Chapter 18 – Dealing With the Aftermath

In a damp and stuffy basement in the northern part of the city, a dim yellow light flickered from the hanging light bulb above.

Huang Renbiao squatted in the corner, huddled nervously. He was thrown here in a sack and thrown in the trunk, still naked.

There was finally movement at the door that had been silent all this time. After the sound of the key turning, the iron door was opened.

A man wearing a long black woollen coat walked in, followed by a slightly shorter fat man and four black-clad bodyguards.

Huang Renbiao saw the fat man’s eyes suddenly light up, crawled over and hugged his legs, crying, “Mao ge, help me, Mao ge…”

The short fat man known as Mao ge was a newly promoted cadre of the Black Eagles and was responsible for looking after the casinos in this area. Not long after he took office, there was such chaos in the jurisdiction. He was almost skinned alive in the office by Tang Can, the head of the punishment hall, and his back was still sore after being whipped. Seeing this troubled Huang Renbiao, he was furious and kicked him far away. He bowed to the man next to him and said, “Young Master Ming, Manager Tang said whatever you decide to do with the people we caught today, just go ahead. After you handle it, I’ll take care of the aftermath.” After saying that, he shouted sharply at the golden chain man who had been kicked before, “Come here!”

Huang Renbiao’s face turned pale when he saw Mao ge not helping him. He struggled to crawl over again, kneeling and shaking.

Fang Mingyan sat on the chair placed by the security guard with a faint smile on his face and said leisurely, “Huang Renbiao… Biao ge, right?”

The gold chain around Huang Renbiao’s neck was still hanging, and he trembled along with his body. He begged loudly, “Young Master Ming, in your presence, I’m nothing but a dog… I was as blind as a dog1he’s kinda saying he’s been very naive and let that kid Zhuo Hai deceive me, which led to us taking action against your people… Please spare my worthless life. I’ll serve you like an ox or a horse…”

Fang Mingyan chuckled, looked at him with interest and said, “It’s a dog, a cow and a horse. What kind of animal are you?”

“I…I…I am whatever Young Master Ming said I am…” At this moment, he just wanted to save his life, and his dignity had long been forgotten.

“It seems that you are very obedient.” The man’s tone was like teasing a child.

“Yes, I am obedient…I will listen to whatever you say…”

“Very good.” Fang Mingyan whispered something to a man in black. Soon, the two thugs who were in the room at the time were brought in along with Zhuo Hai. Their hands and feet were shackled, and no one dared to make a sound with their heads lowered.

Fang Mingyan took out the black camera, opened the photo gallery and said, “Chairman Huang, next, we’re going to play a game called ‘Recreate the Original Scene’. I want you to replicate everything you’ve done to him, one by one, on yourself.” He turned to the two thugs and smiled, “You two are responsible for helping him complete it. This camera has recorded a lot of things that I can use as a reference. What I want is a complete reproduction of the original scene, and if there are any mistakes or omissions, I will take one finger at a time. The three of you have a lot of fingers combined, so there are many opportunities for mistakes.”

The two thugs fell to their knees with their legs weak, begging for mercy together with Huang Renbiao.

The man raised his wrist and looked at his watch, “I have to go back for dinner. Don’t waste time; let’s get started.” After saying that, he leaned on the back of the chair, crossed his long legs, and waited leisurely.

In the basement, screams and wails could be heard endlessly.

Huang Renbiao’s complete set of SM equipment left in the hotel room was delivered, except for the lubricant. As he screamed in agony, using his hand with two severed fingers to forcefully insert the di-do into his own asshole, Zhuo Hai, who was forced to watch nearby, trembled and closed his eyes.

“Don’t want to watch it?” Fang Mingyan’s curved lips had a mocking smile, “It seems that our actors are not working hard enough. Otherwise, we can cut off another finger to encourage them.”

As soon as he spoke, a man in black stepped forward to take action. Huang Renbiao, who had his third finger cut off, rolled his eyes and passed out. He was woken up by a bucket of cold water.

“You’re wasting my time by fainting like that,” the man said casually.

Then, some guards in black forcibly injected him with some medicine. Everything continued, with miserable cries. Huang Renbiao, who was covered in blood, was caught and gave oral sex to one of the thugs.

The increasingly thick smell of blood in the room made Zhuo Hai suffocate, and everything in front of him made his stomach churn. As soon as he looked away, he was kicked hard on the crook of his knee by a bodyguard in black. His knees bent forward, and he knelt heavily on the cold cement floor, which hurt.

“You don’t want to watch? Do you want to go up and participate in the performance?” Fang Mingyan looked at him coldly.

“No…no.” He shook his head in horror.

The man said in a cold voice, “Open your eyes and watch carefully. If you dare to look away again, I will let you eat the cut fingers on the ground.”

Zhuo Hai knelt down stiffly, staring straight ahead without daring to move.

At this moment, he felt as if he was in hell.

And the person sitting on the chair was the Shura2God of destruction who dominated everything.

Unlike the fear he felt after causing trouble in the past, this time, he experienced a suffocating terror. Everything before his eyes made him realise one thing: if he fell into the hands of this person… it would be worse than death. This terror from the depths of his heart, like maggots gnawing at his bones, made him tremble uncontrollably.

When Zhuo Hai was taken out of the basement, he was so frightened that he lost control of himself, and his body had an unpleasant stench. He didn’t know what happened to Huang Renbiao and the two thugs. He didn’t even have the courage to look back. He just knelt in front of Fang Mingyan, begging for mercy and admitting his mistake.

“I kept you alive because of Zhuo Yue.” Fang Mingyan looked at him condescendingly, his voice cold, “From today on, unless he takes the initiative to find you, you are not allowed to appear in front of him again. If you dare to do anything that offends him, I will remove the small parts of your body one by one. Do you understand?”

“Understood…I understand…” He lay on the ground and nodded frantically, not daring to stand up until the man left.

Chapter 35 – The Road (2)

When Qin Yun woke up in the morning, he found Moschery’s letters crumpled in his embrace. After staring blankly for a while, he carefully smoothed out the paper and placed it beneath his pillow.

There was an eerie silence in the cabin. Qin Yun opened the sunshade and realised that it was not completely bright yet.

The communication device at hand rang, and Tristana’s serious face appeared on the holographic image, “Stay in the room, and don’t come out. Don’t make any noise, and I’ll come down to pick you up.” As soon as she finished speaking, she didn’t wait for the other party to reply. The female general immediately closed the call.

Qin Yun frowned. After waiting for a while, he heard Tristana knocking on the door outside.

“Have you put on the bulletproof vest?” The whites of Tristana’s eyes have turned light red, “Let’s go to the c0ckpit.”

“What’s wrong?” Qin Yun followed her, “Did someone from the Cabinet attack us?”

Tristana opened the aisle door cautiously and leaned over to take a look, “There was a spaceship following us when we left the port. I thought they wouldn’t take action so quickly… but it turned out they were less calm than I expected.”

The female general motioned for the other party to lower his body. The two of them had only taken a few steps forward when Tristana’s expression turned ugly, “High-level guide… Damn it! They released the mental web!” She pushed Qin Yun, and the whites of her eyes almost turned bloody red, “I’ll hold them off. Hurry to the c0ckpit.”

Qin Yun didn’t even hesitate for a second; he turned around and ran away. In the end, when he just walked through the corridor, he bumped into a guide. The whites of the eyes were emerald green, and the pupils were staring at him for a moment.

       Qin Yun: “…”

The guide’s expression was a little surprised, “Eh…it’s useless?”

Qin Yun said nothing and knocked the opponent unconscious with a knife.

When Tristana rushed over, Qin Yun had already knocked out 5 or 6 guides in a row. He looked very relaxed and did not seem to be under attack.

“…They didn’t hypnotise you?” Tristana didn’t believe it, “What on earth did you do?”

Qin Yun scratched the back of his head. His expression was honest, and his tone was very innocent, “I don’t know…it seems like their mental power is of no use to me?”

“…” Tristana: “How is it possible… you are no longer a guide.”

Qin Yun shrugged. He actually didn’t know how to explain it, so he just kept silent.

When the two rushed to the c0ckpit, Chen Xiao was confronting a sentinel. Qin Yun only heard Tristana yelling, “Scum!”

A slap mark instantly appeared on Chen Xiao’s face…

       Qin Yun: “…”

Chen Xiao was so angry that he almost vomited blood, “Can you be gentler when you are doing mental assistance?! You slap me with the guiding tendrils every time! It hurts so much!!”

“You have the nerve to ask for my help in beating up a stupid bear!” Tristana counterattacked nonchalantly, “You’re impotent, aren’t you?!”

Chen Xiao gritted his teeth, “I’ll let you taste whether I’m impotent or not… I’ll fvck you to death, you little bitch!”

Tristana let out a ‘ha’ sound, “You’re all talk! If you are a man, come here!”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Chen Xiao’s scimitar was like a silver-white moon hook. He jumped behind the opponent, grabbed the handle of the knife and slashed the sentinel’s throat.

Tristana curled her lips in disgust, “Finally, it’s settled…”

Chen Xiao ignored her with a sullen expression and looked at Qin Yun, “How many guides have you guys finished?”

Qin Yun calculated, “The general finished one, and I knocked out six…”

“Knocked out?” Chen Xiao raised his eyebrows, “You’re quite formidable, aren’t you?” He wiped the blood on his scimitar casually on his pants, “The remaining guides probably have sentinels accompanying them, which could be more troublesome.”

Tristana sneered, “Just take them down; no need for so much nonsense.”

“Um…” Qin Yun raised his hand weakly, “Can you give me a weapon?”

“This is a high-energy cannon.” Tristana struggled to lift an oversized barrel, “The recoil is too strong for guides to use normally, but it’s quite effective. A headshot from this, and even sentinels can’t handle it.”

Qin Yun took it easily and put it on his shoulder. He glanced at the alignment lens, “Not bad, it should be fine.”

“…” Tristana, “I didn’t expect that you are quite strong…”

Qin Yun smiled, “When I went to the front line, I had to carry a 20 kilogram medical bag… bbut it’s a struggle to get up to 40kg, and I can’t stand it too much with the Dragon Scale.”

“Dragon Ccales can’t even be lifted by an ordinary sentinel.” Tristana rolled her eyes, “Do you think everyone is as sick as His Majesty?”

Qin Yun smiled and said nothing. Perhaps in the eyes of others, Moschery was powerful and invincible, crushing everything in his path, but in Qin Yun’s heart, it wasn’t so.

His Majesty, the Emperor, was childish yet strangely romantic. He might have a bad temper but was very good at taking care of others, stubborn with words, adorable in a quirky way, yet headache-inducing when being stubborn.

“Even without the guide ability, I don’t consider myself useless,” Qin Yun said calmly, his gaze steady and determined. “I want to stand by his side openly and honourably.”

In the palace, Lin Dongliang was staring nervously at the transmission system. He was slowly reading the holographic images and pictures sent by Chen Xiao. Skarter stared at the screen and squinted slightly, “Pull back the picture just now.”

Lin Dongliang glanced at him and dragged it back obediently.

“It’s Paulie.” Skarter confirmed, looking at Moschery standing by the window, “This year’s Averio Academy representative, the one who wanted to give you mental guidance but almost had a nervous breakdown herself.”

Moschery had a cold expression as if he didn’t remember who she was.

Skarter didn’t expect him to remember. He asked Lin Dongliang to download all the parts with Paulie and handed them to him, “Are you going to the Cabinet now?”

“No, we are not going to the Cabinet.” His Majesty the Emperor arranged his gloves. He motioned to Ba Jin to hang up his cloak and said calmly, “Since the Cabinet has the right to break into the Secretary of State’s residence, then it is not a big deal for me to go to the Prime Minister’s house.”

Mrs. Berlin was drinking morning tea in the courtyard. She had already put on formal clothes, and her hair was meticulously done, so when her butler ran over in a panic, the Iron Lady was not in a very happy mood.

“What are you doing so rashly?” Berlin frowned and put down the teacup gently, “Don’t you understand the rules?”

The butler was so anxious that he couldn’t speak. He shook his hands and pointed backwards desperately.

