Chapter 26 – I like you

 

It was very quiet inside the car. Xing Zhongwan and Qi Yun were sitting on different sides and the gap between them was more than enough to fit two people. Xing Zhongwan was angry, very angry. God knows that after what Qi Yun said, it almost made him throw another punch at him. Anyway, he couldn’t bear to look at Qi Yun right now. He was played around by him like a puppy. I was afraid that I was the one who misled you. Unexpectedly, you already realized it a long time ago. Was it fun to watch me make those blunders?

 

The car stopped in front of the villa and Xing Zhongwan opened the car door angrily before going straight inside by himself. The driver looked at Qi Yun, who only leaned aside and closed his eyes to rest.

 

Xing Zhongwan walked halfway inside before turning back angrily. He opened the door and glanced at Qi Yun with his head down, “I will help you into a wheelchair,” he said harshly. The driver on the side quickly moved a few steps away.

 

Qi Yun opened his eyes, his eyes were downcast and Xing Zhongwan didn’t know whether he agreed or not, but he didn’t have the time to watch him pretend to be autistic. He carried him out of the car and put him in the wheelchair. 

 

Qi Yun whispered in his ear, “Wanwan, don’t be angry.”

 

It would be alright if he did not say a word but Xing Zhongwan got more angry after hearing this. He yelled at the driver who was about to sneak out of sight, ”Do you not have eyes?! Push your third young master inside!”

 

Everyone in the villa knew that Miss Xing was angry, but even the Third Young Master ignored it. While Miss Xing was angry, the Third Young Master did not feel well. He didn’t eat and he stopped his efforts in physical rehabilitation. He sat alone on his bed, dazed. The old housekeeper tried to feed him, but he wouldn’t eat.

 

Xing Zhongwan couldn’t stay here any longer so he took his car keys, put on his coat and went out.

 

At the sound of the car starting, Qi Yun couldn’t help but raise his head. The expression on his face was pretty bad, “He’s leaving?”

 

She didn’t know if he was talking to himself or asking her. The old housekeeper trembled as she replied, “He’s going out.”

 

Qi Yun closed his eyes before striking the bedside lamp on the table onto the ground. The loud noise made the old housekeeper shut her eyes in a panic. Qi Yun clenched his fists tightly, his forehead exuded fine sweat. He slapped his legs harshly with his palms once, then twice, and thrice…

 

The old housekeeper’s face turned into one of fright.

 

Qi Yun hit himself more than a dozen times until the pain in his legs that had initially recovered came back. He flipped open the quilt only to remember his body’s condition when he suddenly fell to the ground. The porcelain shards pierced into his body and blood began to seep out little by little. The old housekeeper covered her mouth, “Third Young Master!!!”

 

She wanted to reach out and help but Qi Yun smacked her hand away with great force, “Get out!!!”

 

He shouted hoarsely as both of his hands tightly gripped the porcelain shards on the ground. The piercing pain helped him forget the coldness he was feeling.

 

The smell of blood gradually thickened and Qi Yun’s consciousness gradually became blurred. Before he fainted, the old housekeeper who was so frightened that he collapsed to the ground only heard one word, “Wanwan…”

 

Xing Zhongwan took Xue Qing out for a drink. Xue Qing looked at Xing Zhongwan, who was drinking wine like it was water. She felt like he was about to have a headache and snatched his bottle of liquor away, “Didn’t you say that you weren’t going to spend the rest of your days with him? He already knew you were a man from the very start, why are you so angry?”

 

Xing Zhongwan lay back on the large sofa, “Laozi’s just bored. After being played like a monkey for so many days. I even teased him back. Everyone else already knew from the start, they were just watching the show.”

 

Xue Qing held a cigarette in her mouth, “Who told you to run your mouth and flirt back? Didn’t you think you were headed in an odd direction?! Lao Xing, Qi Yun has known for a long time that you’re a man, yet he still treated you like this. He’s taken an interest in you and likes you, hahaha.”

