Chapter 30

The sense of shame and indulgence that arose after letting go of the baggage and fully entering the role made the sexual intercourse more vivid than ever before. The depression and pain during the process made the belated climax extremely intense. Chu Yunhan, who had been suppressed for a long time, spasmed uncontrollably under such stimulation and fell with no strength. He even felt that his heartbeat had stopped for a few seconds as if he was about to die.

       Good.

       So good.

It feels so good that my body can hardly bear the load.

He closed his eyes and felt the waves of aftertaste rippling through his body, finally feeling the satisfaction he had not felt for a long time. It was like being wrapped in a huge and soft cocoon, and he wanted to stay trapped in it, indulge in it, think of nothing, do nothing until the end of the world.

However, as the climax subsided, his sanity eventually recovered, and his gradually regained consciousness would pull him back to the real world bit by bit. The cocoon that surrounded him
was an embrace—a warm skin, a firm chest, and a body that exuded a refreshing light fragrance.

He was held by Chu Yichen.

And just now, the other party used a di-do to make him want to die. Not only did he call ‘Master’, but he also cried and begged for mercy without dignity
Thinking of all this, Chu Yunhan’s face couldn’t help but get hot; even the tips of his ears were red. He closed his eyes tightly and remained motionless.

After having sex with other men, he would always have a lingering feeling of disgust, but this time, there was none—just embarrassment and shame. He really didn’t know how to face Chu Yichen, so he could only pretend to be dead spinelessly.

After a while, he felt himself being lifted up and placed on the bed in the back room, with a thin blanket covering him.

He could hide for a while, but he couldn’t hide for a lifetime. However
What should he say when he opened his eyes? Just when he was extremely confused, he felt the bed move, and his side sank slightly.

Chu Yunhan was slightly surprised. He looked over secretly and saw the man lying on his back next to him with his eyes closed.

       Is he
tired?

He looked at the other person with inquiring eyes and hesitated slightly when he saw a certain bulge.

Chu Yichen is a Dom. During the training process, he would get pleasure from controlling his sub. Besides, the other party would naturally react to how he acted just now. However, Chu Yunhan didn’t allow substantial penetration in the contract, so at the moment, the man could only endure it.

       He seems
 quite miserable.

Chu Yunhan didn’t know why this idea suddenly popped up in his mind, and then he changed his mind and thought, Crazy guy, have you forgotten how miserable you were because of this guy before? Now that the scar has healed, you forget about the pain and feel sorry for him, right? He shook his head and looked away from the man’s crotch. When he raised his eyes, he happened to catch the other man’s gaze.

Chu Yichen’s face turned slightly sideways. The yellowish light softened the outline. The high bridge of his nose made his eyes appear deeper. A pair of dark eyes were watching him quietly.

Chu Yunhan sat up awkwardly, said, “I’m going to take a shower,” and entered the bathroom. When he came out after washing, the man was gone. The props were neatly packed away, and even the residual turbid liquid on the sofa had been wiped clean. The black secondary card and a signed contract remained on the table.

The reason for this avoidance was not to let him have any burden.

Chu Yichen really managed to get along with him ‘like a stranger’.

       He was really
 considerate.

Chu Yunhan stood in the empty room momentarily, got dressed, and put the card and contract into his pocket. He put on a white half-face mask and pushed out the door.

If there were a first time, there would be a second and third time

The frequency between the two was maintained once or twice a week. As Chu Yunhan gradually unravelled his knot and approached BDSM with a more open and peaceful attitude, the interactions between the two became richer. Despite the limitations imposed by that contract, Chu Yichen still found ways to add new elements within the prescribed limits, giving him a different kind of pleasure. His discomfort with the term ‘slave’ gradually disappeared, and calling him ‘Master’ became more and more comfortable. The man controlled the overall situation, and the frequency of his release, and the game stopped every time after he ejaculated.

After it was over, the two of them would lie quietly on the bed for a while—one to rest and the other to calm down their desires. Then, one went to take a shower, during which time the other packed everything up and left. This way of getting along had become an implicit and fixed action between them. There were no unnecessary words or awkward interactions.

After his body was satisfied, his mind became more stable. Correspondingly, he was more focused when working and would no longer appear restless. He majored in economics and trade, and he was not stupid. As he learned and practised, he gradually learned some ways of doing business. He also managed several companies he took over in an orderly manner and was currently considering a few big projects. In his free time, he would go swimming, exercise, and occasionally drink with his friends, but he never spent the night with anyone else.

It was not that he valued that contract too much. It was just that others couldn’t give him that strong feeling, and he didn’t want to ruin the current state between the two. Chu Yunhan understood that their current relationship was weird and fragile. It was like standing on two ends of a scale that was finally balanced. The slightest movement would destroy the balance.

       From now on, will they
 continue like this?

As he thought about this problem, he was tied naked, with one left leg lifted back by a rope and hung on the torture rack, exposing the secret part of his crotch.

There was a ‘pop’ sound, and the pain in his perineum made him gasp. He turned his eyes to the man standing in front of him and called softly, “Master.”

“Being merciful and not tying you up too tightly has allowed you to relax, hasn’t it?” Chu Yichen said slowly, turning the rubber hand clap. Chu Yunhan, who was caught red-handed, knew he would be punished, so he honestly and proactively admitted his mistake, “
I was wrong.”

The man threw the hand clap on the table, held his left leg with one hand, and tightened the rope with the other hand, forcing his leg to be raised higher. This one-legged hanging posture already made his centre of gravity unstable. In addition, his hands were also tightly tied behind his back. His body showed a swallow-like posture that made it extremely difficult to maintain balance, and he swayed back and forth a few times before he could barely hold on to his position. These few swaying movements alone had already made him gasp, and sweat broke out on his forehead. He looked at the other party in embarrassment, and his tone sounded like he was begging for mercy, “Master
”

“Is there any discomfort?” Chu Yichen carefully checked the rope again and tried the tightness.

       “It’s
uncomfortable down there.” He replied with a blush.

Hearing this, the man raised his thin lips and smiled. He glanced at the small remote control on the table and said, “If you feel uncomfortable
 Shall I turn it on?”

Chu Yunhan shook his head hurriedly, “No, don’t turn it on
 please.”

A thick di-do covered with protrusions was inserted deeply between his buttocks. The knotted rope was just right on the sensitive point. The rope was embedded in the crack of his buttocks. Just a slight shake of the body would cause a burst of electric shock-like pleasure, and a numbing feeling flowed one by one, with a tendency to become more and more intense. The nipples also showed a bright red colour due to the constant friction of the rope, and they stood up hard. However, the genitals in front of him were not restrained in any way and could only be swollen and erect due to the torment of desire. Just thrusting without moving made him unable to control himself. If the switch were turned on
he would definitely not be able to hold on for a while before he would ejaculate

But just now, his master gave him an order not to ejaculate and clearly told him what punishment he would receive—ten slaps on the butt.

After being beaten, it would be difficult for him to sit in the meeting tomorrow, so he had to endure it. He took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself down but was made to groan by the sudden tightening of the rope.

Chu Yichen leaned aside leisurely, holding the rope hanging on the top of the torture frame casually with one hand. He looked at him jokingly and said, “Is it still uncomfortable? Do you need me to adjust it again?”

Chu Yunhan was shaking again and was so tortured that he was about to cry. The small hole at the front was already secreting transparent liquid under stimulation. He gasped softly and said, “No more
”

Now he knew where the top dom’s skills lay. After being tied up, his body was controlled entirely in the hands of the other party. The windings could not only fix oneself in various positions but also accurately adjust the angle and tightness without any physical contact. He used the rope to ravage every sensitive point of his body, triggering his desire. The arrangement of the knots was clever and flexible, and every movement could affect the whole body. The move just now not only felt like an invasion between the legs but also felt like a strong tug on the chest, which was so painful and numb that it almost drove him crazy.

“You don’t want it either? It’s nerve-wracking. My slave is really difficult to take care of.” The man lifted up his hand to pat again, walked around behind him, and raised his hand to pat his strong buttocks. This blow was not heavy, but it drove the di-do inserted into the hole and hit the sensitive point hard. Chu Yunhan almost ejaculated from this blow. He bit his lower lip hard and arched his back.

This action was like a domino being knocked over, causing a series of chain reactions to the bound body, causing the tide of orga-m to surge.

He didn’t dare to move anymore and could only breathe heavily.

“Do you feel comfortable?” Chu Yichen’s voice came from behind, with a hint of teasing.

Chu Yunhan was afraid that he would be tortured if he said he felt uncomfortable, so he could only blush and say, “
it feels good.”

“Want to feel even better?” The warm breath, which was close to the ear and blew on the skin, caused a tingling sensation.

He knew that he would be played with, tortured, and turned into a shameful state next, but he was filled with anticipation and excitement in his heart. He pursed his dry lips, closed his eyes, and said generously, “I want to
 “

After saying that, he was slapped on the buttocks again. He groaned and said the model words in embarrassment, “Master, I want
”

Next, the man’s slender fingers touched his full sac, deliberately scratching his genitals and said, “Tell me your identity.”

“I am your slave.” He blurted out with almost no hesitation.

       “Tell me your rights.”

“As a slave, I don’t have any rights. My rights can only come from what you give. Ugh
” His c0ck was suddenly held, making him raise his neck impatiently.

       “Tell me about your obligations.”

       “
Ah, haah
” The hand wrapped the rod and moved up and down. The increasing pleasure made him almost speechless, “My duty is
to make you
happy
”

“Very good.” The man chuckled, “Now call me louder, and I’ll let you cum when I’m satisfied.”

The oppression and control of his body made the feeling of being dominated stronger, and the teasing words in his ears made his heart tremble and unable to control himself. Chu Yunhan couldn’t hold it back any longer and moaned wildly. In the end, he reached a climax in the pleasure of being attacked from both sides.

After untying the rope, he only felt that his left leg was sore and numb, and his right leg was weak. He lay on the bed for a while. He wanted to force himself to get up and take a shower, but he couldn’t stand firmly and almost fell down. Chu Yichen stretched out his hand to support him and said, “Lie down and let me massage you.”

Two people were on the bed, one lying naked and the other concentrating on massaging the other’s legs.

The atmosphere was extremely quiet, and some long-lost embarrassment suddenly arose.

Chu Yunhan coughed dryly and said, “I’m really numb after being tied up for a long time.”

“This kind of binding method, which is aimed at restraining the posture, puts a strong sense of oppression on the body. It will be better to switch to tortoise shell binding or upright binding.”

He had not studied these things and did not know what postures ‘tortoise shell binding’ and ‘upright binding’ were, but in this experience, Chu Yunhan could feel the restraint, oppression, and even a sense of restraint brought by the binding. The sense of objectification made the feeling of being conquered, controlled and ravaged more intense, and the friction between the rope and the body made it easier to fall. Now that he thought about it, Chu Yichen had never used any of these on him before. At most, he had simply bound his hands and feet. This made him a little puzzled, and he blurted out, “Why haven’t you done this to me before?”

This was the first time he had taken the initiative to talk about the past. The man was silent for a moment and said, “It is easy to have problems when the other party does not cooperate. The sub might get injured.”

Chu Yunhan was stunned and said ‘Oh’. He glanced at the still bulging part of the man’s crotch and said nothing.

Chapter 82

Zhan Weiguang arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. Zhan Weiyang hadn’t remembered to inform him, but Pei Qing had.

When he came, Zhan Pengcheng had just woken up, so he sat by the bed, looked at Zhan Pengcheng, and said seriously, “Can you drink less?”

Before Zhan Pengcheng spoke, Pei Qing, who was standing beside him, said, “Do you think your father wants to?”

Zhan Weiguang turned around and said angrily, “He usually doesn’t drink less either!” After saying that, Zhan Weiguang also felt that his tone was too heavy. He stood up and silently helped Zhan Pengcheng tidy up the quilt.

Zhan Pengcheng saw that Zhan Weiyang looked a little nervous, so he said to him, “Your gege is going to cry in anger.”

“I didn’t!” Zhan Weiguang said with red eyes.

Zhan Pengcheng said again, “Okay, okay. Dad will drink less in the future and not make my good son angry.”

Zhan Weiguang frowned, “Don’t talk to me like that, I’m not Zhan Weiyang.”

Since Zhan Weiguang came, Zhan Weiyang, who had been watching Zhan Pengcheng all night without sleeping, could go back to rest.

Zhan Pengcheng urged Pei Qing to take Zhan Weiyang back to rest.

Zhan Weiguang glanced at them and said, “Qing ge, you take Zhan Weiyang back, I’ll be here tonight.”

Pei Qing nodded and said, “Then we’ll go back first.”

Back home, Zhan Weiyang took a hot bath first. He felt fine before taking a bath, but after taking a bath, he couldn’t hold on. A strong drowsiness swept over him, and he almost fell asleep on the bed immediately.

His hair was still wet, Pei Qing sat on the edge of the bed, let him lie on his lap, and blow dry his hair.

Zhan Weiyang listened to the buzzing sound of the hair dryer and fell asleep halfway through the blow-drying process.