Only then did Berlin realise that something was wrong. She quickly turned around and saw the Imperial Royal Guards landing in a row on the lawn in her yard.

       Berlin: “…”

The leading aircraft covered with rhinestones slowly opened the hatch, and Moschery looked down at the Prime Minister of the Cabinet.

“Good morning, Madam.” The young emperor took off his military cap, and the mask on half of his face covered the cold and hard lines of his face, “I hope you will be in a happy mood like me today.”

       Berlin: “……”

Mrs. Berlin looked calmly at Paulie’s clear face in the holographic image. Moschery drank tea leisurely. Only Lin Dongliang’s expression was solemn, “According to the Imperial Act, anyone who endangers the safety of His Majesty and the Queen will be punished with serious consequences for treason.”

Berlin sneered, “Even if Paulie is the representative of Averio Academy, she cannot represent the Cabinet. Moreover,” She glanced at Moschery: “Guide Qin is not a Queen yet.”

“I remember.” Moschery tapped the teacup lightly, “Madam, you were also present when I proposed.”

Berlin: “But the Cabinet has not acknowledged it until now. Your Majesty, marriage is not a child’s play. Aren’t you being too willful?”

Moschery sneered, “Then who do you think has the right to decide my marriage?”

Berlin opened her mouth. She wanted to say something, but she was unable to get a word out after seeing the Emperor’s cold eyes.

“The Cabinet has always advocated hierarchical rule, so I will follow your rules.” Moschery stood up. He was tall, and the scarlet cloak behind his back was heavy and gave pressure, “I believe you must have heard a lot about it in history. The Emperor’s foolish deeds in order to favour his concubine.”

Berlin’s face turned pale. She straightened her back and said sternly, “Your Majesty, please pay attention to your status!”

“My status?” Moschery smiled contemptuously, “My status is the Emperor, a god-level sentinel. I have absolute dominance over you, including this Empire.” He looked at Lin Dongliang and calmly ordered, “From now on, all military activities of the Cabinet will be cancelled, Prime Minister Berlin will be grounded, and we will find out who ordered the academy to attack the Queen’s spaceship.”

Berlin could barely stand, and she stared at the young emperor in horror.

Moschery: “I will let the Cabinet see what hierarchical dictatorship is.” He took back his military hat again, and the shadow cast by the brim of the hat covered his cold mask, “If my Queen loses even a hair, I will make the entire Cabinet cease to exist forever.”

“Of course, the Cabinet can also try to challenge my authority. As for the consequences.” Moschery said coldly, “It is not something you can afford.”

Tristana extended the guiding tendrils as far as possible, but she still couldn’t reach Qin Yun, who was hiding in the dark. She couldn’t help but be distracted from time to time.

“Believe in your comrades on the battlefield.” Chen Xiao inserted the machete back into his back. He kicked the corpse on the ground and looked at Tristana’s tired expression, “Do you still have enough mental strength?”

Tristana said harshly, “Go to those who want to kill you.”

Chen Xiao curled his lips and suddenly reached out and grabbed Tristana’s chin, lowered his head and blocked her mouth.

The sentinel’s abundant pheromones nourished the guide’s overdrafted mental energy. Tristana didn’t even have the strength to struggle. She wanted to tear the other person to pieces while she couldn’t control herself and sucked in more.

The two of them were kissing, and they were inseparable from each other. Suddenly, a loud ‘bang’ exploded behind Chen Xiao.

Tristana was startled, and Qin Yun’s joking voice came from her communication device, “I’ll help you take care of the troublesome individuals… Do you want to continue, General?”

Chen Xiao cursed. He looked down at the sentinel on the ground with half of its head blown off and was speechless for a long time. However, the next second, another sentinel two meters away from him was once again blown to cinders before he could get close enough.

“…” Tristana, “Was he really a guide?!”

Chen Xiao was also a little speechless. He had never seen Qin Yun’s archery skills, and his accuracy was indeed good. But then, after all, this man had been well protected by Moschery before and did not have much room to show off.

“How many have you killed?” Chen Xiao silently counted his head count with uncertainty. For the first time, he felt unsure…

“15…16? It seems to be a few more than you.” Qin Yun said nonchalantly, “By the way, I also arrested a guide. She said her name was Paulie. Do you know her?”

Tristana: “…How is her mental state now?”

Qin Yun said awkwardly, “Not very good. She’s been crying… Can you stop her from crying?”

“Haha.” Tristana mocked, “The representative of Averio Academy this year was caught by a person who used to be a low-level guide. If it were me, I would cry too.”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Chapter 33 – Nightmare

Song Jun returned to the room where they stayed, and Feng Junyuan was already lying on the bed, ready to sleep.

Long Xing, as he himself said, made a bunk on the ground and was leaning on the bed playing games on his mobile phone. When he saw Song Jun coming in, he asked, “Where is Teacher Xia?”

Song Jun shook his head, said nothing, and sat down by the bed.

It was quiet in the yard outside. Secretary Wang and his family seemed to have gone back to their room to rest after dinner. He originally wanted to simply wash up, but suddenly felt troublesome, so he simply took off his shoes and lay down on the bed to sleep directly.

But it wasn’t like he could fall asleep immediately when he closed his eyes. Although he lay motionless, Song Jun had been paying attention to Xia Hongshen’s movements.

After some time, Song Jun finally heard Xia Hongshen enter the room, but Xia Hongshen did not go to bed. Instead, he picked up Long Xing, who had fallen asleep on the ground, gently placed him beside the bed, and then opened the door to go out again.

Song Jun turned over. He closed his eyes but became more and more awake. He didn’t feel sleepy, so he simply sat up again.

He carefully rolled over Long Xing, got out of bed, put on his shoes, opened the door and walked outside.

It was already quite late at this time, and all the rooms in the courtyard that had lights on before were darkened. Xia Hongshen was not in the courtyard, and Song Jun didn’t know where he had gone.

The whole yard was very quiet, not only the whole yard, it should be said that the whole mountain village was very quiet.

Song Jun originally wanted to call out for Xia Hongshen, but he felt that the brick wall was probably not soundproof. If he shouted, the whole courtyard would be woken up, so he gave up the idea and walked out of the courtyard gate.

There was still the secluded path outside the yard, and a little further on, there was a small stream where not long ago, he had been sitting and talking with Xia Hongshen.

The surroundings were dark, but not so dark that he couldn’t see his fingers. Everything could be vaguely outlined, but he didn’t see Xia Hongshen.

Song Jun was a little scared. At this time, he should have quickly returned to a crowded place, but he didn’t know why. He seemed unable to control his legs and kept walking forward step by step.

There didn’t seem to be many people living in this village, but because it was spread out, the entire mountain village was not too small. As Song Jun walked, he saw a two-story wooden building in front of him, faintly visible through the second-floor window. There seemed to be a person standing next to him.

He stopped and suddenly saw a lot of people near the window, and there seemed to be a lot of quarrels. Then the person before was pushed down from the second floor, and his head hit a stone, and a large pool of blood suddenly flowed out.

The chaotic figures on the second floor disappeared. Song Jun hesitated but still walked towards the man on the ground. He could somewhat tell it was a young man as he got closer.

The teenager was probably in the same grade as the deceased Wan Jingsheng.

Song Jun walked to him, lowered his head and wanted to take a closer look at him, but saw him suddenly reach out a hand and grab his ankle, his hand covered with blood.

He almost screamed, but he held it back, turned around, and ran away in panic.

After running for who knew how long, Song Jun stopped and found that he was lost. He was standing in front of a hillside and could not find the small courtyard where he stayed before.

He was panting, confused and at a loss. He wanted to shout Xia Hongshen’s name loudly, but when he opened his mouth, he found that he couldn’t make a sound.

Then, someone seemed to be moving in the distance.

Song Jun stood there quietly and saw that a group of people were walking in this direction. They were all wearing white mourning clothes, which looked a bit dazzling in the dark night. In the middle of the group, a person was carrying a big dark coffin.

The group of people walked towards him, but no one seemed to notice Song Jun’s presence.

When he got closer, Song Jun saw that their faces were expressionless and their eyes were lifeless. The lid of the coffin was not closed, and Song Jun could see the people lying inside.

That person was the boy Song Jun had seen falling from the second floor before. He was lying in the coffin fully clothed, but Song Jun felt that his whole body seemed to have lost weight.

He was a little surprised at first, but then Song Jun suddenly remembered what Xia Hongshen told him that all the fat in Wan Jingsheng’s body had been drained.

Song Jun didn’t see Wan Jingsheng’s body and didn’t know what Wan Jingsheng looked like. He was just wondering, could this boy be Wan Jingsheng?

The funeral procession passed by Song Jun and headed straight up the mountain.

Song Jun looked up the mountain along the road they were walking on and saw an old house like a temple at the end of the road, on the mountainside.

He had been watching those people walking up the mountain, but then he heard footsteps coming from the direction down the mountain. He turned his head and saw the second funeral procession.

Still wearing white mourning clothes, they were carrying a black coffin. Inside the coffin was a young man, but this time he looked completely unfamiliar.

Song Jun felt horrified. He took a few steps back and found that there was not just a second funeral procession but a steady stream of funeral processions coming from the bottom of the mountain in this direction all the way up the mountain.

He didn’t understand what was happening and was even beginning to be unsure whether the scene he saw before him was real.

At this time, Song Jun heard a woman crying. The woman was following the end of the group. She was crying very loudly, and behind the woman stood a young man.

At first, Song Jun thought the young man’s clothes were strange, but then he suddenly realised they were in mourning clothes.

The young man followed the woman at first but then turned his head and looked at Song Jun.

He was the only one among so many people passing by who noticed Song Jun’s presence.

Next, Song Jun saw the pale young man wearing a shroud walking towards him.

Song Jun wanted to avoid it, but he couldn’t control his legs until the young man walked up to him and stretched out a hand.

The hand was wrinkled, with only a layer of skin covering the bones. Judging from his movements, it seemed that he wanted to hold Song Jun’s hand.

Song Jun didn’t understand why he didn’t get out of the way. As if he couldn’t control it, he stretched out his hand to hold his hand.

At this time, a black cat suddenly appeared out of thin air, rushed between the two people, and stopped the young man from holding Song Jun’s hand.

Song Jun was so frightened that he suddenly opened his eyes and sat up from the bed, only then realising that he had actually had a dream.

However, this dream was too real. He raised his hand and looked at the palm of his hand, and he could still feel the touch of the young man’s cold fingers.

That person seemed to want to take him somewhere instead of hurting him. For some reason, Song Jun felt that way.

He turned his head and saw that on his left and right sides, Feng Junyuan and Long Xing were still sleeping soundly.

Long Xing turned over and even uttered a few words in his sleep, but unfortunately, they were too vague to be heard clearly.

Song Jun’s whole body was wet with sweat. He stretched out his hand and wiped his forehead. He still felt uncomfortable. He didn’t know where Xia Hongshen went, and he still hadn’t returned.

With this in mind, Song Jun gently rolled over from Long Xing’s feet and got out of bed. As soon as he put on his shoes and stood up, he suddenly noticed something standing outside the window.

He slowly walked towards the window, and when he got closer, he suddenly realised that the thing seemed to be a woman’s long hair. Song Jun suddenly held his breath because he could see clearly this time. There was clearly a woman with long hair outside the window, tilting her head and looking into the window. One of her eyes was covered by her hair, and only one of her eyes was exposed. One eye was staring at Song Jun.

Before Song Jun made a sound, the woman outside the window suddenly let out a piercing scream, and Long Xing and Feng Junyuan in the room were awakened by her voice at the same time.

Long Xing suddenly got out of bed and said, “Who is it?”

The woman outside the window started banging her head against the window while making pitiful cries.

As a result, everyone in the courtyard was awakened.

Secretary Wang’s family turned on the lights and came out of the room. His wife screamed in fright when she saw the woman lying outside the window of Song Jun’s room.

Next, Secretary Wang personally ran forward and pulled the woman away, “How did you get here?”

Long Xing opened the door and asked, “What’s going on?”

