Chapter 24 – The Lens

From lunch onwards, Zhuo Yue no longer had the right to sit on a chair to eat. According to the rules, after preparing the meal, he needed to make sure everything was in order and then kneel beside the chair to eat. His master took full responsibility for serving the food. Fortunately, Zhuo Yue wasn’t picky and just silently ate, occasionally glancing at the man sitting beside him.

“Have something to say?” Fang Mingyan asked.

Zhuo Yue said with some embarrassment, “I made it according to my own preferences, I’m afraid you won’t like it.”

“Not bad.” The man glanced at his bowl and said, “Go and add another half bowl of rice.”

Zhuo Yue’s appetite hadn’t been great since he was in low spirits. The shallow half-bowl of rice was already close to being finished. Upon hearing Fang Mingyan’s request, he had no choice but to go and add some more.

After lunch, Fang Mingyan gave him two hours of free time and went to work in the study room. Zhuo Yue finished washing the dishes, took off his apron, and stared at the empty first floor for a while. Then he made a cup of coffee and took it upstairs. He stood at the door of the study and hesitated for a long time. He raised his hand several times to knock on the door but then put it down.

Huasheng’s ability to thrive in the entertainment industry couldn’t have been possible without Fang Mingyan. In recent years, the company had been running smoothly under his management. Besides his tactics, his dedication was also commendable. Zhuo Yue was well aware that one of the main reasons Fang Mingyan handled all the work at home was for him. He felt guilty and wanted to do something to make up for it, but he was afraid of disturbing the man’s work.

The coffee was getting cold, and he never had the courage to knock on the door. He sighed and wanted to leave, but the door opened without warning. Zhuo Yue was startled, his hand shook, and the coffee in the cup almost spilt.

Fang Mingyan, who opened the door, was a little surprised when he saw him. His eyes turned from the coffee cup to his face, obviously waiting for an explanation.

“Master.” Zhuo Yue said with some embarrassment, “I… originally wanted to give you a cup of coffee…”

       “Originally?”

He stammered in explanation, “However…it took a while and got cold.”

“The coffee actually can get cold from the first floor to the second floor. It seems like the house is indeed a bit bigger.” The man joked, “I can hold a marathon at home next time.”

Zhuo Yue’s cheeks turned red. He lowered his head and said, “I’ll make you another drink.” He wanted to run away in a hurry, but his wrist was caught.

Fang Mingyan held the wrist holding the cup, moved the cup to his mouth, took a sip, then put the cup against Zhuo Yue’s lips in the opposite direction and said, “Take a sip.” This move made Zhuo Yue’s face blush. After a while, he lowered his head and took a sip as ordered, and the mellow taste of coffee melted in his mouth.

“Next time, you can make it a little thicker, and don’t stand outside the door for so long.” The man let go of his hand and said, “Come in.” Zhuo Yue was so embarrassed that he answered ‘yes’ in a low voice. Then, he followed Fang Mingyan into the study.

“Get whatever books you want to read.” After a brief explanation, the man returned to the computer to process some reports. The only sound in the room was the sound of typing on the keyboard. Zhuo Yue found the book ‘The Art of Performance’, which he had not finished before living here, and sat on the sofa to read it.

His fingers turned over the pages full of words, but his eyes always wandered in the wrong direction unconsciously. From this angle, he could just look up and see Fang Mingyan’s side profile.

His serious, focused, and confident expression seemed to make people feel inexplicably at ease just by looking at it.

After finishing the work at hand, the man sat down next to Zhuo Yue, took away the book in his hand, and asked casually, “What do you think after reading this chapter?”

He thought for a while and replied, “The naturalisation in performance needs to be achieved through a deep understanding of the character. As actors, we need to comprehend not only the personalities portrayed in the script but also the overall background of the story. For example, in period dramas, our language and behaviour must conform to the norms of that era. In performance, actors need to reveal the character’s inner world through subtle cues. The so-called naturalisation is the high degree of harmony between internal and external aspects.”

“Not bad.” Fang Mingyan raised the corners of his lips, “Still managed to read that much while being distracted looking at me, huh.”

Zhuo Yue froze when he was exposed, and his face turned red again.

“Sometimes lack of concentration is a good thing.” The man raised his chin and asked him to look up from another angle.

When the black camera placed on the high-rise bookshelf came into view, Zhuo Yue suddenly felt his whole body start to get cold.

The feeling of fear seeped out from the bottom of my heart, eroding every blood vessel and penetrating every pore. His breathing became increasingly rapid, and an imaginary cold enveloped his limbs and bones, causing him to begin to tremble uncontrollably. Feeling helpless and frightened, he stood up hastily and wanted to leave the room, but was held down by the man next to him. At this moment, Zhuo Yue was like a frightened animal, running around recklessly driven by his escape instinct. He tried to shake him off but was pinned on his back on the sofa.

“Let me go…” There was a hint of suppressed anger in the trembling voice, and Zhuo Yue struggled even more fiercely.

Fear of camera-like objects, drug abuse, excessive panic, and depression were all manifestations of his post-traumatic stress disorder. After experiencing that molestation incident, his clean and safe world was completely destroyed.

However, at first, before he became a pile of ruins, it could be repaired.

Fang Mingyan knew this very well.

When Zhuo Yue pretended to be leaving as if nothing had happened, he overly optimistically estimated Zhuo Yue’s mental state and agreed to let him leave. After that, he only asked lightly a few times, and after receiving Lin Hui’s report that there was nothing abnormal, he no longer paid any attention. At that time, all he considered was to prevent Zhuo Yue from becoming overly dependent on him, but he did not expect that it would develop into such serious consequences.

He felt guilty about Zhuo Yue. So he wanted to make up for his mistake.

“Master… please…” Zhuo Yue realised that it was impossible for him to break free, and finally stopped his futile resistance. He lay limp, not daring to look in the direction of the camera, and begged incoherently under the man, “I was wrong, hit me, please hit me, take it away…let me go…” Zhuo Yue, who had been relying on drugs to maintain his composure, was now pushed to the edge of collapse again. His clear eyes had lost focus and he just begged meaninglessly over and over again.

Looking at Zhuo Yue begging like this, Fang Mingyan felt as if a hand penetrated his chest and squeezed his heart tightly. Suffocation and dull pain were mixed together in the chest in a bloody mess. “Look at me.” Slender fingers touched the side of the person’s face, getting closer to each other. The man began his grip forcefully but gently, “Slave, concentrate on looking at me.”

Zhuo Yue’s eyes finally focused, and his eyelashes trembled slightly like insect wings entangled in spider webs.

“Yes, just keep looking at me.” The man’s deep, cello-like voice seemed to hypnotise him, soothing his restless emotions. “You’re not allowed to look anywhere else, not allowed to look at anything else. Your eyes should only be focused on me.”

Zhuo Yue gasped, using his remaining sanity to force himself to obey the order, trying his best to keep his eyes focused.

“Relax, don’t tighten yourself up so much.” Fang Mingyan stroked his hair, gently and patiently, “I’m by your side, I will always…”

At this moment, the cell phone on the table suddenly rang, interrupting the man’s words.

After finally concentrating, his attention was disturbed by the sudden sound. Zhuo Yue, who had gradually calmed down, glanced at the camera again.

Everything was out of control in an instant.

He suddenly struggled with strength, almost overturning the person on him. The two were entangled in control and resistance. Fang Mingyan deliberately restrained his strength for fear of hurting him, while Zhuo Yue, who was tortured by fear, had no inhibition at all, and it became even more difficult to subdue him for a while. When the man held him down again, Zhuo Yue let out a cry of despair, like a trapped animal with nowhere to escape.

“Look at me!” Fang Mingyan held his wrist tightly and said in a deep voice, “If you dare to move again, I will tie you to the camera.”

“Please, I can’t do it… I can’t do it…” Zhuo Yue had no strength left and spoke tremblingly, “Let me go…”

“Except for completing the order, you have no possibility of leaving here.” The man supported his body on his elbows and pressed him down. “I’ll give you three minutes. If you can keep your eyes on me for three minutes from now, I will let you out of the study. Every time you fail, your time with this camera will be doubled.”

Zhuo Yue had no right to choose at all and could only obey.

Every second of the three minutes was as painful as a year. He bit his lip and tried not to think about the empty eye socket. The person in front of him became his only support. He shrunk his body and grabbed Fang Mingyan’s hand as if seeking refuge, so hard that the knuckles on his hand turned slightly white.

“I will be here, always with you.” The man gently brushed the sweaty hair from his forehead.

His eyes moved and his eyes turned red, “I hurt you.”

Only then did Fang Mingyan feel a slight pain in his neck. He must have been scratched in the previous chaos. The mist in Zhuo Yue’s eyes gradually filled up and formed a transparent drop of water in the corner of his eye. He was still trembling, like a small animal shivering in the cold wind. He choked out, “I’m sorry…Master, I’m sorry…”

The man knew the cruel method he used, knew Zhuo Yue’s fear, and knew how hard he worked to obey orders under such conditions. This kind of obedience was based on Zhuo Yue’s trust in himself. He wanted to follow orders, but couldn’t control himself, so he felt so apologetic and uneasy.

Fang Mingyan’s dark and deep eyes were filled with soft dark light. Just as Zhuo Yue was sobbing and apologizing, he leaned over and pressed his lips to his, sealing the next unsaid ‘I’m sorry’ in his mouth.

The face in front of him suddenly enlarged, and a warm aura lingered in his breath. The soft feeling when the lips touched made Zhuo Yue freeze completely. His mind went blank, he just stared at the other person with his eyes wide open.

Chapter 44 – Red Bean (2)

His Majesty the Emperor had a rare long honeymoon vacation, and of course, he could not spend it carelessly. Qin Yun didn’t mind; as long as he was not stuck in bed all day, he was fine with any way of spending it… Of course, the plan guide was still made by Moschery.

“I still need to write a strategy…” Qin Yun looked at the Emperor and took out a pink diary with a rhinestone on it, “Can I read it?”

Moschery glanced at him, “No.” He refused, “I want to give you a surprise, it wouldn’t be fun if you knew in advance.”

“…” Qin Yun: “Being with you makes my skin crawl all over the ground…”

Moschery pursed his lips and complained unhappily, “What do you know.”

       Qin Yun: “??”

The Emperor obviously didn’t have any hope in his guide’s sentimental sense, so he could only give up and change the subject, “Have you thought of a name for your spiritual link?”

“?!” Qin Yun was shocked, “You still need to think about a name?!”

Moschery’s face darkened, “Did you spend time in the low-level guide circle for nothing?”

Qin Yun: “It’s a low-level guide circle! Who can give a good name to a single-celled organism… Sennas’ spiritual link is a paramecium1caoluchong, Chongchong for short!”

“…” Moschery, “Then what name do you want to give it?”

Qin Yun thought for a while: “Well it’s a unicorn, so Hornhorn2unicorn is dujiaoshou and jiaou is horn. Qin Yun basically has 0 sense for naming!”

       Moschery: “…”

Qin Yun worked very hard to educate His Majesty the Emperor on the peculiarities of ancient Imperial Chinese citizens in giving nicknames to their children. He believed his approach was correct, but unfortunately, Moschery disagreed.

“Don’t even think about calling me Momo!” Moschery gritted his teeth and said, “You can’t think of such a stupid name.”

Qin Yun: “…Isn’t your middle name Xi Zhao? And you’re called Xixi?”

       “…” Moschery: “Shut up!”

Qin Yun had no choice but to compromise, “Alright, then you come up with one. I’ll go with whatever you suggest, okay?”

Moschery gave him a suspicious look.

“It’s true!” Qin Yun sat upright to show his sincerity, “You name it! I like whatever you call it!”

Moschery snorted. His expression finally improved, and he thought seriously for a long time before answering, “Let’s call it Ishtar.”

“…” Qin Yun was stunned for a long time without reacting, “Is, Ish what?”

“Ishtar.” Moschery repeated patiently, “The Babylonian goddess of nature and harvest, who is also responsible for love, fertility and war, her name means star.”

Qin Yun opened his mouth, “Although I think you are very good at history… but do you have to choose such a complicated name? He is a boy!”

       Moschery: “…”

The male (?) unicorn that was given the name of a goddess didn’t have much reaction. Qin Yun wondered if it was a little stupid because it had been locked up for so long, but looking at Zhongyan… He felt that his Ishtar was actually pretty good?

The unicorn was walking in the garden, still unable to fly, its white feathered wings folded at its sides.