Later, Pei Qing felt that Zhan Weiyang’s hair was dry, put the hair dryer aside, gently helped him up, and held him on his back on the bed.

       Zhan Weiyang never woke up.

Pei Qing covered him with a quilt, then sat by the bed and looked at him quietly for a long time before getting up and leaving.

Zhan Weiyang slept from the afternoon to the next morning.

Pei Qing came to his room to see him around nine o’clock in the evening. He wanted to ask him if he was hungry or if he wanted to eat something, but when he saw that he had not woken up, he quietly left and closed the door.

The next morning, Zhan Weiyang woke up from the bed after sleeping enough.

He opened his eyes and didn’t know what time it was for a while. He only remembered that it was still bright when he fell asleep, and when he woke up, it was still bright.

He was the only one in the room.

Zhan Weiyang lifted the quilt and got out of bed. He raised his hand to scratch his messy hair and walked out of the room. He didn’t know where Pei Qing was, but subconsciously, he walked to the next room, stretched out his hand to turn the door, and looked inside.

The curtains in the room were closed and the light was dim. A person could be seen lying on the bed.

Zhan Weiyang walked over directly, took off his shoes, lifted Pei Qing’s quilt and crawled in.

Pei Qing was actually tired too. Zhan Weiyang hadn’t slept all night, so he hadn’t slept either. He bought a plane ticket late at night, rushed to the airport, and took the earliest flight back. Last night, he also fell asleep as soon as he lay down in the room when he came back. It wasn’t until now, until Zhan Weiyang snuggling into his blanket, that he finally woke up.

“Yangyang?” Pei Qing’s voice was slurred.

Zhan Weiyang crawled into his arms and reached out to hug him.

Pei Qing reluctantly opened his eyes and lowered his head. He kissed Zhan Weiyang’s forehead and said, “Awake?”

       Zhan Weiyang nodded.

Pei Qing asked him, “Have you slept enough?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “I think I have.”

Pei Qing smiled and said, “You think you have slept enough? Do you want to confirm it again?”

Zhan Weiyang asked, “How to confirm it?”

Pei Qing said to him, “Close your eyes and sleep for a while.”

Zhan Weiyang really closed his eyes, lay quietly for a while, then opened his eyes and said to Pei Qing with certainty, “I have slept enough.”

Pei Qing sat up and said to Zhan Weiyang, “Let’s go and make breakfast for you.”

Zhan Weiyang went to bed yesterday without even having dinner. He was very hungry now, so he followed Pei Qing to the kitchen.

Auntie Luo was away these days, and there was nothing much to eat in the kitchen. Pei Qing asked Zhan Weiyang if he wanted to eat fried egg noodles.

Zhan Weiyang came close to Pei Qing, nodded and said, “I want.”

While cooking noodles, Pei Qing asked Zhan Weiyang, “Were you scared that day?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “Yes, I was scared to death. I saw blood all over my father’s pillow, and I was so scared.”

Pei Qing asked him again, “What about going to the hospital afterwards?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “They asked me to pay the bill and said they would arrange for me to be hospitalised.”

Pei Qing put the cooked noodles into the bowl, put the fried egg on top, sprinkled chopped green onions, and asked, “Did you go alone?”

Zhan Weiyang nodded, “I was so scared, but I was more afraid that my father would die.”

“Your father will not die,” Pei Qing said.

At this point, Zhan Weiyang suddenly became sad again. His eyes were red, and he sniffed, “I don’t dare to think about it. I’m just very scared.”

Pei Qing put down her chopsticks, turned around to look at him, put his arms around his waist, and said, “No one is going to die. Your father will recover and be discharged soon.”

       Zhan Weiyang said, “Yeah.”

       Pei Qing kissed his lips.

After the two of them finished breakfast, Pei Qing drove Zhan Weiyang to the hospital. Zhan Weiguang also had breakfast in the hospital that morning. He helped Zhan Pengcheng go to the bathroom, came back and let Zhan Pengcheng lie down on the bed, then walked to the window and looked outside.

The patient in the next bed was going to be discharged today. He packed up his things early in the morning and was just waiting for the doctor to check the room and complete the discharge procedures. At this time, the bed was empty.

Zhan Weiguang didn’t sleep very well at night and stretched out by the window. Zhan Pengcheng’s mental state was getting better day by day. He was lying on the hospital bed, looking at Zhan Weiguang’s back, and suddenly asked, “Weiguang, why is Pei Qing so good to Yangyang?”

Zhan Weiguang didn’t expect to hear this question. He paused for a moment and didn’t know how to answer. He hesitated for a while and said, “Because Zhan Weiyang is cute.”

       Zhan Pengcheng didn’t say anything.

Zhan Weiguang couldn’t help but look back at him.

Zhan Pengcheng lay on his back in bed. In just two days, he looked like he had lost weight. He looked at the ceiling, his arms stretched out of the quilt, and the light blue blood vessels on them could be clearly seen. There was also an indwelling needle on the back of his right hand. He spoke with no strength in his voice, “I just think he’s being too nice. If Yangyang were a girl, I would probably worry about whether he had any thoughts about Yangyang.”

Zhan Weiguang asked, “Isn’t it good if he’s nice to him?”

Zhan Pengcheng said, “After all, he is not your aunt’s biological son. To put it bluntly, we have no blood relationship, not even distant relatives. When Yangyang was hospitalised before, he helped to keep watch. Now that I am hospitalised, he has come all the way here. I always feel that I owe him too many favours, which is not good.”

When Zhan Pengcheng said these words, an idea suddenly popped up in Zhan Weiguang’s head. He wanted to say: Why don’t you give him your son to repay the favour. Of course, he didn’t say this, and he was terrified by his own idea.

Chapter 53 – I was saved.

Chapter 53 – I was saved.

At the same time, Rong Tang let go of Zhao Qi’s hand, and Zhao Qi gasped for breath, his voice hoarse as he said, “Rong Tang, have you gone mad?”

Rong Tang’s eyes were heavy, his expression no longer the calm indifference it used to be. With a wicked and frivolous tone, he said, “I told you, you made me this way.”

Zhao Qi felt like cursing his luck. It wasn’t him who had taken Rong Tang into the palace, nor was it him who had brought shame upon the Rong family, and it certainly wasn’t him who had ruined Rong Tang’s future. He believed he had been doing his best to make amends, and the dragon egg in his belly wasn’t something he had willingly carried. So why was he still being wronged and blamed for everything?

Rong Tang bent down, seemingly to kiss him, but he turned his face away, lips pressed tightly together.

Rong Tang whispered, “Your Majesty, open your mouth.”

Zhao Qi kept his mouth shut even tighter.

A hint of annoyance appeared in Rong Tang’s eyes as he suddenly grabbed Zhao Qi’s chin, forcing him to turn his face around. “If it were him, you’d obey without question, wouldn’t you?”

Zhao Qi didn’t know who Rong Tang was referring to as “him,” but he wasn’t in the mood to think about it. His guards should have been taken down by Rong Tang’s sleeping drug by now, and the only thing he could do was stall for time. Xiao Shiqing would definitely come looking for him if he didn’t return soon. Although he hadn’t left a specific address, he had mentioned he was going to see Rong Tang, so with Xiao Shiqing’s capabilities, he would surely find him.

Rong Tang saw through Zhao Qi’s distraction and squinted slightly. “Thinking about him? You’re in my bed, and you still dare to think about another man?”

Zhao Qi pulled his thoughts back and glared at Rong Tang, remaining silent.

Rong Tang stared into Zhao Qi’s eyes with an appreciative look and slowly smiled. For the first time, he saw something other than guilt in Zhao Qi’s eyes.

“Zhao Qi, do you hate me?”

“
 What do you think?!”

“Hate me if you must. I hated you once too,” Rong Tang lay beside Zhao Qi, propping up his head with one hand while continuing to undo Zhao Qi’s clothes with the other. “But I never imagined back then that the distance between love and hate could be so short, so short that it could go from one end to the other in the blink of an eye.”

Zhao Qi could see it clearly now; Rong Tang had truly changed, had turned dark. He used to be terse with words, rarely speaking more than twenty words at a time, but now he could string together several sentences in one breath. But while he spoke, could he at least stop undressing him?

Seeing that Rong Tang had already removed his outer garment, Zhao Qi couldn’t take it anymore and said loudly, “If you want to sleep, just do it. Why all this nonsense?!”

Rong Tang chuckled lightly, “This is what the Emperor said.”

Zhao Qi tugged at the corner of his mouth, “I’m not some virtuous woman. I have three thousand concubines. I’ve slept with so many people before, but only you were left untouched. Today, I suppose it counts as an achievement.”

Rong Tang’s fingertips paused slightly, his tone cold as ice, “If that’s the case, I no longer need to show pity.”

“That’s right, come on. Don’t pity me just because I’m a delicate flower!”

“Shut up
” Rong Tang lowered his eyes and coughed lightly, “Ahem.”

Zhao Qi pressed on, “But let me tell you, if you really sleep with me, I’ll have paid off my debt to you. I won’t protect you anymore, nor will I protect the Rong family!”

Rong Tang gave a strange smile, “In the future, do you think there will be a future for you?”

Zhao Qi’s heart skipped a beat, “What do you mean?”

Rong Tang leaned in close to Zhao Qi’s ear and said, word by word:

“Since you can have children, why don’t you give me one too?”

What the hell? Is he serious?

“Rong Tang,” Zhao Qi struggled to sit up, “Even though I forced you into the palace, as long as you don’t want it, I have never forced you! Why, now that the situation has reversed, can’t you let me go? You’ve read so many books, don’t you know what ‘do not impose on others what you do not desire’ means?”

“I don’t know.”

Zhao Qi was on the verge of breaking down, “Even if you get my body, you won’t get my heart!”

“The Emperor once said, if he can’t have the heart, the body will do.”

That was just a pretense; how could he take it seriously?

“Rong Tang, I beg you,” Zhao Qi’s voice began to break with tears, “I don’t like this. You must be acting out of impulse, making such irrational decisions. Let me go, and let yourself go too.”

Rong Tang murmured, “Let go of myself
How can I let go of myself when you’re the one who provoked me first? What right do you have to say no!” Rong Tang grew increasingly agitated, his thin chest heaving heavily, “Emotions are clearly a two-person affair. Why should I cherish them, while you dismiss them so easily? Tell me, why?”

Zhao Qi couldn’t take it anymore, “I didn’t provoke you! I’ve never liked you!”

Rong Tang’s eyes narrowed, “What
 did you say?”

“I owe you nothing. My kindness, my attempts to make amends are because I’m a saint
No, a holy father. But actually, I didn’t need to do any of that.” Zhao Qi took a deep breath, “Rong Tang, you’ve hated the wrong person and loved the wrong person. If there hadn’t been so many entanglements from the past, someone as proud as you might not have even looked at me. It’s not too late to stop now. I guarantee you won’t die, the Rong family won’t die, and you can go back to who you were before—before entering the palace.”

Rong Tang obstinately said, “But I want you.”

So all his words were in vain?

“Even if you love someone else, I still want you.”

Zhao Qi grasped at straws, “Love someone else? Who do I love? I haven’t loved anyone.”

“Not? Then what about the child in your womb
”

Zhao Qi hurriedly defended himself, “That’s a mistake. I was drugged by someone, and that’s how this child came to be.”

Rong Tang looked down at him, “It was me.”

“What?”

“The person who drugged you with Changxiangsi,” Rong Tang said slowly, “was me.”

Zhao Qi stared at him in disbelief, “Impossible!”

“When Zhao Qiao gave me the Chang Xiangsi, I only used half.”

Zhao Qi lost his voice, “Why
”

“Why,” Rong Tang sneered, “Because I wanted to know who you would see after using Chang Xiangsi. At that time, you called my name. I thought it was mutual, but I didn’t expect
” Rong Tang paused, the madness in his eyes gradually fading, and the shadow of his former cold and aloof self seemed to return. “Xiao Shiqing said I wouldn’t dare to do anything to you. He was wrong—I dare.”

“But, I can’t bear to.”

Zhao Qi’s eyes widened in horror, “Rong Tang
”

Rong Tang began to cough violently, blood appearing in his mouth, “Go away. Leave my family alone, and we’ll be even.”

What kind of crazy twist is this? Did Rong Tang never plan to do anything to him from the start? What was all this for?

As soon as he finished speaking, the door was kicked open with a bang. The dark guards of the Tianji Camp burst in, with Fu Zi leading the charge. Before Zhao Qi could react, a long sword was pressed against Rong Tang’s neck, “Prime Minister, the Emperor is here.”

Xiao Shiqing walked in. His face looked more sullen than Zhao Qi had ever seen. When he saw Zhao Qi disheveled, his anger flared, and his gaze was as cold as hell.

Rong Tang seemed to have anticipated this moment. Facing the sword at his neck, he slowly closed his eyes.

Zhao Qi didn’t know where he found the strength, but he raised his hand to Xiao Shiqing and cried, “Brother Prime Minister
 Wuwu
”

Hearing the word “brother,” Rong Tang’s face turned pale, his heart aching as if it were being sliced. It was even more painful than having a sword pointed at him.