Secretary Wang pulled the woman and said, “This is the village chief’s wife and she is crazy. Go to the village chief’s house and ask someone to pick her up!”

The woman struggled fiercely and scratched Secretary Wang’s face with her sharp nails.

Long Xing then walked over to help pull her.

The woman looked to be in her thirties or forties, with long hair that reached her waist. She was actually wearing white mourning clothes.

Secretary Wang’s wife asked her son to go out and call for help while cursing bad luck.

When the woman saw Long Xing coming to pull her, her eyes suddenly widened, and she stared at Long Xing. She got the strength to break away from the pull of others, rushed over and hugged Long Xing, and shouted, “My son!”

Long Xing was small in both stature and appearance. He had just woken up and looked like a teenager with his messy hair. He was startled when the woman hugged him and shouted for someone to pull her away.

Song Jun was shocked and sat on the edge of the bed.

Feng Junyuan sat next to him, patted his back and asked, “Are you okay?”

Song Jun obviously didn’t look like he was fine, but he still shook his head.

Feng Junyuan noticed that Song Jun was sweating coldly, so he got out of bed and said, “I’ll get you a glass of water.”

At this time, someone from the village chief’s family finally came and took away the crazy woman in the yard.

Long Xing scratched his head and returned to the house, saying, “What a mess.”

Feng Junyuan returned to the room with a water glass and handed the water to Song Jun.

Secretary Wang came over, greeted them first, and then asked, “Why is Teacher Xia missing?”

Only then did Long Xing and Feng Junyuan realise that Xia Hongshen was not there.

“I went to the bathroom,” suddenly, Xia Hongshen’s voice came from outside the house.

Secretary Wang turned around and saw Xia Hongshen and nodded, “Be careful. I’m going to lock the courtyard door. It’s still early. Let’s continue to rest.”

When Secretary Wang and his family went back to their room, Xia Hongshen walked in and closed the door.

Long Xing said inexplicably, “People in this village are all weird.”

Feng Junyuan returned to the bed and squatted next to Song Jun.

Xia Hongshen came over and reached out to touch Song Jun’s head, noticing that the cold sweat on his head had not yet dissipated.

Song Jun suddenly grabbed Xia Hongshen’s hand and said, “There must be something weird in this village. I guess the village chief’s wife went mad because her son died. Many young people seem to have died in this village.”

Xia Hongshen’s palms were dry, so he held Song Jun’s clammy hand with his backhand, sat beside him, and said, “Why do you say that?”

Song Jun told him about the dream he just had.

Not only Xia Hongshen, but Feng Junyuan and Long Xing also frowned slightly when they heard what he said.

After speaking, Song Jun asked Xia Hongshen, “Where did you go just now?”

Xia Hongshen said, “I went to find out why there were so many ghosts in this village.”

“What’s going on?” Song Jun asked.

Xia Hongshen said, “I think I have found the whereabouts of the Thousand Years Lamp’s wick.”

The author has something to say:

Thank you all for your concern. It’s been over a week since the fall, and only the wound on my knee still hurts a bit. Not much else.
I know that my writing pace is a bit slow. I also want to update seven or eight thousand words daily to make it easier for everyone to read, but I can’t do it because of work.
And sometimes, when I’m under a lot of pressure to update, my mind goes blank. I can only follow the plot of the outline, but I can’t figure out how to make the outline fuller. I believe writing this way wouldn’t be enjoyable for readers, so please bear with me for the slow progress.

Chapter 17 – Shelter

       It was disgusting. Overwhelmingly disgusting.

But he had vomited everything he could, and nothing could come out except the sour stomach acid.

Everyone retreated, and Lin Hui and two bodyguards were waiting outside the door. There were only two people left in the room.

The air was filled with the sour smell of vomit. The naked Zhuo Yue curled up in the sheets stained by body fluids with his head lowered, motionless. As soon as Fang Mingyan’s hand touched his shoulder, he trembled like he was electrocuted and shrank back in fright.

“It’s me.” The man said softly, “Zhuo Yue, this is Fang Mingyan.”

       There was no response.

The person huddled at the head of the bed didn’t even raise his head.

As a Dom, Fang Mingyan knew very well that Zhuo Yue’s spirit was on the verge of collapse at this moment. He was not in a hurry to get closer but sat down by the bed and said gently, “It’s all over. No one will hurt you again.”

“Get out…don’t look at me…please…” The man, who was as cold and proud as a white deer in the forest, said such pleading words intermittently in a dry and hoarse voice, trembling with every sound.

Fang Mingyan felt like there was a thorn in his heart. He didn’t know where the injury was, but it hurt a little. He calmly comforted, “I’m not going to look. I can close my eyes, but let me stay with you here, okay?”

“Get out…get out…” He curled up hastily inward, like a child who had made a mistake, trying to cover the dirty marks on his body with the dirty sheets. Fingerprints could also be seen on the red and swollen face, and there were varying degrees of strangle marks and scratches on the neck, hands and ankles. But what really worried the man was not these skin injuries but the areas covered by the sheets. Judging from Zhuo Yue’s current state, acting too hastily may cause him to collapse completely—everything needed to be done slowly.

“I will accompany you and always be by your side.” Fang Mingyan was patient and gentle at this moment. “I’ll take care of everything for you. No one else will know about today’s events. It was just an accident, I promise it won’t happen again. Those who hurt you will never appear in your life again. Zhuo Yue, you said I’m the person you trust the most, right?”

His eyes, which he thought were already dry, moistened again. Zhuo Yue raised his face slightly and looked at the man in front of him, crying silently. Big tears fell from the corners of his eyes and fell on the sheets he was holding tightly.

Seeing him crying, Fang Mingyan breathed a sigh of relief. He tentatively stretched out his hand and touched his head gently. Seeing that the other party had no obvious rejection reaction, he touched his hair again. Then he slowly came closer, hugging him little by little and caressing his back.

Such comfort made Zhuo Yue settle down. He buried his head on the man’s shoulder and cried tremblingly. Fear, helplessness, panic, sadness, those suppressed emotions finally found an outlet to vent. He cried until his eyes were red and swollen before they gradually calmed down.

“Let me see your injuries, okay?”

Zhuo Yue hesitated for a moment, bit his lip, nodded, and let go of the sheet.

After removing the sheets, the man frowned deeply. Zhuo Yue’s lower body was still in a semi-erect state, with a small silver flower-shaped bulge exposed at the top. Apparently, there was something stuck in his urethra.

“This thing can’t be stuck in there for a long time. I have to help you take it out. Be patient.” The man’s movements were gentle and slow, and he slowly pulled out the soft needle from inside. Despite this, Zhuo Yue was still trembling uncontrollably in pain. After taking them all out, he said in embarrassment with tears in his eyes, “There’s more… behind…”

The golden chain man stuffed a di-do into his back hole. The thing was not thick, but it was stuffed too deep. There was a lot of residual lubricant on the edge. In addition, Zhuo Yue’s body was always tight, so it was not easy to get it out.

“Relax.” Fang Mingyan comforted him as he moved, “Bear with it, and you’ll be fine soon. Be good; relax a little more.” He threw the black thing out to the side and said, “I asked Lin Hui to bring your spare clothes over. Put them on first, and we’ll go back together.”

“I want…to take a bath.” Zhuo Yue lowered her head and said softly.

“Let’s go back and wash. It’s not clean here.” Fang Mingyan asked Lin Hui to come in and help Zhuo Yue get dressed.

Lin Hui saw the palm prints on Zhuo Yue’s face, and the dots of marks on his body, and his eyes turned red instantly, “Yue ge, it’s my fault. I should have come to find you earlier…”

Zhuo Yue shook his head weakly. They helped him put on his clothes and wrapped him up tightly with sunglasses, mask and hat before he walked out of the room. He had been tossed around so much that he had no strength left in his legs, and Fang Mingyan held him by the waist, helping to support part of his centre of gravity.

“They took a picture of me…” Zhuo Yue only remembered after getting in the car.

“I’ll take care of it, don’t worry.”

The man’s resolute tone made him feel at ease, and he silently looked at the scenery passing by outside the window, saying nothing all the way. It wasn’t until the car turned the corner of the apartment that he asked in confusion, “Where are we going?”

“To my place.” Fang Mingyan looked at him with gentle and soft eyes, “You will stay at my house temporarily for the next few days.”

The car stopped in front of the gate of No. 15 Hanguan Courtyard.

Zhuo Yue was carried into the bathroom of the room where he originally stayed. The man took off his coat and threw it aside, unbuttoned his collar and rolled up his sleeves. Seeing Zhuo Yue looking at him in surprise, he curled his lips and said, “You have no experience and can easily injure yourself.” The man unbuttoned his buttons one by one and said, “I’ve seen your body before; don’t be shy.”

Zhuo Yue stirred a little, then calmed down with a red face. Fang Mingyan quickly stripped off his clothes and then poured warm water on him to wash away the dirt on his body. There were many embarrassing marks left on her fair skin. Zhuo Yue pursed his lips and stood with his head down awkwardly.

The man’s fingers dipped in shower gel roamed over his body, caressing his skin inch by inch. The gentle touch was like magic, making him gradually relax. Unconsciously, the whole body was held in the arms of that person, and something unknown was pressed against the back point, giving it a slight chill. He trembled with fear, “Don’t…”

“Don’t be afraid. I won’t hurt you.” Fang Mingyan patted his back and explained patiently, “Those toys he used on you may not be clean and stuffed too deep, I need to give you an enema to clean it. I’m a professional Dom with experience and skill in these matters, but I need your co-operation. Trust me, okay?”

In the steaming mist, Zhuo Yue hesitated for a while like a lost child, biting her lip and leaning her head gently on his shoulder.

The man put an arm around his waist, held him close to him, and said softly in his ear, “It will be a little uncomfortable. Try to relax.” Zhuo Yue held Fang Mingyan’s wet shirt tightly and endured it. He guided the hose into his body and waited for the warm liquid to slowly rush into his body. Fang Mingyan kept holding him, talking in a low voice to distract Zhuo Yue, waiting for the 600 ml of medicine to completely enter the body, and gently massaged his abdomen.

“Ugh…” Zhuo Yue trembled, grabbed his hand, his face flushed, and said in embarrassment, “You go out first…”

“Be patient for a while.” The man touched his wet head.

How could he hold back this overwhelming feeling?

Zhuo Yue was almost crying and pushed him urgently, “Get out, get out now…”

After all, it was his first time. Seeing his shy and anxious look, Fang Mingyan suppressed his laughter and compromised, “Okay, I’ll go out.”

With the other party’s hard and soft tactics, the enema was done three times in total. Zhuo Yue was already physically exhausted, and his legs were weak after finishing the exercise. The man wrapped him in a bath towel like a spring roll and carried him from the bathroom to the bed. After the family doctor arrived, he came up to do some examinations and draw blood.

The uncle doctor looked at Fang Mingyan with condemnation in his eyes, frowned and said, “How could you make someone like this?”

“No…” Zhuo Yue wanted to explain but was interrupted.

“No next time.” The man said quietly, leaning against the window.

These words were spoken slowly and seriously.

       Zhuo Yue was slightly startled.

“There is no injury to the lower body. There is some redness and swelling. It is not suitable to do it again in the near future.” The uncle doctor said to Zhuo Yue, “It is very dangerous to ignore the body in pursuit of pleasure. You must pay attention to propriety.”

Zhuo Yue knew that he had misunderstood, but he couldn’t explain it, so he blushed and remained silent.

After the doctor left, Fang Mingyan leaned over and covered him with a quilt and said, “You rest first. I have to go out and will be back before dinner.”

“Okay.” Zhuo Yue responded. He looked at the back and couldn’t help but call out, “Fang Mingyan…”

The man turned around, “What’s the matter?”

There were many emotions surging in his black eyes like a turbulent underground river rushing and entangled under the calm surface.

The person in front of him was like a big tree, giving him support when he had no branches to rely on and giving him shelter when he encountered wind and rain. This person had seen the most downtrodden, the most wretched, the weakest version of himself and then rescued that humble self from the mire step by step. His eyes were a little moist, but his heart was warm. There were many things he wanted to say, but these words were the only words he spoke, “…Thank you.”

