Chapter 36

Suo Yang found that Shen Huiming, who was playing games with the students, had a childish cuteness to him. He was very curious how Shen Huiming’s staff would react if they saw their boss here asking for praise like a schoolboy who had won a certificate.

Six people entered through the gap under the table and went straight to the corridor, where they got another part of the torn diary.

The corridor was glowing with an eerie green light, and there was no end in sight.

On one side of the narrow corridor were six photographs of the students, each photo with a corresponding name underneath.

“So, this is us?” A boy pointed to the obviously old photo on the wall and said, “Then this is Zhang Xiaohui who wants to kill us! It’s a girl!”

Suo Yang and Shen Huiming walked last, looked up and followed the direction he pointed, and found Zhang Xiaohui’s photo was facing a room with a sign by the door一Principal’s Office.

There was a gap in the door of the principal’s office, and it was pitch black inside. Looking through the gap, one couldn’t see anything. The boy in front of me was about to push the door in, and before he did so, he said, “There’s no one in there, is there?”

Probably this student just opened his mouth to say whatever. As soon as he finished speaking, the door opened, and he saw a person sitting behind the principal’s desk.

There were screams one after another, and Shen Hui Ming, who was at the end, subconsciously protected Suo Yang in front of him.

Suo Yang was actually not frightened by the people inside, because he was blocked by the people in front of him, so he couldn’t see what was going on inside. However, he was completely frightened by the cries of those people.

Shen Huiming turned sideways directly, half-protecting Suo Yang in his arms, and turned to look inside, wanting to confirm what was going on.

When Shen Huiming turned his head to look at Suo Yang, he happened to lock eyes with him. The two were about the same height, and they were still close at this moment, with the tips of their noses almost touching each other.

The two looked at each other for a few seconds, and Suo Yang asked softly, “What’s wrong?”

At this time, they heard the girl say, “What are you shouting for? That is just a dummy!”

When they heard her words, Suo Yang and Shen Huiming were taken aback, and then both laughed.

“It didn’t scare you, did it?” Shen Huiming stepped aside and followed everyone inside, but still protected Suo Yang behind him.

“Their scream startled me.” Suo Yang looked at Shen Huiming’s back and secretly smiled behind him.

Actually, Suo Yang never told Shen Huiming about one thing—when he was in elementary school, he watched horror movies alone at home in the middle of the night, and he didn’t feel scared at all.

This kind of scene setting really didn’t scare Suo Yang. If there was a real NPC in it, Suo Yang could even chat with the other party and directly set out the way to clear the level.

All these virtual things, whether it was a movie or a game, did not scare him. He was a flight attendant who must remain rational and calm in the cabin to appease the passengers and guide everyone to help themselves when he was in a real crisis.

They entered the principal’s office, and Suo Yang still stood with Shen Huiming all the time. The two who had never played the escape room had roughly found the way to pass the previous level and passed the next three rooms very smoothly. The torn diary had also been pieced together, and the overall context of the story had been fully restored. Normally, they should be able to go out.

But the problem was that several people were trapped in the corridor, and there was no door to get out.

“So that means the last level should be the corridor.” One of the boys said, “But there’s nothing in the corridor!”

One of the boys got a bit anxious and just picked up the walkie-talkie to get help from the shop assistant.

Suo Yang and Shen Huiming, who were originally pulled to make up the numbers, couldn’t express any opinions, but the boy who asked for help was ‘cleaned up’ by his teammates while calling the shop assistant.

However, in the end, it was only because they asked for help that they found a way through the level.

In the last level, there was no password to be cracked, but six people need to go back to the six rooms where they came back and wait there alone for the bell to ring after class before going out.

Two boys muttered fear in their mouths, but it was impossible to do it without being separated.

Six people walked back along the corridor, to the door of one room, and said goodbye to one person.

The scariest part of the set was the principal’s office with dummies and the laboratory with human organs. These two rooms naturally fell on the two ‘big brothers’.

Shen Huiming remembered that Suo Yang had some kind of reaction to the organ soaked in the bottle, so he asked himself to go there.

At the door of the principal’s office, only Suo Yang, Shen Huiming and the only girl were left.

Before he entered the door, Suo Yang exchanged glances with Shen Huiming, and said softly, “See you later.”

After he finished speaking, Shen Huiming shook Suo Yang’s hand suddenly.

The light was dim, but they had already adapted to the environment and could see each other clearly.

Shen Huiming smiled and said softly, “I’m right next door to you.”

Suo Yang also laughed, originally wanting to explain that he was not afraid, but in the end, he only said, “Okay.”

Shen Huiming watched Suo Yang walk into the principal’s office, and then followed the girl.

The girl asked him in a low voice, “Big brother, what’s the relationship between you two?”

Shen Huiming smiled, “Why do you ask that?”

“I think you have an unusual relationship.” The girl smiled slyly at him, “Straight men don’t have fun that way.”

They had already reached the laboratory as they were talking. Shen Huiming stopped, smiled and said to the girl, “Go ahead, if you’re scared, call me through the wall to talk with you.”

The girl waved her hand, “I’m very brave.”

She went in through the small door from when she came and went back to the first room, then bent down again, poked her head through and said with a smile, “You two are so good together!”

These words won Shen Huiming’s heart, and although Suo Yang might frown if he knew it, the other party was not here after all. Shen Huiming’s vanity secretly made him say to the girl, “The little girl has good eyesight, we are indeed a good match.”

All six people were already in place, each guarding an eerie room.

In the beginning, there was no sound, and then, the faint female voice sounded again and recounted the whole story. Finally, the female voice said sadly, “Class is over, and one person must stay with me after the bell.”

After she finished speaking, the ear-piercing bell rang, which was really uncomfortable to hear in a somewhat terrifying environment.

A full thirty seconds, Suo Yang had to admit, these thirty seconds were more difficult than the previous two hours.

By the time the bell ended, a door opened in the room where each person was.

Everyone went out separately, five of the six returned to the bright hall, but Suo Yang was the only one missing.

Shen Huiming frowned, remembering the female voice at the end saying that there would be only one person left.

The other people were a little panicked and asked if they wanted to go back and find someone.

Shen Huiming thought for a while and said, “He should be able to handle it.”

After finishing speaking, Shen Huiming walked around the outside and found a door that hadn’t been opened yet.

He stood there waiting, believing that Suo Yang would come out soon.

At this moment, Suo Yang entered another room, which was dark and had the appearance of a student dormitory.

He understood that he was the one who had been ‘left behind’.

He glanced at the time and thought that Shen Huiming should have gone out, and he was a little afraid that the other party would worry about him.