Xiao Shiqing quickly walked to the bed, took Zhao Qi’s hand, and embraced him, “It’s alright now.”

Sensing the familiar scent of ink from Xiao Shiqing, Zhao Qi’s eyes grew warm, and he murmured, “Why did you come so late
”

Xiao Shiqing extended his other hand, covering Zhao Qi’s eyes, and said in a deep voice, “It’s my fault for being late.”

“Prime Minister,” Fu Zi asked, “How should we deal with Rong Tang?”

Xiao Shiqing looked at Rong Tang coldly and spat out two words, “Kill him.”

Zhao Qi’s heart jolted, “Brother?”

Xiao Shiqing gritted his teeth, “At this point, are you still pleading for him?”

Zhao Qi didn’t know how to answer. Rong Tang had indeed done things he could not tolerate or forgive, but to kill him outright seemed too

Rong Tang opened his eyes, already resigned to his fate, “Do it.”

Zhao Qi panicked, “Hey—”

Rong Tang locked eyes with Zhao Qi and smiled, “If I die, you’ll never forget me for the rest of your life. Isn’t that satisfying?”

Xiao Shiqing sneered coldly, “So, should I spare your life then? However, imprisoning the emperor is a death sentence. Since you cannot die, let the Rong family take your place. How does that sound?”

Rong Tang replied indifferently, “The Prime Minister is welcome to do as he pleases.”

Zhao Qi: “!!!”

Xiao Shiqing’s voice turned icy, “Very well—bring them here.”

“Brother,” Zhao Qi clung to Xiao Shiqing, weakly pleading, “Please don’t kill the innocent.”

“Innocent?” Xiao Shiqing scoffed, “Are they innocent?”

Zhao Qi shook his head and asked, “What time is it now?”

Xiao Shiqing paused for a moment, “The hour of Hai 1Around 9-11PM in ancient china lingo.”

Zhao Qi said, “Rong Tang has already kept me imprisoned for two hours. If he truly intended to do something, he could have taken advantage of my unconsciousness, but he did not.”

“Even so, the Rong family must die.”

“But I promised him not to harm the Rong family,” Zhao Qi said feebly, “A monarch’s words are not to be taken lightly, Brother.”

Xiao Shiqing remained unmoved, “You promised him, but I did not. Fu Zi—”

Fu Zi replied, “This subordinate is here.”

“Wait,” Zhao Qi kept burrowing into Xiao Shiqing’s arms, speaking softly, “I beg you, Brother, don’t kill them. Consider it a blessing for the dragon egg
”

Xiao Shiqing frowned, “Dragon egg?”

Zhao Qi was exhausted, his eyelids heavy. He fought to stay awake and whispered, “Don’t kill them
otherwise, I will be angry with you. It’ll be hard to appease, and it will last a long time.”

Xiao Shiqing sighed quietly, “Don’t use that to threaten me, little fool.”

Zhao Qi smiled at Xiao Shiqing, “I have nothing else to threaten you with.” After speaking, he fell asleep in Xiao Shiqing’s arms.

Xiao Shiqing turned his gaze to Rong Tang, his eyes as sharp as blades, “What kind of medicine did you give him?”

Rong Tang replied calmly, “He will be fine.”

Xiao Shiqing took off his cloak and dr4p3d it over Zhao Qi, lifting him in his arms, “Return to the palace.”

Fu Zi asked, “Prime Minister, what about Rong Tang
”

“Keep him under house arrest here. Let him live.”

Chapter 26

Qian Xiaoke knew he had done something pretty stupid and had been feeling down about it for quite a while, but there wasn’t much he could do about it.

“Don’t talk about me anymore,” Qian Xiaoke muttered, “I’m already very upset.”

He curled his lips and squatted on the ground in frustration. He exuded an unmistakable air of melancholy.

Jiang Tongyan looked down and watched Qian Xiaoke squatting and fiddling with a discarded rose someone had left on the side of the road.

       “Isn’t it dirty?”

“Huh?” Qian Xiaoke looked up at him.

Jiang Tongyan looked down at him, “Maybe the flower has been stuck with poop.”

       “
Jiang Tongyan, are you disgusting!” Qian Xiaoke suddenly felt that he was dirty.

“I’m kindly reminding you not to touch anything.” Why is he like a child, so careless?

Jiang Tongyan said, “By the way, isn’t the place you’re living in currently illegal? If you keep staying there, wouldn’t that make you a lawbreaker?”

“Shh!” Qian Xiaoke quickly stood up and covered his mouth, “Can you stop saying stuff like that?”

He was nearly scared to death!

Jiang Tongyan frowned, “Take your stinky hands away!”

He couldn’t believe Qian Xiaoke had touched that dirty flower and then used the same hand to touch his mouth! Even someone without a germaphobe would lose their mind over this.

Qian Xiaoke reluctantly took his hand away, “Don’t yell, I’m scared.”

“Why can’t I see that you’re scared?” Jiang Tongyan said, “If you’re so scared, why are you still living there? You’ve got some nerve.”

“What else can I do? I’ve already paid the rent, the agent ran off, and we can’t find the landlord. What choice do I have?”

Jiang Tongyan, who had lived a comfortable life, couldn’t quite comprehend Qian Xiaoke’s situation. He then said something that made Qian Xiaoke want to punch this rich guy in the head.

Jiang Tongyan said, “It’s just a bit of rent. What’s more important, money or safety? Don’t you have any sense?”

       “
” Qian Xiaoke was visibly displeased.

Normally, Qian Xiaoke was a good-tempered, warm, and easygoing person who never argued with others. But Jiang Tongyan’s comment struck a nerve.

“Jiang Tongyan, you are really not a good person.” Qian Xiaoke turned around and walked away. His back screaming: very angry, do not disturb.

While Qian Xiaoke fumed, Jiang Tongyan remained clueless.

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong with what I say?” Jiang Tongyan followed, “What’s with your temper? You get angry when you disagree with me!”

“My temper? Did you even listen to what you said? Is that a human language?” Qian Xiaoke’s face was full of unhappiness, and he looked back at Jiang Tongyan, “Do you know there is a saying called ‘Why not eat meat’?1This references an idiom from ancient Chinese history. It describes a tone-deaf remark from someone in privilege, similar to Marie Antoinette’s “Let them eat cake.” It conveys how disconnected a person is from the struggles of others. The question you just asked is practically the same thing.”

Jiang Tongyan certainly was clueless, “What does it mean?”

“Look it up yourself. I can’t be bothered to explain.” Qian Xiaoke shook his hand and walked away with a step that didn’t recognise his relatives.

Qian Xiaoke left, and Jiang Tongyan followed closely behind him. While following him, he looked up the meaning of the sentence behind him.

After checking, he began to reflect on himself and asked, “How much do you earn a month?”

“After deducting the five social insurances and one housing fund, the actual salary is barely 3,000 yuan.”

“How much is the monthly rent for your house?”

“1,500 yuan.” Qian Xiaoke turned around, “Do you understand now?”

       “
I understand.” Jiang Tongyan was a little annoyed, thinking that what he had just said was simply stupid. “I’m sorry.”

       Qian Xiaoke was stunned.

“Huh?” A few seconds later, his face was full of question marks, “What did you say just now?”

Jiang Tongyan wasn’t the type to apologise easily. It wasn’t about pride—he simply rarely made mistakes. His earlier blunder was so elementary and was the first time in his life. It became a stumbling block even in his own mind.

       “Did you eat dinner tonight?”

Qian Xiaoke hugged his bread tightly.

“I’ll treat you to dinner.” Jiang Tongyan said, “Malatang, the kind that costs 36 yuan a bowl.”

As the saying goes, “No reward without effort.”

Qian Xiaoke remained cautious, suspecting Jiang Tongyan might want to poison him.

“Why would you treat me to a meal for no reason?” Qian Xiaoke asked. “Didn’t I already say today’s session was a trial and totally free?”

Jiang Tongyan frowned, “What are you thinking? I’m
 apologizing to you.”

“Ah?” What? Qian Xiaoke didn’t understand him.

“Didn’t I make you unhappy just now?” Jiang Tongyan said, “I’m treating you to a meal. I haven’t eaten yet, either.”

After processing for a moment, Qian Xiaoke suddenly grinned. “For real?”

“If you don’t want to eat, forget it.” Jiang Tongyan thought to himself that it was lucky it was dark; otherwise, this brat would have noticed his face turning red—how embarrassing!

“Eat, eat, eat!” This time it didn’t feel undeserved—Jiang Tongyan was expressing a sincere apology. If he didn’t accept, wouldn’t that mean he wasn’t willing to forgive him?

Qian Xiaoke gave himself a sufficient reason.

Jiang Tongyan sneered, “You shameless foodie!”

Qian Xiaoke didn’t hear what he said and happily led him out of the neighbourhood.

He was happy, and Jiang Tongyan was inexplicably happy too.

Jiang Tongyan found that Qian Xiaoke seemed to have magic that could influence other people’s emotions.

       It was pretty awesome.

       How did he do it?

Jiang Tongyan also wanted to learn.

The two of them walked out of the neighbourhood, and Qian Xiaoke said, “We’ve already eaten spicy hot pot today. It’s not good to eat it again, right?”

Jiang Tongyan glanced at him sideways, thinking: I said I want to eat spicy hot pot because you like it. What’s wrong with you?

But since he had already upset Qian Xiaoke earlier, Jiang Tongyan, not being the kind of person who intentionally stirs up trouble, spoke cautiously as he was trying to make amends. “So, what do you want to eat?”

Qian Xiaoke looked around and then pointed to the barbecue stall on the side of the road.

       Jiang Tongyan frowned.

       “This
” He looked at the roadside stalls and was indeed somewhat sceptical about the sanitary conditions. Still, he had already upset Qian Xiaoke, so Jiang Tongyan spoke very cautiously, “Why this all of a sudden? Or
I noticed a pretty decent restaurant on the way here. How about we go there?”

Qian Xiaoke didn’t want to; he just wanted to eat barbecue.

When he passed by earlier to buy bread, he had already drooled over the place. He had resisted buying it then, but now that someone was treating him, he intended to eat it to his heart’s content.

Qian Xiaoke twisted his little face and said, “I’m not going. I just want to eat this barbecue.”

Those big meat skewers, just looking at it, made him feel good.

He pulled Jiang Tongyan’s sleeve, “Chairman Jiang, let’s just eat this.”

Qian Xiaoke also added, “The average cost per person won’t even exceed 50 yuan, I swear. I’ll control myself!”

It wasn’t about the money, but that comment made Jiang Tongyan feel a little uncomfortable.

He had never known Qian Xiaoke well before, so he thought that this guy was mentally abnormal and very troublesome. However, on the other hand, he had to admit that Qian Xiaoke was not a bad person. After all
he was willing to take responsibility for him.

After what happened just now, Jiang Tongyan was suddenly moved by the poor guy’s hard work. It was not easy for him to live so lively with so little income.

       Fine. Let’s eat.

I’ll sacrifice my life for you.

       Jiang Tongyan said, “Let’s go.”

With that, he followed the cheering Qian Xiaoke to the slightly grimy barbecue stall, “Don’t hold back. Eat all you want. If you want, we could even rent out the whole stall.”

Qian Xiaoke just laughed and didn’t think deeply about it.

He thanked him repeatedly, then trotted to the barbecue stall. He then found an empty seat, sat down, and wiped the stool opposite obediently.

“Chairman Jiang, sit down!” Qian Xiaoke was in a good mood when there was something delicious, and now he liked Jiang Tongyan.

Jiang Tongyan was a little disgusted, and the smoke from the barbecue next to him drifted over, choking him and rolling his eyes.

“Why do you have to go to this place when you don’t want to go to a good restaurant?”

“It’s delicious,” Qian Xiaoke said, “You don’t understand, this kind of roadside stall has the best taste!”

Jiang Tongyan thought: Well, I don’t understand, and I don’t want to understand.

“And barbecue is something that you have to eat for the atmosphere.” Qian Xiaoke suddenly raised his hand and shouted to the boss, “Boss, order!”

The boss came over with a plastic menu. Qian Xiaoke ordered a lot and handed it to Jiang Tongyan after ordering, “Chairman Jiang, do you want to add more?”

“No, you can take care of it.”

Qian Xiaoke laughed and decided to order these first and add more if it was not enough.

“Chairman Jiang, do you know what you must have with barbecue?”

“What?” Jiang Tongyan had hardly eaten it. With his status and position, he would go to high-end restaurants with an average cost of several thousand yuan per person!

“Garlic!” Qian Xiaoke mysteriously grabbed a head of garlic from the table next to him and put it on the table for the two of them, “Also, ice-cold draft beer!”

He stretched out his hand, “Chairman Jiang, give me 20 yuan.”

       “Huh?”

“I’ll buy draft beer,” Qian Xiaoke said, “10 yuan a cup, it’s delicious!”

Jiang Tongyan wanted to complain that he was stingy and didn’t even want to pay 20 yuan.

But since he was treating, he had to pay.

He gave Qian Xiaoke a hundred yuan and then watched the boy run away like a rabbit.