Zhongyan was with it. The dragon’s legs were a bit short, and the sight of it trying hard to chase after the figure in front was truly heartwrenching…

Qin Yun looked at it for a while and shouted, “Ishtar!”

The unicorn raised its neck slightly and stared at him from a distance with its golden eyes.

“It’s really not approachable at all.” Qin Yun muttered. He took a few steps closer before Ishtar lowered his head and rubbed the guide’s palm with the spiral horn.

Qin Yun smiled and rubbed its golden mane, “It seems you like this name very much.”

The unicorn lightly shook its spiral horn.

Moschery had written the plan, and when he came out, he saw Qin Yun standing far away like teaching a child to walk, teasing Ishtar to fly to him, and Zhongyan running around with his huge wings spread, as considerate as an old hen trying to set an example for the spiritual link partner…

No matter how enthusiastically people tried to train, Ishtar remained the same. The beautiful unicorn leisurely strolled with elegance and pride. Occasionally, it swayed her pristine wings on its back, and the golden mane shimmered with a gentle halo in the sunlight.

“Ishtar.” His Majesty the Emperor stood on the steps with his hands behind his hands. He called calmly, “Come here, Ishtar.”

The unicorn raised its neck slightly, and Qin Yun watched in surprise as his spiritual link spread its wings as if gliding and landed in front of Moschery.

Ishtar lowered its head and let the Emperor stroke its spiral horns docilely.

“Good girl.” Moschery gave a rare smile.

“It obviously doesn’t pay attention to me…” Qin Yun was a little annoyed. He walked to Moschery’s side, imitated the emperor’s movements, and held Ishtar’s head, “Hmm… don’t you love me?”

“The state of the spiritual link directly reflects the owner’s emotions,” Moschery said lightly. He looked at Qin Yun and raised his eyebrows, “It comes here because you want to come to me.”

“…” Qin Yun half-opened his mouth stupidly. When he realised what he was doing, his face turned red, and he stuttered at a loss: “Then, what…”

Moschery suddenly interrupted him, “It’s the same with me.” The Emperor spoke loving words expressionlessly, “Zhongyan loves you to death. what do you think it’s because of?”

       Qin Yun: “…”

The Emperor’s honeymoon itinerary involved playing through all the seven dragon balls occupied ABCDEFG Stars… However, Qin Yun had to do something before leaving.

Shen Zhuofan was walking around with lions in the back garden of the Duke’s Palace. Several male lions flipped their bellies around him and begged to be petted. When Qin Yun rushed in with a flying machine, Shen Zhuofan simply didn’t know what expression to put on…

“…Don’t think that you can be a tyrant after becoming a Queen!” Shen Zhuofan grunted in anger, “The Duke’s residence is private territory, understand?!”

“I don’t care.” Qin Yun smiled and opened the hatch. He pushed Shen Zhuofan in, “Hurry up, brother is taking you to elope!”

       Shen Zhuofan: “…”

The spire building of the Academy of Sciences stands in the downtown area of the Empire. Chris has enjoyed an exclusive and luxurious office since he arrived. When Qin Yun arrived, he was about to take a nap. But before he could close his eyes, he saw an aircraft hanging in the air outside the floor-to-ceiling window, the royal aircraft that was covered with rhinestones…

“…” Chris said with a headache, “You’re driving around with something that affects the cityscape so much, and the traffic police don’t fine you?!”

Qin Yun said proudly, “I have an S-level pass.”

Chris rolled his eyes. He opened the door to the laboratory and looked at Shen Zhuofan, “I have seen you, the most powerful guide representative in the history of Averio Academy. Your photo is still on the list of excellence.”

Shen Zhuofan waved his hand with a serious expression, “A good man doesn’t mention the courage of the past. Don’t be obsessed with this brother; this brother is just a hammer.”

      Chris: “…”

Qin Yun had no experience in treating brain nerves, and neither did Chris. But as a scientist, the most important thing was the spirit of exploration.

“Actually, whether it’s guide or sentinel, the key lies in genes, so the brain nerve destroyer is just a powerful suppressant that suppresses the guide’s mental power.” Chris couldn’t help but start explaining out of professional habit, “Let me put it this way, it’s like diseases. Some diseases just cause minor issues with your cells and blood, but others can damage human genes. The latter often comes with genetic factors and is both rare and difficult to study.”

Shen Zhuofan frowned and said, “So you mean my guide gene is still there?”

“Of course.” Chris spread his hands, “Otherwise, why would you still produce Bonding Heat every month after being marked, even though you no longer have the ability to guide? Your guide genes persist, and you’ve acquired the genetic memories of the other… How was that phrase again? The ultimate result of love is possessing fragments of each other’s genes?”

Qin Yun: “…What you said makes so much sense that I don’t even have the energy to complain.”

Chris laughed loudly, “The title of number one scientist in Olympus is not a bluff!” He seemed to have thought of something and mysteriously began to rummage through the boxes, “I’ve had some free time lately, so I’ve been researching a lot of new things.”

Qin Yun looked at him and took out his glasses, “What are these?”

“Dimensional glasses.” Chris adjusted the glasses, “Ordinary people’s consciousness can generally only see three-dimensional space, but because the consciousness of sentinel and guide is higher than ours, it can see another dimensional space, where the spiritual link is generated. “

Shen Zhuofan stared at Chris with a look like we were all just studying in a class.

The latter was greatly encouraged and continued to promote, “So I used geometric dimensions to study this pair of glasses… which can allow ordinary people to see the spiritual link between sentinel and guide!” He paused and looked at Qin Yun, “Do you want me to explain the principles of geometric dimensions?”

       Qin Yun: “…”

“So.” Chris put on his glasses with a solemn expression. He stared at Qin Yun and said excitedly, “Quickly summon your god-level spiritual link and try it. If it succeeds, the empire’s taxes will be paid for the next hundred years!”

Chapter 42 – Little Black Cat

Song Jun didn’t know when he fell asleep, or it would be more appropriate to say when he had fainted.

It was still dark when he woke up. It was Long Xing who pushed him awake. He opened his eyes in confusion and couldn’t remember where he was for a while.

Long Xing said to him, “Get up quickly. People will come to the park to exercise at dawn. You will be taken as perverts.”

Song Jun suddenly came to his senses and found that Xia Hongshen was still lying on top of him, having returned to her human appearance.

“Xia…Senior Brother Xia?” Song Jun still hasn’t recovered from yesterday’s shock.

Long Xing knelt down beside Xia Hongshen and Song Jun and also reached out to push Xia Hongshen, “Teacher Xia?”

Xia Hongshen slowly opened his eyes and took a look at him, then yawned tiredly and was about to close his eyes and continue sleeping.

Song Jun came to his senses at this time and pushed Xia Hongshen hard together with Long Xing, “Don’t sleep! Get up quickly!”

Xia Hongshen finally opened his eyes and sat up from Song Jun.

Both he and Song Jun still had bloodstains on them. Somehow, Song Jun recalled the events of last night and felt that Xia Hongshen was somewhat frightening. Just a glance from Xia Hongshen made him quickly turn his head away.

But Long Xing reached out and touched Xia Hongshen’s leg and asked, “Are you injured?”

Xia Hongshen rolled up his trousers and saw that there were indeed deep bite marks on his calf. Although it was no longer bleeding, the wound was still visible. His own physical recovery ability was very strong, so he didn’t care and said, “Ignore it.”

They left the park before dawn, and Long Xing drove Xia Hongshen and Song Jun back to the campus.

In addition to being a little scared about what happened last night, Song Jun also thought that he knew too many incredible things at once and had complicated emotions. He found it challenging to easily distinguish what was true and what was false. Now, he struggled with how to face these things.

The next day, Song Jun forced himself to gather his spirits. He attended classes and went to the lab as needed. Just after returning to the dormitory in the afternoon, Song Jun received a call from Bu Hui, asking him to have dinner with Xia Hongshen in the evening. Bu Hui also mentioned for Song Jun to inform Xia Hongshen after returning to the dormitory.

Song Jun hesitated and asked, “Is Senior Brother Xia in the dormitory?”

Bu Hui said, “He was there until I went out in the afternoon.”

After hanging up the phone, Song Jun stood at the door of Xia Hongshen’s room and knocked on the door. After knocking for a while, there was no response. Just when he was about to call Bu Hui back and let Bu Hui call Xia Hongshen, the door opened.

Xia Hongshen stood at the door, wearing a pair of trousers and an open white shirt, revealing his strong and smooth chest.

       Song Jun suddenly blushed.

When Xia Hongshen saw Song Jun, he reached out and hugged him and then immediately went back to the room and lay down on his single bed.

Song Jun was stunned for a moment, then walked in and saw Xia Hongshen lying on the bed holding the quilt, looking very sleepy. This was the first time Song Jun has seen Xia Hongshen like this.

He hesitated for a while and finally walked to the edge of the bed, sat down, and called out ‘Senior Brother Xia’.

Xia Hongshen didn’t respond at first, but after a moment, he said ‘hmm’ softly.

Song Jun came closer and asked, “Are you sick?”

Xia Hongshen suddenly opened his eyes and looked at him.

Song Jun was startled, afraid that Xia Hongshen would suddenly jump up and bite him, so he couldn’t help but retreat.

But Xia Hongshen just glanced at him, then closed his eyes and said, “No.”

Song Jun’s rapid heartbeat gradually calmed down. Seeing Xia Hongshen completely wrapped in the blanket, with messy hair and an overall dispirited appearance, Song Jun couldn’t help but feel a twinge of heartache.

It was true that he was a little afraid of Xia Hongshen now, but he also liked Xia Hongshen, and he knew it better than anyone else.

Son Jun couldn’t help but reach out and touch Xia Hongshen’s hair. He found that it was unexpectedly soft.

Xia Hongshen seemed to find it comforting. He moved his head slightly and rubbed against Song Jun’s palm.

Seeing that Xia Hongshen found comfort, Song Jun gently stroked Xia Hongshen’s head, thinking that perhaps most furry animals enjoyed being petted like this.

After a while, Song Jun heard someone knocking on the door outside. He quickly retracted his hand and blushed. He hurriedly ran to open the door and saw that the people who appeared outside the door turned out to be Long Xing and Feng Junyuan.

Long Xing didn’t seem surprised to see Song Jun, he turned around and pulled Feng Junyuan in.

       Feng Junyuan looked unhappy.

Long Xing pulled him to the bedside, squatted down and rolled up Xia Hongshen’s trouser legs to show Feng Junyuan.

Only then did Song Jun realise that the injury on Xia Hongshen’s leg showed no signs of healing at all.

Feng Junyuan glanced sideways and said, “What’s the use of calling me here? I’m not a veterinarian.”

Long Xing said to him, “You should take a look first before talking. I think this wound may not be that simple.”

Song Jun also quickly came closer to take a look and said worriedly, “What’s going on?”

When Feng Junyuan saw Long Xing and Song Jun looking at him eagerly, he had no choice but to sit down by the bed, look carefully at the wound on Xia Hongshen’s leg, and even stretch out his hand to pinch it.

Xia Hongshen woke up, raised hia head to look at them, and said, “What?”

Feng Junyuan frowned. The person lying down was not an ordinary person, so it was meaningless to judge the progress of ordinary people’s wound healing. However, the wound on Xia Hongshen’s leg seemed to contain something that made people feel uncomfortable, and he couldn’t say what it was.

Song Jun asked Feng Junyuan, “Do you need iodine?”

Feng Junyuan rolled his eyes at him, “No need.”

At this time, Song Jun’s cell phone rang. It was Bu Hui, asking if he had spoken to Xia Hongshen yet.

Seeing Xia Hongshen’s condition, Song Jun felt that he might not be able to go to dinner, but he still leaned closer and asked softly, “Senior Brother Xia, Senior Brother didn’t invite you to dinner. Do you want to go?”

Xia Hongshen opened his eyes and said, “I don’t want to go.”

Song Jun quickly said to Bu Hui, “Senior Brother Bu, Senior Brother Xia seems to be sick and can’t go, and I won’t go either. Let’s try another day.”

“Is that so?” Bu Hui said, “Then I will bring you some food in the evening.”

Song Jun responded, “Thank you, Senior Brother Bu.”

After hanging up the phone, Song Jun turned back to look at Xia Hongshen on the bed and was shocked to find that he was gone. Only a small black cat was left on the bed. Song Jun recognised this cat; it was the one that often came into his room to scavenge for food.

Song Jun’s eyes widened, and he pointed at the cat on the bed.