Fang Mingyan smiled, “Have a good rest.”

Chapter 34 – The Road (1)

Qin Yun was preparing the things he would take with him when he left, while Moschery hesitated and reluctantly lingered. In the end, he still had to see off his soon-to-be wife.

“I’ll let Chen Xiao and Tristana protect you.” The Emperor was still stuffing things into his guide’s travel bag, “The two of them might argue a bit on the way, but if they start fighting, make sure to stay away.”

Qin Yun: “…how many gifts have you prepared for me?”

Moschery, “It will come in handy after all.” He glanced at Qin Yun, “Remember to say good things about me in front of mother-in-law.”

“…” Qin Yun joked, “She would be happy if you would call her mother-in-law.”

Moschery had a look of ‘you owe me something’. He leaned forward, turned his face and kissed Qin Yun’s lips, resting his forehead against his, “I will write to you.”

Qin Yun was confused, “Isn’t there a communication device… We can see each other.”

Moschery took a deep breath, looked at the other person depressedly, and muttered, “Forget it.”

       Qin Yun: “??”

Moschery roughly ruffled his bangs, “Don’t miss me.”

The Royal Guards personally escorted Qin Yun to the port of the Imperial Capital. Moschery got off the ship first, unfolded the cloak behind him to wrap his guide in full view, and took the person directly off the ship.

Chen Xiao was waiting for the two of them under Tristana’s Crested Ibis. He saw Moschery and gave a military salute.

“Where’s General Lane?” Qin Yun looked around and couldn’t find Tristana.

Moschery said calmly, “They don’t dare to argue in front of me; the other one must be hiding.”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Chen Xiao: “The little cannon girl is so thin-skinned.” He was a little shocked when he saw the luggage behind Qin Yun. “Your Majesty…are you going to move the entire empire back to your mother’s house?”

Because there were so many things, it took the two parties a long time to move them completely. When Qin Yun boarded the Crested Ibis, he couldn’t help but look back at Moschery. His Majesty the Emperor stood under the hatch and looked up at him.

“I will write you a letter.” The sentinel still insisted, “You must read it.”

Qin Yun: “I will read it.” He emphasised with a smile, “I’ll try to memorise them all.”

Moschery also smiled; his smile was very light, the curve of the corners of his lips softened slightly, and the mask on half of his face glowed with a gentle silver light.

“Bon Voyage.” His Majesty the Emperor said calmly. He watched the Crested Ibis slowly close the hatch, blocking Qin Yun’s figure bit by bit.

Zhongyan suddenly rose into the sky, and the dragon let out a long roar, flapping its wings and following the Crested Ibis. Qin Yun pressed against the window of the flight cabin and opened his eyes wide in surprise.

He didn’t know what kind of method Moschery used. He actually ‘pasted’ rhinestones on the back and chest of Zhongyan’s wings. Although the technique was rough and chaotic, he could still vaguely see the shadow of a dragon.

The huge rhinestone dragon flew around the Crested Ibis. Zhongyan turned his belly and flew on his back. He always tried to show Qin Yun the place with the most diamonds, as if he understood that only in this way could the other party see it.

“You have become a veritable golden dragon.” Qin Yun said to himself, almost crying with laughter. He wiped the corners of his eyes and waved to Zhongyan.

There was a message from Moschery on the communicator, “Come back soon.”

After a while, there was another message.

       “I miss you already.”

Tristana showed up after waiting for Chen Xiao to go to the c0ckpit. She didn’t look good, and she sniffed. Her expression was almost distorted when she smelled the pheromones left by Chen Xiao.

“Why is he the sentinel who matches me 100%?” Tristana covered her face in despair.

Qin Yun sympathised with her a little, “Your relationship…well, how could it be so bad?”

Tristana said bitterly, “When he was 20 years old, I was only 12 years old. When we first met, this bastard wanted to mark me… Damn it! I was still a loli at that time! Such an innocent, romantic and simple loli! Is he still a human being?! Is he even a human?!”

“…” Qin Yun actually wanted to defend Chen Xiao. A 20-year-old was still very young… The attraction between a 100% match was something that couldn’t be controlled so easily.

“Forget it, let’s not mention that scumbag.” Tristana waved her hands irritably. She crossed her long legs on the chair in front of her and said with a serious expression, “Actually, His Majesty also has his own considerations in letting you go to Bixi this time. In the near future, The imperial family plans to shake up the Cabinet, so it is necessary to let you stay away from the centre of the political storm, but we didn’t rule out that old witch Berlin will jump over the wall to cause trouble for us.”

Qin Yun: “Looking for trouble with me? How?”

Tristana: “Assassination and kidnapping, whatever you can think of, the Cabinet can do it. If not, why do you think His Majesty would send me and Chen Xiao to protect you?”

       Qin Yun: “…”

“Although that scumbag and I have always been at loggerheads, in terms of combat power, Lin Dongliang and Skarter are no match for us.” Tristana said condescendingly and proudly, “Don’t worry, this lady will let you safely become the king’s man!”

Qin Yun wiped his sweat, “That’s really… I’m sorry to trouble you…”

On the way back, Moschery was swiping his ‘antique’ grade diamond shell tablet. As expected, a picture of a rhinestone dragon appeared on All Universe 818. Although it was too far away and the rhinestones were too messy to see clearly, the shape of the dragon was impossible to miss.

“Asking for identification!!! Is this the legendary divine spiritual link?!! It’s the first time I’ve seen something like this in my life!!! His Majesty’s dragon is indeed not like our ordinary ones!!! The headline must be long long long long!!!!”

Within a few minutes, there were hundreds of replies on this page. Some people questioned, “Isn’t the spiritual link invisible to ordinary people? I heard that His Majesty’s spiritual link is not even visible to other sentinel and guides… What’s with this sudden posting of rhinestones for?”

There were LS+1 posts at the bottom, and some of them directly thought it was PS, and there was a reason to draw a red circle.

Moschery ignored the other questions. He went to his alt account and replied with three words after the sentence, ‘What’s with this sudden posting of rhinestones for?’

       “To coax my wife.”

When Skarter was browsing the post in the morning, he almost burst out laughing when he saw the Emperor’s reply. He invited Lin Dongliang to look at it together and joked, “Probably because, in the past, the shadow of loneliness and growing old alone was too deep. Finally having a wife now… Your Majesty, you really are extraordinary in your efforts.”

Lin Dongliang had a headache. He always felt that the monarch he decided to be loyal to was good at everything, but sometimes, he was too determined and could not be pulled back, even with eight horses in things he believed in.

Of course Moschery knew what they were looking at, but the Emperor only glanced at it lightly, then lowered his head and continued to read his documents.

“Your Majesty… the more you care about Guide Qin, the clearer the Cabinet will know where your weaknesses are.” Lin Dongliang sighed, “Aren’t you worried?”

“What about?” Moschery asked without raising his head.

Lin Dongliang frowned. He couldn’t tell for a moment whether he was worried about the Emperor or Qin Yun, or both.

“He is indeed my weakness.” Moschery said suddenly, closing the document in his hand, “But he is also my armour.”

“Be injured and then get stronger.” The Emperor lifted his chin, calmly looking at the other person. “I won’t make the same mistake twice.”

Qin Yun was about to fall asleep at the bottom of the cabin when he heard the cry of the electronic bird. An emerald coloured fax bird opened its mouth and slowly spit out a handwritten letter.

Qin Yun took a piece of clothing and put it on, then laid the letter flat on his knees.

“It’s very cold in the north. Please keep warm.” The beginning of Moschery’s letter was a bit simple and crude. Qin Yun couldn’t help laughing and got into bed. He continued to read carefully.

“I haven’t written for a long time. It’s not very pretty. Don’t take it personally.” There was a blank line in the middle, “How many times did you miss me today?”

Qin Yun silently counted in his mind and found that he couldn’t count no matter how hard he counted, so he simply gave up.

Moschery went on to write, “I’m suspicious that the Cabinet colluded with Olympus, but due to lack of evidence, the investigation of Eta Star was forced to be suspended. It’s not easy to act against them, but we must also strive to regain control of Skarter’s military authority.”

Qin Yun frowned and looked down.

“PS: Skarter doesn’t do anything right now. He follows Lin Dongliang around every day… Flaunting their love in front of me. It’s truly annoying!”

       Qin Yun: “…”

“Zhongyan didn’t want me to remove the diamonds on it. That idiot dragon still thought he was so good-looking. He kept basking in the sun all day long to keep the gold sparkling all the time.”

       Qin Yun: “Pfft…”

There was a large section of erased marks in the middle, and it could be seen that it was all complaints about Zhongyan. His Majesty the Emperor probably realised that he was a bit verbose, but he was too embarrassed to show it in front of Qin Yun, so he could only summarise with a somewhat exasperated tone, “I told you not to spoil him too much, but you wouldn’t listen. Now, he’s becoming more unruly. A doting mother spoils the child!”

“…” Qin Yun touched his nose and turned the page.

“Ba Jin made apple pie today, so I had to eat it while you were away.” Moschery added a note at the bottom: “PS: I’m also learning. I’ll make it for you when you come back.”

Qin Yun held a small moment of silence for Ba Jin’s kitchen, and he read the bottom of the letter.

“No matter what happens to the Cabinet and the royal family or what happens to Eta Star or Olympus, I will protect you and never let you be harmed again.” Moschery’s handwriting was deep. He seemed to have been thinking for a long time, and there were even drops of ink marks on the paper.

The Emperor wrote at the end: “I swear on my life that I will give you happiness. — I love you, Moschery•Xi Zhao•Issa.”

Chapter 32 – Kissing

Because the car encountered heavy fog shortly after leaving the village, it didn’t go very far. However, it still took nearly half an hour to get back.

Song Jun started dragging his luggage, and then Xia Hongshen reached out to pick it up for him.

After riding in the car all morning, he couldn’t eat a bite of food in the village at noon, and he couldn’t even sit on a stool. Now he had walked uphill for a long time, and Song Jun was already panting from exhaustion.

Xia Hongshen walked beside him, suddenly squatted down in front of him and said, “Come up.”

Song Jun was stunned for a moment and then realised that Xia Hongshen wanted to carry him on his back. He turned and glanced at Xi Anling, who was lagging behind. The girl was panting from exhaustion but kept walking forward with her head lowered. He suddenly felt embarrassed and said, “No need.”

When Xia Hongshen heard his refusal, he said nothing and continued walking forward, dragging Song Jun’s luggage.

When they returned to the village, not only the village chief but also the village secretary came out to welcome them.

Long Xing called Captain Liu and informed him that they had returned to the village. He asked them to go down the mountain as soon as possible. Later, they originally planned to stay at the village chief’s house for one night, but they did not expect the village secretary to stand up and object, insisting that they go back to his place with him.

Song Jun suddenly felt that the old village chief of Wanjia Village was a little pitiful.

Now that the village secretary insisted, the village chief did not continue to object and said to Xia Hongshen, “Teacher, you can go live at the secretary’s place. If you need anything, come to me and I’ll help you out if I can solve it.”

Xia Hongshen nodded and said, “Thank you.”

The village secretary’s home was actually not big, and he barely managed to clear out an empty room, allowing Xia Hongshen and the other four boys to make do with each other, while Xi Anling was arranged to share a bed with his daughter.

As soon as Feng Junyuan entered the room, he frowned and looked unhappy.

Because there was only one bed in the room, and although it was a large bed, it was very difficult to squeeze four boys into it.

Song Jun also felt uncomfortable. He was just about to say that the two of them should sleep at the village chief’s place when he heard Long Xing take the initiative to say, “You three can sleep, I’ll just sleep on the floor.”

Actually, Long Xing was the youngest among them, but he had the best personality.

Hearing what he said, Song Jun and Feng Junyuan could no longer express their unspoken complaints.

Song Jun sat down on the edge of the bed. At this time, he didn’t care whether he was dirty or not, and leaned back.

Feng Junyuan also lay down not far from him, and Long Xing simply sat on the ground, leaning his back against the bed.