When Qian Xiaoke returned, he was holding a large glass of draft beer in one hand, and the change was still in his palm.

He put the draft beer on the table and returned the rest of the money to Jiang Tongyan.

“Can this thing taste good?” Jiang Tongyan has drunk a lot of beer, but this is too cheap. 10 yuan for such a big cup, won’t it upset your stomach after drinking it?

“It tastes good,” Qian Xiaoke said, “Try it.”

In the autumn, the breeze was already quite cold at night. After a sip of iced draft beer, Jiang Tongyan got goosebumps.

       But!

       It tastes really good!

Jiang Tongyan was very surprised, “Not bad.”

“See! I told you, you rich people are ignorant!” Qian Xiaoke said, “In fact, not all expensive things are necessarily good, and not all cheap things are necessarily bad.”

Jiang Tongyan actually thought that what Qian Xiaoke said at this moment carried a certain wisdom.

“The quality of things in this world can’t always be measured by money,” Qian Xiaoke said with a faint smile, holding the large beer cup in both hands. He took a sip, leaving foam all over his mouth. “What suits you best is what’s truly good.”

Chapter 63 – Very Rough

Chapter 63: Very Rough

Su Muluo didn’t expect his dragon to run away just like that. He stood frozen in place for a moment before he finally came to his senses.

Meanwhile, the black dragon had already disappeared without a trace.

Su Muluo: “
”

He stayed there for a while, still unable to believe that his dragon would abandon him and flee. He intended to chase after it, but seeing the barrier collapsing below and the golden dragon falling into the forest, with the people from the Abnormal Affairs Bureau in a panic, he decided to explain the situation to them first.

“Mr. Su!”

At this moment, the demons had already been cleared out by the Abnormal Affairs Bureau. Fan Huai, who had seen the black dragon leave earlier, now saw the corpse of the golden dragon. Despite having been through many hardships, he couldn’t help but be astonished.

“You and Lord Longling—”

“The golden dragon is dead. It was killed by him,” Su Muluo said briefly, as he was still hoping to find his dragon. “But something happened to him, so we will be leaving for a while.”

Fan Huai paused for a moment after hearing this, then said, “What do you plan to do with the golden dragon’s corpse? The Abnormal Affairs Bureau can temporarily keep it for you.”

In reality, even the corpse of the golden dragon was a priceless treasure. For the Abnormal Affairs Bureau, it was a huge temptation—but Fan Huai was also clear that this golden dragon did not belong to them, and now, in front of them, was someone who could kill dragons.

Su Muluo had no desire to see Fu Sha again and said coldly, “You can handle it however you like. I don’t need the corpse.”

Fan Huai was taken aback and was about to exclaim, “It’s too valuable!” when a black dragon descended from the sky. With precise accuracy, it scooped Su Muluo up with its claws.

Fan Huai: “
”

Su Muluo: “
”

Su Muluo, who had just been thinking of finding his dragon, was surprised when it came back by itself.

However, the way it returned
 was rather unusual.

Su Muluo sat on the black dragon’s claw, which had just torn through the golden dragon’s toughest scales. Now, as it held him gently, there was an indescribable care and softness.

Yet, its eyes were still crimson red, and the dark flames on its body had not yet dissipated, making Su Muluo feel uneasy.

He asked, “Where are you taking me?”

The black dragon seemed not to hear him at all. It remained silent, only staring intently at him with its red dragon eyes, as if afraid that he might slip away.

Su Muluo stared back for a while and realized that communication was impossible. He sighed and stopped talking.

The black dragon transformed back to its original form with astonishing speed. Su Muluo had no idea how many kilometers they had traveled in just a few minutes. By the time he realized what was happening, the black dragon had brought him to a place—Suyuan.

The familiar small building came into view. Su Muluo was stunned. The black dragon, now possessed, should logically be in a completely chaotic state with no memory of the past. Yet, he didn’t expect his dragon to remember this place and bring him back.

The black dragon landed in front of the wooden building in Suyuan but did not revert to its original form. Instead, it looked around and then breathed out a stream of dragon breath at a rock wall.

The dragon breath created a narrow, inward-caving cave in the smooth rock wall, and then the black dragon grabbed Su Muluo and placed him inside the cave.

The cave floor was hard. Su Muluo didn’t want to stay there and was about to leave when the black dragon shrank in size and crawled into the cave, its tail blocking the entrance.

Its head rested in front of Su Muluo, its crimson eyes staring at him for a few seconds
 before it licked him.

Su Muluo: “
”

Su Muluo felt as though the dragon was licking a very tasty piece of meat, ready to swallow him whole at any moment.

So, without saying a word, he walked directly toward the cave entrance.

—But once again, he didn’t make it to the entrance. The beautiful phoenix was dragged back by his dragon, which coiled around him and pinned him to the deepest part of the cave.

When Su Muluo woke up again, he was dr4p3d in clothes, his sore and soft waist held tightly in a pair of strong arms. His back was pressed against a man’s chest, feeling the warmth from the other person.

He moved slightly, and Dragon Ling immediately tightened his embrace, possessive and domineering, like a ferocious dragon guarding its treasure.

Though Dragon Ling held him tightly, Su Muluo still made an effort to shift his position slowly, turning to face Dragon Ling.

—After the chaos, Dragon Ling’s eyes were still crimson red, with no trace of the dark gold color.

Su Muluo’s heart sank, knowing that if things continued this way, not only would his dragon dominate him, but it would also begin to destroy everything around them—from Suyuan to the human world.

The reason his dragon had become so severely demonized was likely due to something done by the Heavenly Law through Fu Sha during their battle.

Thinking of this, Su Muluo clutched the edge of Dragon Ling’s clothes, realizing he could no longer wait.

In the memories he had regained, he already knew how to unlock the seal on his body.

—When his dragon truly faced danger, and when he truly decided to sacrifice himself to protect his dragon, the seal on him would gradually lift.

Before the Golden Dragon used the power of the Heavenly Law to forcibly break his seal, he had dreamed about his past for two consecutive nights. During that time, the seal on him had already begun to loosen.

Now, most of his seals had been broken, leaving only the last one.

He knew how to break this final seal and was aware that once he did, he would learn all the truths
which also meant he would have to make some choices, including separating from his dragon.

Though he hadn’t yet obtained that memory, he had a vague premonition of such a result.

Long Ling’s crimson eyes remained fixed on Su Muluo, unblinking. After falling into demonic madness, he had grown fond of watching his Phoenix this way. Even without memories or thoughts, his subconscious knew this was his person, someone he had to hold onto tightly and never let go.

But Su Muluo did not meet his dragon’s gaze. Instead, he lowered his eyes and gently rested his forehead against his dragon’s.

He had clearly made up his mind and knew that this decision could save his dragon. Yet, when it came time to act, he hesitated.

He couldn’t bear it.

He couldn’t bear to part with his dragon, nor could he bear to leave the warmth and comfort of his dragon’s embrace.

He was even less willing to leave his dragon alone in the world to face days without him.

Without him
what would happen to his dragon?

Su Muluo buried his face deeply in Long Ling’s shoulder, inhaling the familiar scent of his dragon. For a moment, he felt a sudden urge to cry.

Long Ling sensed the wetness on his shoulder and frowned slightly. He didn’t understand what this feeling was, but seeing the person in his arms with his head down, trembling slightly, seemed to be in discomfort

At that moment, though he was not fully aware, he knew he needed to comfort this person, his precious one.

So Long Ling lowered his head, gently rubbing his chin through Su Muluo’s hair. He felt it wasn’t enough and leaned in to kiss the side of Su Muluo’s face.

This action made Su Muluo stiffen all over. He was elated, thinking Long Ling had returned to normal—only to lift his head and still see those cold crimson eyes.

“
”

All his joy was extinguished. After hope shattered, the thoughts of despair became even clearer.

Su Muluo stared intently at Long Ling, thinking that he had to take action.

If he waited any longer, his dragon might be devoured by the Heavenly Law. Their time
 was only in this moment.

Su Muluo gently lifted his hand, covering Long Ling’s crimson eyes, and leaned closer, like a returning fledgling, lovingly and affectionately kissing Long Ling’s lips.

Long Ling didn’t understand and didn’t return the kiss. Su Muluo closed his eyes, a tear glistening in the corner of his eye, but he quickly wiped it away.

“It’s okay,” he said in a hoarse, quiet voice. “Maybe I will come back
and we can be together again.”

“For you, I will definitely come back.”

As Su Muluo spoke these words, another thought arose in his heart—he would not leave his dragon behind, even if breaking the seal came at a great cost
he would not let those costs become a reality.

He would come back and be with his dragon. The Heavenly Law should not think of stopping him, and no one else should either.

At the moment this decision was made, Su Muluo seemed to gain boundless strength. All fear and anxiety vanished. He looked at his dragon, wiped away his tears once more, and smiled slightly.

“I won’t let you go.” He said softly but firmly. “No one will take you from my side.”

After saying this, Su Muluo raised his hand, revealing a snow-white bone dagger.

It was a dagger made from Long Ling’s spine, a gift for his Phoenix who was cherished deeply.

Su Muluo kept one hand over Long Ling’s eyes, his soft face lovingly rubbing against him
Meanwhile, his other hand tightly grasped the dagger and, with unwavering resolve, plunged the bone dagger into his chest.

— His last seal was within his heart.

Blood stained his clothes, and the crimson spread gradually. Long Ling detected the smell of blood in the air and suddenly became agitated, grabbing Su Muluo’s wrist—

But it was too late.

At the moment the bone dagger pierced his heart, Su Muluo didn’t feel much pain. Instead, a surge of power flooded his body, as if years of shackles had been removed. He felt weightless and incredibly relieved.

At the same time, his soul floated out of his body, guided by a gentle force to another world.

This place was completely closed off from the outside, a pure white space. Initially, Su Muluo was dazed, but when he regained clarity, he heard a coquettish female voice.

“You’re finally here~” The voice said sweetly. “I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

Su Muluo: “
”

Wait, doesn’t that voice seem a bit off?

In his restored memories, the voice that said “I want to seek your help” was calm and gentle, right?

The owner of that voice seemed to sense his confusion and responded, “Oh, I don’t have a fixed gender or form, and my voice can change freely. I thought you would like this type, but it seems not.”

Then, in the next moment, the sweet girl’s voice transformed into a rough, deep male voice, with full resonance, saying, “How’s this voice!”

“How’s it!”

“How’s it!”

“Voice!”

And it even had an echo.

Su Muluo: “
”

It didn’t seem too great.

Chapter 25 – Hahahahahahahaha–

Gu Lizhou was stunned for a few seconds before pounding the edge of the bed twice in a frenzy, letting out a crazed roar. He then unleashed another barrage of punches on the bed, his grin wicked and unrestrained. It was the kind of smile someone might have after being cheated on by his girlfriend, only to win the lottery jackpot and have their ex-girlfriend crawling back—a chaotic mix of emotions erupting into uncontainable joy.

There was only one word for his feelings: Ecstatic!

To others, though, he looked completely insane.

Zhong Weishi immediately realized this wasn’t good—he’d overdone it and driven the guy to madness. What could be done now?

Hurriedly, he tried to console Gu Lizhou as he stammered, “B-b-but! But maybe he’s just some nasty man—yes, exactly, a foot-scratching big man. God is fair. No way he’d give someone both talent and looks
”

“Hahahahahahahahahaha-”1I went and counted it lmao. He erupted into maniacal laughter.

Seeing Gu Lizhou spiraling further into madness, Zhong Weishi felt his heart clench in fear. In desperation, he even threw away his pride and made himself the example. “Look at me for example. I’m handsome, young, full of life—but not exactly bright
”

Gu Lizhou threw his head back and laughed recklessly, far more unrestrained than on that day at the square dance.

He had a belly full of emotions he wanted to vent.

He wanted Zhong Weishi to know that the stubborn piece of scrap metal in his eyes was actually his long-cherished white moonlight. He wanted to see Zhong Weishi kneeling under his boxers with a face full of adoration. But rationality told him this wasn’t the time—something even more entertaining lay ahead.

It took quite a while before he managed to calm down. Gu Lizhou’s heart was racing, and he couldn’t stop the corners of his mouth from lifting. No matter how he looked at the little bastard in front of him, he found him utterly adorable.

He couldn’t even help but raise his hand and ruffle this silly ass’ head.

Zhong Weishi’s words had struck right at the core of his confidence.

There was only one Wan Lizhou in the world. So even if he disappeared for five years, fifteen, or fifty years, someone would still remember him.

He had to admit—the little thing had good taste.

“What are you doing ah?” Zhong Weishi’s hair was already thick, and now it exploded from all the ruffling.

Unexpectedly, Gu Lizhou tousled his hair even more aggressively and even flicked his nose, calling him a little bastard.

“Aiya-” Zhong Weishi batted Gu Lizhou’s arm away with a disgusted face. “What’s wrong with you? One minute you’re upset, the next you’re overjoyed. Split personality ah?”

“En.” Gu Lizhou was in the middle of his excitement, completely unable to hear what he was saying. He stared at Zhong Weishi like he was a priceless treasure. “Tell me more about that great god.”