There was a strange silence in the room, and Long Xing said, “Ah, no, he seems to have changed back to its original form.”

Change back to his original from? Shouldn’t it be the big scary monster from last night? Why a little black cat? And this little black cat was Xia Hongshen’s other form? So the cat that had been eating in his dormitory was actually Xia Hongshen?

Song Jun felt that he couldn’t accept it for a while, and he said, “I’m going to wash my face…”

He came to the water room and flushed his face with cold water. Song Jun felt calmer. Xia Hongshen first said he was a deity, and he accepted it. Later, he found out that he was a monster, and he reluctantly accepted it. Now, he was just a little black cat. Why couldn’t he accept it?

When he went back to the room, Song Jun heard Long Xing telling Feng Junyuan that he was going to see Yun Po.

Seeing Song Jun come back, Long Xing said, “Just in time, you can take care of Teacher Xia for the next few days. I will go find Master Yun Po and ask him to find out what happened to Teacher Xia’s injury.”

Song Jun actually didn’t want Long Xing to leave. Perhaps because Long Xing was a policeman, Song Jun always felt that Long Xing was very reliable. He said, “I remember Senior Brother Xia has Master Yun Po’s phone number.”

Long Xing said, “I can’t get through it. I’ll go to the temple to look for it first, hoping to find Master Yun Po.”

Then, Long Xing looked in the direction of Feng Junyuan.

Feng Junyuan seemed a little helpless and said, “I’ll go with you to find Yun Po.”

       Long Xing smiled.

Xia Hongshen was handed over to Song Jun. Before leaving, Long Xing told Song Jun that if anything happened, he could contact him or ask Xi Anling for help.

Song Jun nodded, turned back to look at the little black cat, and reached out to scratch his hair.

The little black cat was still sleeping, looking very sweet.

Later, Bu Hui brought them dinner. Song Jun simply told Bu Hui that Xia Hongshen was seriously ill and his family came to take him back.

“Family members?” Bu Hui was a little surprised, “From so far away?”

Song Jun didn’t know where Xia Hongshen told Bu Hui that his home was, so he could only smile and perfunctorily pass by.

After receiving the dinner brought back by Bu Hui, Song Jun sat in Xia Hongshen’s room to eat. From time to time, he looked back at Xia Hongshen and always felt that it was very strange to associate this kitten with Senior Brother Xia.

Before dinner was finished, Xi Anling came over. She even brought two boxes of milk, saying they were for Xia Hongshen.

Xi Anling seemed neither surprised nor nervous about Xia Hongshen’s state but rather happy.

Song Jun returned to his room and found the small bowl used by the little black cat. Xi Anling poured the milk into it and insisted on feeding it to Xia Hongshen.

The little black cat was sleeping, but after it woke it up, she held it in her arms and put the small bowl in front of it. The little black cat stuck out its tongue and licked it twice, then refused to drink. It struggled to leave Xi Anling’s arms and crawled towards Song Jun.

Xi Anling reached out to grab its tail, but the little black cat turned its head and tried to bite her, so Xi Anling quickly let go.

The little black cat crawled into Song Jun’s arms, put its head on his arm and fell asleep again.

Xi Anling was a little shocked and told Song Jun that she would come and visit when she had time, and then left.

Song Jun gently rubbed the top of the little black cat’s head, stretched out his hand to pinch its hind legs and looked over. When he saw that the wound was still visible, he couldn’t help but feel heartache. He hugged it and kissed the top of its head.

Chapter 17

Pei Qing took another taxi and took Chen Youyou home first.

On the way to Chen Youyou’s house in the cab, Chen Youyou sat in the back seat without saying a word. Zhan Weiyang was next to him and tried to call his name, but he refused to answer. It seemed that he was really angry today.

When the car arrived at the neighbourhood’s gate, Chen Youyou got out of the car and said to Pei Qing, “Thank you, older cousin.”

Pei Qing smiled and said, “You’re welcome, go back and rest quickly.”

Chen Youyou picked up his schoolbag, turned around and ran towards the neighbourhood.

Zhan Weiyang leaned over the car window and looked at his back despondently.

Even after returning home with Pei Qing later, Zhan Weiyang’s mood remained very low.

At this time, both Grandma and Auntie Luo had returned to their rooms to rest. The first floor was quiet, and one needed to listen carefully to hear the sound of the TV coming from Auntie Luo’s room.

Zhan Weiyang walked in front when he went upstairs. He didn’t carry his schoolbag properly. The two straps were slung on his elbows. As he went up the stairs, the fallen schoolbag patted his thigh.

Pei Qing followed him quietly, and the two of them went up to the second floor. When they reached the door of Zhan Weiyang’s room, Pei Qing said, “Is there any homework that must be completed today?”

       Zhan Weiyang shook his head.

Pei Qing said, “Then go take a bath and sleep.”

Zhan Weiyang stared at Pei Qing’s face through the light in the corridor.

Pei Qing continued walking towards his room.

Zhan Weiyang suddenly heard the woman’s voice coming from inside his head, “The relationship status has been negatively increased, and 2 points have been deducted.”

His points had not been deducted for several days. At this time, it was like someone took a pair of scissors and cut a string inside his head. He said, “It’s over.”

Pei Qing had already touched the door handle with his hand. He stopped and turned back to look at Zhan Weiyang. He saw Zhan Weiyang standing there with a dull expression as if he had been frozen.

He could only let go of his hand, walked back to Zhan Weiyang, raised his hand to wave it in front of Zhan Weiyang’s eyes, and asked, “What’s over? Don’t be afraid, Chen Youyou won’t explode, he is just describing his mood.”

Zhan Weiyang’s gaze followed the movement of Pei Qing’s swaying palm up and down. After a while, his gaze fell on Pei Qing’s face and said, “My points are about to be deducted.”

Pei Qing asked him, “What points will be deducted?”

Zhan Weiyang seemed a little alarmed, but he was unwilling to answer Pei Qing’s question.

Pei Qing bent down slightly, allowing Zhan Weiyang to look at him at eye level, and asked in a different way, “What will happen after the points are all gone?”

This question stunned Zhan Weiyang, his round eyes showing some confusion, “All gone?” He repeated Pei Qing’s question.

Pei Qing said, “Yes, what will happen after the points are all gone?”

Zhan Weiyang’s eyes flickered, and his brows couldn’t help but frown. He said, “I might…become a plant.” This was not the answer someone told him, it was an idea that suddenly popped up in his head. He didn’t even know why he answered like this.

Pei Qing’s eyelashes trembled slightly, and he pursued Zhan Weiyang and asked, “What plant?”

Zhan Weiyang raised a hand to his chest, “A tall plant with green leaves, doesn’t bloom, and grows in a flower pot.”

Pei Qing said, “All plants have names.”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him strangely, “My name is Zhan Weiyang.”

Pei Qing didn’t ask any more questions. He stood up straight and put his hand on Zhan Weiyang’s shoulder, “Who is deducting your points?”

Zhan Weiyang shook his head, “I don’t know.”

Pei Qing looked at him silently.

Zhan Weiyang suddenly felt embarrassed after being looked at for a long time. His ears turned red, and he lowered his head as he tiptoed back and forth restlessly.

Pei Qing just said in the end, “Go to bed quickly, you need a good sleep.”

       Zhan Weiyang nodded.

The two of them separated and went back to their rooms.

Zhan Weiyang sat on the edge of the bed, put his schoolbag on his lap, unzipped it and took out the mobile phone inside. The mobile phone was almost out of battery, but he could see a dozen missed calls from Chen Youyou. Although he had already apologised, Zhan Weiyang was still very sad. He sent a message to Chen Youyou, saying: ‘Youyou, please don’t be angry with me. After another—’, he stopped typing here suddenly and started counting; he now only had 42 points left, and with 2 points deducted a day, that would be 21 days left. He continued typing: ‘—21 days, you won’t be able to see me.’

He sighed and put the phone aside. The plant that was as high as his chest and had green leaves but no flowers suddenly took root in his heart. It was as if this System had been set up like this from the beginning. He thought that when the points were deducted, he would become a plant in a flowerpot, unable to move or speak.

But in this way, it was not that Chen Youyou couldn’t see him; at least Chen Youyou could still come to visit him, so he added: ‘You can still come to visit.’

He thought he would tell Chen Youyou about this on the first day after his points were all gone, so that he would come to see him later.

After taking a shower, Zhan Weiyang put on long-sleeved pyjamas. He lay on the bed depressed and listened to the female voice say, “The user’s score today: 42 points.”

Zhan Weiyang turned over. He was suddenly afraid and huddled under the quilt. His mood did not calm down for a while.

So he got up, put on his slippers, left his room, walked to the next door and knocked on Pei Qing’s door.

Pei Qing was not asleep yet. He was sitting on the bed reading a book with a lamp on in the room. He heard a knock on the door and said, “Please come in.”

Zhan Weiyang opened the door a crack, poked his head in, looked at Pei Qing and said, “Can I talk to you for a while?”

Pei Qing nodded, “Come in and talk.”

Zhan Weiyang pushed the door open a little, walked in and closed the door again. He walked to Pei Qing’s bedside and said, “Qing ge, you must not tell my father what I told you.”

Pei Qing put down the book and asked Zhan Weiyang, “What are you referring to? The matter of you getting demerits or the matter of you turning into a plant?”

Zhan Weiyang said nervously, “Don’t say either.”

Pei Qing suddenly felt like chatting with Zhan Weiyang. He scooted over and patted the bed, saying, “Yangyang, come sit down and talk.”

Zhan Weiyang seemed hesitant, and it took him a long time to sit beside Pei Qing’s bed and only put half of his buttocks on it.

Pei Qing asked him, “You don’t want me to tell Uncle, then tell me first, who told you that your points are getting deducted?”

       Zhan Weiyang shook his head.

Pei Qing had no choice but to continue asking, “What did you do to get points deducted?”

Zhan Weiyang still shook his head.

Pei Qing said, “If you refuse to tell me anything, then there is nothing I can do.”

“I’m sorry!” Zhan Weiyang was afraid that Pei Qing would be angry, so he quickly apologised, “I was wrong, don’t be angry with me.”

His tone was so pitiful that Pei Qing couldn’t bear to question him anymore, so she said, “It’s okay, go to sleep.”

Zhan Weiyang didn’t want to get up, so he asked, “Can I sleep next to you tonight?”

Pei Qing actually hesitated but still replied, “Okay.”

Zhan Weiyang suddenly became happy. He went back to his room, brought a pillow and quilt, placed them next to Pei Qing, and lay them down very gently.

Pei Qing reached out, turned off the light, then pulled up the quilt and lay down.

Zhan Weiyang couldn’t help but get closer to him, so close that Pei Qing could smell the fragrance of Zhan Weiyang’s shower gel. It was a refreshing and soft smell, just like Zhan Weiyang.

Pei Qing turned over, facing away from Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiyang closed his eyes. If his points were really going to be all gone, he would definitely tell Pei Qing in advance, hoping that Pei Qing could help him water himself by then.

Chapter 23 – Closer

Fang Mingyan lowered his gaze and smiled. In fact, the entire day had been torture for him. He had violated the BDSM code that he himself had been involved in creating and forced Zhuo Yue to become a slave. He forced Zhuo Yue to stay in that hell-like room and watched him collapse. Seeing Zhuo Yue trembling with fear, he even began to wonder whether what he did was right or wrong. Just as Zhuo Yue secretly went downstairs, he used the remote control to unlock the door and called a car.

He thought Zhuo Yue would leave, so he made up his mind to let him go.

However, when Zhuo Yue reappeared in front of him, there seemed to be a crack in his heart, letting in the wind and moonlight. He stared into the eyes wet with tears, held the helpless man in his arms, gently stroked his back, and asked, “Does it still hurt?”

Zhuo Yue buried his head on his shoulder, nodded and said, “It hurts.”

“Be a good boy, and you won’t be punished.”

They were close to each other, and the warmth in the embrace made Zhuo Yue feel a little enlightened. His long eyelashes trembled, and he gently rested his chin on the man’s shoulder and closed his eyes tiredly, “I understand, Master.”

It was the first time he took the initiative to use that title.

That night, the exhausted Zhuo Yue lay on the carpet beside the bed and fell into a vague dream little by little with the even breathing of the person on the bed. When he woke up, the bed was empty.

It had been too long since he had slept so naturally, and when he woke up, he found everything very relaxing. He stood up and opened the curtains, and the slightly dazzling sunlight shone in, coating his naked body with a layer of fluorescent light. He touched the leather collar around his neck. What happened yesterday was not an illusion. There was a new set of utensils placed in the bathroom. After washing, he took two deep breaths in front of the mirror to calm down and then went downstairs.