Xia Hongshen stood at the door and looked outside, no one knew what he was looking at.

They rested all afternoon, and it was almost seven o’clock in the evening before the secretary’s wife came to ask them to have dinner.

Dinner was steamed wood-fired rice. Although the food was not very good, for these young people in their twenties, after starving for so long, even if they were given a bowl of white rice, they could still eat very well.

Song Jun ate two large bowls of rice in one go and felt that his stomach was about to burst.

He patted his chest and heard that the secretary was telling Long Xing about the village chief and his nephew, probably complaining about their family’s abuse of power for personal gain.

This village secretary’s surname was Wang. Although his surname was not Wan, he lived in Wanjia Village many generations ago.

After hearing his conversation with Long Xing, Song Jun felt that he was quite ordinary middle-aged man, not as cold and guarded as he felt when they first entered the village.

Secretary Wang’s wife was also an ordinary woman. She had several children at home, more sons than daughters.

Song Jun thought that no one would care about such a remote place, and maybe there was more than one child here in the family.

After listening to them talking for a while, Song Jun felt that it was not interesting, so he stood up and said that he was leaving first.

The dining area was right inside the kitchen. As Song Jun emerged from the kitchen, he stood in Secretary Wang’s yard, gazing towards the surrounding mountains. At this moment, the sky hadn’t completely darkened, but only the undulating outlines of the mountain ranges were visible. It truly felt like towering peaks and ridges, evoking an indescribable sense of awe for Song Jun, who had grown up in a flat city environment.

While he was in a daze, something suddenly rushed past his feet.

Song Jun was so frightened that he took two steps back. After taking a closer look, he realized that it was actually a cat.

It was a common tabby cat in rural areas. It was quite big and must have been quite old. The cat stared at Song Jun and meowed twice.

Perhaps because of the little black cat, Song Jun had some natural affection for cats. He remembered the Whiskas he had brought at some time, so he said to the cat, “Wait a minute, I’ll give you something to eat.”

After saying that, Song Jun ran back to the room, rummaged through the packages of Whiskas bags, took them out and wanted to feed the cat.

When he returned to the yard, he found that the tabby cat was missing, so he walked around in the yard and whispered, “Meow?”

Suddenly, Xia Hongshen appeared next to him, grabbed his hand, and asked him, “What do you want to do?”

Song Jun was startled by him and showed him the thing in his hand, “I want to feed the cat.”

       “You can’t,” Xia Hongshen said.

Song Jun was stunned, why should this be a problem for him? Why should he be controlled by this?

Next, Xia Hongshen said, “Would you like to go out for a walk?”

Hearing his question, Song Jun quickly forgot his anger. He originally wanted to go out for a walk, but he felt scared and didn’t dare to go out alone. Now that Xia Hongshen said they wanted to be together, he had nothing to fear, so he nodded.

The two people left Secretary Wang’s yard and walked outside.

Song Jun looked at the quiet mountain village and asked Xia Hongshen beside him, “Are there any ghosts in this village?”

Xia Hongshen’s eyes swept across the distance and told him in a calm tone, “There are ghosts, and there are many of them.”

       Song Jun became nervous instantly.

       Both of them stopped.

Xia Hongshen said, “Many ghosts are surrounding this village and don’t want to disperse.”

       “Why?” Song Jun asked softly.

Xia Hongshen shook his head, “I don’t know.”

Song Jun stood next to Xia Hongshen and felt that it was not that scary. He asked, “Is it because they all died unjustly, so they can’t be reincarnated?”

Xia Hongshen did not answer his question but said, “The young man named Wan Jingsheng was killed, and then all the fat was removed from his body. What do you think it was for?”

Before that, Song Jun didn’t know that there was such a thing. He looked at Xia Hongshen in surprise, “Drained away the fat? Why?”

Xia Hongshen said, “I’m thinking about it too, what do you think?”

Song Jun frowned, thought for a long time, and said, “Is it used for cooking?”

After saying that, he felt sick himself and couldn’t help but hold his chest.

Xia Hongshen gave him a blank look.

The two sat down next to a small mountain stream. Song Jun put his hand into the stream. Even though it was spring, the stream was still cold.

Song Jun’s bags of Whiskas had already been snatched away by Xia Hongshen, and he was now playing with them in his hands. He didn’t bother to ask him for them back.

Song Jun felt that the current relationship between the two was a bit indescribable. He had suffered a lot of grievances and got angry a lot because of Xia Hongshen, but he could feel that Xia Hongshen didn’t seem to take it to heart. It seemed that the attitude towards him had not changed from beginning to end. What did Xia Hongshen mean? Did it mean that it was enough for two people to maintain the relationship of friends and senior fellow apprentices? Song Jun felt unable and lacked the capacity to speculate on this matter; he felt tired

In the past, he felt that Xia Hongshen’s almost ambiguous attitude towards him was because he liked him, but now his head was a mess and he didn’t know anything anymore.

Xia Hongshen suddenly raised his hands and stretched, and said, “I’m so tired.”

Song Jun asked him strangely, “Can deity get tired too?”

However, this was obviously not what Xia Hongshen wanted to hear. He ignored what Song Jun said, turned his back to Song Jun, and then fell onto his lap.

Song Jun’s body suddenly became stiff.

Xia Hongshen found a comfortable position, pillowed on Song Jun’s legs, and stretched his arms.

Song Jun didn’t dare to move.

Xia Hongshen thrust the Whiskas into his hand and said, “I want to eat it.”

Song Jun was a little stunned, “You want to eat? This is for cats.”

Xia Hongshen raised his arm and bumped Song Jun’s chest, urging him.

Song Jun still hesitated, and said again, “This is for cats. Although it smells delicious, I think humans still can’t eat it…”

Xia Hongshen bumped into him again.

Song Jun was helpless and said, “Okay, okay, I understand, you’re the one who wants to eat it.”

He opened the Whiskas bag and carefully fed some into Xia Hongshen’s mouth, and then saw that he really swallowed it deliciously.

“Is it really okay?” Song Jun asked.

       Xia Hongshen said “En”.

Song Jun fed him a little more and asked him, “Is it delicious?” He just saw Xia Hongshen eating so deliciously, and suddenly became curious and wanted to try the taste.

However, what he didn’t expect was that Xia Hongshen didn’t answer him. Instead, he stood up and fed him the half piece he had bitten into his mouth.

Song Jun was dumbfounded. He chewed the meat mechanically and ate it without tasting the meat at all. After Xia Hongshen finished this action, he lay back on his lap as if nothing had happened.

In a sense, this could be regarded as a kiss.

But Song Jun was not so sure. He looked down at Xia Hongshen. The surrounding light was so dark that he could hardly see Xia Hongshen’s expression clearly. He suddenly felt that Xia Hongshen’s action just now was like a big domestic pet snatching food from its owner’s mouth.

It was just that a moment ago, Xia Hongshen was feeding him.

There was no symbolic meaning, and the touch of lips was nothing. It was just a process of passing food.

Song Jun raised his hand to press his lips. He could still recall the soft touch just now. Of course, he needed to ignore that it was cat food. He thought about the kiss he gave Xia Hongshen on the night of New Year’s Eve. Was it meaningless to him?

“Senior Brother Xia?” Song Jun reached out and grabbed Xia Hongshen’s shoulders and shook him.

       Xia Hongshen said, “Yeah?”

Song Jun asked him, “Do you know what kissing means?” Maybe he was a deity and he didn’t understand what kissing means at all.

Xia Hongshen said, “I know, humans like to bite their mouths when they are in heat, men and women bite.”

Song Jun didn’t notice that he said the word ‘human’, but he just heard that he knew the meaning of kissing, and suddenly felt disappointed.

Unexpectedly, Xia Hongshen next said, “I don’t agree with you kissing Xi Anling.”

Song Jun was a little angry for a moment, pushed Xia Hongshen away, stood up and said, “It has nothing to do with you!” Then he turned around and walked straight into the yard.

Recently, I’ve been posting updates and running off right away. It’s been a while since I’ve said something. Last week, while riding my bike home from work, I was thrown off directly from the bike. My knee is still hurting, and I can’t squat down when going to the toilet every day, feeling extremely foolish… Actually, what I want to say is, thank you to the girls who follow my story for patiently commenting despite me disappearing after updates. I truly appreciate it. Everyone, please take care and stay safe.

Chapter 12

The moment he jumped off the bus, Zhan Weiyang found that his right knee was clearly hurting more than his left, so he couldn’t help but limp while walking and walked towards the neighbourhood’s gate with his school bag on his back.

The sun was shining down from above his head, and Zhan Weiyang started to sweat again after walking a short distance. A drop of sweat slid down his cheek, flowing through the white and reddish skin, leaving a trace.

When he got home, no one was on the first floor, and even the TV was turned off. This means that neither Grandma nor Auntie Luo were at home, and Auntie Luo should be pushing Grandma’s wheelchair to accompany her for a walk. Grandma would go for a walk in a nearby park when the weather was nice. She couldn’t walk far, so Auntie Luo would push the wheelchair, and when she got tired from walking, she would let her sit down and watch the children running and playing in the park.

Zhan Weiyang threw his school bag on the sofa, walked to the kitchen with one leg, took a glass cup, and put a glass of cold purified water under the water purifier. He raised his head and drank the whole glass of water.

He took a deep breath, raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his face, rinsed the inside under the sink, and put it back in the cupboard.

When he turned around, he suddenly found Pei Qing standing at the door of the kitchen, with his hands in his trouser pockets, leaning against the door frame and looking at him.

Zhan Weiyang was actually startled. He didn’t hear Pei Qing’s footsteps and didn’t know when Pei Qing appeared. However, he opened his mouth without screaming and tried his best to swallow his surprise, then called out, “Qing ge?”

Pei Qing’s eyes dropped from his red cheeks to his knees and asked, “Did you fall?”

Zhan Weiyang looked down and found two clear marks on his school uniform trousers, the very same dust that had stained his knees when he knelt on the ground. He raised his head, suddenly ashamed, and said, “I accidentally fell while riding my bicycle.”

Pei Qing asked him, “Are you hurt?”

Zhan Weiyang bent down. His body was flexible enough that he could almost fold himself in half and embrace his own legs. He pulled his trouser legs up with both hands until they reached past his knees. Only then did he say, “Oh, there’s some blood.”

Pei Qing came over, squatted in front of Zhan Weiyang, pulled up his other trouser leg, looked up at him, and asked, “Is there a medical kit?”

       Zhan Weiyang nodded.

The sunlight in the living room on the first floor was never quite sufficient. There was a big tree next to the window, with thick branches and leaves that covered the sunlight. Therefore, even in the summer, the first floor always remained pleasantly cool, and Grandma never needed to turn on the air conditioning.”

Zhan Weiyang’s sweat had already dried up, sticking to his skin, as if blocking his pores and making it difficult for his skin to breathe. He looked down at Pei Qing’s head and thought to himself that he should have taken a shower first. Otherwise, if Pei Qing helped him apply medicine and then he went to take a shower, he would wash off all the medicine. However, if he didn’t take a shower, he would feel very uncomfortable.

Pei Qing lowered his head and wiped his wound with a cotton swab dipped in iodine. He moved very gently.

From Zhan Weiyang’s perspective, he could see Pei Qing’s sharp profile, the straight bridge of his nose, and the extraordinarily long eyelashes at the corners of his eyes.

The injury on his knee was more serious than the injury on his palm. Pei Qing helped him disinfect it and found a medical dressing from the medicine box to apply it.

Then Zhan Weiyang took the initiative to stretch his hand to him.

Pei Qing took a look at his hand and said, “It’s just a little scratch; there’s no need to patch it up.”

Zhan Weiyang took back his hand and said with some disappointment, “Oh.”

Pei Qing put back everything he had just rummaged through the medicine box.

When Zhan Weiyang got off the sofa, his stomach growled without warning, and he felt that he was hungry. He secretly glanced at Pei Qing and saw that there was no change in Pei Qing’s expression. He thought Pei Qing didn’t hear him, so he stood up, limped into the dining room, opened the refrigerator and wanted to find something to eat.

