom unit. The number of residents had also increased from the original three to seven or eight people.

Why ‘seven or eight’? Because one of the guys living in a partitioned cubicle often brought people over—different genders, all unfamiliar faces, and never the same person twice. It left Qian Xiaoke completely dumbfounded.

When he finally reacted and wanted to contact the agent, he couldn’t get in touch. The unscrupulous agent had evaporated, and none of them who lived here had the landlord’s contact information.

At the time, he had paid three months’ rent upfront as a deposit, so even if he had to grit his teeth and endure it, he was determined to stay for at least that quarter.

Moreover, even if he moved out later, he knew he wouldn’t get his deposit back, which made him feel even more upset.

Qian Xiaoke had to pay for his carelessness and could only live there.

He walked along the dark corridor to his bedroom. When he unlocked the bedroom, he heard the sound of ‘umm, ah, ahng, hnn’ coming from the partition again, which made his ears burn.

He quickly opened the door, entered the house, and closed the door.

Qian Xiaoke sighed deeply, put down his things, and lay on the bed thinking about what part-time job he should do to make back the lost deposit. There was still more than a month left for the three months to be over. He estimated that he would have to move anyway. With the current housing prices, renting a house is so expensive!

He turned over and glanced at the receipt.

When Qian Xiaoke saw the receipt, he subconsciously thought of Jiang Tongyan.

       It’s good to be rich.

Rich people could stay in a VIP suite in a five-star hotel for more than a thousand yuan a night, and the price of one night was almost as much as his monthly rent.

Qian Xiaoke pulled the quilt over his face and decided to sleep first.

Dreams could have anything in them.

       Muscular men.

       And money.

Chapter 24

It was getting late, and Chen Huan was still waiting for his client in the consulting room. He sipped his coffee and recalled what the man had been like when he first appeared.

The brown-haired young man sat on the single sofa opposite, his head lowered, his bangs covering his red eyes, and he whispered in a broken voice, “Every time I close my eyes, that moment when Dad left appears before me. He held my hand, and then it just went limp, falling down like that. His eyes were open, looking at me, as if there were so many things he still wanted to say, as if he wanted one last look at Mom and me, as if he couldn’t bear to leave…”

“Dr. Chen, I argued with him that day. I found him annoying, always meddling in my life… Now he can’t do that anymore… I’m such an idiot… He’s gone, and I don’t know what to do…”

“I failed to take good care of my mother. She kept herself locked in her room, wouldn’t let anyone in. By the time I kicked the door open and got in, I found she had taken sleeping pills… We saved her, but her mind was affected. She’s forgotten about Dad’s passing. She keeps telling me that he’s just away on a business trip and will be back in a few days…”

“What should I do? What can I do to get everything back? They all say to be strong and calm. I don’t know how to be strong or calm. I have no place to say these things… I’m going crazy…” He covered his eyes with his hands, but tears kept falling down.

At that time, Chen Huan did not know the identity of the sad, guilty, helpless and fragile young man in front of him. He sympathised with the big boy who was crushed by the changes. As a psychiatrist, he continued to gently comfort and enlighten him, helping him rebuild his self-confidence and regain his confidence in life.

The day after that man’s visit, two men came to his studio and placed a contract in front of him. Someone was willing to inject money to expand the size of his clinic, but he had put forward a condition that required him to tell the situation of the patient he received yesterday. Chen Huan refused. He felt that protecting the privacy of his customers was more important. Unexpectedly, the other party signed a contract with him.

Only then did he know that the person who signed the contract with him was from the famous consortium, and the patient he had treated before was actually the consortium’s eldest young master, Eldest Young Master Chu Yunhan. Since then, he had become the chief psychotherapist of the Golden Eagle Group, providing psychological diagnosis and treatment to members of the Black Eagle Association. He had signed confidentiality documents. No matter what he learned from these people, he would not keep any information and never tell anyone about it. In addition, he also promised one thing…

There was a knock on the door, and the front desk led the guest into the consulting room with an appointment.

“Please sit down.” Chen Huan raised his hand, “Mr. Zhou Han, long time no see.”

Zhou Han was Chu Yunhan’s pseudonym. He took his mother’s surname and his own first name. At that time, he felt that he was about to collapse and needed to find a place to talk. Because of his background, he couldn’t reveal his family’s secrets to others, so he chose a small private psychological clinic and used a pseudonym.

Acknowledging Chu Yunhan’s false identity, treating him as an ordinary patient, and allowing him to express his feelings freely to him was another thing Chen Huan promised. Chen Huan didn’t know why the eldest young master of the Chu family would condescend to come to his small clinic. But he could understand why the other party signed a contract with him. Chu Yunhan gradually trusted him during many medical visits, but Golden Eagle could not let himself, a small doctor, know the family’s secrets. In order to protect their eldest young master and also in order to know the information of their own within the control, they signed a contract with him. As for this additional condition, it was to allow the Eldest Young Master Chu to have a place to relieve his emotions anonymously. This request did not violate his medical principles, so he agreed. He did his best to help Chu Yunhan go through that difficult and painful time and found an exit for him in the collapsing world.

—In this world, not everyone could face life and death with strength. If you couldn’t bear it, it was okay to try to escape first. There was no shame in being vulnerable. You must first admit your vulnerability, accept your true self, and then learn to be strong little by little.

Chen Huan suggested that Chu Yunhan temporarily leave the mansion where he lived with his parents, relax, do some aerobic exercise, and find something interesting to divert his attention. He originally wanted to help him regain his confidence through slow counselling. However, Chu Yunhan suddenly stopped coming and only transferred three times the consultation fee to him.

Later, he heard that Eldest Young Master Chu lingered in nightclubs and soaked himself in alcohol and women. Chen Huan felt a little regretful in his heart because he knew very well that there was a wound in Chu Yunhan’s heart. No matter how unruly he appeared, a sensitive and sad young man was always hidden in that wound.

He originally thought that there would be no more interaction between the two, but unexpectedly, the other party appeared again.

After a long time apart, Chu Yunhan had matured somewhat. The grey plaid suit paired with the slender figure made him look very tall and straight, but he seemed to have no energy, and like most people who came here, he was a little depressed.

Chen Huan placed a cup of jasmine tea on the small side table next to him and smiled, “You came to find me because you are not in a good mood lately?”

Chu Yunhan frowned slightly, with an extremely embarrassed look on his face. He hesitated before speaking, “Dr. Chen, are there any patients who come to you who… well, just… have mental problems with sex?”

Chen Huan was slightly startled and replied, “Yes.”

“Were they cured later?” He asked very directly.

“Some obstacles have been eliminated through psychological counselling, and some have had little effect.” The doctor looked at him and asked, “Did you encounter any difficulties in this area when you came to see me today?”

Chu Yunhan pursed his lips. He turned away, stared at the cup of scented tea, and said softly, “Yes.”

“Can you tell me the specific situation?”

“I…” He was extremely embarrassed, and his face turned red. “When I do it with a woman, I always feel it’s not intense enough, and…it’s hard to reach climax.”

Chen Huan noticed his choice of words and asked, “So, have you ever tried having sex with a man?”

       He said frankly, “I tried.”

       “How’s the situation?”

       “It’s not good either.”

“What does ‘not so good’ mean?” Men and women had different ways of making love and receiving different stimulations, so he asked this question.

Chu Yunhan’s face turned redder, “Being with a man… Can make me more aroused, but every time it comes to climax, I will also have a psychological barrier, and I will hold back uncontrollably.”

The doctor thought for a moment and said, “Why do you think this is a ‘psychological barrier’ rather than coming from the body? In other words, how did your repressive behaviour come about? Did it occur naturally, or was it a sexual incident? Did someone impose this kind of obstacle on you?”

The man pursed his lips tightly and said nothing.

“If you don’t want to say…”

“I… was forced to play some BDSM games before.” After saying this, he seemed to be deflated, leaning on the sofa and supporting his head with one hand on his forehead.

Chen Huan had studied the psychology of sadomasochism, and when he saw what he said, he had a clear understanding of the situation. He slowly said, “If I guess correctly, the person who forced you should be a male, right?”

       Chu Yunhan nodded awkwardly.

“Compared with ordinary sex, BDSM is more intense and dangerous. A certain degree of restraint, humiliation and pain will stimulate the secretion of endorphins in the brain, making people reach an intense pleasure almost soaring. And this extreme pleasure is addictive, just like if you drink water after drinking a cup of hot cocoa—it will feel bland.”

       “How can I break this…addiction?”

“I think talking about ‘quitting’ is a bit serious.” Chen Huan smiled, “If you’d rather have hot cocoa than water, then it’s okay to indulge a little. BDSM is merely a form of eroticism if both partners cooperate. For example, in ordinary sex, some men will ask women to call them ‘Daddy’. This title can show a sense of immorality, which will make him feel more excited. Using the identities of master and slave strengthens the concepts of dominance and submission, thereby amplifying stimulation.” He paused, “Similarly, whipping and binding are meant to be stimulating. Excessive pain or discomfort will dampen desire, so a dom needs to control the intensity to keep the sub’s discomfort just within the range that enhances arousal. These are tools to heighten pleasure, which is the same as drinking wine before sex. If you feel that you can get the pleasure you want in this way, you can boldly try to make sex more interesting and exciting within a safe range. Control it a little to avoid overstimulation and depleting the body, such as having hot cocoa once a week and drinking water at other times.”