But they had handed over their mobile phones before they came in, so there was no way to contact them, so they had to get through the level as soon as possible and meet up with each other.

The last hurdle was left to Suo Yang alone.

Shen Huiming waited outside the door a little anxiously but he was too embarrassed to show too much anxiety. He glanced at the time and found that he had only waited for less than three minutes.

Those students had already taken their mobile phones and brought Shen Huiming and Suo Yang’s as well.

Shen Huiming stood there, clutching their mobile phones in their hands. Now the sky was bright outside, and the sunlight outside the window was even a bit dazzling, but he knew it was dark in the chamber. He really wanted to ask if Suo Yang would be scared inside alone.

Just as he was in a hurry, the door in front of him opened unexpectedly.

A boy next to him said, “So fast?”

Shen Huiming hurried forward, and before reaching the door, he saw Suo Yang poking his head out from inside.

At that time, Suo Yang was really cute, like a gopher who just came out of a hole in the ground, dazzled by the sun.

Suo Yang narrowed his eyes to look at the person in front of him, then smiled and said, “It’s over?”

“It’s over.” Shen Huiming stretched out his hand to pull him out, and found that Suo Yang was actually holding a small banner in his hand, “What is this?”

“Souvenir.” Suo Yang said with a helpless smile, “After I cracked the password it showed that this was a souvenir of passing the level, so I took it out.”

Shen Huiming watched him open the banner, which read: You are such a smart little one!

‘Smart little one’, Suo Yang and Shen Huiming looked at the banner together and laughed, Suo Yang said, “You can have this, take it back and hang it in your office.”

Although the original solo date turned into a multiplayer game because of these students, they spent more than two hours happily, just like the wedding in Berlin, it was an unexpected gain.

After saying goodbye to a few students, Suo Yang and Shen Huiming went downstairs and left.

It was past six o’clock when they got back to the car, and their date had entered the tenth hour.

During these ten hours, they began to see each other in a more realistic light, and the distance was finally slowly drawn closer.

It was late September, and autumn had already arrived. The sky was not yet dark at this time, but the sun had already gone to work in the other hemisphere.

Suo Yang looked out the window, and suddenly heard Shen Huiming ask: “Do you feel anxious?”

       “What?”

“Didn’t you say before that one would feel anxious if one was outside in the evening?”

Suo Yang didn’t expect that he still remembered.

A little bit, actually, this time of day made it impossible for Suo Yang to quiet his mind.

“Let’s take you to a fun place.” Shen Huiming started the car, “Half an hour, and then we’ll go have dinner.”

Suo Yang didn’t ask where he was going, he just followed Shen Huiming quietly.

Before dark, Shen Huiming brought Suo Yang to their destination.

This was a small square with few people, and some people were flying kites.

After the two parked the car, Shen Huiming found two coins from the car and handed one to Suo Yang.

       “Coin?”

“Well, it will be useful later, take it.”

They got out of the car, and Suo Yang followed Shen Huiming to the depths of the square.

There was a small fountain in the middle of the small square, and several children were playing around the fountain.

When they walked to the fountain, Suo Yang realized that the bottom of the fountain was full of coins.

“This fountain has been around for a long time,” Shen Huiming said. “I don’t know when it started. Some people say that this fountain is more effective than the Trevi Fountain.”

The Trevi Fountain, the most famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, legend had it that couples throw coins into the pool together, and their love would last forever.

“I don’t mean anything else,” Shen Huiming said, “I just want to bring you here, so you can make a wish yourself.”

Suo Yang smiled, and gently rubbed his fingers against the coin Shen Huiming gave him.

He looked at the water gushing out and the coins in the pool, and for a long time he didn’t think that he could make any wish.

       “I don’t seem to have a wish.”

Shen Huiming looked at him in surprise.

“You still have to rely on yourself for the goals you want to achieve, don’t you?”

Suo Yang’s words made Shen Huiming feel that he didn’t know whether to admire his transparency or feel sorry for his transparency, but Shen Huiming reckoned that Suo Yang didn’t need his distress.

“Then make a wish that you can’t achieve on your own.” Shen Huiming looked away, looked at the fountain, and threw the coin into the water while talking, “I wish you will be in a good mood tomorrow.”

The coin fell into the water and made a splash.

Suo Yang was silent for a few seconds, then tossed a coin as well.

Suo Yang said, “I wish that tomorrow you are also in a good mood.”

Chapter 60

Because of Ning Junyan’s words, everyone at the round table in the dining area fell silent.

Yu Jie still maintained a smile on his face, he asked Ning Junyan, “Is there someone you like? Why are you not in a relationship with the person you like?”

When he heard the words, Ning Junyan turned his head and glanced at Chen Yuncheng, and then said, “The timing is not good.” He was referring to the fact that Chen Yuncheng would not allow him to disclose their relationship on such an occasion today, and since he had promised not to say anything, he really would not.

       No one else understood.

Shu Rong couldn’t bear it anymore and come out to smooth things over. She said to Ning Junyan, “You worked the night shift yesterday, did you get a good rest?”

Ning Junyan said, “Fortunately, I wasn’t too busy last night.”

Yu Jie stretched out his hand and patted the back of his daughter’s hand reassuringly, then said to Ning Junyan, “Young man, if you like it, feel free to pursue it boldly, don’t care about whether the timing is good or not.” After Yu Jie said that, he looked at Shu Rong, ” Am I right?”

       Shu Rong smiled and nodded.

Today was also supposed to be a day for Ning Junyan and Yu Mingli to meet, except for Shu Rong’s obvious desire to set them up, everyone else felt that love was free and it was up to fate if they could be together.

Now that Ning Junyan’s refusal attitude was obvious, Zhang Chong and the others hastened to change the subject to something else so as not to make the atmosphere even more awkward.

Chen Yuncheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief and was glad that Ning Junyan did not say anything more.

When they finished eating, Ning Zhang Hong and Shu Rong went to see off their guests, and Ning Junyan and Chen Yuncheng accompanied them to the parking area outside the lawn.

Chen Yuncheng saw Yu Jie and his daughter getting into the car, pressed the window and waved goodbye to the people outside, and then drove away in a natural manner.

When Zhang Chong and his wife also left, Ning Junyan said to Shu Rong, “Can I go?”

Shu Rong said, “Wait a moment, I have something to tell you.”

When they returned to the villa, Ning Zhanghong went upstairs alone without even saying anything. Chen Yuncheng stood downstairs and tilted his head to watch Ning Zhanghong’s back as he left, thinking to himself that Ning Zhanghong’s indifference was not entirely similar to Ning Junyan’s.

Shu Rong went to the kitchen and told the nanny to tidy up the living room. When she came back, she said to Chen Yuncheng, “Can we have a chat?” Her attitude was very gentle.