The tall trees outside the floor-to-ceiling window of the living room had lost all their leaves, and the empty branches had a different kind of beauty in winter. The man was sitting on the single sofa by the window, reading a book. The slender legs were crossed casually, the posture was upright, and the black shirt had a somewhat solemn aura. Hearing the sound on the stairs, he raised his eyes and looked over.

Zhuo Yue felt a little nervous, pursed his lips, and called out in a low voice, “Master.”

“Come here.” Fang Mingyan put down the book in his hand and said.

He walked over, hesitated, knelt down next to the sofa, and tried to straighten his upper body as taught yesterday.

There was a gentle smile on the man’s lips. He touched Zhuo Yue’s head and asked, “Did you sleep well last night?”

He replied with some embarrassment, “I was sleeping so deeply that I didn’t even notice you were up.”

“From today on, any medication you take will require my prior approval. Do you understand?”

Zhuo Yue knew that the man would never let himself take sleeping pills and psychotropic drugs again, so he pursed his lips and said, “I understand.”

“Until I make other arrangements, you can use the master bedroom to rest for the time being. From today on, you will cook three meals. Write down the ingredients you need in the kitchen book a day in advance, and I will have them prepared.” Fang Mingyan handed him a piece of paper on the small table, “This is your schedule, it details what you need to do.”

Zhuo Yue reached out to pick it up, but the other party didn’t let go. He raised his head in surprise and saw the man looking at him lightly with raised eyes. He was stunned for a moment before he realised what he was doing and took it with both hands. The other man then let go of his hand. The form planned out a week’s schedule for him in great detail, including what time to get up to prepare breakfast and what time to go to bed. There was also fixed time for exercise, reading, and watching movies and TV shows, and he was required to complete assignments to record his experiences. He even included two music training classes per week.

“Your sense of music is so bad, I hired a teacher to give you lessons. I allow you to wear home clothes during class.” He paused, “Slave, whether I am here or not, follow these requirements and manage your time well. There will be consequences if mistakes are made.”

Zhuo Yue shuddered, feeling as if his back was starting to hurt again, and said in a muffled voice, “Yes.”

“In addition, there are some rules that need to be taught to you.” Fang Mingyan patted the outside of his thigh. “The command of this action is to call you and ask you to return to me quickly and kneel down. When I extend my palms flat, it means I ask you to stop where you are, kneel down and wait. Understood?”

He moved his lips but didn’t say what he wanted to say. He replied silently: “Understood, Master.”

“I give you the right to ask questions, just tell me.” The other party saw what he was thinking.

Zhuo Yue asked, “If I didn’t see your gesture and missed the order, will I also be punished?”

The man curled his lips and said, “As a slave, everything about you belongs to me, including your attention. Do you think you should be punished for being distracted and ignoring instructions?”

He was choked by this rhetorical question and could only answer with a blush, “Yes.”

“If you don’t want to be whipped, then focus your attention.” Fang Mingyan glanced at him, “Go and eat the breakfast on the table, and then wash the dishes.”

Breakfast was left for him on the table. The lean meat and preserved egg porridge were probably cooked by the man himself and kept warm carefully. There were still traces of cooking on the cutting board. Zhuo Yue’s heart felt warm, and he looked towards the window and pursed his lips when he met the other person’s gaze.

“What, you don’t want to eat?” Fang Mingyan asked.

Zhuo Yue smiled, “I want to eat.”

This was the first heartfelt smile he had suppressed for a long time. The upturned corners of his mouth showed joy, unabashedly expressing his emotions to another person, as clear and bright as crystal in the sunlight.

As if infected by his smile, the man reading the book unconsciously slightly raised the corners of his mouth.

The conversation last night made Zhuo Yue give up his resistance and try to accept BDSM. This acceptance was based on trust in Fang Mingyan. Fang Mingyan himself knew this very well. Therefore, even though he had always claimed that he had no patience for educating newcomers, he still took a step-by-step approach with Zhuo Yue. He tried his best to create a relatively relaxed environment for this nervous and shy slave so that Zhuo Yue could gradually adapt to his control.

At this moment, Zhuo Yue, who had finished washing the dishes, knelt quietly on the carpet in the living room and ‘waited’. After only about ten minutes, his eyes unconsciously turned from the man sitting on the sofa reading a book to the window. The weather has been getting warmer in the past few days, and a brightly coloured bird flew out of nowhere, swaying its tail feathers and jumping around on the bare branches.

Zhuo Yue’s attention was completely taken away by the bird. It took him a while to come back to his senses. When he met his master’s gaze, he was startled and froze in embarrassment and uneasiness.

“Does it look good?” the man asked with a smirk.

“…It doesn’t look good.” He replied dryly.

“That bird interests you more than looking at me. So I’m less good-looking than it, huh.”

“No, I just…” He wanted to explain, but when he saw the danger hidden in those slightly narrowed slender eyes, he became panicked and tentatively called, “Master…” In this voice, there was a hint of begging for mercy, soft, like the feathers of a young bird. Unfortunately, his master was unmoved and said calmly, “Come here.”

The unknown was unsettling. Zhuo Yue didn’t know how the man would punish him, so he was cautious when he stepped forward.

“Face outward, stand by the window.”

Upon hearing this order, Zhuo Yue froze immediately. Each courtyard of Hanguan was cleaned daily by dedicated personnel. At this time, three uniformed cleaners were working in the courtyard. They were very close to the house, almost right outside the window. And Zhuo Yue was naked except for the collar, without any covering.

“Master…” He looked at Fang Mingyan at a loss, wanting to redeem the order, so he took the initiative to admit his mistake, “I was wrong.”

“Do you need me to say it a second time?” The man’s voice gradually became colder.

Zhuo Yue turned pale and slowly approached the floor-to-ceiling window. When he saw the worker dragging the broom looking his way, he instinctively turned back and bumped into Fang Mingyan who was standing behind him.

The man grabbed both shoulders and turned Zhuo Yue back to the window. He whispered in his ear, “If you move again, I will throw you straight outside.”

Zhuo Yue didn’t dare to move anymore, but at such a close distance, completely nudie, and a situation where there was no escape made all the sense of shame swarm over him. A male star who finally became famous again was naked in someone else’s house, wearing a collar, being trained and played like a pet… He didn’t even dare to think about what kind of headlines would appear on the Internet and in the media when people found out about such an act. He wanted to run away, but the person behind him wouldn’t let him.

His fair body suddenly turned a light blush, his handsome face was even stained with red clouds, and a cold sweat broke out on his back. When the cleaner looked here, he was so nervous that he stopped breathing and could hardly stand still. It wasn’t until the three workers walked past the window, talking and laughing without noticing anything at all, that he breathed a sigh of relief as if he had survived the disaster.

Obviously, there was no way to see it from the outside.

It was all a false alarm.

“Have you learned to concentrate now?” the man behind him asked.

This kind of punishment was more painful than being whipped. The high tension just now made Zhuo Yue almost collapse. After a while, he recovered and said in a muffled voice, “Yes.”

“Kneel down.” After waiting for Zhuo Yue to kneel down obediently, Fang Mingyan raised his chin, adjusted his sight angle to the treetops he was staring at just now, and said lightly, “I am a very tolerant master, and since you want to look at the scenery, I will let you see enough. From now on, keep this position until I agree to your change. Be forewarned, there will be penalties for moving about.” His hand slowly rubbed along Zhuo Yue’s Adam’s apple, “Among those small props, some of the clips are very interesting and will release low-voltage current from time to time. Some body parts are susceptible and will not feel comfortable when being punished.”

Just imagining it made Zhuo Yue feel stiff all over. He was kneeling with his face raised, not daring to move. He just stared up at the branch with concentration, cursing that innocent bird countless times in his heart. Nearly forty minutes had passed by the time the man allowed him to stand up. His neck, which he had been raising, was stiff, and his back was very sore.

Seeing his stifled look, Fang Mingyan found it funny. He patted his leg, asked him to kneel next to him, and touched his cheek, “When I touch you like this, it means I allow you to lean on me.”

Zhuo Yue’s face turned red. He hesitated for a moment before slowly placing his head on the other person’s thigh. A big hand covered the back of his neck, massaging it slowly. He was stunned for a moment, then relaxed his body and leaned down more naturally.

The slanting sunlight lengthened the shadows of the trees. In the quiet room, Zhuo Yue lay obediently on the man’s lap, with soft bangs covering his eyebrows. He suddenly found that he didn’t hate this feeling. He even liked it a little bit.

Chapter 43 – Red Bean (1)

When Moschery woke up, Qin Yun was still asleep, naked and wrapped in a quilt, lying in his arms. The Emperor looked down for a while, then raised his head and looked at the bedside.

The snow-white unicorn lay quietly on the ground; its wings spread flat on both sides of its body.

Moschery walked barefoot in front of it and squatted down gently.

The golden mane was gently twirled by the Emperor’s fingertips. Moschery reached out and carefully touched the spiral horn on the unicorn’s forehead. The other party did not wake up and unconsciously rubbed its muzzle against the Emperor’s palm.

Qin Yun was still dazed and sleepy from being pressed from behind. He felt Moschery kissing his neck, then pulling him out of the covers bit by bit like peeling a silkworm chrysalis.

“…Hmm?” Qin Yun turned his face, and Moschery turned his head and kissed him. The Emperor’s kiss was a bit rough, like a lion patrolling its territory, and it slowly moved from his lips to his earlobe.

Although Qin Yun was not yet awake, he could still feel Moschery’s powerful and unrepressed consciousness cloud. He ‘smelled’ the alluring smell of pheromones on the other person’s body, and his mental energy boiled and burned uncontrollably.

Moschery sniffed the back of his neck a few times and whispered, “You’re having Bonding Heat.”

“?” Qin Yun’s expression was confused. He felt his erect lower body being caressed by the Emperor. The back hole, which had only last night undergone a pleasurable session of lovemaking, readmitted Moschery’s thrusts with ease.

Qin Yun raised his neck impatiently. Moschery’s consciousness cloud merged with his mental power. Every hard thrust of the Emperor was unruly with each one, with nothing but the most primal of desires and urges.

“After the final marking, you can only be mine.” Moschery pinched Qin Yun’s chin, forcing him to raise his head. He stared into his guide’s eyes, “You can never leave me.”

Qin Yun slept until almost noon before he shook his head sleepily. He was hugged by Moschery around the waist and raised his upper body for a long time before he grabbed the electronic clock next to the pillow.

The Emperor also woke up. He reached out and held Qin Yun’s arm, turned him over, then lowered his head and blocked the other person’s mouth.

“…” Qin Yun could only wait until he finished kissing her before he had the strength to complain, “I’m starving… I haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”

Moschery pushed his semi-erect shaft against the other party’s ass in a somewhat obscene manner, “Haven’t I fed you yet?”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Moschery, who was disturbed by Zhongyan, finally released the giant dragon from the realm of consciousness. Qin Yun’s unicorn, lying by the bed, only lifted its eyelids slightly at Zhongyan’s appearance.

However, Qin Yun hugged the dragon for a long time because he hadn’t seen it for a long time.

But Zhongyan was obviously more interested in his spiritual link. When he first saw the unicorn, the dragon was so excited that he shed a lot of tears…

“…” Moschery, “Can you shut your mouth?”

       Zhongyan: “…”

Moschery looked at it with disgust, “Don’t keep raising your wings to cover your face. No matter how ugly you are, it will always be seen.”

       Zhongyan: “QAQ”

Bixi was the second person to learn that Qin Yun had regained his guide ability, and she seemed unsurprised when she saw the unicorn.

“He has grown up just like you.” Bixi stroked the golden mane on the spiritual link’s back, “Do you still remember that he followed you around the pasture before you were 8 years old?”

Qin Yun suddenly realised, “So this is the white pony you mentioned?”

Bixi smiled, “God-level can self-hypnotize. I just taught you the process… The only way to remove it is to rely on a sentinel of the same level to use consciousness cloud to break the restriction.” She paused and said slyly, “In other words, just forcing you to get Bonding Heat.”

       Qin Yun: “…”

“As expected, I have to fvck you.” Moschery said calmly. He pinched Qin Yun’s neck, “It seems that I will hurt you more in the future.”

       Qin Yun: “……”

Zhongyan lay face to face in front of the unicorn. It seemed to be very shy and always covered its face with its wings, but it couldn’t help but secretly reveal its eyes to see the unicorn’s reaction.