Chu Yunhan was stunned for a while, with a puzzled look on his face, “But… I can’t ejaculate…”

“This is something I’m more concerned about.” The doctor thought for a while and said, “Can I ask you some specific details about your previous participation in BDSM?”

       He hesitated and nodded.

       “You’re the dominant one, right?”

       “Um.”

“The other party…I mean the person you are playing this kind of game with. Is it many people or one person only?”

       “One person.”

“He forced you to do it, and you’re not willing to cooperate?”

       “…En.”

Chen Huan was surprised. He knew Chu Yunhan’s identity. It felt incredible to him that such a favoured man who was so protected could be forced to become a sub in BDSM. Who could it be?

However, this was a private matter and not something he should get involved in. He still maintained a calm expression and continued to ask, “What method did he use to control your ejaculation when he was having sex with you? Was it a tool or some other thing?”

Chu Yunhan’s face was as red as an apple. He lowered his gaze on the tea cup in his hand and said, “Sometimes it’s some tools, and sometimes he used his hand to block it.”

“Under what circumstances would he allow you to cum?”

       “After he is…satisfied.”

“Is there any special way? I mean, how did he give you instructions to ejaculate?”

“…He would say, ‘you can cum’.”

       “Does this happen every time?”

       “Almost.”

“If he doesn’t give this instruction, it means you can’t cum. Or there will be punishment, right?”

He made a low ‘En’ sound.

“That’s it.” Dr. Chen, who found the cause of the disease, smiled, “Next time you can try to find a dom for an erotic BDSM sex session. And tell him ahead of time to give you the instructions when you need to climax. I’m sure your block can be lifted.”

Chu Yunhan sat on the sofa dumbfounded. It took him a while to recover from these words and said, “Do I…do I have to do this in the future…”

“As your body begins to adapt to other people, the impact that person has on you will gradually lessen.”

“But I’m not gay…” he said anxiously.

“If you can get pleasure through penetration, of course you can also choose a female dom. It doesn’t really matter whether you are gay or not. Male or female, it’s just that the objects of desire are different. Everyone has their own preferences,” Chen Huan said with a smile. “But the pleasure from squeezing the prostate is usually stronger than the pleasure from penile friction.” He rummaged in the drawer for a while, then took out a card and handed it to Chu Yunhan, “This is from a previous customer of mine. He is from the BDSM circle and knew that I was interested in studying the psychology of sadomasochism, so he gave me this. It seems to be an invitation card to their club. If you are interested, you can check it out. There should be some good dom in the circle.”

Chapter 77

After ending the call with Pei Qing, Zhan Weiyang was going to take medicine. As soon as he opened the door, he saw Zhan Weiguang standing at the door looking at him.

He avoided Zhan Weiguang’s sight and walked forward.

Zhan Weiguang reached out and grabbed his collar, took a look at his bare feet, and said, “Go put on your shoes.”

Zhan Weiyang raised his hand to grab his wrist to make him let go, “Let me go first.”

Auntie Luo came over at this time and asked them, “Aren’t you having breakfast? You should eat breakfast first.”

Zhan Weiyang returned the phone to Auntie Luo, went back to the room to put on slippers, and took the medicine obediently, and then came back to the dining room on the first floor and sat down.

Zhan Xiusong had already eaten and went back to the room upstairs to play games. Only Zhan Weiguang and Zhan Weiyang were left at the dining table.

Zhan Weiyang lowered his head and ate silently without saying a word.

When Zhan Weiguang was about to speak, he heard the sound of a car being locked outside. Knowing that Zhan Pengcheng had returned, he also fell silent and did not speak.

After lunch, Pei Qing called Zhan Weiyang to coax him a few words, and then called Zhan Weiguang.

At that time, Zhan Weiguang was playing games with Zhan Xiusong in his room. When he saw Pei Qing calling, he threw the controller away and walked out with the phone.

Zhan Xiusong hurriedly called him, “Hello!”

       Zhan Weiguang did not respond.

Zhan Xiusong noticed that Zhan Weiguang was in a bad mood all day, so he did not dare to say anything, and turned back to stare at the screen silently.

As soon as the call was connected, Pei Qing said to Zhan Weiguang, “You can ask me any questions, don’t scare Yangyang.”

By this time, Zhan Weiguang had calmed down. He squatted against the wall and asked in a cold tone, “Explain clearly what happened between you and Zhan Weiyang?”

Pei Qing said, “It’s what you know. We kissed, but we didn’t do anything else. If you want to ask, I think we are in a relationship.”

Zhan Weiguang flicked his short hair on his head with a painful expression and asked, “Pei Qing, are you crazy?”

Pei Qing’s tone was very calm, “What do you mean?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “You know that Zhan Weiyang is a boy?”

Pei Qing said ‘En’, “I haven’t had any doubts about that.”

Zhan Weiguang continued, “And I told you that he drowned when he was a child and had problems with brain development. You said you were in a relationship with him. Does he even understand what being in a relationship means?”

Pei Qing said, “I think he understands. Have you communicated with him?”

Zhan Weiguang said hurriedly, “Does he really understand, or did you instil the knowledge in him? Are you sure he didn’t mistake his dependence on you for love?”

Pei Qing was silent for a long time, and he asked Zhan Weiguang, “Have you tried to ask Yangyang these questions? Not yelling at him, but sitting down and talking to him, asking him what he is thinking and what he thinks.”

Zhan Weiguang said, “His thoughts are just immature and naive. Should we just indulge him because he thinks this way? Don’t even mention Zhan Weiyang’s intellectual issues; even if he were a normal seventeen-year-old boy, do you think you have a reason to date him?”

Pei Qing asked, “What if you were him?”

       Zhan Weiguang was stunned, “What?”

Pei Qing said, “If you were 17 years old, in your second year of high school, and you met someone you liked and wanted to have a relationship with, and your father and your teacher thought your ideas were immature and you should listen to them, what would you think?”

       “I—”

Pei Qing interrupted him before he finished speaking, “Zhan Weiyang is just an ordinary boy; why can’t you try to communicate with him? You think it’s too early to fall in love at the age of seventeen, and I also think that seventeen is too young. I haven’t thought about doing anything with him. I’m waiting for him to grow up and make a decision when he is more mature. If he meets a girl he likes when he is eighteen and goes to college, and he tells me that he doesn’t like me anymore, I can totally accept it. Do you understand what I mean?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “I don’t accept it.”

Pei Qing said, “Then you can try to convince him.”

       Zhan Weiguang was silent.

Pei Qing continued, “Don’t quarrel; go and talk to him. Tell him what you think, and drive out the bad ideas you think I have instilled in him from his head. No matter what the final result is, I will accept it.”

After hanging up the phone, Zhan Weiguang squatted in place and hugged his head, and didn’t move for a long time.

After a while, he heard the sound of a car coming from downstairs, and then he slowly stood up and walked to the window to look downstairs.

Zhan Pengcheng parked the car at the door of his house, opened the passenger door, and Zhan Weiyang jumped out.

Zhan Weiyang was supposed to get his phone repaired in the afternoon, but Zhan Pengcheng saw that his phone was broken, so he simply took him out to buy a new one.

Now, Zhan Weiyang was looking forward to returning to continue calling Pei Qing. At noon, Pei Qing called the home landline, and Zhan Weiyang stood in the living room to answer the phone. He said two short sentences and then hung up.

Now with a new phone, Zhan Weiyang could not only call Pei Qing, but also video chat with Pei Qing. As he thought of this, he felt happy, and he couldn’t remember the unhappy things in the morning.

After Zhan Pengcheng sent Zhan Weiyang home, he drove out again. He had many business friends and customers who needed to keep in touch during the Chinese New Year. Except for eating at home on the 30th, he had social events almost every day.

Zhan Weiyang jogged up the stairs to the second floor and saw Zhan Weiguang standing at the stairs. His expression changed suddenly. He turned sideways to avoid Zhan Weiguang’s sight and continued to walk forward along the wall.

Zhan Weiguang did not speak either, following Zhan Weiyang silently, and saw Zhan Weiyang still going back to Pei Qing’s room.

He followed him in, closed the door casually, stood against the wall and asked Zhan Weiyang, “Aren’t you going to live in your own room?”

Zhan Weiyang was kneeling beside the bed, studying his new mobile phone. He looked up at him and said, “Wait a minute.”

He felt that this room still had the atmosphere of Pei Qing’s life, and he was reluctant to move out, so he wanted to wait for a few days.

Zhan Weiguang was a little dazed. In his impression, he had never had a serious chat with Zhan Weiyang. What was he talking about? His brother was like a little fool. Their thinking was never in the same world. He always thought that when Zhan Pengcheng was gone one day, he only needed to give Zhan Weiyang a good meal and a good place to live, and he would have fulfilled his obligations.

He thought they didn’t need to communicate, but Pei Qing repeatedly asked him to talk to Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiguang walked to the other side of the bed, knelt down beside the bed like Zhan Weiyang, put his arms on the bed, and said, “Zhan Weiyang, can you talk to me properly?”

Zhan Weiyang moved his eyes away from the phone screen and looked at his face, “What?”