There weren’t many snacks at home, and the fridge only had a bowl of leftover stir-fried pork with green peppers from lunch, along with a bowl of white rice. There weren’t any other cooked dishes available.

Zhan Weiyang closed the upper door, bent down to pull the freezer drawer below, and wanted to eat an ice cream. Before he could get it, he heard Pei Qing ask him from behind, “Didn’t have lunch?”

       He turned back and nodded.

Pei Qing came over, reached out and closed the freezer drawer first, and then said, “Would you like egg fried rice?”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him blankly and said, “Yeah.”

Pei Qing opened the door of the refrigerator again, took out the bowl of leftover rice, and then took two eggs and a green onion. When closing the door, he hesitated and took another ham.

He said to Zhan Weiyang, “I haven’t done it in a long time, let me try.”

Zhan Weiyang followed Pei Qing into the kitchen and watched him beat the eggs and then cut the ham into small pieces.

Pei Qing’s movements were not very skilful. It seemed that he had cooked before, but he didn’t do it often.

Zhan Weiyang was close to Pei Qing, and Pei Qing’s elbow would touch him occasionally if he moved too much.

“Do you want to wait outside?” Pei Qing asked Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiyang said, “But I want to watch you do it.”

Pei Qing didn’t say anything else. He poured the beaten egg liquid into the pot and stir-fried it until it was cooked, then poured in the ham sausage and rice. When it was almost done, he sprinkled in a handful of chopped green onion and stir-fried evenly.

Zhan Weiyang said, “It looks delicious.”

Pei Qing took the rice out of the pot, then took out the fried pork with peppers from the refrigerator, poured it into the pot to heat, and finally brought it to the dining table for Zhan Weiyang to sit down and eat.

Zhan Weiyang followed Pei Qing from the kitchen into the dining room. He sat down at the dining table, reached out and took the chopsticks Pei Qing handed him, and lowered his head to take a big bite of the rice.

He was really hungry, and he felt that Pei Qing’s bowl of egg-fried rice was the best egg-fried rice he had ever tasted. It was much more delicious than Auntie Luo’s. Of course, he would never tell Auntie Luo these things.

Zhan Weiyang ate quickly and hurriedly. After finishing the meal, he ran into the kitchen with an empty bowl and saw that Pei Qing had cleared the chopping board and washed the pot.

When Pei Qing was about to reach out to take the bowl and wash it, Zhan Weiyang leaned aside and said hurriedly, “I’ll wash it.”

He was very insistent. After Pei Qing got out of the way, he walked to the sink, washed the dishes and chopsticks, shaking off the water and putting them in the draining tray to dry.

Zhan Weiyang came out of the kitchen and saw Pei Qing walking towards the stairs. He hurried to the sofa, grabbed one of his school bag straps, and chased Pei Qing towards the stairs.

His school bag dragged on the floor, bumping against the stairs one by one as his feet hit the stairs, he ran up and grabbed the hem of Pei Qing’s clothes. When Pei Qing turned around, he leaned close to Pei Qing and whispered in his ear, “Your egg fried rice is the best I have ever tasted.” He was thinking just now while he was eating, although he couldn’t tell Auntie Luo, he could tell Pei Qing, and he must tell Pei Qing.

Pei Qing smiled, bent down close to his ear, and asked in a low voice, “Why whisper it?”

Zhan Weiyang’s ears were itchy. He raised his hand and scratched it, and it soon turned red. He said, “Can’t let Auntie Luo hear it.”

Pei Qing nodded and said softly, “I understand.”

Zhan Weiyang still held him tightly, “Don’t tell Auntie Luo.”

Pei Qing smiled and looked at Zhan Weiyang without saying anything.

Zhan Weiyang suddenly became anxious, and he said in a sincere tone, “Auntie Luo will be sad.”

Pei Qing said: “If you call me gege, I won’t tell Auntie Luo.”

Zhan Weiyang said without thinking, “Gege!” He felt that it was not sincere enough, so he added, “Please.”

       Pei Qing said, “Well—okay.”

The author has something to say:
This article is basically about sweet and warm daily life, with no dramatic plot twists or reversals. Even the setbacks are minor, and the overall tone is relatively flat. There might be some issues, but they won’t affect daily life. Growth will occur, but suddenly becoming smarter would be unlikely. Whether there is a secondary couple or not, I will not write in detail.

Chapter 16 – Nightmare

Zhuo Yue was put into the elevator with his hands tied behind his back. He had a napkin firmly stuffed in his mouth and covered with a mask. Along the way, he kept struggling and twisting, making whimpering screams in an attempt to attract the attention of others, but the yellow-haired man covered it up by saying, “He’s drunk.”

He was forced into a room on the tenth floor and thrown on the bed like cargo.

The yellow-haired man directed the thugs, “This kid is not very honest. Leave two people in the room and the other two to guard the door. It’s rare that my eldest brother is in the mood to have fun today. You all should be smarter.” After speaking, he smiled and said to the man with a golden chain, “Eldest Brother, take your time. I’ll go to the South District to collect the bill first.” After that, he left.

Zhuo Yue was still struggling. He wanted to get up from the bed but was firmly held down by the two thugs who stayed in the room.

The man with the golden chain sat down by the bed, pulled out a dagger, put the cold blade against Zhuo Yue’s face, and said, “Star Zhuo, my patience is limited. If you make me angry, I might accidentally scratch your beautiful face; you won’t be able to rely on it for your livelihood anymore.”

Zhuo Yue, lying on the bed face up, dared not move anymore. His handsome face turned pale with fear, his mouth tightly covered by the tablecloth, only able to emit vague guttural sounds. He looked sadly at Zhuo Hai standing in the corner, and there was still a glimmer of hope left in his heart, hoping that his younger brother could save him. But the other person didn’t even look at him, just stared down at the floor.

Zhuo Yue’s heart was ashen, and water filled his eyes.

Seeing his expression, the man with the golden chain squinted his triangular eyes and said with a smile, “You’re about to cry before it even starts. You’re quite enticing like this.” With that, the sharp blade sliced upward from below, cutting open Zhuo Yue’s white sweater and then forcefully tearing apart his cotton thermal undershirt.

Zhuo Yue’s chest was completely exposed to the man. The tight lines outline a well-proportioned figure, and the two pale rose-coloured buds on the chest continue to rise and fall with rapid breathing. The white skin felt the coolness and trembled.

“Increase the temperature.” After the man with the golden chain ordered, he stretched out his tongue and leaned over to slowly lick upward from his navel. The sticky feeling made Zhuo Yue tremble all over, and he struggled again. He hit the man with his knee and knocked him sideways. Suddenly, someone pinched the fragile spot between his legs, causing him to twitch in pain. Only a little of his cry of pain escaped, making him look miserable and sad.

“It seems you enjoy playing it hard.” The man with the golden chain, who was angered by the resistance, said with a bit of cruelty in his voice, “It happens that I like it too.”

He pulled off Zhuo Yue’s pants, held down his kicking legs, peeled off his underwear and threw them aside. Then he grabbed the sleeping genitalia between Zhuo Yue’s legs, tormented and forcefully pinched the pouch, watching the trembling expression of the person beneath him in pain, and grinned, “Zhuo Hai, your brother is doing well; I’ll let you go this time, and next time I’ll find out you’re doing this kind of petty theft…” His words ended here.

“I don’t dare anymore! Chairman Huang, there was no next time. I really don’t dare anymore…” Zhuo Hai promised repeatedly.

       “Get out.”

“Thank you, Chairman Huang, I-I’m leaving…” Zhuo Hai glanced at the bed and caught the tears in the corners of Zhuo Yue’s eyes. As if he was shocked by electricity, he shrank back, lowered his head and went out.

The moment the door closed, Zhuo Yue felt like he had fallen into hell.

“Don’t look like this. You look like you’ve suffered a big loss.” The golden chain man patted his face, “It’s not like I don’t know what’s going on in your circle. In order to play the leading role, you sold your ass to those directors, right? Show me how hard you fvck them, and let me have a good time.” Seeing him languidly lying on the bed and no longer struggling, the man thought Zhuo Yue had figured it out and pulled the cloth out of his mouth.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he pulled it open, the man received a harsh kick to his stomach, causing him to flip off the bed. Zhuo Yue struggled to get up and ran to the window, shouting for help. There were two goons guarding the door, and there were two more goons in the room. It was impossible for him to escape. His only hope now was that there was someone in a nearby room who could hear his cry for help from the window.

The man with the golden chain angrily pulled Zhuo Yue’s hair and threw him on the bed. Then he pushed his neck with his left hand and slapped him with his right hand. This blow was so hard that it tilted Zhuo Yue’s head to one side, and his head was buzzing. “Damn it, I’ll make sure you won’t be able to run!” The man punched Zhuo Yue in the stomach again, causing him to scream and curl up. As if he still wasn’t satisfied, he ordered with a gloomy face, “Ah Kuan, bring the things over here. I will teach this underfvcked thing a good lesson today.”

A thug placed a small black suitcase next to the bed and opened it.

Zhuo Yue shrank back in horror when he saw what was inside.

“Tie his hands, gag his mouth, and give him some medicine.” The man with the golden chain sat on the chair beside the bed and rubbed his stomach.

The thugs followed the instructions and tied Zhuo Yue’s hands to the bedside, forced him to open his mouth, and pressed a medium-sized gag into his mouth. Then they covered his nose, let go when he was about to suffocate, and put a white medicine bottle under his nose, repeated it three times. After doing all this, the two stood aside again.

Zhuo Yue didn’t know what he breathed in, but he just felt it was an indescribable smell. Gradually, his face and body began to heat up, and his heart started to beat faster. The heat condensed and slowly gathered around his lower abdomen, making him curl up his legs uncomfortably. His body became very soft, and he couldn’t use any strength at all.

The man with the golden chain saw that it was about time before he returned to the bed, spread Zhuo Yue’s legs, and teased his genitals with his hands. He didn’t let go until he was fully erect. He said sarcastically, “Acting like you’re not willing to do it, but just with a little of this, you get so ho-ny, you little s/ut.” As he spoke, he slid his fingers down to open the crack of Zhuo Yue’s buttocks, put his middle finger on the closed hole, and asked, “Is it itchy here too? Do you want me to fvck you hard? Hm?”

Zhuo Yue was speechless with the gag in his mouth and shook his head desperately with tears in his eyes.

“You don’t want to do it yet? Then let’s do something else.” The man smiled, “Aren’t you a star? Stars like to stand there and pose for people to take pictures of. You look very beautiful like this, and I’m sure we can take some pictures. It’ll definitely sell for a lot of money.”

Zhuo Yue’s face turned pale, and he curled up as hard as he could. His bound wrists had deep red marks from the struggle. He was like a caged bird, fluttering its wings desperately.

The sound of the shutter being pressed, the flash that kept lighting up, and the dark lens facing him…

His genitals were pinched and ravaged continuously, the nipples on his chest were licked and bitten, leaving water stains, his legs were pulled apart to expose his hole in the back… He was put into various humiliating positions by men and played with wantonly.

And that camera was like a dark and empty eye, recording everything.

“Tsk, tsk, the big star’s asshole is different from others, it’s very tender.” The man with the golden chain slowly inserted his finger into the mouth of the pu/ssy, provoking an instinctive shiver, the sphincter muscle contracted in response, and the wet, soft and tight texture made the man happy. After a few taps, he said, “It’s so damn tight. Have you never been fvcked before? I really found a treasure this time. Come on, let’s get a close-up of how our big star’s asshole opens in my hand.”

When three fingers were fully inserted, Zhuo Yue twitched, and a suppressed nasal sound came from the mouth blocked by the gag. He lay limply with no tears in his eyes.

The humiliation and pain all turned into despair.

It was as if the soul had died, and all that was left was a lifeless body.

The man with the golden chain inserted a medium-sized massage di-do greased with lubricant into his back hole, then removed his gag and sneered, “Don’t look like you’re dying; I have all your naughty photos. It’s stored in the camera. If you don’t satisfy me, I will post them all online so that everyone can see how ho-ny you are.” He unzipped his pants, patted Zhuo Yue’s cheek and said, “Use your upper mouth to serve my big c0ck. Let it be happy. it will take a while to feed that little mouth of yours down there.”