The latter remained calm as usual, occasionally flapping the snow-white wings on his back a few times while his golden eyes stared gently at the black dragon.

Zhongyan looked extremely shy. Qin Yun thought to herself that it was lucky that he was dark coloured; otherwise, it would be impossible to imagine how beautiful this guy’s face was when it blushed…

The giant dragon suddenly squatted down, shook its wings, and dropped a bunch of rhinestone pendants that Qin Yun usually attached to him. It looked at the unicorn expectantly, then he stretched out his dragon claws and carefully pushed his favourite Toothless in front of the unicorn.

       Unicorn: “……”

Zhong Yan tilted its head and looked at the unicorn. It hesitated for a moment and then pushed an oversized Kitty cat rhinestone pillow against it.

The unicorn lowered its light golden eyelashes and looked silently at the giant dragon’s drool on Kitty Cat…

Zhong Yan stared at it with fascination, and another drop of saliva fell to the ground with a ‘splat’ at the corner of the mouth…

Lin Dongliang was speechless for a long time when he saw Qin Yun’s spiritual link. The Secretary of State rubbed his forehead with a headache, “No wonder Tristana and I couldn’t cure your brain nerves at that time… You are not a low-level guide at all…”

“God-level has a powerful self-healing function.” Shen Zhuofan mused. Although he couldn’t see it, with the vast amount of guide knowledge in his mind, he could almost imagine the level of god-level, “What’s more, you have been raising it since you were 8 years old. Now that you have accumulated so much energy…a destructive agent cannot destroy all of your mental power.”

Qin Yun smiled, “Actually, it still has an effect.” He stroked the unicorn’s spiral horn, “It doesn’t have the ability to fly for a short period… the wings are a bit atrophied. It’s currently recovering.”

“…” Shen Zhuofan said contemptuously, “Isn’t it because you haven’t let him fly for too long that he has degenerated?!”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Lin Dongliang comforted him, “It’s okay… This is a blessing in disguise… But we can all see your spiritual link. Does that mean your god-level gene fusion is higher than His Majesty’s?”

       “I don’t know either…” Qin Yun frowned, If I am also a gene duplicate, whose duplicated… “

“You are not a genetic copy at all.” Bixi interrupted him, “And certainly you are not a clone.” She looked at the unicorn lying quietly on the ground, “The reason why Olympus cannot develop a successful god-level guide is because they think that the guide, like sentinel, can genetically evolve through scientific means and eventually fused or copied for a new god-level guide.”

“Under the protection of the sentinel, mankind finally survived, but the genetic defects that followed caused a rapid decline in the population until the first ‘guide’ was born naturally.” Shen Zhuofan recited softly, “The Epoch of Sentinel and Guide from a third-year textbook.”

Bixi smiled, “That’s right, history possesses the truest eyes.” She looked at Qin Yun and said softly, “You are the final result of natural evolutionary selection. After more than a hundred years, human evolution has finally drawn a new chapter. It was a perfect ending.”

Moschery pressed Qin Yun under him, and the night wind blew into the room, lifting the curtains by the window. The unicorn lay quietly, its whole body covered with silvery light.

Zhongyan stretched out his huge black wings to wrap around his spiritual link partner, and his dragon muzzle rubbed the partner’s golden mane intimately.

Qin Yun’s whole body was made unbearably hot by the Emperor’s kiss. He raised his legs to wrap around the other’s muscular waist, rubbing his hips against Moschery’s lower body.

“Don’t be so impatient.” Moschery inserted slowly. He spread his guide’s legs, slapped Qin Yun’s ass in a punitive manner, and said harshly, “Beg me, say please, and I will give it to you.”

Qin Yun: “…” What happened to not hurting me? Sure enough, everything a man said was a lie!!

Notes:
So I was actually a bit confused because at some point the mention of the link is a white colt, and sometimes it’s a white pony. But then since I saw that his spiritual link is actually a unicorn, calling it a pony would be kinda wrong. So I put it as a colt (young horse) instead of pony

Chapter 41 – Demon Market

“What are you going to do with him?” Xiang Wenxi asked Ling Xiao.

Ling Xiao was also a little confused. He crossed his arms on his chest and said nothing.

Xiang Wenxi said, “Do you remember what day tomorrow is?”

       Ling Xiao looked at him.

Xiang Wenxi smiled and said, “The demon market is opening tomorrow. I think it’s better to take Chunjun and sell it. Maybe we can get a good price.”

Ling Xiao said, “Stop talking nonsense!”

“I’m serious,” Xiang Wenxi said to him, “Since we are not sure whether he is really Chunjun, let’s go find someone who knows and ask. I believe Mr. Yun must know. We will take him with us tomorrow. Go to the demon market and let Mr. Yun take a look at him. Maybe we’ll know what’s going on.”

Ling Xiao heard this and replied, “Let me think about it.”

Song Jun finally understood what they said this time. He was a little in disbelief, “You want to sell me?”

Xiang Wenxi said, “What are you afraid of? If you are not really Chunjun, no one will buy you, so don’t worry about it.”

Of course Song Jun believed that he was not Chunjun. He knew better than anyone else that he was just an ordinary person. But Song Jun still couldn’t help but feel terrible about the uncertain future that was coming.

Throughout the night, Xiang Wenxi guarded Song Jun and did not give him a chance to escape.

Song Jun asked Xiang Wenxi, “Where are the fragments of Thousand Years Lamp? What do you plan to do with them?”

Xiang Wenxi said, “This is my brother’s thing. I’ll handle it however I want. I will go to the demon market tomorrow. If the price is right, I will sell it.”

“That’s Senior Brother Xia’s…” Song Jun whispered.

Xiang Wenxi glared at him fiercely, “You killed my brother, and I haven’t settled the score with you yet!”

Song Jun quickly averted his gaze.

Xiang Wenxi took out the fragment from his chest, held it in his hand, looked at it, and then said, “But I don’t feel much sentiment for him. If he’s dead, then so be it.”

When Song Jun heard what he said, he couldn’t help but turn back and look at him.

The yellow-haired boy looked at the fragments in his hand, and he didn’t know what boy was thinking.

After dark the next day, Song Jun was taken out of the house by Xiang Wenxi and Ling Xiao. He didn’t know where the demon market was, but when he heard the name, he remembered a poem he had learned when he was a child called ‘The Street Market in the Sky’.

In that city, there were many places unfamiliar and unknown to you. The ordinary middle-aged people who brushed past you, on a night like that, might have adopted a different form and appeared in a place where humans seldom ventured, living their own lives. Just like back then, when Song Jun followed Xia Hongshen to the City God Temple, who would have thought that such a magnificent temple was nestled in the heart of the city?

With this thought in his mind, Song Jun was immediately disappointed when he saw Ling Xiao driving out an ordinary Jetta1VW Jetta, normal city car, “Are we going like this?”

“How else are we going to get there? Flying?” Xiang Wenxi asked strangely, “Isn’t that just like waiting for the police to come and arrest you?”

Song Jun shook his head and said nothing.

It was already eleven o’clock at night, and Ling Xiao drove slowly, obviously not in a hurry to reach their destination.

Together with these two demons, Song Jun did not dare to ask questions, even if he had questions.

When they arrived at their destination, it was already past twelve o’clock at night. When they got out of the car, Song Jun discovered that this place turned out to be a city amusement park. This amusement park had a history of more than 20 years. When Song Jun was very young, his grandmother once took him to play.

Ling Xiao parked the car in the parking lot.

After they got out of the car, Song Jun looked up and could see the silhouette of the Ferris wheel playing music in the dark night sky in the distance.

       “Let’s go,” Ling Xiao said.

Song Jun followed him and left. At this time, he saw cars driving into the parking lot one after another.

They walked towards the gate of the amusement park. At this time, there was actually someone guarding the entrance check-in area. However, the ticket sales window was already closed.

Song Jun walked between Ling Xiao and Xiang Wenxi. When he was about to enter, the gatekeeper stared at him for a long time. Then he looked at Ling Xiao and Xiang Wenxi and said, “This seems to be a human being, right?”

Xiang Wenxi said, “He is the goods we want to trade tonight.”

The gatekeeper clicked his tongue and said, “It’s against the rules!”

Xiang Wenxi came closer and whispered to him, “He is an immortal soldier who has transformed into a human being. It’s not strange that you can’t recognise him. Just don’t delay the people who know the goods.”

The man hesitated when he heard this, then looked at Ling Xiao. Perhaps he recognised Ling Xiao and finally waved his hand and let them in.

When they were still outside the gate, it was still dark when they looked into the amusement park, but when Song Jun stepped through the gate, he found that the lights in the amusement park were on.

There were strings of colourful lights hanging on the trees on both sides, merry music was playing throughout the amusement park, and all the rides had been activated. Song Jun could hear the voices of many people talking and the happy laughter of children.

The city amusement park usually closed at nine o’clock in the evening. Song Jun had never been here at night. This was the first time he had seen the night view of an amusement park. The Ferris wheel in the distance was spinning slowly in circles, and the neon lights on it were constantly flashing brilliant lights. The entire amusement park was like a fairy tale.

Someone passed by them, and Song Jun looked back at the gate of the amusement park, where guests were entering one after another.

Most of the people who passed by Song Jun had ordinary looks, but they couldn’t help but look surprised when they saw him. When they saw Ling Xiao again, they walked away from them silently.

Xiang Wenxi spun in a circle, joyfully like a small child.

“I like the demon market the most!” he said.

The further inside, the more weird-looking people became. Song Jun saw a golden python running over at a very fast speed, its body spiralling upward, transforming into the upper body of a woman, and said to Ling Xiao, “Ling Xiao, you are here too, how rare it is!”

Song Jun was so frightened that his breath caught, and he hid behind Xiang Wenxi.

The woman had a beautiful face and a good figure, but Ling Xiao obviously ignored her and asked, “Is Mr. Yun here?”

The woman seemed to find it a bit uninteresting and said, “Really boring, coming here just to look for Mr. Yun, I have no idea.” After saying that, she circled away and left.

Song Jun watched the monster with a human head and a snake body wander away and suddenly realised that this was really the so-called demon market. The people around him might be strange or ordinary, but it might just be a disguise. They were all demons, usually hidden in this place. Everywhere in the city, just like Ling Xiao and Xiang Wenxi, but on such an occasion that only belonged to them, they would show off their original strange form with abandon.

Song Jun was probably the only human to sneak in. He followed Ling Xiao and attracted countless attention. However, because Ling Xiao was leading the way, no one came out to grab him and ask him how he got in.

He couldn’t help but look around and saw a giant panda standing in the middle of the road not far ahead, holding a stack of masks and selling them.

The masks looked ordinary, like those you would often see at a masquerade party.

Ling Xiao took them there and bought each of them a mask.

When Song Jun held it in his hand, he couldn’t help but reach out and pull the hair on the giant panda’s butt. As a result, the giant panda lowered its head to look at him, raised its hand and rubbed its butt.

Song Jun looked at him in surprise and asked, “Is this a real giant panda?”

The giant panda didn’t say anything, rubbed his butt again, raised his paws and pulled two pieces of Song Jun’s hair.

Song Jun held his head and apologised quickly, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

Ling Xiao put the mask on Song Jun and said, “The trade fair is about to start. Let’s go there first.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Song Jun saw several dazzling beams of light falling from the sky on the carousel in front. The large disc of the carousel was rotating happily, accompanied by pleasant music. A man wearing a suit and a mask was standing in front of the carousel with a microphone in his hand as if he was giving an exaggerated speech; he said, “Without further ado, let’s bring out your treasures!”

People in the entire amusement park gathered in this direction.

This was a real trade fair. They didn’t need money; they only exchanged what they needed. If they got a deal, they exchanged it. If not, they just took it back.

Song Jun followed Ling Xiao and the others into the crowd, immediately attracting the attention of a small number of people around them, but it was just a small-scale commotion. Song Jun following Ling Xiao felt more like a follower or a pet; maybe for these monsters, it was not too unusual to bring humans as pets to such places.

The pace of the trade fair was very fast. People who participated in the trade fair brought their things to the host, and the host showed them to everyone. If anyone were willing to trade, they would bring what they wanted to trade.

In a sense, this was also a platform for display. Some demons did not come here to exchange treasures. They were just happy to show their treasures to everyone and get some envious looks.

At first, most of the items that were sent up for trading were some elixirs that could help demons cultivate. Song Jun was not interested in these things, and Ling Xiao and Xiang Wenxi also looked at them with a lack of interest.