Zhan Weiguang felt a little awkward but still tried to speak in a serious and calm tone, “Do you like Pei Qing?”

Zhan Weiyang nodded, “I like him very much.”

Zhan Weiguang raised his hand and scratched his face, asking, “Do you like me or Pei Qing more?”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him strangely, as if he was looking at a fool, “Of course I like Pei Qing, why should I like you?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “Because I am your brother.”

Zhan Weiyang lowered his head to look at the phone and ignored him.

Zhan Weiguang didn’t know how to continue the topic.

Unexpectedly, Zhan Weiyang took the initiative to talk after a while, “I’m not going to spend my whole life with you.”

Zhan Weiguang was stunned and took some time to understand what he meant, “You want to spend your whole life with Pei Qing?”

Zhan Weiyang smiled a little shyly, his round eyes flickering with light, and he said, “Except for not being able to have children with Qing ge, I can do everything else. Why can’t we be together for a lifetime?”

Zhan Weiguang looked at him blankly.

Zhan Weiyang still had a smile on his face, “It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t have a child, it’s enough that he has me.”

Zhan Weiguang waited for a while, and asked tentatively, “Did Pei Qing say these words to you?”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him, “No, that’s what I thought. I also thought that when my father is old, I will let Dad and Grandma live with us, and I can take good care of them.”

Zhan Weiguang couldn’t find the words for a while, and asked after a long time, “What about me?”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him strangely, “Aren’t you getting married?”

Zhan Weiguang thought their conversation was magical and deliberately said, “What if I don’t get married?”

Zhan Weiyang frowned, lowered his head and stared at the bed sheet for a while and said, “You can live next door to me, don’t live in my house.”

Zhan Weiguang was angry and amused, “Do you hate me so much?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “I will take care of you, but you are not allowed to control me or be mean to me, let alone scold Qing ge.”

Zhan Weiguang had mixed emotions for a moment and couldn’t help laughing out loud.

Chapter 23

When the time on the monitor hit 00:00, the data on the platform’s settlement page was locked, and the finance department began an intense round of financial calculations. The busy anniversary week was finally over, and soon, the results would be revealed.

Chu Yunhan paced around the office restlessly and almost bumped into the financial director who had walked in. He stared at the page in the other person’s hand, wanting to read it but not daring to look at it, and asked, “…how much is the increase?”

“8.3%.” The financial director laughed. “Everyone is very happy. It’s really not easy.”

Hearing this result, Chu Yunhan felt as if a huge firework exploded in his heart, and he was so excited that he wanted to jump up. However, due to the presence of the staff, he could only pretend to be calm. He coughed lightly, concealed his good mood, and said earnestly, “Well, it’s pretty good. Let’s give everyone a rest for the next week. Your department will have to work a little harder to pay out the bonuses.”

As soon as the financial director left the room, he clenched his fists, made a gesture of victory celebration, and happily smashed the pillows on the sofa to the ceiling.

       He won!

He finally got rid of Chu Yichen!

From now on, he is free!

Chu Yunhan couldn’t wait to go to his old house right now, throw this financial report in Chu Yichen’s face, and show him his results arrogantly. That guy’s face must be…

When he thought of Chu Yichen’s face, his enthusiasm suddenly dropped by half. Even if that person knew he had won, he would probably just say ‘congratulations’ expressionlessly.

       What a bore.

Anyway, the result was already set, so there was no rush; waiting a bit would make him appear more composed.

Chu Yunhan was in a good mood and returned to Qinglan Villa. As soon as he entered the door, he picked up the chubby Auntie Song and spun her around three times.

“Oh, Young Master, put me down quickly, I’m almost dizzy.” Auntie Song patted his shoulder in annoyance and said, “Why are you so happy today?”

“My department store held a store celebration and made more than eight points more than last year in one breath. Isn’t it amazing?”

“Amazing.” Aunt Song didn’t know what the eight points were, but she roughly knew that he would make money, and she was happy in her heart. But when she saw his haggard look, she felt distressed again and couldn’t help nagging, “Look at you, This hair, this beard… Oh my, your eyes are like those of a panda. How many nights have you stayed up? I’ll make you some wolfberry, lotus seed and white fungus soup. You can have a little after taking a bath, and then go to have a good sleep… “

Chu Yunhan grinned and said, “Okay.”

Seeing him go upstairs, Auntie Song couldn’t help but sigh, “I haven’t seen him so happy for a long time. He used to like to joke with us like this. Oh dear, if the Master knew that he was so capable, he would definitely be very happy.”

Feng Tai, on the side, couldn’t help but feel emotional at the scene and sighed, “As long as Young Master is happy.”

It was a sweet sleep, and he didn’t even have any dreams. Early the next morning, Chu Yunhan rushed excitedly to the old house. Unexpectedly, Chu Yichen left him in the study room, and he waited for more than an hour. The initial excitement turned into frustration while waiting. Chu Yunhan couldn’t help but want to go upstairs to find him but was blocked by Bai Xiao standing by the door.

“What does this mean?” He frowned.

“Young Master has asked you to wait for him here.”

He lifted his wrist to reveal his watch, “I’ve been waiting here for almost an hour and a half. Where is he?”

“Young Master Yun, if you don’t have the patience to wait, you might as well come back another day.”

“Bai Xiao.” Chu Yunhan’s expression darkened, “If you feel unhappy that I hit you last time, you can hit me back. Stop putting on airs and throwing me attitude.”

“Young Master Yun must be joking. How dare I.” Bai Xiao looked at him and said coldly, “You should know very well that the only reason you succeeded then was because I wasn’t on guard. You’ve never tasted the pain of being hurt by someone you’re supposed to protect because you’ve always been the one causing harm. But remember this: your reckless, wanton behaviour can only hurt those who don’t expect it from you.”

“I don’t need you to lecture me.”

“Of course, you don’t need to.” Bai Xiao raised the corners of his lips a bit mockingly, “I’m just a dog, so I’m not qualified to preach to you. I just need to keep an eye on this door.”

Seeing the other party acting like this, Chu Yunhan said angrily, “Get out of my way!”

The two were in a stalemate when a voice sounded outside the door.

       “Bai Xiao.”

“Young Master…” Bai Xiao turned around and saw Chu Yichen, a look of concern appearing on his face. His gaze immediately shifted to Hei Yu, who was standing beside Chu Yichen. Hei Yu frowned slightly and gave a subtle nod. Bai Xiao stepped aside helplessly and opened the door.

Chu Yichen walked into the study and sat down on the sofa near the door. He seemed very tired, and his face was without colour. He looked at Chu Yunhan for a while and said, “Congratulations, you are free.”

Unexpectedly, he was so straightforward. Chu Yunhan held the financial statement in his hand and suddenly felt at a loss. He coughed awkwardly and said, “Then I… will leave first.” When he walked to the door, he heard the man say softly, “Chu Yunhan.”

       He turned around.

Among the huge walls of books surrounded on three sides, Chu Yichen sat on the sofa and looked sideways at himself. The sunlight casts in the mottled shadows of the trees from the window behind him, and the light and shadow divide the handsome face into two sides with different light and dark sides, one gentle and the other gloomy. Those black eyes seemed to be filled with misty night, and they seemed to be hidden in the shadow of the moon in the drifting clouds, making it difficult to distinguish. The man looked at him deeply, and after a long time, he spoke again, “All properties under your name will be under your control from now on. I will have all the information sent to Qinglan Mansion later.”

He felt surprised, pursed his lips, and said, ‘Oh’. He then asked, “Is there anything else?”

“Let Bai Yang follow you. He will be yours from now on.” The man seemed tired, sitting on the back of the sofa, slowly closing his eyes. “Now go.”

Chu Yunhan walked slowly out of the door and looked back. Bai Xiao had closed the door to the study room. He paused for a moment and walked out.

“Young Master Yun, where are you going next?” Bai Yang asked, opening the car door for him.

He was stunned for a while and then said, “Go see my mother.”

The car slowly drove away from the Chu family’s old residence. He watched the familiar scenery passing by the car window, feeling mixed emotions in his heart.

       He won.

He finally got rid of Chu Yichen.

From then on, he was still the glorious Young Master of the Chu family.

But why was the joy in his heart not as strong as he expected?

Chu Yichen took away everything from him, forced him to submit with horrific methods, and even almost forced him to death.

But why was the hatred in his heart not as strong as he expected?

When he was about to leave, when he was finally free, and when he was looking at that man, what were these indescribable feelings stirring inside? It was as if something weighed heavily on his chest, making each breath feel stifled and uncomfortable.

Maybe he had Stockholm Syndrome? Chu Yunhan shook his head vigorously and took out his mobile phone with some irritability to broadcast, “It’s me, where are you guys playing tonight, count me in.”

It didn’t matter if he was in a bad mood. He just needed to have some fun.

After visiting his mother in a nursing home, Chu Yunhan, dressed casually, finally returned to his long-lost nightlife.

Loud music, swaying lights, wildly twisting bodies on the dance floor, all the unpleasantness was evaporated in the excitement and alcohol. Chu Yunhan had not been so free and unrestrained for a long time. He lazily leaned on the leather sofa in the VIP room and slowly drank the wine from the glass.

“How come Eldest Young Master Yun has time to fool around with us today? Isn’t that department store going bankrupt because of you?” Lu Yao, who was sitting opposite him, said with a smile.