Chen Yuncheng originally thought that Shu Rong wanted to talk to Ning Junyan, and was a little surprised to hear her words.

At this time, Ning Junyan said coldly, “No.”

Shu Rong looked at Ning Junyan with a slightly angry look on her face but then forced herself to hold it back and still looked at Chen Yun Cheng gently.

Chen Yuncheng thought about Yu Jie’s matter, and felt that it was necessary for him to tell Shu Rong about Yu Jie’s situation, so he nodded and said, “Okay.”

Shu Rong took Chen Yuncheng to the small parlour on the second floor. She personally made a cup of tea for Chen Yuncheng and sat down opposite Chen Yuncheng.

       Chen Yuncheng said, “Auntie—”

“Yuncheng,” Shu Rong interrupted him, “Where do you work now?”

Chen Yuncheng couldn’t say anything about Yu Jie, so he could only answer Shu Rong’s question first, “I don’t have a job for the time being, but I will go to a friend’s store to help out after the Chinese New Year.”

Shu Rong nodded, “I remember you’re two years younger than Jun Yan, aren’t you?”

       Chen Yuncheng said, “Yes.”

Shu Rong picked up the teacup, took a shallow sip and said as she put it down, “So you’re about to be thirty, still don’t have a proper job, and are working for someone else?”

Chen Yuncheng looked at Shu Rong. Since he came back with Ning Junyan today, Shu Rong’s attitude has actually been unfriendly, but Chen Yuncheng was too distracted by Yu Jie, and only now when he heard Shu Rong’s words, he realised that Shu Rong probably was looking down on him.

With a faint feeling of discomfort in his heart, Chen Yuncheng replied in a very polite tone, “I opened a store by myself before, but it didn’t go well, so now I have to start all over again.”

Shu Rong smiled and said, “It doesn’t matter if young people fail in their careers, you just have to start all over again. Then how long do you plan to stay with Junyan?”

Chen Yuncheng didn’t answer immediately, some words twitched between his lips and teeth before he finally swallowed them down. He reminded himself that this was Ning Junyan’s mother, and he shouldn’t be rude, just as he had never been able to reject Ning Junyan with unpleasant words.

Seeing that he didn’t answer, Shu Rong continued by herself, “Junyan is more sentimental than I imagined. After all, you lived together when you were young. It’s understandable that he would be willing to give you a hand when he sees you in a bad situation. But Auntie thinks you still can’t rely on him too much, after all, you are an adult man, and you can’t rely on friends for a lifetime. It’s only real to plan for yourself early.

Chen Yuncheng put his hands on his knees, watching the tea leaves in the teacup in front of him floating on the light yellow water.

Shu Rong continued, “You all have to get married separately. You can’t have a girlfriend before you come to plan to find a place to live. It’s much less possible for you to take your girlfriend to live with him, right?”

Chen Yuncheng said slowly, “You are right.”

Shu Rong smiled, and only a few wrinkles could be seen at the corners of her eyes as she said, “There are some occasions in the future when it would be inappropriate for you to go with him. After all, you have been separated for so long and have your own different friends and different circles, there is no need to forcefully blend together, a moderate communication will do.”

As she spoke, Ning Jun Yan opened the door to the small parlour from outside and stood in the doorway saying, “Are you done talking?”

Shu Rong stood up and said to him, “We’ve almost finished chatting, I still have something I want to say to you.”

Ning Junyan walked in and stood in front of Shu Rong. From this angle, he just completely blocked Chen Yuncheng who was sitting opposite Shu Rong, “Go ahead.”

Shu Rong no longer had the gentle smile she had when facing Chen Yuncheng, she frowned slightly and said, “What’s your attitude towards the guests today?”

Ning Junyan said, “Which guest are you referring to? If it’s that lady, since I don’t have that intention, wouldn’t it be best to make my attitude clear before it’s too late?”

Shu Rong said, “You are already thirty years old! Don’t you know what to do at what age?”

Ning Junyan said, “I don’t need you to make arrangements for me.”

Shu Rong took a step forward, “That’s fine. Since you have someone you like, you can bring her back so I can take a look.”

When Ning Junyan heard the words, he turned his head and glanced at Chen Yuncheng.

At this moment, Chen Yuncheng’s mood calmed down, and he didn’t react when he saw Ning Junyan looking at him.

Ning Junyan turned his head and said, “There will be a day like that.” After he finished speaking, he turned and walked towards Chen Yuncheng, “Let’s go.”

Chen Yuncheng stood up from the sofa, and said to Shu Rong, “Auntie, we’ll leave first then.”

Shu Rong smiled, “Take care, I won’t see you off.”

Ning Junyan and Chen Yuncheng went downstairs, and the nanny sent them outside the door. The sun was still shining in the morning, but in the afternoon the sun was covered by clouds again, the tables and chairs on the lawn had been arranged to one side, and a cold breeze was blowing on them in the open environment.

       Chen Yuncheng remained silent.

After they got into the car, Ning Junyan raised his hand to fasten the seat belt. He did not rush to start the car, but looked at Chen Yuncheng and asked, “What did my mother say to you?”

Chen Yuncheng just hummed and turned his head, “Nothing. We just chatted.”

“Couldn’t tell me?” Ning Junyan asked.

Chen Yuncheng said, “No, it’s just that you must have heard what she said from her as well, it doesn’t mean much.”

Ning Junyan looked at him without speaking.

Chen Yuncheng reached out and pressed his hand on the back of Ning Junyan’s hand, “Let’s go back.”

Only then did Ning Junyan start the car and go home.

That night, Chen Yuncheng sat on the sofa as he stared at the television in a daze, and Ning Junyan was beside him, reading literature with his laptop on his lap.

The sound of the TV was turned on very low, the fluorescent screen kept flickering, and the images reflected in Chen Yuncheng’s eyes were constantly changing, but his mind was not on what was playing on the television at all.

Shu Rong’s words today are meaningless, her attitude and purpose could not be more simple; she just didn’t like Chen Yuncheng, and she wanted Chen Yuncheng to stay away from Ning Jun.

Chen Yuncheng had grown up as an orphan, and he grew up alone. He had never met anyone and had never suffered any grievances. He could easily understand the meaning of Shu Rong’s words, but he would not belittle himself because Shu Rong looked down on him, but he still cared.

Something Shu Rong had said had struck a chord in his heart. What was his relationship with Ning Junyan now? Even if they were in a relationship, Ning Junyan was the one who provided him with a peaceful environment and let him sleep in his warm embrace every night. He had too few days of being loved and favoured by others, and if he was not careful, he would Indulge in it.