So Xiang Wenxi grabbed Song Jun’s hand and said, “Let’s go see Mr. Yun.”

Mr. Yun was a large lizard, rumoured to have lived for a very long time. Throughout his life, he witnessed countless wonders and treasures. Any item that he laid eyes on, he could discern its authenticity.

In the demon market, all items for trading must first pass Mr. Yun’s appraisal.

At this time, Mr. Yun was sitting in a small mushroom house selling drinks. There was a long queue in front of him; all of them were people who had brought things to prepare for transactions.

The person maintaining order saw Ling Xiao and waved him to the front.

The person who was first in line was not happy and was about to protest loudly. When he raised his head and saw that it was Ling Xiao, he immediately shrank back and said, “Whatever.”

Ling Xiao grabbed Song Jun’s hand and threw Song Jun directly onto the high counter of the mushroom house.

There was a little stir around here.

Mr. Yun pushed up his glasses, looked at Song Jun and then at Ling Xiao, and asked, “What does this mean?”

Ling Xiao asked bluntly, “Mr. Yun, can you see his true form?”

Mr. Yun was quite baffled when he heard this. He looked at Song Jun up and down for a long time, and even took off the mask on Song Jun’s face and said, “Isn’t he just an ordinary human being?”

Ling Xiao pulled Song Jun’s hair, forced him to raise his head, and said to Mr. Yun, “Take a good look. This person is none other than the former world-renowned assassin, Chunjun, the unparalleled sword of the past!”

As soon as he finished speaking, there was an uproar around him.

Mr. Yun was so frightened that he stood up and said, “Are you kidding me?”

Ling Xiao said, “You can tell for yourself whether I am joking or not. If you can identify his true identity, I will send him to the trading field today and let everyone compete for him!”

The commotion here was so great that the demons in the trading place over there also looked in this direction.

Song Jun was frightened for no reason when he saw Ling Xiao’s serious expression. Suddenly, he was worried that Ling Xiao was serious about selling him, and he didn’t know what to do.

Mr. Yun frowned, turning over and over to look at Song Jun carefully. He gathered soft light with one hand and slowly explored it from the top of Song Jun’s head down, frowning and shaking his head from time to time.

After more than ten minutes, Mr. Yun stood up straight and said to Ling Xiao, “I don’t know.”

He neither dared to say yes nor said no. He really couldn’t figure out who or what Song Jun was.

Xiang Wenxi and Ling Xiao looked at each other helplessly.

With his mind spinning, Xiang Wenxi suddenly grabbed Song Jun and threw him towards the carousel. Then he rushed to the host and said loudly, “The thing I want to trade today is him,” he pointed at Song Jun, “The former best killing sword in the world—Chunjun!”

Song Jun landed on a merry-go-round and hugged the horse to keep from falling.

There were loud noises all around, and there was obviously a lot of discussion about this matter.

Some people even shouted, “That is Chunjun? How is it possible?”

Xiang Wenxi’s purpose was to gather all the demons hiding near the perimeter. If Mr. Yun didn’t know, maybe someone else would know. Of course, if Song Jun were really Chunjun, he would definitely not be willing to sell him.

There are booing monsters shouting, “Let him show his Chunjun form for us to see.”

Xiang Wenxi said bluntly, “If he didn’t want to, I can’t help it. If anyone has the ability to let him show his form, I am willing to give him this Thousand Years Lamp fragment!” After saying that, Xiang Wenxi pulled out the piece of the Thousand Years Lamp hanging around his neck, causing another lively commotion.

Some people with profound demonic powers were already eager to try.

At this moment, he suddenly heard a clear voice saying, “Did you get my consent before you sold my things?”

       Xiang Wenxi suddenly looked shocked.

The sound was not loud, but people in the entire amusement park could hear it.

Ling Xiao looked up and saw Xia Hongshen holding a silver whip in his hand. He was standing on the top of the carousel, looking down at them.

After he said those words, he suddenly swung the long whip in his hand, splitting the top of the carousel in half and sliding down to both sides.

Xiang Wenxi also reacted quickly. While Xia Hongshen split the top of the merry-go-round, he had already pulled Song Jun back one after another, avoiding the crowd.

At this time, Mr. Yun looked at Xia Hongshen. His whole body trembled, and he exclaimed, “Demon Zhen! It’s Demon Zhen!”

As soon as these two words were uttered, it was as if someone had dropped a bomb within the amusement park. Instantly, the entire amusement park boiled over.

Some were howling desperately to get away, while others had never seen Xia Hongshen’s true face and wanted to get closer.

Only Ling Xiao swelled up and turned into a giant black wolf, rushing toward Xia Hongshen.

Xiang Wenxi said anxiously, “Your injury is not healed yet!”

However, Ling Xiao had already rushed forward, and Xia Hongshen refused to retreat. The long whip in his hand hit the ground hard, and it rebounded and rolled towards Ling Xiao’s front legs.

There was chaos all around. Seeing Ling Xiao rushing towards Xia Hongshen, some people were not in a hurry to escape and stayed in place to watch the fun.

The Demon Market was not just a spontaneous gathering of monsters within a city; it had its own master. How could they easily tolerate Xia Hongshen barging in and disrupting the order of the trading grounds?

The moment Ling Xiao entangled Xia Hongshen, Song Jun saw many ferocious beasts suddenly appearing from all directions, and they all rushed towards Xia Hongshen.

Song Jun felt nervous and shouted loudly, “Senior Brother Xia, be careful!”

Not allowing those demonic beasts to get close, Xia Hongshen suddenly pointed the long whip in his hand and threw it in the direction of Song Jun while he himself raised his head to the sky and transformed into a black beast, his fangs opening up to instantly tear a pouncing and biting demonic beast into two.

Song Jun’s breath suddenly suffocated, and his head went blank.

This was the first time he saw Xia Hongshen in this form, and he felt very scared from the bottom of his heart.

Xiang Wenxi said in his ear, “What Senior Brother Xia? What deity! Demon Zhen is really the most ferocious demon in the world. Only he can sacrifice human souls to refine weapons. Do you still want to go back to him?”

After he finished speaking, he suddenly felt something wrapped around his neck. He lowered his head and pulled it and found that it was Xia Hongshen’s dragon-tip whip.

The dragon tip whip immediately transformed into a dragon shape, strangled Xiang Wenxi’s neck, and shouted, “Song Jun!”

Song Jun still looked in the direction of Xia Hongshen, stunned.

Xia Hongshen bit them mercilessly. He didn’t like to eat demons’ flesh and blood. His favourite food was the souls of dead humans. His purpose was just to kill all the beasts that were blocking his way. In an instant, the flesh and blood of those monsters fell from the sky like rain, and a few drops of warm blood fell on Song Jun’s face.

Among them, only Ling Xiao could resist him for a moment, but it was only for a moment before Xia Hongshen bit him on the neck and threw him away hard.

At this time, Long Xing tore off the Thousand Years Lamp fragments from Xiang Wenxi’s neck with one hand.

“Ling Xiao!” Xiang Wenxi could no longer care about Song Jun and the fragments and tried to get rid of Long Xing and ran in the direction of Ling Xiao.

At this time, other beasts in the amusement park ran out of the way, fearing that they would become Xia Hongshen’s next target.

However, Xia Hongshen was not interested in them. He landed lightly next to Song Jun, took Song Jun directly into his mouth, and ran towards the outside with the dragon tip whip hovering on his tail.

At this moment, dozens more demonic beasts came towards Xia Hongshen to block him. These monster beasts seemed not to be afraid of death and swarmed up to surround Xia Hongshen.

Because Xia Hongshen had Song Jun in his mouth, he could only fill his front paws with spiritual power and slap these monsters away from his face. He saw a few monster beasts with blood-red eyes. They were clearly torn in half by Xia Hongshen’s claws, but they still dragged their mutilated bodies towards them and bit Xia Hongshen’s legs.

Xia Hongshen flicked his tail, and the dragon tip whip slashed out horizontally, cutting all the surrounding monsters into pieces. Xia Hongshen finally broke away from the siege and ran out with Song Jun.

Song Jun had been in a state of fear, knowing that a single powerful bite from these monsters could instantly cut his body in two.

Fortunately, Xia Hongshen did not bite him to death. Instead, he ran to a park near the amusement park and stopped in a forest.

He let go and let Song Jun fall from his mouth.

Song Jun felt that he was covered in blood from Xia Hongshen’s mouth. It was all the blood from the demons just now. He tried to stand up, but the huge demon in front of him raised its front paws and slapped him on the chest to knock him down.

Song Jun lay down on the grass, and due to the soft pads on Xia Hongshen’s claws, he was unharmed.

Then, Xia Hongshen stretched out his forelimbs, pressed his whole body on Song Jun and lay down. He put his big furry head on Song Jun’s shoulder and rubbed it a few times.

Song Jun was a little out of breath, but Xia Hongshen seemed to find a comfortable position on top of him and closed his eyes.

Chapter 22 – Rules

Zhuo Yue’s breath caught in his throat, and there was some unbelievable panic in his eyes.

They both knew the significance of kneeling.

Deep down in his heart, he always felt that he should be different, at least different from the slaves of men before him. He tried to convince himself that the man just wanted to help him get out of his phobia. Even if he established a formal master-slave relationship, he would not really make him a slave who lost his personality.

But now, his expectations were shattered.

       Fang Mingyan was serious.

Zhuo Yue stood where he was for a long time without moving.

The atmosphere in the room became extremely depressing for a minute as the two looked at each other.

“I told you, I’m not very patient.” The man stood up, grabbed his wrist and walked out.

Zhuo Yue staggered a few steps after him. Only when he stepped onto the stairs did he realise he was taking him to the fourth floor, and he suddenly started struggling in panic. However, the hand holding him was as hard to break free as an iron pincer. He was dragged up by the man, stumbling like a broken puppet.

“No…I don’t want to go, Fang Mingyan…” In panic, he called out the man’s name, and his voice was helpless.

The dark and heavy door was in front of him. Zhuo Yue’s whole body began to tremble. He grabbed Fang Mingyan’s nightgown sleeves tightly and cried out in panic, “Master, please… please, Master… ” He was almost dragged up by force. At this time, he was unsteady and fell to his knees on the ground.

In front of the door on the fourth floor, the man finally stopped. His voice was cold and almost ruthless, “Let go.”

Zhuo Yue loosened his hand on the man’s sleeves with red eyes.

“In this house, everything about you is no longer important. All your messy thoughts, shame, and humiliation are worthless in front of me. There is only one thing you have to do—please me.” Fang Mingyan said as he looked condescendingly at him, “I don’t have the patience to teach you slowly. If you can’t learn to be obedient, I will put you in a cage and let those cameras teach you. Do you understand?”

Zhuo Yue glanced at the door closed with fear and replied stiffly, “…I understand.”

“Open your knees as wide as your shoulders, put your hands behind your back, straighten your waist, and show me your body.” The man ordered, “Lift your head and look at me.”

Zhuo Yue did as he was told, and his entire body flushed a peach colour from shame. He knelt stiffly, looking up at the man who had caused him pain and uneasiness.

Fang Mingyan entered the cage and took out a black riding crop. He stood in front of him and said calmly, “Tell me who you are.”

Zhuo Yue was stunned, his face flushed, and he said in a low voice, “A slave.” After saying that, he was whipped on his shoulder, and Zhuo Yue took a breath in pain. His shoulders were burning. He didn’t expect that the other party would attack without warning, and he felt a little aggrieved in his eyes.

“Tell me who you are,” the command repeated, and it was clear that the first answer did not satisfy his master.

Zhuo Yue thought for a moment and replied in a pitiful voice, “I am…your slave, Master.”

       “Tell me your rights.”

The question was changed, so it should be a pass. He breathed a sigh of relief, recalled what the man had said, and replied, “My rights come from what you gave me, Master.”

       “Tell me your duty.”

“My duty is… to please you, Master.” He looked away in embarrassment and avoided looking at him.

“Very good; keep these three points in mind.” Fang Mingyan’s whip stopped at the knot of Zhuo Yue’s throat and slowly picked up, forcing him to look up at the man, “Reflect on what you just did to make me unhappy.”

This humiliating feeling of complete loss of sovereignty made Zhu Yue’s ears turn pale red. However, resistance meant more terrible consequences. He had no choice but to bite the bullet and said, “Just now… I didn’t complete Master’s order, which made you angry…”

“Think clearly.” The man nonchalantly moved the whip down little by little until it reached the secret place covered with thick grass between his legs as if teasing the sensitive genitals. “If the answer does not satisfy me, the punishment will be doubled.”