When Zhong Weishi came to know about the author Wan Lizhou, it was already after he had ceased writing. He had only skimmed the author’s profile, followed his Weibo, and remained oblivious to the disputes between him and Jiu Mangxing, as well as the much-publicized incident involving the harassment of a female fan back in the day.

“He said until we meet again, but it’s been more than five years with no news at all. Guess he’s probably done writing for good,” Zhong Weishi sighed softly.

The excited and exuberant smile on Gu Lizhou’s face gradually faded.

“What a pity. I’ve read lots of books in that genre, but it’s rare to find an author whose every work resonates with you. His writing style is so unique, something many people can’t imitate. Those explorations of humanity, interests, fate, and emotions all carry faint traces of real life. The plots might be fantastical, yet they make people feel so authentic. Opening one of his books is like stepping into a flawlessly constructed illusion, and you hesitate to leave. Reading his work gives you strength, the kind that says even when life has you beaten down, you must never give up. I imagine the author must be just as dynamic and resilient as his protagonists—confident, optimistic, and broad-minded!”

Hearing these words warmed Gu Lizhou’s heart. He pursed his lips and humbly muttered, “He’s not as great as you’re making him out to be.”

“Shut up! You’re not allowed to insult my idol.” Zhong Weishi glared at him. “You didn’t even read it to know shit.”

“
” Gu Lizhou wanted to laugh but didn’t dare to.

“In short, I think he must be super carefree and charismatic,” Zhong Weishi exclaimed. “Let me show you his handwriting! They say handwriting reflects the person. I just know he’s as dashing as the way he writes.”

“But didn’t you just call him a foot-scratching big man?” Gu Lizhou teased.

“You believe that kind of lie?” Zhong Weishi clicked on Weibo and handed over one of Wan Lizhou’s rare handwritten notes. “Look at this!”

After five years, Gu Lizhou only felt that the words he left behind long ago were sour and embarrassingly sappy, like revisiting the melodramatic entries from his student days QQ Space account.

So much so that he wanted to delete his Weibo!!!

The die-hard fan even read the words aloud with deep emotion: “I believe in destiny, and I also believe that destiny is something you carve out for yourself step by step. Listen to that! Such profound yet incomprehensible wisdom—absolutely iconic!”

“What the hell.” Gu Lizhou smiled so hard his eyes curved into crescents. “So, if you ever get the chance to meet him in person, what would you say to him?”

“Meet him in person ah
”

Regardless of gender, people’s eyes always sparkled like a sea of tiny stars when they spoke about their idols.

Zhong Weishi rested his chin on his hand, daydreaming like a lovestruck teenager. “I’m sure I’d shake his hand to get some good luck ah! Then, I’d ask for an autograph!”

Gu Li Zhou raised an eyebrow, “That’s it?”

Zhong Weishi’s eyes rolled. “Well, if it’s just the two of us, I might ask for a hug, too. So we can get more luck.”

“
” So, this guy’s been plotting all day to leech off his good luck?

Is this how humans behave?

Gu Lizhou struck a pose like a drunk imperial concubine, staring at him. “Don’t you have anything you actually want to say to him?”

Zhong Weishi hugged a pillow, giggling foolishly. “Wan Lizhou-ge, I’m your fan. Can I add you on WeChat ah
”

Gu Li Zhou: “How about a swimming fitness to understand?

“Ugh!” Zhong Weishi rolled his eyes.

“Look at you with your low ambitions,” Gu Lizhou smiled. Then he asked, “Okay, let’s say you add him. What then?”

“Go through his Moments ah! See what the god is up to on a daily basis, maybe even sell some of his insider news for a quick buck.” Zhong Weishi slapped his thigh. “Wait, let me redo my answer ah. One autograph isn’t enough—I’ll demand a thousand! No, no, no, ten thousand!”

Gu Li Zhou: “
” This is not a fan, but a vampire.

Zhong Weishi casually scrolled through the latest comments under Wan Lizhou’s Weibo. Almost all were begging for his return to writing.

“If he makes a comeback, the entire Xinghe Century would be shaken to its core.”

Gu Li Zhou craned his neck full of pride.

That’s how you talk!

Worthy of being his fan!

“Aren’t you going to ask him why he stopped writing?”

“Why else ah,” Zhong Weishi shrugged, ”he’s too old to write.”

Gu Li Zhou’s throat tightened.

His emotions felt just like the plot twists in his novels—full of bizarre ups and downs.

Up, down, up, down, and then plummeting straight down

He clutched the bedsheet and blanket beneath him tightly, gritting his teeth, barely suppressing the urge to punt Zhong Weishi from the 3rd floor all the way to the 18th underground level.

“Ah, ah, ah. It’s over, it’s over, it’s over. It’s all your fault.” Zhong Weishi slapped the mattress several times in a row, ”I’m going to miss the live broadcast.”

Gu Lizhou froze, “What live broadcast?”

“Da Fei’s live broadcast ah! I’ve gotta hop on and give him some clout!” Zhong Weishi said, clicking into an app.

Gu Li Zhou raised his hand and looked at his watch.

A quarter past twelve.

A look of contempt, “At this hour, is it a proper live broadcast?”

–

“Thank you, ‘A Single Red Apricot Leans Over The Wall,’ for the Rainbow Candy gift
ah, and thanks to ‘This Is Not a Ride To The Grove’’ for the Lucky Bell gift.”

Da Fei’s “sweet” voice came out from the phone.

Gu Li Zhou’s handsome features became distorted due to the impactful image and explicit barrage on the screen.

The screen showed a “little girl” with meticulously applied makeup, sporting air bangs, twin pigtails, and a blue-and-white sailor outfit adorned with a delicate bow at the center of the top.

Perched on their head was a pair of fluffy pink-and-white bunny ears. Judging from the background, the live broadcast was taking place in a bedroom filled with stuffed animals, complete with lace-trimmed bed covers.

In short, the scene embodied two words: dreamy and provocative.

Big Fei, after hearing about Er’Gou dropping 300,000 yuan on a streamer, was struck by inspiration. Particularly memorable was the police officer’s statement: “Little girl, did they bully you just now? If they did, you can tell us.” He was greatly inspired.

He felt that this aspect of the male market could be properly developed to make a little money.

So in the dead of night, he did a live broadcast.

“It’s a proper livestream. Absolutely decent. He never takes his clothes off during the stream,” Zhong Weishi assured while typing in a comment.

Gu Lizhou: “
”

Upstairs, the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow, buffering every two seconds and freezing for a full minute. The comment wouldn’t even send.

Zhong Weishi elbowed the person next to him. “Got any mobile data? Share it with me; the upstairs internet’s too slow.”

Gu Lizhou’s eyes widened. “What do you take me for ah?”

“Mobile hotspot.” Zhong Weishi didn’t think twice.

“
” Gu Lizhou didn’t hold back, either. “No way. Why don’t you use your own data?”

Zhong Weishi, the poster child of modern-day poverty, had less than 10 yuan in phone credit. Even in the era of 4G, he worries about running out of data every month.

“If I use any more, I’ll go over my limit! Just lend me enough for 50 cents’ worth of data. There’s ice cream in the fridge; I’ll let you have it. Go grab it yourself,” Zhong Weishi said.

“I don’t eat sweet stuff this late at night,” Gu Lizhou said.

“Then save it for tomorrow,” Zhong Weishi said while grabbing Gu Lizhou’s thumb and forcibly using it to unlock his phone with fingerprint recognition. “We’re brothers—no need to stand on ceremony. Just remember to check the production date. Some batches are from the year before last.”

“
”

Gu Lizhou suddenly felt that it was a fvcking miracle this little punk was still alive—a miracle more astounding than his own rise to the rich list back in the day.

After connecting to the hotspot, the livestream still lagged, making it clear that the real problem was Zhong Weishi’s phone.

Gu Lizhou wrinkled his eyebrows. “Your crappy phone should’ve been replaced with a stainless steel basin.”

Zhong Weishi: “
”

At this point, the number of people in the live broadcast room was already approaching four digits.

It was an absolutely baffling phenomenon for an old person like Gu Lizhou, who had long retired from the modern world.

It was true what they said—the forest is vast, and it harbors all kinds of birds.

Zhong Weishi’s username looked like someone had smashed a keyboard to create it.

[fapgnapg]: Baby Fei, love you muah muah! Jiayou oh! This outfit today is the third color between snow and moonlight, the absolute color!

Gu Lizhou gagged audibly.

Pop-up: “fapgnapg” gifted a chocolate ball.

Gu Lizhou swept him a glance, “A single yuan, is this what you call showing support?”

Zhong Weishi : “You know nothing! A yuan isn’t money to you ah! Do you have any idea what that one yuan means to me!”

Gu Li Zhou was full of contempt: “What?”

Zhong Weishi exclaimed dramatically, “It means tomorrow’s pancake will be missing the spicy strips! You can’t just look at what I give; you need to consider what I have! Someone like you, born with a silver spoon in your mouth, could never understand the pain of us poor folk! Do you have any idea what it feels like not to eat spicy strips
”

Gu Lizhou casually sent him a WeChat red packet. “A year’s supply of spicy strips.”

“Thank you, boss!” Zhong Weishi immediately kowtowed to him.

Meanwhile, Da Fei grinned at the camera. “Thank you to that viewer with the ‘f’ name for gifting a chocolate ball.”

Gu Lizhou was puzzled. “Why does he have to read out what everyone gives?”

“Hm
” Zhong Weishi paused thoughtfully. “It’s probably like a little ritual to show appreciation. When you hear your name mentioned, you feel kind of proud.”

Gu Lizhou: “Sounds like a beggar.”

“Can you shut up.” Zhong Weishi snapped, rolling his eyes dramatically.

Gu Lizhou stiffened, pointing at Da Fei on the screen with a mix of shock and awkwardness. “H-he, he can hear us talking right now?”

Zhong Weishi: “
” He felt that Gu Lizhou was lying about his age being 32 years old. This guy’s clearly living in his grandparents’ era, right?

Chapter 29

The man’s kisses fell on his neck, collarbone, and Adam’s apple. It was dense and lingering, leaving reddish marks on his fair skin. The itchy feeling made him want to avoid it, but he couldn’t help but want more.

The man’s hand touched his cheeks, side of the neck, and skin, lingering on the chest, kneading the already erect nipples, making them fuller and more beautiful. The man’s other hand reached under him, caressing his flat belly inch by inch, and grasped his c0ck that was raised high. Rubbing the sensitive hole at the front, the man’s nails scr4p3d the edge of the umbrella-shaped part repeatedly, rubbing lightly and hard at times, constantly teasing his desire.

Lust grew from the depths of the bone marrow, oozing out bit by bit, forming a silent trickle, meandering through every strand of blood. Eventually, it gathered into an unstoppable torrent, crashing and raging inside the body, surging back and forth as if it was going to smash this body into pieces.

The pleasure was like electricity, causing waves of shivers. The body had no strength and was trapped limply in the man’s arms. Every inch of his skin seemed to be on fire as if it was going to burn him up. His half-closed eyes became wet and watery, his vision became disorientated, and the world lost its outline. Even though he blocked his mouth with the back of his hand, he still couldn’t restrain his moans of shame. Mixed with the slow and rapid breathing, it became an even more terrifying accelerant, burning the desire even more intensely.

The strings of reason were burned out, and the body succumbed to its original desires, forgetting the initial resistance, the entangled past, and each other’s identities.

       “Hmmn
 Hurry up
”

He couldn’t help but want to ask for more.

       “A little heavier
 There
 Ahn
”

He didn’t want to worry about anything anymore; he just wanted to destroy this body completely.

       “Please
please
let me cum
”

Unable to think anymore, he could only unconsciously say the pleading words according to the other party’s request.

When desire was surging at its peak but unable to be vented, the man’s low, slightly hoarse voice echoed in his ears.

—Be good and call me Master.

—This is just a game—a game between you and me. Acknowledge this relationship, and you can have more fun. You want more, right?

—Let’s try it once, okay? It’s just a title.

—If you do it, you will be rewarded. You want to climax don’t you?

Each whisper, soft and resonant like a chant, lured and bewitched the trapped prey, enticing it to lose itself entirely in the snare.

The monster of desire dragged him hard towards the cave of the abyss. Chu Yunhan raised his face; the water in the corner of his eyes was stained with lust. His lips moved, and he finally gave up completely and softly spit out the word.

       “
Master.”

“Very good.” The man kissed her forehead and said softly, “Slave, I allow you to cum.”

That sentence, like a dust-covered secret spell, unlocked the magic sealed in the body, and surging desire burst out.

At that moment, his mind went blank, and his body lost all feeling during the climax as if it had entered another space and turned into scattered and tiny atoms.

It took a few seconds for the brain to start functioning again.

The room was empty, and Chu Yunhan was lying on the bed motionless tiredly. There was a warm and sticky feeling on his hands. The disgust after the orga-m came back again, mixed with a deep feeling of powerlessness and loneliness.

It had been two weeks since Chu Yichen used his hand to make him cum. Afterwards, he vowed not to go to the East Coast or contact the other party in the future. But the ever-increasing feeling of emptiness was about to make his determination begin to waver.