He knew that Ning Junyan had deep feelings for him, and he was not willing to hurt Ning Junyan, otherwise he would have already considered moving out. Shu Rong’s words now were just another reminder for him to think carefully about whether it was okay for him to enjoy everything Ning Junyan had paid for him with his feelings, just like the clothes he was wearing now, or even the underwear inside were bought for him by Ning Junyan.

He wanted a more reciprocal and grounded relationship.

Chen Yuncheng’s mobile phone was sitting on the coffee table in front of him, and the screen lit up without warning, and the caller ID showed a call from Guan Anlin.

He sent a message to Guan Anlin in the afternoon, asking when Guan Anlin would come back, but the other party never replied, so he did not expect to make a phone call right now.

Ning Junyan raised his head and glanced at his mobile phone screen, his slender legs resting on the coffee table shifted a little, and then looked at Chen Yuncheng.

Chen Yuncheng picked up the phone and went to the balcony next to the bathroom to answer the phone under Ning Junyan’s gaze.

As soon as the phone was connected, Guan Anlin asked, “What’s the matter? Are you going to get ready for work now?”

Chen Yuncheng leaned against the balcony guardrail, and looked in the direction of the living room, “No, I want to ask if the house you rented before. Is it convenient for me to move in now?”

Guan Anlin was taken aback by his question, and said, “I have returned the house.”

“Returned?” Chen Yuncheng was a little surprised.

Guan Anlin said, “Didn’t you ask me to do business with you? Anyway, I have very few things anyway, so I give up my house and quit my job before I go home for the New Year, waiting for you to inform me when to start work.”

Chen Yuncheng said, “It may take a while.”

“It doesn’t matter, then I’ll stay at home for a while longer,” Guan Anlin said, who hadn’t been back to his hometown for a long time.

       Chen Yuncheng replied, “En”.

Guan Anlin asked him, “Did you get kicked out by that rich friend of yours?”

Chen Yuncheng’s tone was a little frustrated, “No.”

Guan Anlin said, “So what house to look for now?”

Chen Yuncheng said, “It’s nothing, I’m just asking.”

Guan Anlin said to him, “Then wait a little longer, let your rich friend accommodate you and stay for a few more days, and we will find a house to live in when I come back.”

       “I understand.”

With that said, Chen Yuncheng ended the call.

He was a little distressed and squatted down on the balcony, tucking his fingers into his short hair. He felt that he was being a bit pretentious, obviously, he would be more straightforward with other people and things. However, he would think a lot about Ning Junyan’s matter, and sometimes he would even get involved in it.

He lowered his head, bumped his head against the wall, and suddenly heard Ning Junyan’s voice, “What are you doing?”

Chen Yuncheng jerked his head up and saw Ning Junyan standing in the doorway of the balcony looking at him.

Extra 6 – The Days of Being a Cat 6

       I slept until dawn.

When I opened my eyes, the whole cat was in He Qing’s arms.

He Qing was still asleep, his long eyelashes cast a shadow under his eyes, and his breathing was steady.

His lips parted slightly, and his warm breath made my ears twitch.

I rubbed He Qing’s chest with my fur, but He Qing didn’t wake up.

I put away the tip of the claw and knead him with my paw pad, but he still didn’t wake up.

       I……

I stuck out my tongue and licked. I think a cat had barbs on its tongue, right?

       He Qing woke up.

Wuwuwu, then he beat me up.

He tapped my head, “You little devil, did you learn from Guan Lie?”

       “Meow–“

Wuwuwu, I’m the real thing, just the real Guan Lie!

He Qing was cooking in the kitchen, and I rubbed against his legs underneath, trying to be coquettish.

Wuwuwu, He Qing I was wrong.

Actually, it was mainly about seeing different scenery.

The only drawback was that cat food was really unpalatable.

He Qing seemed to see that I didn’t like food, so he specially gave me some of his breakfast.

Wuwuwu, my He Qing is too good.

After dinner, He Qing exercised upstairs for a while and then teased me with a cat teasing stick.

       “Meow!”

       Wuwuwu, I’m not a cat!

But He Qing looked very happy, and I thought, when I wasn’t home, the only one who could keep He Qing company was this cat.

I just looked very excited and chased the cat teaser.

Well, I was really assimilating with this cat.

Wuwuwu, I’m really not a cat.

But I am happy when He Qing is happy.

I gritted my teeth and let him tease me.

The cat teasing stick, that was fun.

Holy shit! I’m not a cat!

The author has something to say:

Guan Lie: I don’t play with cat teasers.
He Qing: Come on~
Guan Lie: It’s awesome.

Notes:
I think Guan Lie was licking He Qing’s d1ck with the cat’s tongue

Extra 5 – The Days of Being a Cat 5

The light in the bedroom was dim. He Qing was leaning against the bed reading a book, a blanket around his waist, one leg curled up in a very lazy manner, and I was lying in the crook of his arm.

Don’t ask me why I didn’t tell He Qing, his Guan Lie turned into a cat.

I wanted to see what kind of perks the cat had while I was away.

He Qing was so focused on reading that he didn’t even notice that his bathrobe was open.

I enjoyed the scenery for a long time and finally cured myself of the nosebleed.

Suddenly a bold idea came to me.

So I stood up and, using the fact that I was a cat, I got under the blanket.

Then I was quickly picked up by He Qing.

He Qing’s face was a little red, and he flicked my head, “You little devil, where are you going?”

       “Meow—”

Wuwuwu, I just saw that you are so sexy, I couldn’t help it.

       Wuwuwu, I’m just a crotch-staring cat.

I tried my best to curl into a ball, trying to be cute and get He Qing to forgive me.

As expected, He Qing couldn’t bear it anymore. I knew He Qing was the best.

Wuwuwu, my wife is too gentle.

       This cat got it easy.

He Qing read the book for a while, then pulled the quilt and got ready to sleep.

Before going to sleep, he lifted the quilt by a corner, “Come in.”

       What the fvck!?

This cat is actually in the same bed as my He Qing?!

When I got back, it had to be thrown away.

       It must be thrown away.

If I couldn’t throw it away, I had to give it away.

       I sneaked in.

… This cat must be given away!

       This, this cat…

       This cat had night vision…

       Damn it!?

Filled with jealousy, I plopped down angrily by He Qing’s waist.

He Qing’s hand reached under the covers and rubbed my head, “Go to sleep, no more fooling around.”

Wuwuwu, wife, don’t you think my head is a little green1implying if He Qing see Guan Lie is feeling cheated.?

Wuwuwu, it’s green like this cat’s eyes.

Wuwuwu, the cat’s eyes are green.