The rough texture of cowhide rubbed against the sensitive tip, and an indescribable feeling rushed to his head, making Zhu Yue shudder for a moment, but he did not dare to move. His body trembled slightly, and he said, “There… is also the fact that I have just called you by your name.” Then he hastily added, “I was wrong, Master…”.

“Learn well.” Fang Mingyan curled his lips and swept the whip across the sac, causing the man to shiver.

Zhuo Yue, who was kneeling at the moment, had all his attention focused on the man, his eyes looking at him with watery fear and trepidation and some shyness and embarrassment.

“Because of your unconventional behaviour just now, I will punish you next. Six lashes on your back. After each lash, I ask you to count and admit your mistakes. If you make a mistake, the count will start from the beginning.”

The night was as silent as the sea.

There was no sound in the room. In the deep darkness, only a small night light left in the corner of the room gave off a soft yellow light, like a lonely hanging star about to be swallowed up by the night, and like a fish drifting in the deep sea, trying to attract the attention of someone.

The rug was made of thick wool, soft and warm. Zhuo Yue, who was lying on it, moved, and the change in posture caused pain in his spine. He frowned, endured it, and slowly sat up. Insomnia plagued him, and even though he was tired, he couldn’t sleep.

He had just endured eight lashes of the whip. He couldn’t bring himself to say ‘I was wrong’ the first two times but eventually had to succumb to the pain and count off his apologies as commanded by the man, time and time again. His fingers traced over the slightly swollen marks left by the whip on his back.

Fang Mingyan skillfully controlled the force to the point where it was painful enough to cause trembling without blood. What’s even more outrageous was that he was the one who caused all the pain, yet he was so gentle when applying the medicine, whispering softly, and hugging him tenderly, making Zhuo Yue unable to hate him at all.

Zhuo Yue looked at the figure sleeping peacefully on the bed and sat quietly for a long time. He touched the soft leather collar around his neck, and the slight tightening made him feel a little uncomfortable. The collar was tied by the man and it used a fingerprint lock, which he couldn’t open. It served both as a mark of possession, reminding him of his subordinate status, and as a restraint, linked to the bedpost by chains. However, what surprised him was that the ring was not locked due to the other party’s negligence.

After easily untying it, he stood up and grabbed a nightgown, quietly opened the door of the master bedroom and walked out, stopping at the entrance on the first floor.

In front of him was the door that locked him in this strange world.

       Just get out…

He put his hand on the door handle and pressed lightly. After a crisp ‘click’, the door opened. The cold wind from outside flowed in through the cracks, and the slightest coolness seeped in through his skin, causing him to shiver.

There seemed to be two voices arguing in my mind.

──No matter how slim the hope is, we must fight for it. Only by taking this step can we have a chance to leave here… Those ridiculous games of masters and slaves are simply perverse. You can’t stand it…

──Don’t go out, you can’t escape. It will be very miserable once you are caught. Think about those cameras… You know what the consequences will be. Don’t try such a dangerous thing…

──What if those security guards didn’t see you? As long as you can run to another villa you may be rescued. Besides, isn’t it dangerous to stay here? How painful are those whip marks on your back? Fang Mingyan is just a pervert, and he wants to turn you into a slave without personality!

The two thoughts grew crazily like vines, twisting and twisting into a ball, almost bursting his head. Zhuo Yue held the door handle tightly and shook his head in confusion and pain.

──It’s deteriorated to this point; you can’t rely on drugs anymore. You should try his methods… He promised to cure you; haven’t you always trusted him?

──He’s violating human rights! Whip you, and make you kneel down! Who knows if he will make you lick his shoes like a dog tomorrow!

       ──He won’t do that.

       ──How do you know?

       ──I know…

       ──You don’t know!

──I know! I know…he wouldn’t do that. No reason, but I know it.

“…I know.” Zhuo Yue murmured and repeated these words like a mantra. He looked back at the dark living room, right next to the sofa where they had practised acting and kissed; he had rescued him at the c0cktail party and brought him into his sphere of influence; he had helped him walk through it. The endless darkness of the hotel corridor; he once held him and told the story of the Doll Knight…

The hand holding the doorknob loosened, and with a click, the door closed.

As if his heart had stopped at a fork in the road, with so many directions to go in, he couldn’t even take a step. Zhuo Yue squatted down at the entrance, buried his head on his knees, and curled up into a ball.

He didn’t know how long it took, but his legs were so numb that he almost lost all feeling. He trudged back to the third floor, took a deep breath in front of the master bedroom, and then gently opened the door. When he sneaked in carefully and wanted to walk back to the bed, he felt something was different from before. When he looked up, he was suddenly startled and froze on the spot.

The lights were not turned on, the curtains were half-opened, and the bright moon was about to be full. The moonlight filtered in as if a layer of white frost had been spread on the ground. Fang Mingyan stood by the window, facing the light, and the side of his face could only vaguely be seen.

Zhuo Yue felt his head go blank. He moved his lips but failed to make a sound, so he just stood looking at him.

“Come here.” The man’s voice remained steady.

He pursed his lips and walked over slowly. The moonlight melted into tiny streams of colour in those timid eyes, which had a fragile but unique beauty.

Seeing Fang Mingyan raise his hand, Zhuo Yue trembled, and his whole body tensed up. However, the expected slap did not fall. The other party just took off the silk nightgown Zhuo Yue was wearing from his shoulders and let it slide to the ground. Zhuo Yue, who was naked again, looked at the man in front of him anxiously, not daring to move.

“Where are you going?” he asked in a low voice.

“I… just couldn’t sleep, so I went downstairs…” The brain restarted successfully, but Zhuo Yue hesitated for a moment.

Obviously, it was safer to say, ‘I went to the kitchen to get a drink of water’ than ‘I want to run away’. His eyes moved, and finally, he said the truth in frustration, “I went to the door.”

       “Why go there?”

“I want to leave.” These four words were said very softly, as if every sound was a young bird that could not tolerate the cold, trembling and curling up into a ball.

“The door is open, isn’t it? Why did you come back?”

“I don’t know.” The water in Zhuo Yue’s eyes gradually filled up. “Maybe I’m afraid of being caught, afraid of whips and those cameras, maybe I have nowhere to go, or maybe I’ve gone crazy. Even as I kneeled and being beaten, I still…still believe you can cure me…” The tears in the corners of his eyes couldn’t be held back anymore and slid down his cheeks, “I shouldn’t think about escaping… You can punish me however you want, just don’t lock me upstairs, please…”

Fang Mingyan listened quietly to what he said, remained silent for a moment, and finally sighed. Under the moonlight, all the tenderness that disappeared in his eyes seemed to have returned, and he stared at the person in front of him in his dark eyes. He wiped away the tears on Zhu Yue’s face with his slender fingers and said, “Look down.”

Zhuo Yue looked out the window in confusion. He saw a black Mercedes parked outside the courtyard gate with its headlights on.

“If you had walked out of that door just now, I would have sent you away and continued to live your so-called normal life.” The man paused, “From then on, your world will no longer have any intersection with mine.”

Zhuo Yue was stunned and slowly said, “You want… to give up on me?”

He suddenly felt an indescribable discomfort in his heart. He didn’t know what to say, so he just looked at the other party sadly.

A hint of softness floated in Fang Mingyan’s dark pupils, “Zhuo Yue, I am not a sadist. Unilateral coercion does not bring me pleasure.” Fang Mingyan’s tall figure was covered with a soft silvery light under the moonlight. “BDSM should be a voluntary interaction between both parties. But you are not a natural Sub and have no instinctive obedience to me. So I need to capture all your attention, establish absolute authority, and become your master. Only then can I break your world and rebuild it according to my rules. But I don’t feel good seeing you in pain. I want you to be happy like you were before. If you really don’t want to accept my way, I will let you go.”

Zhuo Yue looked up at him, with a faint watery look in his eyes, and said in a very soft but unusually firm voice, “I won’t leave.”

Notes:
I’m torn between two versions…
So I’ll just add the ending other version too

He paused, “Zhuo Yue, when you are incapable of controlling yourself, give that guy to me, okay?”

Zhuo Yue’s long eyelashes quivered, and he gently leaned his chin against the man’s shoulder blade, closing his eyes wearily.

       “Okay.”

Chapter 42 – Homeward Journey (3)

When he left the table halfway through, His Majesty the Emperor didn’t even bother to greet the crowd. He picked up Qin Yun and directly carried him all the way to the bedroom.

It would be a lie to say he wasn’t nervous when he was thrown on the bed. Qin Yun had half-supported his body before but was pushed back down by Moschery condescendingly.

“Wait…” Qin Yun struggled to free his mouth, “I have to induce the Bonding Heat first…”

“No need.” Moschery kissed him, took out the suppressant and injected himself.

       Qin Yun: “…”

Moschery finally let go of his lips. The Emperor opened his mouth and tore at Qin Yun’s collar. He licked the other person’s Adam’s apple with his tongue and bit it gently.

“I’ll make you go into heat on your own.” Moschery straightened up. He stretched out his hand and slowly untied the metal rows of his uniform, “Not relying on any combination of heat potion.”

Qin Yun opened his mouth and didn’t know what to say. He watched as Moschery removed his clothes one by one, finally revealing his strong naked chest. The Emperor’s gentle and dry palms were pressed against his waist. Qin Yun only felt the back hem of his shirt being lifted up vigorously as Moschery’s searing kiss fell on his back.

The outer pants and underwear were taken off together. Yun only felt a coldness in his lower body as Moschery had already held his erect shaft.

“…” Qin Yun wanted to curl up in shame, but the other party forcefully opened his legs. The Emperor’s expression was extremely indifferent, but he stared at his guide’s agitated reaction with a steady gaze.

“I will not release pheromones to bond with you.” Moschery’s voice was very calm, “You don’t have the ability to guide now, and you can’t bear my consciousness cloud.”

Qin Yun covered his face. He understood what Moschery meant, but he always felt that it was beyond his understanding. He couldn’t imagine how the other party could remain calm and have sex with him…

“I’m also patient.” Moschery breathed out. He injected himself with a suppressant again, and only then did the dragon’s eyes, which had already thinned out, gradually return to their original shape again.

Qin Yun stammered, “I, I’m afraid that you… No… Don’t…” He shut his mouth suddenly and looked at Moschery’s lower body with some horror.

“Don’t what?” The emperor dug out a large amount of lubricant with his free hand. He held up Qin Yun’s waist and slowly inserted his fingers into the other party’s rear hole, “The sentinel is just an identity. The premise is that I am a man.”

Qin Yun had nothing to say. He tried hard to relax, but he was still not used to it. Moschery patiently expanded, bent down and kissed his lips gently.

“I-it’s okay…” Qin Yun reached out and hooked the Emperor’s neck, gritting his teeth in spite of his shame, “Put it in.”

Moschery kissed his temples and said calmly, “Not yet, you’re not wet yet.”

Qin Yun: “…” He really wanted to roar that he was already wet! I’m so wet! Put it in quickly!

After probably using a whole box of lubricant, Qin Yun couldn’t help but ejaculate once in the middle of the process. His lower body was wet and miserable. In addition to a slight sweat on his forehead, Moschery also injected another suppressant in the middle of the process. His expression remained calm and indifferent.

Moschery carefully took a pillow and put it on Qin Yun’s lower back, then raised the other person’s legs, held his buttocks and slowly inserted.

Qin Yun couldn’t help but groan at the feeling of his back hole being filled.

Moschery stopped in the middle of thrusting. He picked up the other person’s bangs and observed Qin Yun’s expression, “Does it hurt?”

“…” Qin Yun angrily tightened his legs around the Emperor’s muscular waist, gritted his teeth, and cursed as if urging, “It hurts! Hurry up and thrust it in!”

Moschery raised his eyebrows, and he pushed hard into the innermost part. As expected, he saw the expression of his guide, who lost his soul for a split second and said calmly, “Don’t be a tough talker. You won’t even be able to scream when I fvck you to death later.”

It was obviously too late when he realised that the other party meant what he said at the end. He was forced to enjoy His Majesty the Emperor’s high-quality thrusts from a frontal position. The other party even pressed the back of his head and forced himself to admire the place where the two of them were connected.

“Do you want me to go faster or slower?” Moschery asked calmly. The other person’s back hole was tightly wrapped around his lower body, and he was reluctant to let go, “Relax.” The Emperor patted him. Qin Yun’s buttocks made a snapping sound a few times. He was a little excited, and the golden pupils in his eyes gradually became narrower.