An hour had already passed, and Lin Hui, waiting downstairs, couldn’t resist making a phone call, only to find it was switched off. Instantly, anxiety gripped him.

Zhuo Yue has the habit of keeping his phone on 24 hours a day, and his phone was fully charged before going out today. He was not a talkative person to begin with, and since he had an estranged relationship with his younger brother, it was logical that he would not chat for such a long time.

Lin Hui felt uneasy and went to the restaurant waiter to ask. There had always been fights between gamblers in this hotel before, and the waiters didn’t dare to intervene and said they didn’t see them. He couldn’t get any information, so he had to look for Zhuo Yue himself. He pushed into every private room and looked around, but he didn’t see anyone. Now, he was really panicking. However, Director Shen Luo’s phone was busy. He thought for a while and dialled Fang Mingyan’s secretary’s number.

Huasheng’s security mission had always been handled by the security company under Golden Eagle. Tang Can was reporting to the Second Young Master Chu’s office when he received the call from Fang Mingyan. After learning about the situation, he immediately sent someone to investigate.

“Huasheng’s person is missing?” Chu Yu raised his eyes, “What’s his name?”

“The name is Zhuo Yue. It’s a call from Young Master Ming himself.” Tang Can replied.

“Zhuo Yue.” Chu Yu repeated it, recalling in his mind the handsome man standing in the sunshine with Xu Ye that day and smiling. He pondered for a moment and said, “Since it was him who called, you can handle it yourself.”

Tang Can was a little surprised. After all, the Second Young Master had never directly assigned him to do such chores as finding someone. After thinking about it, he felt a little clearer and asked, “Is Young Master Ming’s person?”

“Mingyan is very fond of him.”

“I understand.” Tang Can set off immediately.

When Fang Mingyan arrived, Tang Can also arrived. The bodyguard behind him pressed down on Zhuo Hai, who had a bruised nose and swollen face and got out of the car.

“What did you find out?” Fang Mingyan asked as he walked. He was tall and walked very fast. He was at the elevator entrance in a blink of an eye.

Tang Can entered the elevator with him and said, “I found his brother Zhuo Hai. According to him, he is in room 1066. The man who tied up Zhuo Yue is named Huang Renbiao. I heard…” He paused here and glanced at the man standing beside him, then awkwardly added the second half of the sentence, “I heard he likes to play some tricks.”

Fang Mingyan said nothing and looked at the illuminated floors expressionlessly as the elevator ascended, with a chilling look in his cold eyes.

The two thugs guarding the gate were knocked down by Tang Can’s men almost instantly, without even having time to make a sound. Tang Can made arrangements in a low voice, “You two follow me inside, and the rest of you will stay outside to guard. No one is allowed to escape.”

Even though he was mentally prepared, Fang Mingyan’s pupils shrank sharply at the sight he saw after breaking in.

The naked Zhuo Yue was firmly held down on the bed by two strong men, one on the left and the other on the right. His head was pressed between the legs of another man with a wretched face, and he kept shaking with the movement of his crotch.

Seeing someone breaking in, the two thugs let go of Zhuo Yue and were about to pounce on him. When they saw the black muzzle of the gun, they froze immediately and were dragged out of the room trembling. At that moment Huang Renbiao was frightened and backed away from Zhuo Yue’s mouth and he had an orga-m. The sticky semen splashed on Zhuo Yue’s face, and the fishy smell made him lie on the bed and retching.

“Get out of here!” Tang Can said with a sullen face and asked Huang Renbiao, who was frightened and weak in the legs, to be dragged out of the room. He looked at Zhuo Yue, who was vomiting and convulsing, and said to Fang Mingyan next to him, “Do you want me to call a doctor to come and take a look at him?”

The man’s eyes stayed on Zhuo Yue. He was silent for a moment and said, “Leave this place to me. Those scumbags are not to be released until I say so, including his brother.”

Tang Can nodded and left. He felt that, in some aspects, this man was really similar to his second young master. The more he cared about someone, the more calm and scary he became.

Chapter 15 – Brothers

With the sound of firecrackers, the old year had passed like this.

At the beginning of the new year, the broadcast of ‘The Right Time to Fall in Love’ caused a huge response across the country. The romance between Zhuo Yue and Sun Xinxin, the lead singer of a girl group, was like a fairy tale of a prince and a princess, captivating the hearts of many young girls. Besides the regular weekly filming of this program, he also took on a television drama, juggling between shoots, advertisements, fan meetings, and other activities with a schedule that was frighteningly packed.

In the entertainment industry, the turnover of talent was extremely rapid, with a constant stream of newcomers eagerly eyeing the positions of their predecessors, plotting to replace them. Therefore, everyone in the industry understood the importance of striking while the iron was hot. Artists like Zhuo Yue, who had experienced setbacks in the past, understood the value of seizing opportunities. During the busiest times, he slept for only about two hours a day. In front of others, he always smiled brightly, maintaining his best condition while working. He was no longer the cold and unsociable person he used to be when interacting with others; instead, he was cheerful and friendly with everyone. He would only allow himself to rest once all the work was finished, either closing his eyes for a nap in the car or on the plane, all exhausted.

Lin Hui was a little worried because Zhuo Yue was becoming more and more silent in private. After spending these days together, he understood that Zhu Yue was not a person who was good at getting close to others and that those warm and gregarious moments were actually just acting. This made him even more tired, like a string that had been stretched for a long time, operating under a constant overload. The company assigned him a special nanny car, a stylist, and an agent. When he was not working, he hardly spoke at all and even communicated with them very little. Lin Hui reported the situation to Shen Luo, and she called Zhuo Yue to ask if it was necessary to reduce the schedule appropriately. Zhuo Yue immediately rejected it, saying that he just lacked sleep and was not energetic, so he would be fine after a nap. Lin Hui stood aside and looked at him worriedly, not knowing what to do.

An accident happened during the filming of ‘The Right Time to Fall in Love’.

The two were filming the scene of exchanging ceramic cups in a ceramics museum. Zhuo Yue stood up and went to pick up the cup in Sun Xinxin’s hand, only to feel an overwhelming dizziness. His eyesight went dark, and he fell to the ground, and the cup was shattered.

The news that he fainted during filming quickly spread like wildfire, and many reporters and fans gathered at the entrance of the hospital to wait for the news. An hour later, Huasheng issued an official statement saying that Zhuo Yue fainted due to hypoglycemia and was currently hospitalised for observation. Fans refused to give up and scolded Huasheng for being inconsiderate to the artist and making Zhuo Yue faint from overworking.

When Fang Mingyan opened the door to the ward, Zhuo Yue had already woken up, leaning on the bedside to hook up an IV drip, talking to Shen Luo, and was slightly startled when he saw him come in.

“Lin Hui, come with me to the doctor to ask about the situation. I didn’t quite catch it just now.”Shen Luo made a lame excuse, winked at Lin Hui, and the two of them fled out together.

They were the only two left in the ward.

Zhuo Yue, who was wearing a hospital gown, had a look of discomfort on his face. He lowered his head and said, “I’ve caused you trouble.”

“Indeed.” The man took off his cashmere coat and threw it on the small sofa, laughing at himself, “I’ve gone to great lengths to make you famous, but I’m still being criticised by your fans, who say that I’ve been squeezing and abusing you in order to make money and that I don’t feed you or let you sleep. I didn’t even know I was such a vicious, bad boss.”

“I’m sorry.” Zhuo Yue felt a little guilty, “I didn’t expect this… I was in a hurry today, and I didn’t have time to have breakfast…”

“That’s fine.” Fang Mingyan sat down on the stool beside the bed, took an orange, peeled it and handed it to him, “I’ll give you a week off.”

Zhuo Yue was surprised, “I have a TV drama and an announcement to make.”

“Since I gave you a week’s holiday, I will be responsible for coordinating these issues, so you don’t need to worry about it.” The man glanced at him and said, “I gave you a holiday to rest. If I find out you’re not behaving yourself during your vacation…” The words ended here; the deep gaze came with a sense of oppression. Zhuo Yue pursed his lips and lowered his head to avoid his gaze, “I will take a good rest, thank you, Chairman Fang.”

Zhuo Yue slept for two whole days.

The previous period of time was like a war every day, which made him exhausted. Now, he finally had a chance to take a break, and his whole body relaxed like a bear that only wanted to hibernate, curled up in bed and not wanting to get up, with the assistant delivering meals to the door three times a day.

Zhuo Yue’s previous reluctance to speak worried Lin Hui. He had been in this industry for some time, and he also understood that these celebrities who were glamorous in front of others were under a lot of pressure. Some of them suffered from severe depression and had to take a lot of medication. Now Zhuo Yue was much more energetic and talked a little more. Every day during meals, Lin Hui would sit down and chat with him for a while.

The two of them were talking about the new drama when the cell phone rang. Zhuo Yue showed a surprised expression when he saw the call. He got up and walked to the window to answer the call. After saying a few words, he hung up. He pondered for a moment and said to Lin Hui, “Come pick me up at 11 o’clock tomorrow.”

       “Is there a social engagement?”

“I’m having a meal with my brother. Don’t call Lao Yang and the others; just send me there.”

Lin Hui nodded. He was always on time and was waiting downstairs in the apartment at eleven o’clock sharp the next day. Zhuo Yue showed up wearing a mask and a long down jacket and asked Lin Hui to take him to the Golden Bay Hotel.

This hotel was, at best, a four-star hotel, and its location was a bit off. The police caught a lot of gamblers here a while ago, and the business had plummeted recently. Lin Hui advised, “This place is a bit…Yue ge, why don’t you ask your brother to eat somewhere else?”

“He never listens to me.” Zhuo Yue smiled bitterly, “I haven’t contacted him for a long time. It’s rare that he took the initiative to ask me to have a meal. If he proposed to change places, he would probably never call me again.”

“I rarely hear you mention him.”

“We don’t have much contact. He has hated me since he was a child.” Seeing Lin Hui’s surprised expression, he smiled, “A strange guy suddenly moved into the house and took away things that originally belonged to him. It was probably difficult to accept.”

Lin Hui didn’t know what to say. He sighed, parked the car in front of the hotel, and said, “I’ll wait below. Ge, you should be careful. If those paparazzi take pictures, they will write nonsense.”

Zhuo Yue responded and got out of the car.

The last time he and Zhuo Hai met was on Christmas Day a year ago when the other party asked him for 50,000 yuan. Since Zhuo Yue became a celebrity, Zhuo Hai has always asked him for money. Zhuo Yue found it difficult to deal with his younger brother. He was grateful to his adoptive parents, so he was always very generous to Zhuo Hai in terms of money, almost always responding to his requests. However, Zhuo Hai did not have a fixed job and hung out every day. He wanted to persuade, but every time he opened his mouth, he was rebuffed with a nonchalant tone. Later, he was hidden away, and his adoptive father was in debt. Zhuo Hai never contacted him again. His original number was abandoned, and he couldn’t even contact his parents. This time, he contacted him uncharacteristically and made no mention of money at all.

The elevator reached the third floor, and Zhuo Hai was outside the door. He was tall and thin, wearing a black leather jacket and a pair of oversized sunglasses on the bridge of his nose, covering half of his face. There was also a muscular man standing next to him.

“Ge.” Zhuo Hai grinned and walked over, put a hand on his shoulder and said, “Long time no see.”

This rare enthusiasm made Zhu Yue feel a strange and uneasy feeling in his heart. His eyes fell on the other person who was not moving, and he asked, “Ah Hai, who is this?”

“Friends who are here to have a meal.” Zhuo Hai hooked his shoulder and walked towards the private room area, “It was too lonely only for us to have a meal, so I invited a few friends to join in the fun. They didn’t believe you were my brother; I wanted to let you meet them, so they opened their eyes.”

Zhuo Yue stopped and said with some embarrassment, “Ah Hai, I’m not suitable for appearing in crowded places. Can we find a place to eat alone?”