The bed was filled with the smell of He Qing as if going back to the days when I slept with He Qing in my arms.

       I closed my eyes.

Bro is too jealous of the cat, lmao

Extra 4 – The Days of Being a Cat 4

He Qing hurried to the kitchen to bring the medicine again and fed me carefully.

I was truly jealous of the cat.

When the nosebleed stopped, he continued to wash me.

There was so much water splashed inside his robe……

I watched as the water dripped and slid across his chest.

When it was finally done, He Qing took a towel and wrapped it around me and wiped it off.

He scratched my nose and said, “Go out and play by yourself first, I need a bath, I just got water all over your bath, but you were good today and didn’t run around.”

       “Meow!”

He wiped the water off my body, put me on the ground, and opened the door a crack, “Go, go out and play by yourself.”

I got out through the crack of the door, and when I turned around, He Qing’s bathrobe had already fallen on the floor.

I dug back in and crouched back to watch He Qing’s back.

This sexy back, lean waistline, inner buttocks, and long and straight big white legs.

Well, who the hell wants to get out?

A little more, a little more stimulation, and I could take it.

I was holding my breath as I watched He Qing lift her legs and stepped into the bathtub.

The foam covered He Qing’s body, concealing it.

       Oh My God……

I couldn’t help sweeping my tail back and forth on the floor as I watched He Qing stood up after taking bath.

He stepped out of the bathtub and saw me, smiled, then picked up a towel and threw it on my head, “Naughty little one, didn’t you used to not want to stay in the bathroom for one more second?”

This cat was really stupid. If it were me, I could live in the bathroom and not come out.

It was dark before my eyes, but my ears could hear every detail of He Qing wearing a bathrobe.

       Are cat ears that good?

By the time I was carried out of the bathroom by He Qing, I was in a daze.

       This was so damn upsetting.

I was living in an incubator at the Institute and this cat was at home whoring on my wife so obviously.

       fvck me!

       This is unforgivable!

He Qing blew my fur dry, making my body warm. After seeing my appearance, he rubbed my fur.

       Yes, that’s right…

       Rub it hard…

       fvck me!

       I am not a cat!

I was practically assimilated into this cat body and I flickered my tail angrily.

But I still couldn’t let go of He Qing’s hand.

The author has something to say:

Guan Lie: This cat knows too much.

Cat: Meow meow meow?

Chapter 59

Before Chen Yuncheng went out, he took out the new clothes that Ning Junyan had given him and put them on. After changing his clothes, he stood in front of the mirror for a long time and looked at them carefully. When he felt that nothing looked out of place on his body, he went out with Ning Junyan.

Originally, Chen Yuncheng wanted to go to a nearby shopping mall to buy a New Year’s gift for Ning Junyan’s parents, but Ning Junyan said it was not necessary, and that he had gifts for others in his car, so Chen Yuncheng could just carry them over when the time comes.

“Isn’t it inappropriate?” Chen Yuncheng said.

“It’s nothing inappropriate,” Ning Junyan didn’t even discuss it with him, nor did he plan to drive to the mall.

Chen Yuncheng had no choice but to accept it.

They were not out early enough, and it was almost eleven noon when they drove to Ning Junyan’s parents’ house.

Ning Junyan’s parents lived on the outskirts of the city, which was also a villa area. As it was still relatively new, it had a wide view of the surrounding area and a good environment.

Chen Yuncheng was a little apprehensive all the way to the villa. After he got off the car, he saw a lawn in front of the villa. Perhaps it was because of the good weather today and the abundant sunlight, a small square table was placed on the lawn, and a few people sat beside the small square table, drinking tea and chatting.

One of them was Ning Junyan’s mother, Shu Rong, and it seemed that their guests had already arrived.

Chen Yuncheng was holding the New Year’s gift box given to him by Ning Junyan, he didn’t know how much the box was worth, but it was beautifully packaged.

Ning Junyan walked beside him and walked with him along the stone path on the lawn.

One of the guests saw Ning Junyan and the others first and said to Shu Rong, “Your son is back.”

Shu Rong turned her head with a smile on her face, and the moment her eyes touched Chen Yuncheng, her smile very visibly stiffened for a moment, then she stood up and walked towards Ning Junyan and the others with a natural expression.

       “You’ve returned?” Shu Rong asked.

       Ning Junyan nodded.

Chen Yuncheng smiled and said to Shu Rong, “Auntie, Happy New Year.” He handed the gift box in his hand to Shu Rong.

Shu Rong looked down at the gift box but didn’t immediately reach out.

Ning Junyan first took the gift box from Chen Yuncheng’s hand, and handed it to Shu Rong, “Yuncheng is here to give you New Year’s greetings.”

Only then did Shu Rong raise her hand and said with a smile, “You’re too kind.”

She didn’t say much and led Ning Junyan and the others to greet several guests.

“Uncle Zhang and Aunt Xia, you both know each other,” Shu Rong introduced to Ning Junyan.

Ning Junyan, Zhang Chong and Xia Wenjuan knew each other. They had been doing business with Shu Rong, and Shu Rong’s plastic surgery hospital was jointly opened with them.

Then Shu Rong continued to introduce, “This is Boss Yu. This should be the first time you meet him, and that’s Boss Yu’s daughter, called Yu Mingli, she just came back from studying abroad.”

       Ning Junyan just nodded.

Shu Rong took Ning Junyan’s arm and said, “This is my son Junyan, who works in the hospital.” After she finished speaking, she saw other people’s eyes falling on Chen Yuncheng, and said, “This is my son Junyan’s friend.”

Chen Yuncheng didn’t say anything. Ever since he saw the guests from Ning’s family, his eyes had been on Boss Yu.

Boss Yu sat on a white chair, looked up and saw Chen Yuncheng. He then smiled at him politely.

Chen Yuncheng could not smile, he had met this Boss Yu, and although not for many times, he left a deep impression. This person was the same Boss Yu who said he would take Guan Anlin to do business together, but later caused Guan Anlin to do two years in jail. Chen Yuncheng remembered his name was Yu Jie.

Zhang Chong got up and greeted Ning Junyan as they sat down.

Ning Junyan noticed that something was not quite right with Chen Yuncheng. He lightly touched the back of Chen Yuncheng’s hand, and asked in a low voice, “What’s wrong?”

Chen Yuncheng shook his head, turned his eyes away from Yu Jie, and said, “It’s nothing.”

After he sat down, Ning Junyan asked Shu Rong, “Where’s dad?”

Shu Rong said, “He’s still dawdling upstairs, the guests are all here and he hasn’t come down yet, why don’t you go and call him?”

Ning Junyan refused, “He will come later by himself.”