“It didn’t close down, and I heard that the profits of the Golden Prosperity store increased a lot during its anniversary. Yesterday, my dad used him as an example to criticise me. He said that the mall I had been in for so many years was not as good as the Eldest Young Master Chu’s, which was there only for three months .” Zhang Fei put his legs on the coffee table and swayed.

“Tsk, tsk, our Young Master Yun is really amazing.” Zhou Hua gestured with his thumb and said in a high-pitched voice, “I’m almost falling in love with you.”

The other two burst into laughter.

“Go away.” Chu Yunhan smiled. He kicked him, and said, “Remember to call me when you go out to play in the future.” After pausing, he added, “Also, I’ve taken over a few businesses, so let me know if there’s any profitable news.”

Lu Yao said, “Hey, are you going to work seriously now? Honestly, did your iceberg cousin force you to do it?”

“There’s no need to mention him..” Chu Yunhan glanced at him, “I’m here to have fun today. What’s so fun about him?”

Zhou Hua looked at his phone and grinned, “I know you were busy some time ago, and I was afraid that you would get bored, so I specially called a few girls to come over to help with the fun. Do you still remember that Nuannuan?” Seeing his not-remembering-look, he reminded, “The model with big breasts and big butt, sexy as hell, and a baby face… Hey, that’s the one you took out for the night, gave her 20,000 yuan, and asked me to give the money back to you…”

“Oh.” Now that it was mentioned, he did vaguely remember.

“She became famous in an online drama a while ago, and her current net worth is not ordinary. I asked her several times but she never came. This time when I said you were here, she said she was free.” Zhou Hua looked at his phone, ” She said she would arrive in a short while and she would bring several young models from her company with her.”

“It seems there’s some mutual interest; it all depends on whether Young Master Yun is heartless or not.” Zhang Fei joked.

Chu Yunhan raised his lips and smiled but said nothing. He had indeed been in a state of high pressure and depression during this period. It would be nice to have a well-behaved girl to keep him company.

As the name suggests, Nuannuan1nuan means warm was very considerate, gentle and lovely. Once Chu Yunhan was released from the ban, he inevitably indulged and drank a little too much. He put his arms around her and entered the hotel’s dedicated suite. He was forced by Chu Yichen to accept a man before, and later, he was busy working in a department store. He had no time to find a woman to relieve his desire. Now, the other woman took the initiative to throw herself into his arms, making him feel hot all over.

He opened the door and kicked off his shoes, lifted the woman and threw her on the big bed, then pressed her on her. As their lips and tongues intertwined, they had already taken off each other’s clothes. After some rubbing and teasing foreplay, he straightened his waist and penetrated into the already her already wet place.

Nuannuan groaned and exasperatingly said, “Young Master Yun, be gentle. It hurts.”

Chu Yunhan spread her white legs and used his full sexual organ to hit that tight and soft place without any gentleness. The friction ignited the pleasure, but as the movements deepened and desire surged, an unbearable feeling of emptiness lingered like maggots on the tarsal bones.

       Not enough…

His body was clamouring for something more intense and exciting…

He sped up his movements as roughly as a trapped animal. Nuannuan changed from moaning to crying under his merciless impact and finally couldn’t help but struggle hard. He had to slow down and lean forward to kiss and caress the woman’s tender body again.

Then, Chu Yunhan discovered another terrible obstacle in his body.

He was unable to ejaculate naturally.

Whenever he was about to ejaculate, his body suddenly began to restrain itself and forcefully endure the gushing desire. This back-and-forth sexual intercourse eventually became a form of torture for both men and women. Just when he couldn’t release his orga-m for the third time, he screamed with red eyes, punched the bed hard, then rolled out of bed, rushed into the bathroom, and slammed the door.

The cold water fell from his head, removing the heat from his body.

He raised his face and leaned against the wall tremblingly.

Chu Yichen, you turned me into a monster.

       You win.

Chapter 76

Zhan Weiyang had been hiding under his own quilt, refusing to come out.

Zhan Weiguang remained silent for a while and then said to him through the quilt, “Yangyang, don’t be silly. I’m your only brother. Pei Qing is hurting you. Do you understand?”

If Zhan Weiyang hadn’t heard Pei Qing’s name, he would have ignored Zhan Weiguang, but at this moment, he couldn’t help but say, “He didn’t! You don’t understand; you don’t know how much I like him!”

Zhan Weiguang frowned, “No matter how much you like him, he can’t kiss your lips; that’s what lovers do.”

Zhan Weiyang said, “We are lovers!”

Zhan Weiguang asked, “Do you know what lovers mean? You are a boy; you want to fall in love with a girl.”

Zhan Weiyang said loudly,”I just like Pei Qing. Why should I fall in love with a girl?”

       Zhan Weiguang felt a headache.

At this moment, Zhan Weiyang’s mobile phone that he threw on the bedside table suddenly rang.

Zhan Weiyang stretched out a hand from under the quilt, groping for his cell phone, and Zhan Weiguang leaned over to take a look and found that it was Pei Qing who called. He was furious and grabbed Zhan Weiyang’s cell phone and answered it.

       He shouted viciously, “Pei Qing!”

Pei Qing was still at the airport, and they were waiting to pick up the checked luggage; he stood alone in the corner and called Zhan Weiyang. As soon as he answered the phone, he heard Zhan Weiguang’s voice.

Even though Zhan Weiyang was so angry, Pei Qing’s tone remained very calm. He said, “Weiguang?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “Pei Qing, are you a human being? Isn’t our family good enough to you? You dare to bully my brother!”

Pei Qing asked, “What did Zhan Xueqing say to you?” He didn’t know how much Zhan Xueqing said in her message to Zhan Weiguang.

Zhan Weiguang angrily questioned, “What else did you do? Do you think that I won’t call the police? You molested a minor!”

Pei Qing stood against the wall. After hearing this, he was silent for two seconds and said to Zhan Weiguang, “Can you calm down? I didn’t do anything to Yangyang, let alone molest him.”

Zhan Weiguang roared, “Why are you pretending? Zhan Weiyang has admitted that you kissed him!”

At this time, Pei Qing suddenly heard Zhan Weiyang’s voice coming from the other side of the microphone as if anxiously saying from a distance, “Give me back my phone.”

Zhan Weiyang was trying to grab the phone from Zhan Weiguang, and he said angrily, “You are not allowed to say that!”

Pei Qing said to Zhan Weiguang, “Can you give the phone to Yangyang first, I’ll have a few words with him.”

But Zhan Weiguang could no longer hear Pei Qing’s words. He was pressed on the bed by Zhan Weiyang. In order to prevent Zhan Weiyang from grabbing the phone, he stretched the hand holding the phone far away.

In order to grab the phone, Zhan Weiyang bent his knees and knelt on Zhan Weiguang’s stomach.

Zhan Weiguang cried out in pain, “fvck! Are you trying to murder your own brother?!”

Zhan Weiyang pressed him and crawled over to grab his phone. Before he could grab it, he hurriedly shouted, “Qing ge.”

Zhan Weiguang grabbed Zhan Weiyang’s leg, which was still pressing on his stomach and lifted it up. As a result, Zhan Weiyang’s hand slipped, and the phone he had just grabbed was accidentally thrown out. It hit the wall hard and then bounced to the ground with a ‘click’.

Zhan Weiyang didn’t even bother to put on his shoes. He jumped off the bed to pick up the phone. When he picked it up, he found that the screen was broken, and the entire touch screen had no response. He hurriedly put the phone close to his ear and heard that the call was disconnected.

Zhan Weiguang rubbed his stomach, climbed up, and took a breath.

Zhan Weiyang glared at him, “My phone is broken!”

Zhan Weiguang said, “You threw it on the ground yourself.” His stomach was hurting, and his breath was not stable.

Zhan Weiyang said angrily, “I’m going to call Qing ge!”

Zhan Weiguang was also angry, “You are not allowed to contact him again in the future!”

Zhan Weiyang grabbed his broken phone and turned to run outside, passing through the corridor and down the stairs to the first floor.

At this time, Zhan Xiusong was eating breakfast in the dining room. In fact, strictly speaking, it was almost noon, but it was still breakfast for him.

He saw Zhan Weiyang in pyjamas, with messy hair and bare feet, and asked in a daze, “What are you doing?”

Zhan Weiyang looked around anxiously and saw Auntie Luo coming out of the kitchen. He ran over and asked Auntie Luo, “Auntie Luo, can you lend me your phone?”

Auntie Luo took her phone out of her pocket and handed it to Zhan Weiyang, wondering, “What’s wrong? Where’s your phone?”

Zhan Weiyang shook her phone and said, “It’s broken.”

Auntie Luo asked him, “Who are you going to call?”

       Zhan Weiyang said, “Qing ge.”

“Pei Qing…” Auntie Luo said, “I don’t have his phone number saved.”

Zhan Xiusong took the initiative to say, “I have it, I have it.” As he spoke, he took out his phone, found Pei Qing’s phone number and read it to Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiyang heard it and hurriedly entered the number and dialled it. Then he looked up and saw Zhan Weiguang coming down, so he took the phone and hid in Grandma’s room.

“Zhan Weiyang!” Zhan Weiguang walked towards him.