       How ridiculous.

On such a colourful night suitable for hunting for women, he could only shut himself in the room and masturbate when his passion surged. And when he masturbated, he couldn’t help but think back to what Chu Yichen did to him that day.

Every expression, every word, every kiss and touch.

If there was only a physical and forced nostalgia for that man, why does the brain keep recalling these details?

Is it the body or the mind that is addicted?

Chu Yunhan picked up the pillow at hand and smashed it against the chandelier on the roof.

       “Son of a bitch
”

In the rightmost room on the fourth floor of the East Coast. Chu Yunhan looked at the props in the cabinet with an awkward expression. His gaze fell on one of the huge purple-red di-dos. He picked it up and touched it. It was made of silicone and was not soft. If this thing were inserted into his body
he would feel terrified.

“Which one do you like?” the man sitting on the sofa looked at the black-and-white writing in his hand and asked.

       “It’s not
” His face became hot. He threw the things back and muttered, “Have you not finished reading yet?”

“I need to remember all of the items you ‘don’t accept,’ and that’s a lot.”

Chu Yunhan blushed and stopped talking. He picked up a whip and played with it as if nothing had happened. He agreed to enter into a relationship with Chu Yichen. In order to restrain the other party’s behaviour, he solemnly refilled the information form and asked the man to sign it.

After Chu Yichen read it, he signed his name and handed it to him, saying, “You can choose a safe word.”

       “Any type is okay?”

“Avoid common words, and it’s best not to use words like ‘stop’ or ‘no’ that express rejection.”

“Why?” As soon as he asked, he thought of the answer. He coughed in embarrassment, thought for a while and said, “Is it okay to use ‘Resign1it was supposed to be (投äș†, Touzi) or Throwing Stones/Resigning, but I opt for resign because it’s shorter and it had the closest meaning rather than throwing stones‘?”

It was a term in Go that meant to concede the game by placing down the pieces in resignation.

       “Okay.”

He confirmed again, “When I say ‘Resign’, you’ll stop whatever you’re doing?”

“Yes. When you feel uncomfortable, you can say the safe word to stop the game. Is there anything else you want to ask?”

       “There is none left.”

“Alright. I just signed off on all of your rights; now it’s time we discuss your obligations.” The man crossed his legs, watching him leisurely.

Chu Yunhan was stunned for a moment and cursed ‘old fox’ in his heart. Then he remembered that he was three months older than that man, and the corner of his mouth twitched. He reluctantly said, “Just tell me.”

“I need you to do three things. First, acknowledge your identity. During the session, I need you to acknowledge each other’s identities. I am the Dom; you are the Sub. I am the Master; you are the Slave. I am the dominant, and you are the one who submits. This is the basis of everything—if you can’t fully enter the role, it’ll be hard for you to find enjoyment in this.”

“I understand.” He replied in a whisper. Since the last time he said ‘Master’, the pressure in his heart had eased a bit. After mentally accepting this kind of game, the conflict between the position of master and slave was no longer so strong.

“Second, obey the rules. As a slave, you must obey all my orders in the game. If you fail to do so, you will be punished. The method of punishment is determined by me, and the degree is also determined by me.”

He remembered the whipping he had received before and felt his bones were sore, so he reluctantly said “Oh”.

“Third, stay dedicated.” Chu Yichen paused, “You don’t accept one-to-many relationships, so when there is a contractual relationship between us, I will not accept other subs. In the same way, as the master, I will not allow my slave to have an affair with anyone else. To be more clear, during our master-slave relationship, your body belongs only to me, and you are not allowed to have sexual relationships with anyone, including masturbation.”

Chu Yunhan pursed his lips uncomfortably, “I understand.”

“Okay.” The man raised his wrist to look at his watch, stood up, took off his dark blue suit, rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt, took a brown hard riding crop and stood in front of the sofa, saying, “Come here.”

The commanding tone signalled the beginning of the game.

There was a slight restlessness in his body. Chu Yunhan swallowed and walked slowly over.

“In this room, without my permission, you must remain naked.” Chu Yichen said slowly, “I’ll give you one minute to remove your clothes.”

Upon hearing this, he immediately started unbuttoning his coat. It reminded him of those times in the Chu family’s old house basement, something he’d grown accustomed to. Unfortunately, today, he’d worn a double-breasted Burberry trench coat with a belt tied in an elaborate knot by Lan Xin. Just getting it undone took a frustrating amount of time. The more anxious he became, the slower his hands moved. By the time he’d finished, he could already anticipate the punishment for taking too long and felt a preemptive sting. Hesitantly, he spoke up, “I
don’t know how to undo that
”

The man looked at him with raised eyebrows.

Chu Yunhan remembered that he was not allowed to speak, bit his lip and kept silent.

Chu Yichen tapped the whip in his hand and said, “I taught you how to talk to me. Do you need me to use it to help you recall it?”

He hesitated for a few seconds, then knelt down with a somewhat stiff movement. His voice was as light as a mosquito, “
Master.”

The whip hit him, and it hurt.

His face turned crimson. He lowered his head and barely amplified his voice, “
Master.” The whip was placed on his chin, raising his face. Chu Yunhan looked up at the person before him, his eyes trembling slightly.

With one standing and the other kneeling, the distance between them made the feeling of oppression increase sharply. When he re-entered the game with a purer mentality, he was no longer obsessed with his sense of ‘self’. A different feeling seemed to arise between the two. It was as if the world’s axis had shifted and shifted to the man in front of him. As a subordinate, he was completely under the other party’s control.

       “Continue.”

       “
Master.”

       “Call until I’m satisfied.”

       “Master
”

“Master!” His voice finally became clear, and he no longer hesitated.

“Very good.” The tip of the whip slid across his Adam’s apple and moved downwards to tease the bulge on his chest. Chu Yichen’s dark eyes reflected the red-gold haze outside the window, “Do you want a reward?”

Hearing this sentence, his body became increasingly restless. “I want to
” After he said it, he realised something was wrong and immediately added the title “Master.”

“Lie down on the sofa and stick your butt up.”

Chu Yunhan obeyed obediently. His fair skin was stained with a layer of reddish color due to shame and excitement.

When the lubricated fingers penetrated from the secret hole behind him, he couldn’t help but gasp nervously, and the tunnel instinctively contracted to repel the intruding uninvited guest.

“Relax.” He received a slap on the butt.

       “Hng
” He tried to slowly lower his waist and relax, shyly burying his head on the back of the sofa.

A rubber di-do soaked in lubricant was inserted when it expanded enough to accommodate three fingers. The other party didn’t even choose a thick and violent type but randomly selected a medium vibrating model. However, after the switch was turned on, he gained pleasure easily and quickly set off a climax.

Chu Yunhan gasped unbearably. His master had not yet given the order to ejaculate, so he could only hold back.

       He felt he was possessed.

He had tried doing it with other people—tried letting others insert the vibrator or inserting the vibrator himself, but it never felt so fast or so strong. It seemed that this body only became so sensitive and lost control so easily under Chu Yichen’s control.

       “Master, I’m begging you
 I can’t bear it anymore
” Under that man’s control, he could only beg for mercy.

“‘You’?” The whip struck the white and tender buttocks mercilessly, instantly staining them with a rouge.

       “Ahn— Please
 Master
 Hngh
” Chu Yunhan was in pain and hurriedly changed his words, with a cry in his voice.

“Tell me your identity.” Chu Yichen said solemnly.

       “
Slave, Hngh
 Ahng—” He was whipped.

“I want to hear the standard answer.”

“I’m your slave. Ah— It hurts
” He was whipped again.

       “Don’t you remember?”

       “
Master, hngh
I am your slave.” This time, he was finally right. He trembled and sobbed, “Please
 I can’t help it anymore
”

His hair was gently pulled back, and his chin was lifted. The man’s handsome face was magnified in front of his blurred by tears eyes. Before the man’s warm lips touched his, Chu Yunhan heard his soft and pleasant voice.

       “Slave, you can cum.”

The world had fallen into a vivid, kaleidoscopic dream.

Chapter 81

       Zhan Weiyang was terrified.

He first stared blankly and frozen in place for a few seconds. Then, when he saw Zhan Pengcheng vomiting blood, he rushed to the bed, slapped Zhan Pengcheng’s face with his hand, and shouted loudly, “Dad! Dad!” He wanted to wake Zhan Pengcheng up.

Zhan Pengcheng groaned as if in pain.

Zhan Weiyang was trembling with fear. He tried to cover Zhan Pengcheng’s mouth with his hand, but his palm soon became sticky and hot. When he retracted his hand, tears came out of his eyes.

He stood up, turned around in place, and took out his mobile phone from his pyjama pocket without caring about the blood on his hands.

Zhan Weiyang called Pei Qing. While waiting for the call to be connected, he kept stamping his feet in place, unable to control the slight trembling of his body.

Fortunately, Pei Qing answered the phone. Her voice was unclear as if he had been woken up from a deep sleep, “Yangyang?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “My father vomited blood.”

Pei Qing’s voice suddenly became clear, “Are you two at home? Is Uncle sober?”

       Zhan Weiyang cried, “He’s drunk.”

Pei Qing immediately said, “Call 120, dear, hurry up.” He didn’t know the specific situation on Zhan Weiyang’s side, but when he heard Zhan Weiyang crying, he knew that Zhan Pengcheng’s condition must not be very good. If he asked in detail, it would probably take up too much time, so his first reaction was to ask Zhan Weiyang to call an ambulance.

After that, Pei Qing was worried that Zhan Weiyang would not be able to explain clearly, so he said, “I’ll call 120 for you too. I’ll hang up first and call you back later.”

Then Zhan Weiyang heard Pei Qing hang up the phone. He still remembered what Pei Qing said and dialled 120 with his mobile phone.

While waiting for the ambulance, Pei Qing called Zhan Weiyang again.

Pei Qing asked about Zhan Pengcheng’s condition and told Zhan Weiyang, “Don’t be afraid.”

Zhan Weiyang said, “I’m so scared.”

Pei Qing said, “Don’t be afraid. When the ambulance comes, you will go with it to the hospital, do you have money? Do you have any money? If the doctor asks you to pay, you pay, got it? I bought the earliest air ticket and will be back with you tomorrow morning.”

Zhan Weiyang seemed not to hear Pei Qing’s words. He kept squatting beside the bed and staring at Zhan Pengcheng with his eyes wide open. His breathing was about to stop for fear that Zhan Pengcheng would spit out blood from his mouth again.

He didn’t remember when he hung up the phone with Pei Qing. When the ambulance came, he stumbled and climbed into the car. He sat with the medical staff in fear and anxiety. He forgot to wear his coat and didn’t have time to change his shoes. Fortunately, when he was about to leave, the neighbourhood security guard who came in with the ambulance reminded him to lock the door.

The emergency hall of the hospital was still crowded with people late at night. Zhan Pengcheng was sent to the emergency room to stop the bleeding.

Zhan Weiyang followed behind at a loss and kept hearing a buzzing sound in his ears. The emergency doctor handed him a few receipts, asked him to pay the bills, and said that he would arrange hospitalization for Zhan Pengcheng.

The doctor saw Zhan Weiyang take the bills but didn’t say anything and couldn’t help asking, “Is the patient your father?”

       Zhan Weiyang nodded.

The doctor asked again, “What about your mother?”

Zhan Weiyang said, “I don’t know.”

The doctor was a little worried about him, but at this time, the nurse was urging him outside again, so the doctor had to leave in a hurry. Before leaving, he said to him, “You’d better ask your family to come over. Your father’s brothers and sisters will do.”

But Zhan Weiyang didn’t know who to call. Grandma and Auntie Luo were not there, and Pei Qing and Zhan Weiguang went back to school; he didn’t know his father’s friends, and his father’s brothers and sisters were not in this city.

Zhan Weiyang stood there holding the receipts in his hand and heard the buzzing sound in his head getting stronger and stronger. He felt scared, just like when he thought he was about to turn into a tree, and his whole body fell into an uncontrollable panic.

He suddenly wanted to find a place to hide.

Zhan Weiyang stared at a pot of green plants in the corner of the emergency room. He envied the plant because he only needed to stand quietly without thinking or doing anything. The white light above his head shone down, and Zhan Weiyang felt that he was actually a fortune tree at that moment. His head was empty and blank, and everything around him became farther and farther away.

At this moment, Zhan Weiyang heard something in his ear. It was not very real, but it was faintly hitting his eardrum.

He didn’t understand what the sentence meant, but he heard the name ‘Zhan Pengcheng’.

Who is Zhan Pengcheng? Zhan Weiyang felt a headache. He remembered that Zhan Pengcheng was his father, and then someone repeated the sentence, and the meaning gradually became clear. Zhan Weiyang heard the sentence, “Who is Zhan Pengcheng’s family member?”

The person who shouted was a nurse with a loud voice and an urgent tone.

Zhan Weiyang was like being suddenly pulled back to reality from a dream. Everything around him became noisy and vivid again, and those blurred figures began to become clear.

He recalled his father lying on the bed, vomiting blood. He was afraid that his father would die, so he called an ambulance and followed the ambulance to the hospital.