Xia Wenjuan looked at Chen Yuncheng, and asked Ning Junyan, “Junyan, what’s your friend’s name, you haven’t introduced him to us yet.”

Ning Jun replied, “His name is Chen Yuncheng.”

Chen Yuncheng greeted Xia Wenjuan politely.

Seeing that Xia Wenjuan was still looking at Chen Yuncheng, Shu Rong asked Yu Mingli who was sitting opposite her abruptly, “It’s no fun for you youngsters to listen to us chat, is it? Would xiao Li like to go for a stroll?”

Yu Mingli glanced at Ning Junyan, then at Shu Rong, and said, “Okay.”

Shu Rong said to Ning Junyan, “You can go take a walk with Xiaoli.”

Ning Junyan didn’t agree, he just asked Chen Yuncheng, “Want to go for a walk?”

Chen Yuncheng shook his head, and he couldn’t help looking at Yu Jie again. However, Yu Jie didn’t look at him and only looked at Ning Junyan with a smile on his face.

Ning Junyan said to Shu Rong, “I’m not going, I’ll take Yuncheng to see Dad.” After he said that, he stood up, held Chen Yuncheng’s hand at the same time, pulled him up, and led him towards the villa’s front door.

The rest of the group seemed a little embarrassed, and after a brief moment of silence, Shu Rong smiled and said to Yu Mingli, “Then let’s have dinner before we go take a stroll, Junyan will take his friend to see the old Ning first.”

Yu Mingli nodded her head and forced a smile.

When they entered the house, the busy voice of the nanny came from the direction of the kitchen. There were several New Year gifts, fruit plates and flower arrangements on the coffee table in the living room.

Ning Junyan did not take Chen Yuncheng upstairs immediately, but stopped at the stairs and asked him, “What’s wrong?”

Chen Yuncheng seemed to have been lost in thought, but when he heard Ning Junyan’s question, he looked up at him, “What? We’re not going to give New Year’s greetings to your father?”

Ning Junyan frowned, “Do you know that Boss Yu?”

Chen Yuncheng didn’t know if he should say it at this time, he hesitated for a moment and said, “I don’t know him, let’s go upstairs first.”

Ning Junyan raised his hand to pinch Chen Yuncheng’s jaw, and looked at him seriously, “What do you keep looking at him for if you don’t know him?”

Chen Yuncheng pushed Ning Junyan’s hand away, “What are you thinking?”

Ning Junyan said, “Or else we will go back.”

Chen Yuncheng was stunned for a moment, “Why? You came here especially to spend the New Year with your parents today.”

Ning Junyan said, “You don’t look happy.”

Chen Yuncheng looked at him and smiled, “I’m not unhappy.”

Ning Junyan said coldly, “You keep looking at other people.”

“Looking at who?” Chen Yuncheng was baffled by what he said, and after a while, he realised, “You mean Boss Yu?”

Ning Junyan had a stoic expression on his face and did not speak.

Chen Yuncheng smiled and raised his hand to pinch his face, “Do you think I’m crazy?”

Ning Junyan stared at him for a moment, then took his hand again and continued walking upstairs.

They met Ning Zhanghong in the study room on the second floor. Ning Zhanghong was reading a book and obviously didn’t want to go down to chat with Shu Rong’s guests.

When Ning Zhanghong saw Chen Yuncheng, his usually calm face also showed some surprise, “Are you Chen Yuncheng?”

Chen Yuncheng said, “Uncle, happy new year.”

Ning Zhanghong nodded, “Happy New Year.” He stood up from the desk, stretched out his hand to flatten the book in front of him, went to the window and looked downstairs. When he turned around, he asked Ning Junyan, ” Have you met your mother?”

Ning Junyan said, “I’ve met her.”

Ning Zhanghong’s tone was slightly nervous, “She didn’t say anything?”

Ning Junyan said, “There are still guests at home, and she is busy keeping Uncle Zhang and the others company.”

Ning Zhanghong nodded to show that he understood. With his hands behind his back, he stared at the people downstairs for a while, and said to Ning Junyan, “Then you can accompany your friend to have fun.”

Ning Junyan opened the door and wanted to take Chen Yuncheng out when Ning Zhanghong suddenly called out to him again, “You know your mother has a bad temper.”

“I know,” Ning Junyan said, and left the study with Chen Yuncheng one after the other.

Ning Zhanghong didn’t care who Ning Junyan associates with, he only cared that Shu Rong would lose her temper because of this, and make him no longer have a day of peace.

When he came out of the study, Chen Yuncheng said, “Uncle seems strange.”

Ning Junyan asked him, “In what way?”

Chen Yuncheng said, “I can’t tell, but he seems a bit nervous.”

Ning Junyan hummed and said, “He’s always like this, don’t worry about him.”

It was only at lunchtime that Ning Zhanghong came down from upstairs and sat down at the round table to accompany the guests.

Shu Rong opened a bottle of red wine, but Ning Zhanghong didn’t drink, so she drank with the guests by herself.

Chen Yuncheng felt that Yu Jie acted as if he didn’t know him anymore. He didn’t pay attention to him from the beginning to the end, and he didn’t deliberately avoid his gaze, as if he was facing a complete stranger.

As he listened to their conversation while eating, he learnt that Yu Jie met Shu Rong through Zhang Chong. He had a sum of money in hand and wanted to work with them to set up a branch of a plastic surgery hospital in the east of the city.

Shu Rong didn’t seem to know Yu Jie very well, but she was clearly more interested in his daughter and had been taking the initiative to chat with Yu Mingli.

When he first arrived at Ning’s house, Chen Yuncheng’s attention was all on Yu Jie, and now he suddenly realised that the main purpose of Shu Rong’s banquet today was to introduce Ning Junyan and Yu Mingli to each other.

When he realised this, Chen Yuncheng couldn’t help but look at Ning Junyan.

He didn’t know if Ning Junyan noticed it, but then he couldn’t tell anything from Ning Junyan’s face anyway. After he noticed Chen Yuncheng’s gaze, he gave Chen Yuncheng a chopstick of fish and said, “Concentrate on eating.”

Shu Rong tried her best to find something in common between Ning Junyan and Yu Mingli, asking them about their experiences studying abroad.

Yu Mingli said that she worked very hard and that there was a time when she had to prepare a report every week and couldn’t even sleep well at night.

Shu Rong looked at Ning Junyan.

Ning Junyan said with an expressionless face, “It’s nothing, I think everything is very simple and easy.”

Yu Jie laughed and said, “That’s because Junyan is smart, and xiao Li is not so smart, so she has to work harder.”

Shu Rong’s face darkened slightly, and she looked at Ning Junyan with disapproval.