Grandma was watching TV in the living room. There was no one in the room. Zhan Weiyang went in and locked the door. He heard Zhan Weiguang knocking on the door but ignored him. He hid in the corner of the room and squatted down, letting the bed block him and the door.

Because it was an unfamiliar number, the phone rang for a long time before Pei Qing answered it.

Zhan Weiyang shouted crisply, “Qing ge!”

       Pei Qing responded softly, “Yangyang?”

They were on their way home from the airport. Pei Jingrong called the driver to pick them up. It was a business car.

Pei Qing and Zhan Xueqing were still sitting in the back row. When they heard Pei Qing answering the phone, Zhan Xueqing turned his head and looked at him.

In fact, at this time, not only Zhan Xueqing but also Zhan Yingfei in the front row turned his head and looked at him.

Pei Qing continued, “What happened just now?”

Zhan Weiyang felt aggrieved, “Zhan Weiguang broke my phone.”

Pei Qing asked, “Did he fight with you?” Her tone was unconsciously a little worried.

Zhan Weiyang said, “No, he just snatched my phone.”

Pei Qing said, “It doesn’t matter. Just get your phone fixed if it’s broken, and don’t fight him or quarrel with him.”

       Zhan Weiyang said, “I didn’t.”

Pei Qing was about to continue talking when Zhan Yingfei asked him, “Is that Yangyang?”

He nodded, then asked Zhan Weiyang, “Did you take your medicine today?”

Zhan Weiyang suddenly remembered, “Ah, I forgot.”

Pei Qing said to him, “Then go take your medicine first, I’ll call you later.” Then he remembered that Zhan Weiyang’s phone was broken, so he asked, “Whose phone is this?”

       Zhan Weiyang answered, “Auntie Luo’s.”

Pei Qing said, “Okay, then I’ll let Auntie Luo call you, you go take your medicine first.”

Pei Qing then hung up the phone, and when he looked up, he saw Pei Jingrong also turned his head to look at him.

Pei Jingrong asked, “Do you get along well with Zhan Weiyang?”

       Pei Qing replied, “Very well.”

Pei Jingrong said, “It’s rare to see you so patient with a child.”

       Pei Qing didn’t say anything.

Zhan Yingfei smiled and said, “That means you don’t know your son at all. Pei Qing is actually very careful. Yangyang is special and needs more patience to get along with him.”

Pei Jingrong didn’t say anything after hearing this.

Zhan Yingfei smiled and said to Pei Qing, “My eldest brother also said that Yangyang caused you a lot of trouble when he was not at home. Thank you for taking care of Yangyang for so long.”

Pei Qing was silent for a while and said, “We are all family. What’s the point of saying thank you, Auntie?”

Zhan Yingfei smiled and said, “Yes, Yangyang is also your younger brother. He has been ill since he was a child. If he often looks for you in the future, I hope you’ll be patient with him.”

Pei Qing quietly replied, “I will.”

Chapter 22

It was getting late, and Chu Yichen was leaving a social gathering. After getting in the car, he received a report from Bai Xiao.

“Eldest Young Master just went to Lihao because of a dispute with an escort. According to the investigation, her name is Lan Xin. She is 38 years old and lives with her five-year-old daughter. Her husband has a gambling addiction, with several debts at a lending company and some external debts as well. She often physically abuses the mother and daughter and demands money from them. This time, Lan Xin was forced to try to borrow money from a customer. When the customer got angry, she was beaten. Eldest Young Master stopped him. After that, the Eldest Young Master ordered Bai Yang to mobilise some people from the East District to give Lan Xin’s husband a lesson, and…” He paused awkwardly and saw the man looking up at him, so he had to continue. He said, “And brought Lan Xin and her daughter back to Qinglan’s mansion.”

Chu Yichen was slightly startled when he heard the words Qinglan Mansion. His handsome face looked a bit lonely under the flickering light outside the car window. He seemed a little tired. He leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes. No emotion could be heard in his tone.

       “Let him be.”

How long had it been since he had been back here?

Chu Yunhan got out of the car and looked at the European-style building before him, feeling a little sad. Since his father’s death, and after his mother couldn’t bear the blow and was sent to a nursing home due to her mental issues, he rarely returned to this place called ‘home’.

At first, he lived in an apartment under his name, but later, he spent his time in hotels or vacation villas, and days went by like that. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to come back; it was just that every time he stepped in here and saw those familiar faces and things, he couldn’t help but remember the happy days from the past, which only made him even more uncomfortable when he was alone.

After getting the news, the old housekeeper, Feng Tai, who was waiting at the door, saw him. His eyes were a little moist, and he said, “Young Master, you are back.”

“Yeah.” He laughed, “Uncle Feng, you should wear a bit more at night. It’s not good to be so concerned about your appearance.” As he walked inside, he continued, “You missed me, didn’t you?”

“Yes, we all miss you very much.” Feng Tai’s voice was choked with sobs. He watched Chu Yunhan grow up and also watched him encounter changes in his parents. Although they had a master-servant relationship in terms of status, he always treated Yunhan as his son emotionally. He understood why Yunhan didn’t come back, and he was willing to wait here for him to come back.

“Young Master is back?!” A mellow female voice rang out. The fair and plump woman hurried out in a coat. When she saw Chu Yunhan, she cried with joy and complained, “Young Master, how can you leave this family and leave us alone?!” and simultaneously asked, “Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? I’ll cook it for you.” When she caught sight of Lan Xin and her daughter following behind, she paused for a moment, her eyes lighting up, “Young Master, this child isn’t…?”

“Auntie Song, she is my friend.” Chu Yunhan knew she was thinking the wrong way again. He couldn’t laugh or cry. He touched his stomach and said, “I’m really hungry. Make us something delicious, okay?”

“Okay, okay.” The round, plump woman, disappointed after her failed attempt at gossip, went off to cook.

Over there, Feng Tai had already made tea and brought it over, and he didn’t forget to prepare some biscuits for Yuanyuan. Lan Xin thanked him repeatedly, and the thin Yuanyuan stared timidly at the cookie jar in his hand, not daring to take it. She was only five years old and did not yet understand the complex world of adults. She only knew that her father was easily angry and would hit her when he was angry, so she did not dare to do anything, not even to call him ‘Daddy’. Her mother was often beaten and would always cry while hugging herself. Her mother also had to make money to support herself. She worked very late and was very tired, so she couldn’t ask for this or that.

Seeing this, Chu Yunhan knelt down, took a biscuit and threw it into his mouth, then handed it to her, grinning, “It tastes good. Try it?”

Yuanyuan’s big eyes stared closely at Chu Yunhan in front of him. She remembered that this uncle had just come to the house with many people dressed in black and then said, “Don’t do anything in front of the child.” Then, the men in black dragged her drunk father out. She didn’t ask where her father was, and her mother didn’t tell her. Her mother only told her that this uncle’s surname was Chu and that he would protect them. This uncle was different from my father—he was very beautiful, very clean, and spoke very softly. He even asked someone to find warm clothes for her to wear so for her he wasn’t scary.

“You really don’t want it? Then I’ll take it.” Chu Yunhan shook the jar.

Yuanyuan bit her lip and mustered up the courage to reach over and take a piece. He kept looking at the other person’s face the whole time, like a wary little animal.

Chu Yunhan didn’t move and kept smiling at her.

She finally put the cookie into her mouth, took a bite, and mumbled a thank you.

       “Is it delicious?” he asked.

       She nodded.

“It’s all for you.” He handed over the jar. Yuanyuan looked up at Lan Xin, somewhat surprised. Lan Xin’s eyes were red as she said, “Just take it.” Only then did the little girl accept the jar, immediately expressing her thanks.

“You should let her go to kindergarten and spend more time with her.” Chu Yunhan stood up and said to Lan Xin.

“I saved money before and wanted her to go, but then…” She thought of her husband, who was worse than a beast. Filled with both hatred and guilt towards her daughter, she couldn’t continue speaking.

“I will take care of Yuanyuan’s tuition. Your husband should not cause trouble again in the future. You can live here for the time being. Don’t go to Lihao anymore. Uncle Feng will arrange a job here for you. Cleaning or helping in the kitchen will not be very tiring. The salary will be higher than before, and you can spend more time with Yuanyuan. If you don’t want to work here, I can ask someone to find another job for you.”

Lan Xin’s tears rolled down, and she choked up, “I want to. I want to… I don’t know how to thank you anymore. Really, I really… thank you…”

“Why are you crying again?” He laughed helplessly and said jokingly, “I remember you always said that you were a tigress. Tigress don’t cry so easily.”

She couldn’t help but smile and wipe away her tears. In a harsh living environment, she was accustomed to being covered in armour and struggling alone. Only when she had a solid shoulder to rely on did she reveal the softest side of a woman.

Lan Xin understood that Chu Yunhan was just repaying the favour she had done for helping him. These things might not be worth mentioning to Chu Yunhan, but to her, this man pulled her and Yuanyuan out of the mire and saved their lives. Starting tomorrow, everything will be different.

After settling the mother and daughter, Chu Yunhan happily drank the seafood porridge made by Auntie Song and took a shower. It was already midnight. He lay down in his room and looked at the family photo placed by the bedside. His fingers brushed over the old man’s smile and his parents’ faces little by little, with a gentle light in his eyes. His eyes slowly turned to his high-spirited self, smiled, and finally stopped on the face of Chu Yichen standing aside.