The nurse shouted again, “Who is Zhan Pengcheng’s family member?”

Zhan Weiyang raised his hand that was holding the document and hurriedly replied, “I am his son!” He couldn’t let his father die.

Pei Qing rushed to the hospital near noon when Zhan Pengcheng had already been admitted to the gastroenterology ward.

He only brought a simple travel bag and walked into the ward in a hurry. He was too worried about Zhan Weiyang. He still remembered Zhan Weiyang’s panicked cry and was afraid that Zhan Weiyang would not be able to deal with the current predicament.

In the end, when he walked into the ward’s door, he saw Zhan Weiyang sitting next to Zhan Pengcheng’s bed and eating.

Zhan Pengcheng had woken up. He was lying on his side, with one hand stretched out of the quilt and receiving an infusion. He was pale but kept his eyes open and looked at Zhan Weiyang.

Zhan Weiyang didn’t notice Pei Qing. He was holding a paper lunch box and disposable chopsticks. He took a bite of rice and stopped, saying to Zhan Pengcheng, “The doctor said you can’t eat.”

Zhan Pengcheng nodded and said weakly, “Dad will just watch you eat.”

Pei Qing noticed that Zhan Pengcheng’s eyes were red when he finished speaking.

Zhan Pengcheng then noticed Pei Qing and asked in surprise, “Why are you here?” He thought Zhan Weiguang would be the first to come back.

Zhan Weiyang turned his head back suddenly and shouted, “Qing ge.”

Pei Qing walked in, put her hand on Zhan Weiyang’s shoulder, patted his face, and said, “Eat the meal first, dear.”

Zhan Weiyang looked at him for a while, then sat down and continued to eat the greasy lunch box.

Pei Qing stood by the bed and talked to Zhan Pengcheng. Zhan Pengcheng was too weak and fell asleep not long after talking.

After finishing his meal, Zhan Weiyang took out his lunch box and threw it into the big trash can at the end of the corridor. When he returned to the room, he met the nurse who was changing the medicine for Zhan Pengcheng.

The new medicine was in a full bottle, and it would take a long time to finish the infusion.

The ward was a double ward, with a curtain in the middle, so they couldn’t see each other.

Zhan Weiyang walked to Pei Qing and suddenly remembered something and asked softly, “Have you eaten?”

Pei Qing didn’t have time to eat, but he still said, “I have eaten. You don’t have to worry about me.”

Zhan Weiyang nodded and looked at Zhan Pengcheng, who was soundly sleeping.

Pei Qing suddenly reached out and hugged him, saying, “Are you scared?”

Zhan Weiyang quickly raised his hand, hugged Pei Qing’s waist tightly, nodded, buried his face in his chest, and didn’t want to lift it up for a long time.

Pei Qing pressed his neck with one hand and said, “It’s okay, gege is back.”

       Zhan Weiyang said softly, “En.”

Chapter 52 – I was arrested.

Chapter 52 – I was arrested.

Rong Tang stared fixedly at Zhao Qi’s eyes. The blood at the corner of his mouth was shocking, making Zhao Qi’s heart ache with a dull, pervasive pain.

“Rong Tang, don’t be like this,” Zhao Qi said in a hoarse voice. “Please let the imperial physician examine you first.”

Cheng Boyan, having reviewed all the records from the Imperial Medical Academy and having a certain understanding of Rong Tang’s illness, advised, “Young Master Rong, your condition is most susceptible to anger and stress. You must calm down now; otherwise, the old illness might recur, with dire consequences.”

Calm down
 How could he calm down?

The person he loved was pregnant with another man’s child.

Anger, humiliation, and regret drowned him all at once; he felt like he was going insane.

Rong Tang seemed not to hear Cheng Boyan’s words. He continued to grip Zhao Qi with unrelenting force, his jade-like hand straining with bulging veins. He repeated the earlier question, “Whose is it?”

Zhao Qi opened his lips, but the words “He Changzhou” were swallowed back down. He turned his face away and said, “Don’t ask; this is my own matter, unrelated to others.”

Rong Tang’s expression twisted into a snarl. “‘Unrelated to others’—are you saying it’s unrelated to me?”

Worried about Rong Tang’s health, Zhao Qi had no time to engage in this line of questioning. He signaled to Jiang Dehai and Cheng Boyan, who, understanding his intentions, approached Rong Tang from behind, trying to pull him away.

However, before they could touch him, they heard Rong Tang coldly command, “Get away.”

The two men halted, unsure of what to do, and looked at Zhao Qi. “Your Majesty, what should we—”

Zhao Qi grabbed Rong Tang’s hand that was clutching his collar, his tone urgent and frustrated. “Didn’t you hear what the physician said?! Calm down, or I will order the guards to take you away!”

“Why won’t you say,” Rong Tang pressed, “who is that man? Why won’t you say it? Are you unwilling to say, or
” Suddenly, as if realizing something, Rong Tang’s expression froze, and his voice grew softer, “Or are you afraid to say?”

Even Zhao Qi, as foolish as he might be, was still an emperor. Who else in the world could make a ruler submit to them, other than him?

—“I have never regarded him as an emperor. So the things you dare not do, I can.”

Rong Tang’s strength drained away little by little. He released Zhao Qi, casually wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, and started to laugh.

His laughter was unbecoming and disheveled, his eyes reddened with tears.

But he still looked so handsome.

“If I had known this would happen, I shouldn’t have let you go that night
!” After saying this, Rong Tang seemed not to want to see Zhao Qi anymore and slowly closed his eyes.

“Rong Tang!”

“Young Master Rong!”

Jiang Dehai and Cheng Boyan quickly caught him. Cheng Boyan said, “Your Majesty, Young Master Rong has fainted!”

“Quickly, get him to bed!”

After examining Rong Tang’s pulse, Cheng Boyan’s expression grew serious. “Well
”

“Stop with the ‘well well well,’” Zhao Qi said anxiously. “What’s the situation?”

Cheng Boyan said, “Young Master Rong’s condition has worsened due to anger, affecting his heart pulse. The situation is not optimistic. I need to perform acupuncture. Your Majesty, please step outside.”

Though Zhao Qi wanted to stay by Rong Tang’s side, he had to follow medical advice. “Alright, you treat him well. I’ll wait outside.”

“Your Majesty,” Jiang Dehai said, holding the dragon boots, “Please put on your shoes first.”

Cheng Boyan performed acupuncture for an hour while Zhao Qi waited outside, deeply worried. He was already suffering from the torment of the dragon egg, and now had to worry about Rong Tang’s safety. With so many troubling issues converging, he felt as if his head was going to explode.

When it was time for dinner, the steward of the governor’s residence had prepared a menu and asked Jiang Dehai, “Master Jiang, these are famous dishes from Cangzhou. What do you think
?”

Just seeing the names of the dishes was impressive. Jiang Dehai shook his head and said, “The Emperor’s appetite has not been good lately. Have them make some porridge and prepare a few tangy and sweet appetizers instead.”

The steward was startled. “These are ordinary dishes; how can they be suitable for the Emperor?”

Jiang Dehai smiled, “No one knows the Emperor’s taste better than our household. Just prepare them as instructed.”

Soon, the governor’s residence staff delivered the porridge and appetizers. Jiang Dehai persuaded Zhao Qi to eat. Zhao Qi shook his head, indicating he had no appetite.

Jiang Dehai said, “Your Majesty has barely eaten all day. Even if you don’t consider yourself
”

Zhao Qi completed the sentence in unison with Jiang Dehai, “You still need to think about the baby in your belly.” It was a classic piece of advice for expectant mothers, even if it came late.

However, because of this child, his worldviews had been overturned, his life was in chaos, and he had lost the foundation of being a straight man. Now, Rong Tang had even vomited blood from anger. It wasn’t about having a baby; it was like facing tribulations.

“I won’t eat,” Zhao Qi said angrily. “Let him starve to death!”

“Who do you want to starve to death?” Xiao Shiqing walked in, looking at Zhao Qi with a face full of frustration. “Aren’t you in poor health? Why aren’t you resting in bed?”

Jiang Dehai explained, “Young Master Rong’s old illness has recurred, and His Majesty gave his bed to him.”

Xiao Shiqing raised an eyebrow with a meaningful look. “Again?”

Zhao Qi looked at Xiao Shiqing with a pitiful expression and complained, “Brother Prime Minister, the physician said Rong Tang’s condition is not optimistic. Do you think he will
”

Xiao Shiqing was silent for a moment, then patted Zhao Qi’s head. “He won’t.”

Zhao Qi looked up at him. “Really?”

“Yes.” Xiao Shiqing’s voice was gentle and low. “But have you eaten?”

Jiang Dehai hurriedly said, “Not yet. Prime Minister, please persuade the Emperor. His Majesty is feeling very unwell today and has barely eaten anything.”

Xiao Shiqing said, “Bring the dinner here.”

Seeing the table of “plain and simple food,” Xiao Shiqing’s eyes darkened. Jiang Dehai, fearing that he might get angry, proactively explained, “Your Majesty’s appetite is not good, so he can only eat light foods.”

Xiao Shiqing nodded. “Does His Majesty eat by himself, or should I feed him?”

Zhao Qi, distracted, replied, “I’ll eat by myself.”

Xiao Shiqing said, “Bring another set of chopsticks.”

Jiang Dehai asked, “Does the Prime Minister intend to dine with His Majesty?”

Xiao Shiqing sat down by the table. “Yes.”

“Brother
”

“Just eat your own.”

Xiao Shiqing accompanied Zhao Qi in eating porridge and talked about the situation in Cangzhou. “Cangzhou is blessed with outstanding people and a rich land. The people are well-fed and content, the streets are safe, and theft is rare.”

Zhao Qi took small sips of porridge. “That’s quite good.”

Xiao Shiqing, however, said, “Jiangxia is only a hundred miles from Cangzhou. The governor of Jiangxia has repeatedly reported that the disaster situation is urgent and the people are displaced. Yet, Cangzhou seems to be celebrating peacefully—do you think this is possible? What we see is all that the Cangzhou officials want us to see.”

When it came to state affairs, Zhao Qi had to focus. “But didn’t you say that Cangzhou’s terrain is slightly elevated and thus less affected by floods? The governor’s report also mentioned this.”

Xiao Shiqing’s voice turned cold. “Reports are perhaps one of the most unreliable things in the world.”

At this moment, Cheng Boyan finally came out, sweating and looking exhausted. “Your Majesty need not worry. Young Master Rong has escaped danger and will awaken soon.”

Zhao Qi was overjoyed. “I’ll go and see!”

Xiao Shiqing expressionlessly pulled him back. “Finish your porridge first.”

Xiao Shiqing suspected that the local officials in Cangzhou were deceiving the court and sent several people to investigate privately. Because of this, their stay in Cangzhou would be longer than initially planned.

Later, Zhao Qi met with the officials of Cangzhou, who all looked presentable and answered his questions fluently. They spoke authoritatively about their governance strategies. Zhao Qi gave them some face, verbally praising them and encouraging them to keep up the good work.

Rong Tang, who had been unconscious for two days, finally woke up. When Cheng Boyan reported this to Zhao Qi, Zhao Qi was staring at a mirror, looking worried.

Cheng Boyan said, “Your Majesty.”

“You’re just in time,” Zhao Qi said. “Please check if my belly has grown.”

Cheng Boyan observed for a while and smiled. “Generally, a pregnancy only shows after four months. Your Majesty is less than three months along and has actually lost some weight due to morning sickness. It’s impossible for your belly to be noticeably large.”

Zhao Qi felt slightly relieved but remained anxious. “Four months isn’t far off. At this rate, by the time I reach Dongzhou, the dragon egg might already be ready for use.”

“What does Your Majesty mean?”

Zhao Qi thought for a moment and asked Jiang Dehai, “Where is Zhao Qiao? I haven’t seen him for a few days.”

Jiang Dehai hesitated. “Young Master Zhao said
he wanted to help Your Majesty investigate the Cangzhou brothel and see if it differs from the capital
 so
”

Zhao Qi was angry. “Bring him back here at once. Have him pack his things and go to Dongzhou. And make sure the divine doctor is brought to me!”

“Yes, Your Majesty. I will take care of it right away.”

The route for the southern tour had already been decided. Finding the dragon boat was a simple task. It would be better for Zhao Qiao to leave earlier, as he would be faster than moving at a snail’s pace.

After the matter was settled, Zhao Qi asked, “How is Rong Tang?”

Cheng Boyan quickly said, “I almost forgot—Your Majesty, Young Master Rong has woken up.”

Zhao Qi sighed with relief. “I’ll go see him.”

At first, Zhao Qi walked briskly, but as he approached Rong Tang’s room, his steps slowed. As he was about to arrive, he simply stopped. “Minister
”

Cheng Boyan responded, “I am here.”

“Do you think it would be better if I didn’t see him?” Zhao Qi asked hesitantly. “He might have vomited blood due to anger at me. What if seeing me again triggers another attack of rage?”

“Your Majesty’s concern is valid. Shall we return then?”

Zhao Qi thought for a moment and decided, “Then I will sneak a look without him noticing.”