Chen Yuncheng looked at Yu Mingli and saw that although Yu Mingli was smiling, she looked a little embarrassed.

Yu Jie seemed to be trying to help his daughter out as he asked Ning Jun Yan, “From what your mother said, you haven’t been in a relationship for so many years?”

Ning Junyan replied politely, “That’s right.”

Yu Jie asked him, “Is it because you haven’t met the right one or are you asking too much?” He asked with a smile, and his tone sounded very kind.

Ning Junyan put down his chopsticks and looked at Yu Jie.

Chen Yuncheng’s heart suddenly jumped heavily. He had a premonition that Ning Junyan might talk nonsense, he was very nervous and stretched out his hand to pull Ning Junyan’s arm from under the table.

Ning Junyan’s attention shifted to Chen Yuncheng. He saw that the fish that he has just given to him hadn’t been touched, so he asked, “The food is not delicious?”

Chen Yuncheng replied in a low voice, “No, it’s delicious.”

Ning Junyanlifted his hand and pressed it against the back of Chen Yuncheng’s neck, “Then eat well.” Then he turned to Yu Jie and asked, “When is Boss Yu referring to? Before or now?”

Yu Jie smiled and asked, “Is there any difference?”

Ning Junyan said, “Before I never come across anyone yet, but now I have someone I like.”

Extra 3 – The Days of Being a Cat 3

I lifted the cat’s paw and made a gesture of wiping, but this cat had too much fur on it.

The cat’s paws were covered in blood.

He Qing fished out some kind of medicine that I didn’t know what and gave it to me in a hurry.

As soon as I ate it, my mouth was full of mint.

       This was so…

It was a competitor to nutritional supplements.

       It was too bad.

He Qing knelt down and wiped the blood on my face with a tissue.

       How can I put this?

       fvck! He Qing, stop squatting!

I can see everything when you squat down!

He Qing! He Qing! Don’t squat down!

If you keep squatting down, my nosebleed won’t stop!

I’m going to bleed to death!

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy… I can’t stand it…

He Qing probably felt that it was inconvenient to squat down and wipe my nosebleed like this, so he picked me up.

My nosebleed finally stopped, and I don’t think it was because of the medicine at all.

He Qing dabbed some water and gently wiped my bloodied nose, “What do you think is wrong with you ……”

       “Meow!!! Meow meow meow!!!”

“Is there too much nutrition in this cat food?”

       “Meow meow meow!”

Nope! Not at all! It’s just you who are so sexy! He Qing!

Fortunately, I wasn’t the first cat to die of a nosebleed.

But I was too happy too soon.

He Qing wiped me for a long time, but found that my bloodstained fur wouldn’t come off, so he said helplessly, “I can’t wipe it off, I’ll just have to give you a bath, don’t run away this time you little naughty one.”

What!? He Qing gave such a good benefit like bathing, and this cat usually dared to run away!?

       Wait! A bath!?

He Qing is going to give me a bath!?

fvck!? I felt my cat’s head getting hot again.

He Qing carried me and walked to the bathroom, “I’ll wash you gently, no running away this time.”

       “Meow meow meow!”

He Qing rubbed my cat’s nose, “You have to take a bath even though you’re purring, otherwise there’s a lot of blood on your fur and you won’t be able to sleep in bed at night.”

       “……meow!?”

This cat actually slept with my He Qing!?

He Qing opened the bathroom door and put me in the bathtub, he squatted down at the edge of the tub and picked up the shower.

The warm water poured over my fur, and a lot of water splashed on He Qing’s body.

       Oh My God……

Wuwuwu, I don’t want to change back.

This angle, He Qing from this angle…

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy.

“Eh? Why is your nose bleeding again?”

Wuwuwu, bleed, bleed me to death.

Guan Lie is taking bleed me to death to a whole new level, lolol

Extra 2 – The Days of Being a Cat 2

Maybe it was because my cat cry was so miserable that He Qing was taken aback.

He picked me up quickly and kept gently stroking my head and smoothing my fur.

But part of my brain was already dead, probably because the cat’s brain was not big enough.

How the hell did I become a cat!?

He Qing! He Qing, take a proper look at me!

I am your little Lie Lie!

He Qing couldn’t hear my inner voice at all, and could only hear my persistent ‘meow meow’

He tilted his head and kissed my furry head lightly, his voice was as gentle as a puddle of water, “Guai1I think this is the cat’s name, are you hungry?”

Wuwuwu, He Qing’s voice was too gentle.

I couldn’t help but meow softly.

       The whole cat was shocked.

       I am not a cat!

He Qing carried me straight to the bed and then gently put me on the bed.

“Meow?” I tilted my head and looked at him.

Crap! I’m really not a fvcking cat!

He Qing sat on the edge of the bed and reached out his fingers to scratch my chin, smiling extra gently, “Guai, you can’t eat anymore even if you’re cute, you’re still young.”

But my mind was not on his smile at all.

He Qing had just finished taking a shower, so he was wearing nothing but a bathrobe.

       Wearing nothing.

       Nothing to wear.

He lowered his head slightly and the collar of his robe was wide open.

It was so wide that you could see everything underneath through the collar.

       He Qing was so white.

A thin layer of muscle could be seen under the skin, the one on the chest was so pink and tender.

I could even remember the feeling of kissing it when I saw it like this.

       This collarbone is so sexy…

I could feel my cat’s head suddenly become hot.

He Qing’s expression was suddenly a bit alarmed, “You, why are you having a nosebleed.”

I opened my mouth as if I had lost my soul, “Meow…”

My breath was stuck in my throat.

He Qing, you are so sexy.

       I can’t fvcking… I can’t fvcking stand it.

He Qing hurriedly picked me up, my head was right on his chest, and I was in close contact with his d1ck.

The smell of shower gel was all over my nose.

There was also He Qing’s smell.

       Wuwuwu, it’s so sexy.

He Qing ran to the kitchen, sets me down on the carpet and got up to rummage through the cupboards above.

When I looked up, I could see under the bathrobe.

       fvck…

He Qing probably hadn’t had time to put on pants yet…

I quickly lowered my cat’s head, and the nosebleed dripped onto the carpet.

Wuwuwu, this is just too sexy.

Extra 1 – The Days of Being a Cat 1

My memory hadn’t fully returned yet, but since I got together He Qing, my quality of life has skyrocketed like sitting in a mecha1human-operated robot in Japanese manga.

The little snake had also grown up slowly, that traitor!

At the same time, I found a problem.

That was, our cat seemed to have a very good life.

Let’s put it this way, if I have a human life with He Qing, then the cat has a divine life with He Qing.

       Things started two weeks ago.