He still remembered the day the photo was taken. The elders were laughing and talking, and the children were playing. He stood between them and secretly stretched out his fingers behind Chu Yichen and Chu Minran’s heads to make bunny ears while taking pictures. His father scolded him.

Sure enough, he would always recall the past in this house and smile bitterly. After experiencing betrayal, escape, detention, struggle, r4p3 and suicide, looking back at old photos and thinking of the close companionship when he was young, it felt like a lifetime ago.

In the still photo, young Chu Yichen looked at him silently with his black eyes. Chu Yunhan suddenly felt a little upset and placed the photo frame face down on the bedside table.

I’m almost there. With just a little more effort, I can get rid of this person.

He covered his head with the quilt and fell asleep.

Lan Xin and her daughter were left in the care of Feng Tai, which made Chu Yunhan feel at ease. The next morning, he went to work with renewed energy. He needed to focus all his efforts on winning the tough battle to increase sales by eight percent. As the store’s anniversary week approached, he became busier, spending all day in the office. Unfortunately, the closer he got to the critical moment, the more problems arose, like a student about to enter an exam room suddenly realising they forgot to bring an eraser or that their pen was out of ink. Though these were minor issues, they kept his nerves on edge.

A few days later, the anxious student Chu Yunhan finally faced this major test. The seven days of the anniversary week felt like the shortest seven days of his life. Although they extended the operating hours by four hours each day, it still didn’t feel like enough.

He did not have high hopes for an increase in offline sales. He only hoped to remain relatively flat, focusing mainly on online sales. Since the store’s opening, Chu Yunhan, who was closely focused on the backend data of the website, had hardly had much rest. He drank one cup after another of coffee. After three days, he almost fell into a strange state of confusion and excitement, with dark circles under his eyes. With stubble on his face and messy hair, Bai Yang forced him into the office restroom and finally fell asleep.

In a daze, he felt someone sitting down next to him and gently stroking his hair. The warm touch was a little familiar, and the light fragrance in his nose was also a little familiar. He wanted to avoid that hand, but he didn’t have much strength. He couldn’t even open his eyes to see who it was. So he could only drift off into one strange and bizarre dream after another. It was an uneasy sleep, and he woke up an hour later. No one was around him except for a thermos bucket on the table containing fragrant wild ginseng and chicken soup.

Chu Yunhan took a sip and asked Bai Yang, “Where did the soup come from?”

“Auntie Song made it and had it delivered.”

He stared at Bai Yang for a while without saying anything. Then he lowered his head, finished the soup, and said, “Tell her not to bring it again.”

       “Yes.”

He had always had a discerning palate and was very sensitive to the flavours of food. This soup had been on the bland side, with a light flavour and soft chicken, not made by Aunt Song. He had tasted this kind of chicken soup before.

In the Chu family’s old house, it was Auntie Wang’s work.

Who brought the chicken soup? Who was the person in the dream just now that he couldn’t see clearly?

Since the other party wanted to hide it, he didn’t want to reveal it.

Chu Yichen, you came to see if I can win, right?

Chapter 23

Jiang Tongyan’s Chinese language skills were indeed lacking, but even he knew what ‘a father’s love is as steady as a mountain’ meant.

Not only did he understand ‘a father’s love is as steady as a mountain’, but he also knew the phrase ‘the more you try to cover up, the more obvious it is’.

“Don’t try to cover it up and make it worse.” Jiang Tongyan said, “Qian Xiaoke, just you wait. One day, I’ll shut your mouth myself.”

Qian Xiaoke pursed his lips subconsciously and fell silent.

The two of them remained in a stalemate for a while. Qian Xiaoke felt that this couldn’t continue—he couldn’t just waste an entire afternoon without getting anything done, could he?

“Are we still going to continue this?” Qian Xiaoke asked, “If we’re not continuing today, I’ll go back first.”

He felt a little guilty and said tentatively, “I have to take the receipt back for reimbursement.”

The main thing was the receipt.

Other things can be discussed later. The most urgent thing is to take receipt back for reimbursement. Although buying a phone for Jiang Tongyan was technically a temporary expense on behalf of the company, even so, he didn’t feel at ease about it.

If the money wasn’t in his own pocket, his heart just was not at ease.

But Jiang Tongyan wasn’t like Qian Xiaoke. Having grown up accustomed to wealth, he didn’t think much of covering expenses for the company. It wasn’t a big deal in his eyes—it would be reimbursed sooner or later, so what was the rush? For him, the real focus was, ‘Are we still going to continue this?’

Are we still going to continue this?

Jiang Tongyan just wanted to sew Qian Xiaoke’s mouth shut, but now his ears had turned red.

It was really embarrassing. A proper, rich, and handsome man being flustered by a little rascal like this—how shameful.

If word got out, he’d probably be laughed at.

Qian Xiaoke saw that he didn’t respond and was a little anxious. He moved forward, “Chairman Jiang…”

His tone was soft and his voice was faint, as if he was afraid of startling Jiang Tongyan.

Qian Xiaoke was afraid of startling him, afraid that this obviously absent-minded person would be jolted back to reality, get angry, and then he would have to coax him again.

       So exhausting.

Qian Xiaoke, a corporate slave, felt that this field trip was really a bit deadly.

“Chairman Jiang…” Qian Xiaoke’s faint voice floated into Jiang Tongyan’s ears, soft and gentle that it seemed infused with affection.

Jiang Tongyan turned to look at Qian Xiaoke and suddenly felt that in addition to the sound of the other party calling his name, he seemed to hear the sound of drums.

After a few seconds, he realised that it was not a drum sound at all but his heartbeat.

Jiang Tongyan was unwilling to admit that he was seduced by Qian Xiaoke. It was too shameful; it made him feel blind.

Just a while ago, on the day he first ran into Qian Xiaoke, Jiang Tongyan had been on a blind date. Zhou Mo had introduced him to a man, a flight attendant who matched Jiang Tongyan’s ideal partner criteria in every way, from looks to temperament to personality. It was as if the man had been born for him.

       What was the word again?

       Tailor-made.

The moment he saw the other person, Jiang Tongyan really thought it was God’s arrangement. Didn’t they say that if God wants to give a man a great task, he must first make him suffer? He felt that he had failed in so many relationships before and had been intercepted by Shen Huiming so many times, all for this encounter.

       What was that person’s name?

       Suo who?

He couldn’t remember, anyway, Jiang Tongyan liked him very much.

In the end, because of Qian Xiaoke, he lost everything.

That day, his nemesis Shen Huiming, had also been there. Originally, Jiang Tongyan should have left with the Suo-surnamed flight attendant. They might’ve gone for a walk, had a drink, and possibly even defined their relationship. But then Qian Xiaoke stumbled drunkenly into the scene, clinging to Jiang Tongyan and refusing to let go. Jiang Tongyan couldn’t shake him off and had to watch as Shen Huiming left with the flight attendant instead.

How could he not resent him?

In his opinion, his other half should be like that flight attendant, a high-class beauty with outstanding temperament, not this Qian Xiaoke who…

Jiang Tongyan frowned and looked at him, searching his mind, but couldn’t think of a suitable word to describe him.

However, the truth was this, and the reality was another version of the unfolding.

Destiny is always elusive, and the thing called ‘love’ contained in destiny? Don’t even try to figure it out.

Jiang Tongyan did not intend to define his heartbeat for Qian Xiaoke as ‘love’ at this moment. He got goosebumps all over his body just thinking about it. He figured that, as tasty as spicy hotpot might be, he’d still probably choose a Western restaurant

“Chairman Jiang, how about… let’s continue tomorrow.” Qian Xiaoke looked at the time and was a little anxious.

He had to get back to the company before getting off work otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to claim reimbursement for those thousands of yuan today.

The longer this dragged on, the more risks there were. If he couldn’t file for reimbursement today, he’d probably lose sleep over it tonight.

Qian Xiaoke was leaving. Jiang Tongyan should be happy, but he glared at him, “You want to run away?”

Qian Xiaoke was startled, and thought: What’s this now? Who told me to leave quickly just now?

“This can’t be called running away,” Qian Xiaoke smiled and was willing to sell his soul for the receipt, “Chairman Jiang, we call it another time.”

Jiang Tongyan was unhappy. Ever since he’d met Qian Xiaoke, he’d had bouts of irritation now and then.

“Aren’t you going to treat me? I’m not even hard yet, and you want to leave?” Jiang Tongyan poked his eyebrows with his finger, “You said you were responsible for me. I think you are a scumbag who says one thing and does another!”

Qian Xiaoke, who was suddenly labelled as a ‘scumbag’, didn’t know why he was secretly happy. Although it seemed very unreasonable at first glance for Qian Xiaoke, who read a little too many novels, most of the ‘scumbags’ in BL novels were still followed by the following labels—handsome, and have lots of admirers.

“…What are you smiling for?” Jiang Tongyan thought Qian Xiaoke might be the one who should see a psychiatrist.

No, not a psychiatrist. He should go directly to the psychiatric department; this person was obviously mentally unstable.

“Nothing, I wasn’t smiling.” Qian Xiaoke said, “I am a kind-hearted doctor. I will massage you for another ten minutes.”