 

Xing Zhongwan grabbed the banana chips on the table and threw them at Xue Qing, “Shut your trap. I’m getting annoyed to death, yet you’re still here making fun of it. Plus, I still have to go back there to face him. Thinking about it gives me a serious headache.”

 

“What are you having a headache for? Just accept it. It’s already played out like this after so long. If you raise Qi Yun well, he’ll also become quite a rare specimen.”

 

Xue Qing’s laughter made Xing Zhongwan’s anger rise again. He picked up some clothes by his side and opened the door.

 

Xue Qing was lying on the sofa as she laughed, “Hey, you’re leaving already? Why can’t I say a few more words about your predicament?”

 

Xing Zhongwan walked out of the partitioned lounge irritably. Before he took a few more steps, a hot young lady approached him. Xing Zhongwan raised his brows, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly, “You can do whatever you want.”

 

In the dim bathroom, the woman’s dirty-blond hair bobbed on top of Xing Zhongwan’s c-ck. Xing Zhongwan held a cigarette between his mouth and pressed his hands into the woman’s head, “Go deeper.”

 

There was some intonation in his voice, but his eyes were glassy.

 

As the woman began to take off her tight-fitting top impatiently, Xing Zhongwan snorted and just wanted to tease her slowly, when his phone rang.

 

He picked it up, “Miss Xing, things are not looking good. The third young master fainted!”

 

Xing Zhongwan pushed the woman away from his cr-tch and quickly pulled up his pants. The woman looked at him with dissatisfaction and wanted to slither back to his body but Xing Zhongwan took out a stack of money from his wallet and stuffed it into her short skirt before hurriedly opening the door, quickly leaving the bathroom.

 

He sped on the roads all the way back to the Qi’s villa. When he arrived, the doctor had just left. The doctor greeted Xing Zhongwan before leaving. Did they change the doctor? Xing Zhongwan didn’t have time to think about why a different doctor had appeared. As soon as he entered the room, he was frightened by Qi Yun’s appearance. His hands were covered with gauze and he was lying on the bed as he stared blankly at the ceiling.

 

Xing Zhongwan walked over, his face dark and scary, “How did this happen?”

 

The old housekeeper standing at the door closed the door silently as she left. Xing Zhongwan’s voice just now was not much better than Qi Yun’s. If the sound of a voice could kill people, he’s one would be as sharp as a knife that can physically harm someone.

 

Hearing Xing Zhongwan’s voice, Qi Yun finally had some reaction. Wanwan came back.

 

It’s just that the prior fresh pine wood scent was mixed in with the smell of someone else’s perfume, which made Qi Yun couldn’t help but gag.

 

“Where have you been?” Qi Yun’s voice was cold, and the joy of Xing Zhongwan’s return was overtaken by the inexplicable smell of another’s perfume.

After a long time, Qi Yun’s voice came back again, “I’m sorry.”

 

Xing Zhongwan snorted coldly, “Apologizing to me… What are you sorry for? Simply apologizing to me. Doing all those ambiguous things to Laozi all day long, it’s been fun, hasn’t it, Qi Yun!?”

 

Qi Yun closed his eyes, his lashes trembling violently, “It wasn’t not fun, no!”

 

“Then what is it?!” Xing Zhongwan shouted, and the room instantly fell silent. He didn’t even know why he was so angry, Qi Yun only pretended to not know that he was a man. Just what was he so angry about? There was no good reason for his anger.

 

Even Xue Qing had said that they weren’t going to spend an eternity together anyway. Could it be that he was really overreacting?

 

Xing Zhongwan wiped his face, got up and wanted to go back to his room when he was suddenly grabbed by Qi Yun next to him. The bandaged hand that grabbed onto his clothes startled him.

 

“I like you!” Qi Yun’s words left Xing Zhongwan stunned and unable to move.

 

Qi Yun opened his bloodshot eyes, “Wanwan, I just like you, is that wrong?”