When Moschery wanted to inject more suppressants, he realised that he had run out.

Moschery frowned; his rational mind told him that he should stop this lovemaking, but the person beneath him was not so obedient.

When Qin Yun turned over and sat on Moschery’s waist, His Majesty the Emperor finally showed an unexpected expression.

He wanted to sit up, but his guide forcefully pushed him back.

“Don’t move.” Qin Yun licked his lips. He found that this position seemed to go deeper, and he moved his ass unaccustomedly. Moschery tightened his waist, and his face finally became distorted.

“Don’t seek death.” The Emperor gritted his teeth. His pupils had almost turned into a golden thread, and pheromones were released uncontrollably, “You can’t stand it.”

Qin Yun’s face was slightly pale. He could feel the other party’s powerful consciousness cloud, oppressing his brain nerves and feeling a dull pain, but subconsciously, he felt that it shouldn’t end like this.

“Give it to me.” Qin Yun lowered his head and kissed Moschery’s lips, “Don’t suppress yourself… I can bear it.”

Moschery didn’t speak. He had a sullen face and closed his eyes tightly.

“Hey, don’t be like this.” Qin Yun shook his waist coquettishly, “Who said you want to fvck me to death?”

       Moschery: “…”

Qin Yun hugged the Emperor tenderly, “Come on, believe me… I can get through it… I want you to be happy.”

He smiled and kissed Moschery’s eyes, “I love you, Xi Zhao.”

A powerful and incredible mental power poured into the Emperor’s consciousness cloud like a tide after Moschery completely released the pheromones. Moschery opened his eyes and realised that he was actually in a vast and boundless forest. He lowered his head and looked at the mirror-like ‘lake’.

“Qin Yun?” He shouted, but no one answered.

Moschery tried to take a few steps on the ‘lake’ and then slowly squatted down.

He stretched out his hand against the ‘surface of the lake’ and wiped it gently a few times. His expression gradually changed from surprise to ecstasy.

A snow-white unicorn slowly opened its golden eyes. It looked at the Emperor tenderly, lowered its head slightly, and stretched out the white wings on its back.

Chapter 40 – Sword’s Spirit

In the pitch-black abandoned building, Xiang Wenxi walked slowly forward. There was a window ahead, and light was seeping in from outside. He ran a few steps in that direction, and suddenly, a massive black wolf appeared at the window, swiftly leaping inside.

“Ling Xiao!” Xiang Wenxi quickly ran in the direction of the black wolf.

The black wolf landed on the ground and took several steps forward.

Xiang Wenxi found that he was injured. The fur on his front legs was split, and blood was dripping down.

“Are you injured?” Xiang Wenxi asked.

The black wolf transformed into a human, covered one of his arms, and said, “That old demon, I haven’t seen it for hundreds of years, yet he is getting more and more scary.”

Xiang Wenxi stepped forward, stretched out his hand to support him, and asked anxiously, “Does that mean we can’t go back to the bar?”

Ling Xiao did not answer him but asked, “Where is Chunjun?”

“That idiot ran away by himself,” Xiang Wenxi said, “Anyway, there’s no way out of this building. I–” Before he could finish his words, he suddenly paused.

Ling Xiao looked at him, “What?”

Xiang Wenxi hesitated for a moment and said, “He broke away from my illusion. It shouldn’t be. This whole building is controlled by my illusion.”

Ling Xiao said coldly, “Where is he now?”

Xiang Wenxi shook his head, “I don’t know, but he probably didn’t leave this building.”

“Go find him,” Ling Xiao said.

Xiang Wenxi grabbed Ling Xiao’s arm, “How can you be sure that he must be Chunjun? What part of him looks like ChunJun?”

Ling Xiao said, “If that wasn’t the case, why do you think I was injured like this by Demon Zhen? Chunjun has been with Demon Zhen for thousands of years. If he wasn’t it, I really can’t figure out who else he could be.”

Xiang Wenxi let out a ‘hmph’ sound, “Then, let’s split up. One goes up; the other goes down. We’ll search floor by floor.”

When they separated, Xiang Wenxi muttered again, “So what if we find him? Chunjun is not yours anyway.”

Ling Xiao gave him a cold look and said nothing.

At this time, Song Jun was running forward aimlessly. He still remembered the face of the middle-aged man he saw just now, with the corners of his mouth grinning upward in a strange arc and repeating those words, “It’s so dark. How did you find your way up? Aren’t you afraid?”

He was really scared and couldn’t think carefully at all. He turned around and ran back. He wanted to find Xiang Wenxi. He didn’t want to stay in this haunted place alone.

When he first started running, he heard footsteps chasing him from behind. The middle-aged man’s flashlight waved vigorously and shouted to him, “It’s so dark. Aren’t you afraid?”

Song Jun’s scalp was tingling; he had no idea which direction he was running or what the surroundings around him were like. Gradually, both the beam of his flashlight and the sound of footsteps disappeared. All that remained was darkness and deadly silence.

All he could hear was his own heavy breathing and messy footsteps.

No matter how big this shopping mall was, he should have reached the wall after running such a long distance, but he never encountered any obstacles. Maybe he was not running straight at all but running in a weird arc, avoiding all walls.

Song Jun stopped. He just felt scared and wanted to leave this place.

After he stopped, his breathing slowly recovered, and the surroundings became dead silent again. At this time, he heard a sound, which sounded like something dragging on the ground.

The sound was far away at first, then gradually got closer.

Have you seen The Grudge1Ju-On movie? When the female ghost inside was crawling on the ground, her clothes rubbed against the floor, making such a sound. Song Jun had pathetically seen it too, and in the darkness, he couldn’t stop himself from imagining things.

He felt like he should hide, but he didn’t know where to go. He struggled to discern the direction of the sound in the darkness and then moved in the opposite direction. He didn’t even dare to run, as if the moment he did, that thing would swiftly catch up to him.

He walked forward slowly, not too far away, when he suddenly felt that he had hit something.

       That looked like a person.

At this moment, a light suddenly lit up in front of him. It was the light of a flashlight. The middle-aged man shined the flashlight in the sky and said, “I found you. Why are you running around? It’s so dark. Aren’t you afraid?”

Song Jun screamed and pushed him away with all his strength. When he ran forward, he missed his footing, and he rolled forward and fell.

It turned out that there was an elevator in the shopping mall in front of him. The middle-aged man blocked it, and he couldn’t see anything. He rushed over, stepped on the elevator, and fell down.

Song Jun rolled all the way to the bottom of the elevator, landing in a dishevelled state. At that moment, he almost lost consciousness. He struggled to crawl a few steps forward and saw someone standing in front of him. He instantly trembled with fear.

But he didn’t expect that man to squat down in front of him and call him, “Chunjun.”

Who is Chunjun? Song Jun had no idea what he was talking about. His head was throbbing, and as he reached to touch it, he felt a sticky sensation on his hand. Soon after, he lost consciousness.

When he woke up again, Song Jun found himself lying on a soft big bed, with a small lamp on the bedside, emitting soft light. The surroundings were warm and comfortable, which made him want to go back to sleep again.

Until he heard two people talking.

Xiang Wenxi said, “If Demon Zhen knew that Chunjun was injured like this, he would definitely not let me go.”

Ling Xiao’s voice was still cold, “Don’t you know that the building is unclean?”

Xiang Wenxi was a little unhappy, “How do I know? You asked me to take him to escape. Did you give me time to think about it carefully? How do I know where to escape?”

       Ling Xiao said nothing.

Xiang Wenxi asked curiously, “I heard that when Ou Yezi2Ou Yezi was a legendary master of sword-making in the Spring and Autumn period. According to Yuejueshu, he forged five treasured swords for Gan Jiang and King Zhao of Chu, named, respectively, Zhanlu, Juque, Shengxie, Yuchang and Chunjun. cast Chunjun, he sacrificed the human soul of the most vicious person in the world as the sword’s spirit. Later, although Chunjun was sealed due to its overwhelming murderous intent, Chunjun’s spirit shouldn’t be like Song Jun, right?”

After a moment of silence, Ling Xiao said to Xiang Wenxi, “I don’t know either.”

Xiang Wenxi said, “Could it be that you are all mistaken?”

Ling Xiao didn’t speak this time.

But even if they made a mistake, Demon Zhen shouldn’t have made a mistake, right?

Chunjun? Song Jun had listened to them talking about this name all night, and now he understood that they were probably talking about himself and Demon Zhen. He seemed to have heard this name somewhere, but he couldn’t recall it for a while.

He tried to think hard, but his mind went blank, and he could not recall any memory of these two names.

Song Jun sat up and realised that he had a severe headache at this time. He reached out and touched his forehead and found that there was a circle of gauze wrapped around his forehead. He remembered that he was in an abandoned shopping mall and rolled off the closed elevator. When he fell down, his head must have been injured at that time.

He wanted to get out of bed, but the sound alerted Xiang Wenxi and Ling Xiao, who walked in from outside.

Xiang Wenxi said, “Are you awake?”

Song Jun raised his hands to cover his head and asked, “Where is this?”

       Ling Xiao said, “My home.”

Song Jun looked around and then asked, “Can I go back to campus?”

Ling Xiao did not answer him, but Xiang Wenxi said, “You’re here now, so don’t even think about leaving!”

Song Jun was stunned by what he said.

Xiang Wenxi said, “ChunJun is much more precious than Thousand Years Lamp.”

Song Jun said, “I really don’t know what you are talking about. I am not Chunjun.”

Ling Xiao looked at him and suddenly walked towards him, standing in front of him with his arms folded, “We have met before, do you still remember me?”

Song Jun raised his head to look at Ling Xiao carefully and shook his head, “I’ve never seen you before.”

Ling Xiao was silent for a moment and then asked, “Demon Zhen—”

“Xia Hongshen,” Xiang Wenxi interrupted him and changed his name to something Song Jun could understand.

“Senior Brother Xia? What about him?” Song Jun asked.

“Do you remember him?” Xiang Wenxi asked.

Song Jun looked at them strangely, “Of course I remember. He is my senior brother.”

Xiang Wenxi stomped on the edge of the bed, “Cut the crap. I’m asking if you have any impression of him in the past?”

Song Jun hesitated for a while but still shook his head, “I only met him after I came to school. I didn’t know him before.” He knew that Xiang Wenxi was a fox demon, so this Ling Xiao must not be an ordinary person, so he continued, “I know he seems to be a deity in the sky, looking for Thousand Years Lamp. If he finds it, he will go back.”

The reason why Song Jun deliberately revealed Xia Hongshen’s identity was because he hoped to use Xia Hongshen’s identity to scare them.

Xiang Wenxi heard what Song Jun said and saw that his expression didn’t seem to be deliberately faking, so he turned to look at Ling Xiao strangely.

Ling Xiao also had a complicated expression and didn’t know what he was thinking.

Gilded phoenix wings[/mfn]Fengliu, Feng Junyuan[/mfn], Dragon Tip Whip3Longshao, Long Xing, and Crescent Moon Bell4Yueya, Xi Anling, these were all treasures that Demon Zhen had around him. In the past, before Demon Zhen became immortal, he travelled around the mountains and rivers of the mainland, searching for divine artefacts and treasures.

Different from Chunjun, these three weapons did not have weapon spirits when Demon Zhen first obtained them. Instead, he personally found human souls in the world that were compatible with the weapons, opened the refining furnace, and used the human souls to refine the weapons again.

In the past, Demon Zhen was the most powerful demonic beast that threatened the three realms. Born with the creation of the world, it was immortal and resembled a black panther with fangs feeding on the souls of ghosts.

The previous owner of the Chunjun was a general. He once held the Chunjun in his hand and killed countless enemies on the battlefield. Chunjun was stained red with blood and could not be washed away for a while. Before the general died, he sealed Chunjun with his own hands just because Chunjun’s murderous aura was too much, and he felt that he could not control it.

After that, the person who lifted the seal for Chunjun and took out Chunjun was Demon Zhen in human form.

Demon Zhen did not kill people. He just liked to collect divine weapons and artefacts. Chunjun was the first weapon that stayed with him. Later, when Demon Zhen obtained Gilded Phoenix Wings, Dragon Tip Whip and Crescent Moon Bell, he captured human beings for sacrifice, and Chunjun was also with them.

How could such Chunjun have no memory of Demon Zhen?

Ling Xiao couldn’t help but start to doubt.