He glanced at the time again, “Chairman Jiang, I really have something to do today, and we will stop here for another ten minutes of massage today.”

As he spoke, he reached out and shook his hand again.

“I’ve been thinking about it. There’s no need to stress if today’s treatment doesn’t work,” Qian Xiaoke said as if it was a serious matter. “This kind of massage is different from other kinds. A proper treatment requires skillful techniques. I’ll go home tonight and study more. Maybe tomorrow you’ll feel better.”

Jiang Tongyan listened to him talking nonsense with an unhappy face, raised his hand and pulled his hair, “What kind of massage is it?”

       Qian Xiaoke smiled, “That kind!”

He raised his eyebrows, and his smile was mixed with a little bit of vulgarity, “The erotic kind.”

       Jiang Tongyan: “…”

Qian Xiaoke thought he didn’t understand and continued to explain, “It’s just like what happened between us before. Before you became impotent, didn’t I touch you?”

       Again with this!

Jiang Tongyan was really angry. He stood up and flipped Qian Xiaoke to the ground.

Qian Xiaoke hadn’t reacted yet, so Jiang Tongyan grabbed his wrist, bent down, and lifted him up.

Qian Xiaoke was shocked. He had never been carried like a princess before. Suddenly, his cheeks flushed, and he felt a little shy.

He put his arms around Jiang Tongyan’s neck and said shyly, “Hey, Chairman Jiang, what are you doing?”

After asking, he suddenly felt a little regretful. It was really sad that Jiang Tongyan, who had both good looks and good figures, couldn’t get it hard.

As his thoughts wandered, Jiang Tongyan had already thrown him on the bed.

The naked man Jiang Tongyan stood by the bed with cold eyes and said with gritted teeth, “Qian Xiaoke, adults should think about the consequences when they do things.”

       “Huh? What?”

“You pissed me off.” Jiang Tongyan said, “Didn’t you say I was weak? Today, I’ll let you see how hard gege can be!”

As he said that, Jiang Tongyan lifted his long legs and got on the bed.

Qian Xiaoke’s heartbeat accelerated, and his whole body was hot. He watched Jiang Tongyan, who pounced on him like a ferocious beast, and suddenly reminded the first time they had.

The first half of that time, anyway.

It was quite intense, exciting, and thrilling.

If someone else did this to him today, he would definitely kick the other person in the crotch. However, this person was Jiang Tongyan, and half of his virginity was already in the other person’s hands. He wished that this person could quickly take the other half.

Although he was not very satisfied with Jiang Tongyan’s soul, he still coveted what his c0ck got to offer.

Qian Xiaoke did not resist at all, ready to check how ‘hard’ gege could be.

       However…

Jiang Tongyan: “…Just leave. Let’s never see each other again.”

       It just…didn’t happen.

       Devastating.

Chapter 22

How should one describe this kind of feeling?

Jiang Tongyan’s grasp of Chinese wasn’t great, and after racking his brain, all he could come up with was: ‘subtle’.

As for what exactly made it subtle, it was something like fog, like rain, and yet like wind. Like a summer fireball or winter ice.

In short, it was a stimulus that could only be understood but could not be conveyed in words.

Qian Xiaoke, for his part, wasn’t particularly experienced in this kind of thing. Deep down, he was actually a reserved and conservative person—though hardly anyone would believe that if he said it out loud, he himself firmly believed it to be true.

Qian Xiaoke said, “I… it’s my first time…doing it with hands.”

Jiang Tongyan’s back was against the wall, and he dared not breathe. Yet, within seconds, he couldn’t help but start gasping heavily.

Qian Xiaoke said, “We’ll just get a feel for it now, then I’ll go back and study properly tonight, and we will start officially tomorrow.”

From the way he said it, anyone overhearing might think the two of them were about to do something serious and proper.

Qian Xiaoke touched him very hard, genuinely putting on the demeanour of treating a patient. He suddenly felt that if he really cured Jiang Tongyan one day, Jiang Tongyan should give him a banner with the words: ‘Miraculous Hands Restoring Life to the Lifeless’.

He really hoped that Jiang Tongyan could get better; otherwise, he would really feel bad.

As the two of them went through this process, Jiang Tongyan’s mind soared to a climax, but his body remained completely calm—so calm, in fact, that he even felt a little amused.

This feeling of being willing but unable to do anything was too maddening. Jiang Tongyan thought that before his body recovered, he might have to talk to a psychologist first.

Qian Xiaoke squatted there to touch him at first, but later, he felt his legs numb, so he just sat on the carpet.

In the beginning, Qian Xiaoke felt a bit shy about the whole thing. After all, he was quite pure-hearted, and touching someone like that really embarrassed him. His face instantly turned red when his fingers brushed over the area.

If something like this happened between two normal people, it might naturally lead to a fiery and indescribable event. However, when it came to these two people, even doing this kind of thing seemed particularly upright and righteous.

Qian Xiaoke was saving the dying and the wounded.

Jiang Tongyan was simply the injured patient who couldn’t get hard.

In contemporary society, where the doctor-patient relationship was so fraught, there would be no story between the two of them.

Qian Xiaoke was shy for a few minutes and then began to complain, “Why don’t you have any reaction at all?”

       Jiang Tongyan frowned.

Qian Xiaoke worked for a while and then began to complain again, “Can this work? My arm is a little sore.”

       Jiang Tongyan bit his lip.

Qian Xiaoke continued to work on him. But this time, he was obviously not as serious as before, lazy, and continued to complain, “Why is there no effect at all? Are you a man?”

Jiang Tongyan raised his hand and slapped Qian Xiaoke’s hand with a ‘slap’.

Qian Xiaoke’s hand was slapped red, and he felt a little wronged. Later, he realised that he was just a little bit rude, and he couldn’t blame others for this.

“Ahem,” Qian Xiaoke said, “Don’t be angry.”

Jiang Tongyan’s face turned blue, and he pulled the towel to cover himself, “Just go.”

He looked really weak, pitiful and helpless. The nearly 1.9-meter-tall man shrank into the corner of the room, and Qian Xiaoke actually saw the contrast endearing.

Qian Xiaoke: “I can’t just leave like this.”

I still hadn’t gotten what I came for.

Jiang Tongyan couldn’t hear his inner monologue. Jiang Tongyan assumed that Qian Xiaoke felt that the ‘treatment’ of his illness was ineffective, but he didn’t leave because of ‘man’s responsibility’.

“You don’t have to act so hypocritical here!” Jiang Tongyan looked up and glared at him, “I can see that you don’t want to cure me at all. You just want to humiliate me!”

Jiang Tongyan had lived for 30 years and was, after all, a favoured child of the heavens—a natural-born success. Wherever he went, he carried himself with an air of authority, like a true big shot. There were plenty of women and men who admired him—though, of course, the only people he had ever liked were those who liked Shen Huiming.

But no matter what, he, Jiang Tongyan, was also a decent person. He had never suffered such grievances, such crimes, and had never been humiliated like this since he was a child.

“Just go.” Jiang Tongyan said, “Let’s not meet again in the future, whether we are destined or not.”

       He was scared now.

If he couldn’t provoke the guy, the least he could do was avoid him.

Originally, Jiang Tongyan returned to China this time to finish the last project with Cheng Sen and discuss returning to China for work. He’d been prepared to accept Cheng Sen’s proposal to help out.

Of course, his decision to return to work in the country had absolutely nothing to do with Qian Xiaoke. It was entirely for the sake of taking care of his grandparents. He believed that filial piety comes first in life, and since his grandparents insisted on returning to their roots in their old age, he decided to come back to accompany and care for them. Otherwise, being so far away, he truly couldn’t feel at ease.

But now, because of Qian Xiaoke, he was on the verge of losing the will to live. For the time being, he could only let his grandparents down—this useless grandson of theirs had to make a run for it first.

Qian Xiaoke sat on the carpet and frowned.

“What’s that expression on your face?” Jiang Tongyan said to him unhappily, “Are you still feeling wronged?”

“No, not wronged.” Qian Xiaoke said, “I really don’t mean to humiliate you.”

Qian Xiaoke tried to make himself look more sincere, “I really want to solve this matter; otherwise, I can’t sleep well.”

“Yes, you should feel uneasy.” Jiang Tongyan glared at him, “Think about who made me like this? Even if I become a ghost in the future, I will not let you go.”

Run away now and come back as a ghost for revenge later.

Although Jiang Tongyan didn’t want to admit it, it was indeed a bit cowardly.

Qian Xiaoke, who was always optimistic, also felt a little depressed by him. He bent his knees, hugged his hands, and rested his chin on his knees with a grievance.

Jiang Tongyan looked at him sideways and said impatiently, “What’s that face for? Did I make you impotent or something?”

After Jiang Tongyan finished speaking, he curled his lips and muttered, “Not that it would make much difference if you were.”

“What are you talking about!” Qian Xiaoke glared at Jiang Tongyan, and his look was a little coquettish, “Don’t talk nonsense!”

       Jiang Tongyan sneered, “That’s right.”

“Don’t look down on me!” Qian Xiaoke looked at him viciously, “If you provoke me again, I will r4p3 you!”

Jiang Tongyan had been fuming, but the comment made him burst out laughing.