Didn’t I always lose my memory? It’s not that I want to lose my memory, but since my Quantum Beast was an Ilaga python, after a large-scale battle, if the main body was seriously injured, it would shed its skin and return to its infancy state, and I would also lose my memory along with it.

Not only my other half, He Qing, was troubled by this problem, but the military department also felt very distressed.

Every time I lose my memory, all the military knowledge had to be retrained.

The advantage was that there was never any fear of me spilling the beans.

But it was too labour-intensive and time-consuming, so the military department, in conjunction with the Institute, formulated a surgery for me.

It required a three-month stay in the Institute’s laboratory, mainly to keep me in an incubation chamber.

Because it involved military secrets, He Qing, as a family member, could not accompany me.

The thought of being separated for another three months made me reluctant to part with He Qing.

I was afraid that he would be too lonely at home by himself without me.

So I purchased a white kitten to keep He Qing accompany at home.

He Qing also liked this fluffy kitten, so I went to the research institute with confidence.

After lying down in the incubator, I quietly closed my eyes.

Then it didn’t take long for me to wake up.

I felt like there was a problem with the operation!?

I looked around and there was no liquid around, just very large pieces of furniture.

So big that I wondered if I had travelled back in time.

I remembered a fairy tale on the ancient Blue Planet called something about something travelling to Wonderland, where a little girl suddenly went to a place where everything was mad big.

I tried to take a couple of steps, and the more I walked, the more I thought the furniture around me looked familiar.

I looked around for a while, but isn’t this my house?!

       What the hell?

Just when I was confused, a barefoot appeared in my line of sight, with round toes, pink and tender, and upwards a pair of large white legs, long and straight, with exceptionally smooth skin and a particularly nice feel.

I could think, as soon as I saw it, of the touch of stroking it and the feel of it clamped to my waist.

This was He Qing’s leg, and I knew it all too well!

He Qing squatted down slowly in his bathrobe. It was obvious that he had just taken a shower, his body was still a little damp, his hair was still dripping, and her skin was slightly rosy from the steam.

He reached out and touched my head, with a smile on his lips, “Waiting for me here?”

I wanted to say that I am Guan Lie!

       I opened my mouth, “Meow—”

       …

       I was shocked.

I opened my mouth again in horror, “Meow—!?!?!?!”

Chapter 9

When He Qing woke up, I had been on my knees for three hours.

He Qing was startled when he saw me, “What are you doing?”

The little snake also opened its eyes in a daze, and I picked it up and lift it off.

I pushed it to kneel together next to my knee.

       Little Snake: QAQ???

The Bird of Paradise flapped its wings and flew to He Qing’s shoulder, looking curiously at me and the snake along with its owner.

“He Qing, I had a confession to make.” I knelt in a standard way.

He Qing got off the bed and wanted to help me up, “What are you confessing for? Stand up first, you’re just getting better, kneeling on the floor is not good for your health.”

Wuwuwu, why is He Qing so nice!

I didn’t get up, and I just held He Qing’s hand.

“He Qing I apologise, but you have to believe me, I swear to the Third Galaxy that I will only love you for the rest of my life! If I can’t do that I’ll be struck by five thunderbolts!”

He Qing covered my mouth, “Don’t talk nonsense, don’t you dare make such a vow. I believe in you, get up first.”

Wuwuwu, I’m sorry to you, He Qing!

I can’t believe I made a lifetime promise with my fvck buddy!

       Me: “Wuuuwuuwuu!”

He Qing let go of my mouth, “Get up first, the ground is cold.”

I hugged his thigh, “He Qing I’m sorry, I didn’t expect I was such a jerk before I lost my memory! I had a fvck buddy!”

       He Qing didn’t say anything.

I continued to howl, “I even secretly made a lifetime promise to someone! But I don’t remember! He Qing, you have to believe me! You’re the only one I’ll love for the rest of my life! Really! I only love you now!”

He Qing also got down on one knee helplessly, “Okay, okay.”

I took him into my arms, “He Qing! Forgive me!”

He Qing sighed in my arms, “Guan Lie, you fool.”

“Wuwuwu, He Qing, I’m a fool! You can beat me and scold me! You must not let me go! I swear!”

He Qing laughed with a ‘pfft’, “Okay, husband, get up now.”

“I’m not getting up! I’m not getting up!” I hugged He Qing tightly, afraid that he would regret it if I let go.

Wuwuwu, He Qing was so nice, I’m the one who doesn’t deserve him.

       I’m just a scumbag.

He Qing kissed me lightly, “Let’s go to bed first and you can listen to what I have to tell you.”

I was red-eyed as He Qing pulled me up and tucked me under the covers, and He Qing got under the covers and huddled into my arms.

I embraced He Qing while sobbing.

I’m going to make money to support He Qing, wuwuwu.

He Qing rubbed my temples, “There, you cry every time you lose your memory. I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of?”

“Wuwuwu, I don’t know why, I just want to cry when I wake up.” I wiped away the tears from my eyes.

“Wait! Every time you lose your memory? He Qing, do you know me? I will really correct myself in the future!”

He Qing rubbed against my arms, “Of course I know you.”

“I’ve known you since the day you became a Sentinel.”

“I often sneak out from the Tower to find you, and we have spent countless firsts at one time.”

“We got through bonding heat before you went to the battlefield.”

“You marked me long ago, and we made an appointment to get married when you returned.”

“No matter how many times you lose your memory, you will always remember me in the end.”

“After you were hospitalized, I heard that you were seriously injured, but the Tower is under martial law, so I can’t sneak out to see you.”

“On the day of the blind date, because I hadn’t seen you for so long that I almost triggered the bonding heat again. Fortunately, I had your kiss.”

“It doesn’t matter if you can’t remember, this time we’ve registered and I don’t have to sneak out to see you anymore.”

“No matter how many times you lose your memory in the future, I’ll be there for you to slowly remember.”

       “I love you, Guan Lie.”

He Qing lay in my arms and told me many things about our old days, the first kiss, the first date, the first bonding, the first marking…

Those fragments of memory that I had forgotten in the corner seemed to be slowly pieced together.

“That dating alternate account……of yours” He Qing wanted to laugh when he said it, “The only person up there is me.”

“You’ve been using the alternate account to contact me secretly for fear of the military department finding out.”

“Well, stop crying and remember quickly. You are not a crybaby before you lose your memory.”

       “My Major General Guan.”

The little snake, having escaped death, crawled over and curtly touched the Bird of Paradise with its little tail, and the Bird of Paradise pecked him tenderly.

       That’s great, I’m not a scumbag.

Wuwuwu, I want to love He Qing for the rest of my life.

Guan Lie, you bastard, hurry up and remember!