Zhuo Hai let go of him and sneered, “I think you meant it’s not suitable for having meals with me, right?”

“That was not what I meant…”

“Come on, I understand. You are a big star, and I am a gangster, and you look down on me. That’s right. What kind of friends can Zhuo Hai have? How unworthy is it to eat with you?” After saying that, he turned around and left.

“Ah Hai!” Zhuo Yue became anxious, took his arm, and said, “You know that’s not what I meant. There is no such thing between us brothers.”

Zhuo Hai’s face and expression were hidden by his sunglasses. He was silent for a while and asked, “Do you want to eat this meal?”

“Let’s go.” Zhuo Yue agreed reluctantly.

Pushing open the private room’s door, Zhuo Yue frowned due to the heavy smell of smoke.

There were only two people sitting at the large round table. The man sitting at the main seat was about forty years old, with a thick yellow-gold chain hanging around his neck. The man next to him had yellow hair and a deep scar on his chin. Four burly men who looked like thugs stood behind them, with blue-grey tattoos on their exposed necks and arms, staring at Zhu Yue with cold eyes. The muscular man who had been following them did not come in and seemed to have stayed outside the door.

Holding the cigarette between his two fingers, he took out a puff of smoke, raised the corners of his lips and said, “Sit down. I didn’t expect that you kid actually has a celebrity brother.”

“Ge, sit down.” Zhuo Hai’s voice was a little lower. He pushed Zhu Yue to sit next to the man and sat next to him. At this moment, he took off his sunglasses, revealing his whole face. Zhu Yue looked at the bruises and bruises on his eye circles and said in shock, “What’s wrong with your face…”

“It was an accident.” Zhuo Hai glanced at the gold chain with an embarrassed look and said, “This is Chairman Huang. I work under him. He has always taken good care of me. This one next to me is Zhou ge.”

Zhuo Yue saw the situation in front of him and had a rough guess in his mind. The injuries on Zhuo Hai’s face were definitely not caused by himself. It was most likely caused by the people in front of him. He called him here because he probably owed money to others. However, the matter had come to this, and he couldn’t ignore it, so he could only greet the other party politely, “Hello, I am Zhuo Yue, Ah Hai’s big brother.”

The man with the golden chain flicked the cigarette ashes casually, looked at him with a smile on his lips, and said, “I’ve seen you on TV. You two brothers don’t look alike, but you are much prettier than Zhuo Hai.” The gaze was like a snake staring at the frog, so nakedly full of desire that it made Zhuo Yue’s whole body stiff. He forced himself to smile and said, “Thank you, Chairman Huang, for taking care of Ah Hai all the time. He is young and energetic and doesn’t know what’s important. If he makes any mistakes, please be kind and considerate of him.”

“You didn’t even raise your glass. Aren’t you being a little less sincere in your thanks?” The yellow-haired man spoke.

Zhuo Yue looked ashamed and said very sincerely, “I should have toasted Chairman Huang, but I have a shoot in the afternoon, and I can’t drink. You also know that in our industry, if we don’t film well, we will have nothing to eat. Next time I’ll be the host and I’ll toast you properly when the time comes.”

The man with the golden chain laughed and said, “It’s hard to be in your line of work, but it’s not easy to be in our line of work either. Your brother offended someone in the business and came to me for protection. I kindly took him in and asked him to help me. In the end, he plucked his feathers and put the money in his pocket and spent it happily.” He stared at Zhu Yue with his triangular eyes and asked, “What is this called? Eating other’s portion?”

Zhuo Yue’s suspicion was confirmed. It was really about money. He glanced at Zhuo Hai, who had his head lowered and did not dare to speak out, and said with a smile, “Chairman Huang, how much money has he taken from the company? I will find a way to pay him back…”

“Money is an external possession, not important.” The man with the golden chain interrupted him, put the cigarette butt in his hand into the ashtray, and said, “There are rules for you in your line of work, and there are rules for us in our line of work. The only reason your brother’s hand is still on his arm is because he promised to exchange it for something else.” The man looked at him with a smirk, “Now You should know why he asked you to come here.”

Zhuo Yue’s heart suddenly sank, and he said stiffly, “Chairman Huang, I can pay you back all the money he took, or you can charge interest…”

“Ah Hai.” The yellow-haired man said to Zhuo Hai, “He came here especially to save you. Why don’t you give him a toast?”

Zhuo Hai stood up like a thunderbolt, took the cup filled with wine and put it into Zhuo Yue’s hand. Then he picked up his own cup and touched it with him. He said, “Ge, I toast you.” He then tilted his head back and drank all the alcohol in his cup. Glancing in the direction of the host’s seat, he whispered with a lowered voice, “Ge, you should drink this wine; it might make you feel better later…”

Zhuo Yue was so angry that he threw the cup at him, got up and walked out. However, the thugs were already prepared, grabbed him, and pinned him down on the chair again. One of them reached into his pocket, snatched the phone away, and turned it off.

“Let go! You are breaking the law!” Zhuo Yue struggled and shouted.

The man with the golden chain walked up to him, pinched his chin with cigarette-smelling hands, and said with a sinister smile, “Since the Star Zhuo doesn’t want to drink, let’s do something more interesting somewhere else.”

Chapter 33 – Morning Cloud (3)

After persisting for more than a month, the war on Eta finally came to an end with a settlement. For the imperial monarch, who seemed ambitious to the outside world, this result was not satisfactory. Moschery’s first defeat since taking office was, after all, at the hands of Olympus.

Although Arthur eventually leaned towards the royal family, Skarter’s military power was stripped by the Cabinet.

“Your Majesty is still too young.” Mrs. Berlin said lightly, “I hope you will not be so hasty about marriage, lest it ultimately fail.”

Moschery’s face was very grim. He did not show anger and spoke calmly, “I always remember what you taught me as a child, to stick to my emotions and political stance.” The young emperor paused and looked at Berlin, “I’ve never let you down in all these years, have I?”

Qin Yun now went to Chris for check-ups every day. He seemed to be very interested in curing his brain nerves, although the effect has been minimal.

“The brains of the guide and sentinel are very strange.” Chris took the report and analysed it, “The brain nerve disruptor is completely useless to the sentinel. It should be said that aside from their own genetic flaws, the existence of sentinels is like a powerful bug… Is it probably because they were created by humans?”

“…” Qin Yun: “Actually, I don’t understand what you are telling me…”

Chris looked at him with a lot of dissatisfaction, “You are about to become the First Lady; can’t you make some contribution to the country’s scientific research culture?”

Qin Yun was heartbroken and said, “I volunteered myself for you to study as you like… What else do you want?!”

Ba Jin was waiting all the way at the entrance of the palace for Qin Yun to get off the aircraft. He took the physical examination report from the other party’s hand with a very sad expression.

“Your Majesty is in a bad mood today.” The old butler Ba Jin sighed.

“What’s wrong?” Qin Yun stopped changing his shoes and frowned, “Did you have another quarrel with the Cabinet this afternoon?”

Ba Jin: “And the conflict on Eta Star… Losing a war is never a good thing.”

Qin Yun nodded. He washed his hands and prepared to look for Moschery. However, he turned around and couldn’t find him, so he had no choice but to continue looking in the garden.

Finally, he found His Majesty the Emperor beneath the royal extravagant gold aircraft he decorated.

Moschery was lying on the turf with his arms as a pillow. The sun had just set, and the afterglow covered his face gently. Qin Yun looked aside for a while. As soon as he crouched down, Moschery suddenly pressed his shoulders and pulled him into his arms.

“…” Qin Yun’s side face was pressed against the Emperor’s chest, “Aren’t you asleep?”

Moschery didn’t open his eyes. He pinched Qin Yun’s neck for a long time before he lazily spoke, “What are the results of the examination?”

“It’s still the same.” Qin Yun said sadly, “Chris can’t cure it either.”

Moschery lowered his head, held Qin Yun’s face, and rubbed his nose, “I don’t mind.”

Qin Yun was coaxed to laugh out loud by him, but Moschery remained expressionless, stroking his guide’s hair again and again.

“I’m sorry.” Moschery said suddenly. He pressed Qin Yun’s head to prevent him from looking up and seeing his face, “I’m a loser. I couldn’t protect you.”

Qin Yun wanted to struggle but was held tightly by Moschery.

“Listen to me.” Moschery said helplessly, “I don’t just want to repent.”

Qin Yun was stiff and did not move. The sentinel’s hand squeezed his neck lightly or hard. Moschery’s voice was low and gentle. He said slowly, “I love you, and I want to marry you.”

“…” Qin Yun was silent, “Didn’t you say yes to it before?”

“The previous one doesn’t count. I didn’t make a good draft and was too nervous.” Moschery frowned. He thought for a long time and came to the conclusion, “It’s not perfect enough.”

Qin Yun: “…do you have to do this every time before doing something important?”

Moschery looked at him, “What kind?”

Qin Yun shrugged, “Drafting, writing a script, making a strategy?”

“No, Lin Dongliang will be in charge of meetings or speeches.” Moschery said coldly and expressionlessly, “I will prepare it myself if it is something I want to do for you.”

       Qin Yun: “…”

Moschery: “There are also reflections and diaries.”

       Qin Yun: “…can I take a look?”

“Maybe it’s better not to.” The Emperor said awkwardly with an ugly face, “I find it cringeworthy and nauseating myself.”

       Qin Yun: “…”

In the end, Qin Yun failed to pry the so-called Emperor’s love diary out of Moschery’s mouth. He lay on the ground a bit shamelessly and refused to get up. The impatient sentinel forcibly carried him on his shoulders.

“Why are you so shy?” Qin Yun complained, “Things like diaries should be framed. They are so memorable.”

Moschery regretted telling the other person this. With a stinky face and unwillingness to pay attention to the person, Moschery carried the person all the way into the room.

As a result, when he entered the living room, he found Chen Xiao waiting inside.

“Yo~” The handsome oriental man with peach blossom eyes greeted the two of them with an ambiguous expression, “It’s not dark yet; don’t be so intense.”

Qin Yun climbed down from Moschery’s shoulders in embarrassment. He blushed because he was being carried upside down, “Why are you here?”

Chen Xiao said proudly, “I am the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Department, so of course I can come if you need anything.”

       Moschery said clearly, “Found it?”

“?” Qin Yun was a little confused, “What did you find?”

Chen Xiao smiled and opened the holographic map. He quickly traced a place with his finger and clicked lightly, “Your adoptive mother, Bixi, now lives in Horqin Grassland. It really took us a lot of effort to find her.”

Qin Yun half-opened his mouth in surprise. Bixi had not changed at all in the holographic map. Her long silver hair was simply pulled up. She was petite, but she did not look thin. She was sitting on the horse and looking back.

“I think you should hope that she can be there when we get married.” The Emperor seemed to have done nothing and pretended to be relaxed. “I have prepared several gifts in advance… What does your mother like?”

Although Moschery had a good idea, Lin Dongliang did not give him a chance to implement it. In addition to Arthur’s army needing to be reorganised, the Emperor’s personal image also had to be re-maintained due to the war on Eta Star. Moschery might not be able to leave the Imperial Capital in a short period of time.

The Emperor was so angry that he couldn’t sleep at night, and Zhongyan even had a bad temper. He had to squeeze into the bed every night and sleep between the two of them.

Qin Yun didn’t mind since he couldn’t see it anyway, but Moschery couldn’t take it. One person and one dragon had to toss each other until midnight every night, with pillows flying here and there and occasionally hitting Qin Yun’s face.

Of course, Zhongyan always wins in the end. The proud and majestic giant dragon holds Qin Yun’s arm proudly, but unfortunately, his face is too big, and he can’t hide in Qin Yun’s arms.

“Can I turn over?” Qin Yun moved his arms cautiously, “It won’t overwhelm it, right?”

Moschery said stiffly and angrily, “It can’t be crushed, so what are you afraid of?”

Zhongyan swung his tail in anger, and his rhinestone pillow was cut open because of too much movement.

       Moschery: “…”

       Qin Yun: “…”

“Go away and cry if you want to cry!” Moschery roared angrily, “You’re not allowed to blow your fvcking nose on the sheets!”