“What are you dreaming about?” Jiang Tongyan raised his hand and pulled Qian Xiaoke’s hair, “Hey, wake up!”

Qian Xiaoke tsked and grabbed Jiang Tongyan’s hand.

The two held hands together. Jiang Tongyan was stunned for a moment, but Qian Xiaoke didn’t think there was anything wrong.

Qian Xiaoke said, “Be serious. Do you want to be cured or not!”

Jiang Tongyan stared at their intertwined hand without saying anything.

“I swear, I’m not trying to humiliate you. It’s just… you need to get used to me,” Qian Xiaoke said, “I am a person who speaks like this, with a sharp tongue and a soft heart. My words might sting a bit, but deep down, I’m looking out for you.”

“For… me?” Jiang Tongyan didn’t know why his heart was beating a little faster, and his body was a little hot.

Qian Xiaoke said: “Yes, a father’s love is as steady as a mountain. Although this mountain may make you breathless, this is love.”

Jiang Tongyan, “…Qian Xiaoke, what did you just say?”

“Nothing.” Qian Xiaoke said, “I said, I can do it, you can do it too, I can get hard, you can definitely do it too!”

Chapter 75

Zhan Weiyang was still half asleep, and he looked down inexplicably, saying, “What are you doing?”

He was wearing nothing under his pyjamas, revealing a section of his white and clean waist and abdomen.

Zhan Weiguang pushed his pyjamas up a little higher, and seeing that his chest was still white without any trace, he grabbed his arm and asked him to turn around.

Zhan Weiyang was pushed down on the bed by Zhan Weiguang, and hurriedly used his arms to support his body and tried to get up, saying very unhappily, “What are you doing?”

Zhan Weiguang actually didn’t know what he was doing.

He had been sleeping late today and woke up about half an hour ago. When he woke up, he heard Zhan Xiusong snoring beside him.

He habitually reached out for his phone and saw that Zhan Xueqing had sent him a message, a message that was not too long, “Zhan Weiguang, on the night of the New Year, I saw Pei Qing kissing Zhan Weiyang, kissing his mouth.”

Zhan Weiguang jumped up from the bed at once, and he felt himself sweating. His first reaction was to call Zhan Xueqing, but the phone prompted that it was turned off. He was confused, and then he called Pei Qing again, but the phone still prompted that it was turned off.

He glanced at the time and realised that Pei Qing and Zhan Xueqing should be on the plane at this time.

Zhan Weiguang got up from the bed, put on his clothes and went downstairs directly.

He saw that Zhan Weiyang’s bedroom door was open, and the room was tidy. It should be Auntie Luo who went in to clean up early in the morning. Then he walked to Pei Qing’s room, reached out to turn the door lock and found that it was not locked, so he walked in directly.

The curtains in the room were closed, and Zhan Weiyang was curled up on his side, still wrapped in the quilt and sleeping soundly.

Zhan Weiguang wanted to wake him up for a moment, and he stretched out his hand. Hearing him humming softly while sleeping, he felt a little reluctant, so he sat down beside the bed.

On the other side of the bed, Pei Qing folded the quilt and put it on the pillow when she got up, but the bed sheet still showed signs of someone sleeping there.

Zhan Weiguang stared at the bed sheet for a while and then remembered the two short sentences in the message sent by Zhan Xueqing. He was furious when he thought that Pei Qing dared to bully Zhan Weiyang. However, after being angry, he suddenly panicked when he thought that Zhan Weiyang had been sleeping in the same bed with Pei Qing for such a long time. He thought, since Pei Qing dared to kiss his brother, would he have done more bad things that they didn’t know about?

Just when Zhan Weiguang was panicking, Zhan Weiyang woke up, and the first thing he said was, “Qing ge.”

Zhan Weiguang became even more angry and pulled Zhan Weiyang up to check his body. Zhan Weiguang himself had never been in a relationship, so of course he had no experience. Now he was so angry that he could only think of the plots in the messy online novels. He just wanted to know for sure whether his brother had been bullied.

Zhan Weiyang’s back was naturally clean without any marks.

Zhan Weiguang finally stopped. However, because his anger was so strong, he glared at Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiyang turned over and sat on the bed, also glaring at him angrily, “Zhan Weiguang, are you crazy?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “I have something to ask you.”

Zhan Weiyang was still angry, raised his hands to cover his ears, “I don’t want to listen.”

Zhan Weiguang reached out and grabbed his hand, pulling it away from his ear, “You must listen, and you must answer me. I asked you what Pei Qing did to you.”

Zhan Weiyang didn’t want to pay attention to him at first, but when he heard Pei Qing’s name, he couldn’t hold on and looked at Zhan Weiguang strangely, “What?”

Zhan Weiguang said, “What did you do to you? Did he kiss you?”

Zhan Weiyang’s round eyes widened a little, then avoided Zhan Weiguang’s sight and looked to the side, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

Zhan Weiguang instantly felt that all the hairs on his body stood up, and Zhan Weiyang’s reaction couldn’t be more obvious. He reached out and grabbed Zhan Weiyang’s arm. He then said fiercely, “Did he kiss you on the mouth?”

Zhan Weiyang suddenly panicked. He didn’t know whether he should answer Zhan Weiguang’s question. Pei Qing was not around at this time. His eyes flickered for a while, and he looked at Zhan Weiguang and whispered, “How did you know?”

Zhan Weiguang shouted angrily, “What else did he do to you?”

Zhan Weiyang didn’t expect him to yell at him suddenly. He was startled, retracted his hand, and shook his head blankly.

Zhan Weiguang stood up from the bed, stared at Zhan Weiyang, tried to suppress his temper and asked, “Did he take off your clothes? Did he touch you or hug you?”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him in horror.

Zhan Weiguang was anxious and angry. He reached out to grab Zhan Weiyang’s wrist and said, “You idiot, you don’t even realize when someone is taking advantage of you! Think carefully about whether he has ever touched you.”

Zhan Weiyang actually understood Zhan Weiguang’s meaning a little bit. After panicking, he also became angry. He shook Zhan Weiguang’s hand away and said, “You are the idiot!” He was so angry at Zhan Weiguang’s words that he felt his chest was blocked and couldn’t help but reach out and pat it to relieve his anger.

Zhan Weiguang didn’t really want to lose his temper at Zhan Weiyang. He just couldn’t control himself when he thought about what Pei Qing might have done to Zhan Weiyang. He regretted saying ‘idiot’. He stared at Zhan Weiyang for a long time, took a deep breath, squatted down beside the bed, tried to calm his tone, and asked, “Zhan Weiyang, I’m asking you seriously, this matter is very serious, do you understand?”

Zhan Weiyang’s eyes gradually turned red, and he said to him fiercely. “No!”

Zhan Weiguang asked. “What do you mean?”

       Zhan Weiyang said. “No!”

Zhan Weiguang was a little anxious and asked him. “Do you understand what I mean?”

Zhan Weiyang’s red eyes gradually became moist, and he said to Zhan Weiguang, “I don’t want to see you! I want Qing ge!”

Zhan Weiguang was a little stunned when he heard this.

Zhan Weiyang was already sad about Pei Qing’s departure, and now he was yelled at by Zhan Weiguang, which made him even sadder. He didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to Pei Qing in the morning and didn’t cry, but now he couldn’t help it anyway.

Also, although Zhan Weiyang didn’t express it clearly, he vaguely realised what Zhan Weiguang meant. In Zhan Weiguang’s eyes, if Pei Qing kissed or hugged him, it was bad and not allowed; just like when he was a child, his father would tell him not to let adults take off his pants or touch his little pp.

The negative emotion in Zhan Weiguang’s tone was too strong, making Zhan Weiyang extremely uncomfortable. Regardless of whether this negativity was directed at Pei Qing or him, Zhan Weiyang was very sad and angry.

Compared to Zhan Weiguang calling him an idiot, he was angrier that Zhan Weiguang had used such an attitude and tone to question Pei Qing’s behaviour.

Zhan Weiyang was very angry, his thin chest was constantly rising and falling violently. He lifted the quilt and got out of bed. He put on his slippers and remembered that Pei Qing had left. He didn’t even know where he was going to hide.

So he took off his shoes and got into bed again, pulled up the quilt to cover his head, and shrank into it.

Zhan Weiguang looked at him by the bed, reached out, pulled Zhan Weiyang’s quilt, and said, “Zhan Weiyang, come out.”

Zhan Weiyang tightly protected his quilt and hid inside without saying a word.

Zhan Weiguang had to sit down by the bed again. He lowered his voice and shouted, “Zhan Weiyang.”

       Zhan Weiyang ignored him.

After a while, Zhan Weiguang noticed that Zhan Weiyang, who was hiding in the quilt, was trembling slightly. He subconsciously reached out to lift the quilt, and his hand clenched the edge of the quilt, but he still couldn’t bear to let go.

The author has something to say:
I feel sorry for Yangyang as I write this.

Notes:
I really understand Weiguang’s feelings, having had a bit slow lil sister myself. I also flew into rage when I heard she was being bullied by her friends in the past, and was even angrier when I realised she hadn’t realised that she was being bullied. And instead of talking about it properly, all I did was get angry because she couldn’t understand that
It was a different case after all, but I hope the readers didn’t hate Weiguang so much because he really cares about Weiyang so much