“Your Majesty is wise.”

At the door, Zhao Qi was surprised to find someone standing outside. The person had graying hair, a thin frame, and a face somewhat resembling Rong Tang’s.

“Who are you
”

The man, upon seeing Zhao Qi, knelt and greeted him calmly, “Commoner Rong Min pays his respects to Your Majesty.”

“You also have the surname Rong?” Zhao Qi asked. “Are you Rong Tang’s
”

“Replying to Your Majesty, I am Rong Tang’s father.”

Rong Min was originally a fourth-rank official in the capital. After his son was taken into the palace by the tyrannical emperor and forced into servitude, he was ridiculed by his peers. In anger, he resigned and returned to Cangzhou with his remaining family.

“Please rise quickly,” Zhao Qi said. “What brings you here?”

Rong Min replied, “My wife and I were sent by the Prime Minister to take care of our son.”

So it was Xiao Shiqing. “Has Rong Tang’s mother come as well?” Zhao Qi asked. “Where is she?”

“Replying to Your Majesty, she is inside the room talking with our son.”

Zhao Qi glanced at the slightly ajar door and heard the faint sound of a woman crying from within. “Then I won’t disturb your family reunion.”

Rong Min lowered his gaze. “Thank you, Your Majesty.”

Zhao Qi nodded and was about to leave when Rong Min stopped him. “Your Majesty, my son is ill and unfit to serve you further. I humbly request Your Majesty’s permission for him to return home and rest.”

Perhaps it was best for Rong Tang to be with his family. Zhao Qi did not hesitate much and said, “Does your residence have a reliable doctor?”

Rong Min replied, “Yes, Your Majesty need not worry.”

“Alright, you may take him home.”

With Rong Tang returning home, Zhao Qi relieved one worry but felt no satisfaction in his heart. They might never meet again, and their parting was so unpleasant.

On the other hand, the hidden turmoil in Cangzhou under the facade of peace was gradually coming to light through Xiao Shiqing’s investigation.

It turned out that the governor of Cangzhou, in a bid to gain favor and achieve merit, had relocated tens of thousands of the city’s inhabitants to the countryside. What Zhao Qi and Xiao Shiqing had seen as “common people” were actually soldiers disguised as civilians, and even the street vendors were prearranged by the governor. Furthermore, to make Cangzhou’s tax revenue appear impressive, the officials exploited the people in every possible way. The commoners, burdened by heavy taxes and natural disasters, were living in dire conditions.

When Zhao Qi learned of this, he angrily shouted that he wanted to behead the governor of Cangzhou. Xiao Shiqing said, “That’s not a good idea.”

Zhao Qi asked, “Why not?”

“Previously, when the governor reported the current state of Cangzhou, you not only praised him but also publicly commended him as a good and honest official during the court assembly.”

Zhao Qi fumed, “I was deceived by him!”

“However, now that those words have been spoken, if you arrest and punish him, it would mean admitting that you were deceived by a treacherous official. What would happen to the emperor’s authority then?”

“Can’t I correct my mistake?”

“You can, but you can’t avoid admitting your mistake.”

“Are we just going to let him go like this?!”

Xiao Shiqing replied calmly, “We should assassinate him.”

Zhao Qi was taken aback, “Now? We are still staying at someone’s home.”

“After we set off.”

While Xiao Shiqing was clearing the political scene, Zhao Qi received a letter from the Rong residence. Rong Tang wrote in the letter that he wanted to see Zhao Qi one more time before Zhao Qi left Cangzhou. Since Rong Tang was bedridden, he invited Zhao Qi to meet him at the Rong residence’s annex.

Jiang Dehai asked, “Your Majesty, do you want to go?”

“Yes,” Zhao Qi said, holding the letter. “This might be the last time.”

Some things needed to be clarified and settled cleanly.

Zhao Qi left a message for Xiao Shiqing and went to the address mentioned in the letter with Jiang Dehai and several guards. The annex of the Rong residence was located on the outskirts of Cangzhou, in a quiet and sparsely populated area, which was indeed suitable for recuperation.

A servant was waiting at the main gate and, upon seeing Zhao Qi, asked, “Are you Master Zhao?”

“Yes. Where is Rong Tang?”

The servant replied, “Young Master is inside. Please come in.”

Zhao Qi led his group into the courtyard and instructed, “You all wait here. Jiang Dehai, come with me.”

Jiang Dehai knocked on the door, “Young Master Rong, His Majesty has come to see you.”

As soon as the words were spoken, the door opened from the inside. Just as they stepped in and had not yet seen the interior, they suddenly heard the sound of the door being locked.

The two exchanged glances, and before they could react, a strange blue smoke slowly began to envelop them

When Zhao Qi woke up again, he found himself lying on a soft bed, completely powerless, and the surroundings were unfamiliar.

He was stunned for a while. Just as he was about to call for help, a familiar coldness covered his mouth.

“Your Majesty.”

Zhao Qi’s eyes widened in shock. That voice was
 Could it be this stimulating?!

Rong Tang, dressed in pure white, covered Zhao Qi’s mouth with his hand and leaned toward him with a jade-like face.

Seeing the shock in Zhao Qi’s eyes, Rong Tang smiled slightly, “You’re the one who turned me into this. Why are you still surprised?”

“Mm—”

Zhao Qi’s struggle seemed to excite Rong Tang even more. Rong Tang’s distinctly knuckled hand moved to Zhao Qi’s lower abdomen, “Here, carrying another man’s child
”

Zhao Qi: !!!

“It’s alright. I don’t mind,” Rong Tang said with a smile, gently undoing Zhao Qi’s belt.

Chapter 28

“When did I say I was looking for a dom?” He said with a slightly red face, “I’m just here out of curiosity.”

“You are not a natural sub. You don’t like masochism psychologically. You have a strong sense of rejection of slave status. That’s why you would rather jump off the building than call me ‘Master’. Because of my coercion, BDSM should be something you abhor, but here you are.” When he said this, the man paused for a while; the light in his eyes was dark and deep, “Under what circumstances would a person take the initiative to have contact with something that he doesn’t like? The reason is never ‘curiosity’ but ‘necessity’. For some compelling reason, the degree of this need exceeds your rejection. In other words, your physical needs are more significant than your intellectual conflicts, right?”

Chu Yunhan’s eyes trembled, and he refused to admit it, “That’s right, I just came here to take a look when I was bored.”

“East Coast operates on a strict membership basis, and entry is only possible through an existing member’s endorsement, with that sponsor bearing responsibility for their referral. ‘Just here to look’ wouldn’t be enough to secure an invitation or membership approval. Plus, they only accept members with actual BDSM experience. If you didn’t have a real drive, you wouldn’t have exposed that painful part of your past on the application. It takes more than curiosity to lay yourself bare like that.” The man dissected every inconsistency, his calm analysis peeling back each layer of pretence.

Chu Yunhan’s expression was stern. His forehead twitched, his lip lines tightened, and he said nothing.

“The same goes for that information disclosure form. Not only did you carefully select the parts you didn’t want to do, but you also carefully filled in a few notes about the degree. If you just ‘fill in casually’ as you said, there would have been no need to go this far at all, and you’ve done it at
”

“That’s enough!” Chu Yunhan, who was exposed entirely, roared angrily, “You’re right! I just came here to find someone to torture myself, and you tortured me until I became addicted to such disgusting things! I admit it. Are you satisfied now?” After saying that, he sat down on the black single sofa depressedly, holding his forehead with his hand in frustration. In front of that person, he was like a snail whose shell had been peeled off, losing all disguise, leaving only a weak and powerless body.

A white porcelain cup was handed over, and Chu Yichen’s voice was gentle, “Drink, it’s not hot anymore.”

Chu Yunhan hesitated for a moment, took the cup, took a sip, and said in a low voice, “Are you going to convince me to accept you as my dom next?”

       “Yes.”

He held the cup, lowered his eyelids, and murmured, “I won’t accept you, no matter what
it can’t be you.”

Chu Yichen was silent for a while and said, “So, if Pure Black is a stranger, will you accept him?”

       “
Maybe, I don’t know.”

“What if I want to be a stranger?”

He was confused, “What do you mean?”

“You and I will put aside all identities in this room and be Pure Black and Daylight. We will stand on an equal footing and enter into a relationship for the sake of desire like strangers.” The man looked at him and said slowly, “I understand your concerns. I have always unilaterally forced you to bear it—against your original wishes. Those bad feelings made you unable to accept me. But it is different now. You are no longer Chu Yunhan, just a sub. I am no longer Chu Yichen, just a dom. There is no longer any other emotional involvement between us. I will clearly set the boundaries with you before the game starts. I will fulfil all your requirements on the form, avoid all tools and actions you don’t like, and agree on a safe word. When you refuse, I will stop. You can treat me as a stranger. Here, the only connection between us is mutual desire, nothing more. I can wear a mask during the process if you want.”

       “You
” Although these words were said calmly, they were like a stormy sea, washing away the words Chu Yunhan was prepared to refuse. For a moment, he didn’t know what to say.

“This club gathers almost every enthusiast in K City, but in terms of skill, you’d be hard-pressed to find a dom better suited to you than me. I know every inch of your body, every one of your responses. I understand your likes, dislikes, and exactly how to fulfill your needs. I’m also likely the only Dom here willing to fully respect all your conditions. Additionally, even though you’ve read the club’s confidentiality policy and know that members’ identities are kept strictly private, you’ve still opted for a mask—not wanting to be recognised. From that perspective, it’s safer to engage with someone who already knows your identity rather than a stranger. Therefore, I am your best choice.”

Chu Yichen’s expression was gentle and serious, and the bright red blood line on his slender neck looked dazzling—exuding a dangerous and alluring aura. Chu Yunhan stared at him blankly for a moment, then turned away awkwardly. He looked down at the cup in his hand without saying a word.

He smiled bitterly in his mind. Now, he knew the man’s negotiation methods. Every word he said was like a sharp arrow, accurately hitting his weaknesses one after another, shaking his original decision.

If the previous relationship had become too complicated and rigid, then adopt a brand-new approach.

If what he resisted was him as a person, then assume a different identity.

If he lacked a sense of security, then establish rules to create boundaries.

If there were methods he detested, then simply avoid them altogether.

Chu Yichen put him on the scale, constantly adding weight, and his attitude was even conniving, which completely made Chu Yunhan lose any reason to refuse. For a moment, he even felt that he had been convinced.

No, it can’t be like this

       Only this person can’t

Chu Yunhan’s head was in a mess as if he was trapped in a besieged city and couldn’t find a way out. He muttered, “Chu Yichen, you and I
we are
”

“There is no blood relationship between us. Now that things have come to this, we will never be brothers again.” The man interrupted him, his deep voice seeming to have a kind of intoxicating bewitchment. “Let go of all past constraints and burdens, and stand in a new position to form a fresh bond. For both of us, this is the best choice. I can give you what you desire; as long as you agree, I can fulfil every longing you have.”

       “I don’t want to
” He only felt that his throat was a little dry.

“You don’t have to rush to reject me, and you don’t have to rush to make a decision.” Chu Yichen’s eyes were full of soft light like a black hole sucking people’s vision tightly, making them unable to move away. “I know why you’re here. Let’s give it a try, okay?”

When Chu Yunhan heard this sentence, his already chaotic psychological defence was even more shaky. He stood up suddenly, lowered his eyelids and hurriedly said, “I should go
” and walked out. His steps were hurried as if running away. He was afraid that if he stayed any longer, the opponent would easily defeat the defensive line he had worked so hard to hold.

Just as he was about to reach the door, his wrist was suddenly grabbed. Before he could react, he was pulled and turned around. Then warm breath came to him, pressing him directly against the door.

       “You
” Before he could finish his words, his mouth was sealed. The man’s lips pressed against his lips and rubbed slowly, his tongue gently inserted into the slightly open mouth. However, the man was not in a hurry to attack and conquer but gently rolled it on the tip of his tongue as if waiting for his response.

The refreshing and light fragrance was a smell he was familiar with, and this kind of kiss was something he had not experienced for a long time. Chu Yunhan fell into a trance. His brain lost its function, leaving the body to react instinctively, according to his memory.

Lips and tongues intertwined, and he lost control bit by bit between advances and retreats. Unknowingly, he began to lift his face following the other person’s movements, allowing the invasion to become deeper and deeper. His heartbeat was speeding up, his breath was being deprived, and his breathing was becoming rapid. The body trapped between the tall body and the door softened.

His desire grew, and everything was about to get out of control.

       “Hmmn
” The remaining sanity finally broke free from the chaos when he felt the belt being untied. He struggled and pressed hard against Chu Yichen. His voice was still breathing, and he begged, “It can’t be like this. We can’t do this
Please, Chu Yichen, please let me go
”

A hand stroked his cheek and said, “Close your eyes.”

       “Chu Yichen
”

“Good boy, close your eyes.” The man’s voice was low and gentle, like a hypnosis. “You can treat me as a stranger or a prop. There is no relationship between us, and you don’t need to have any burden.” Chu Yichen lowered his head and whispered in his ear, and the warm breath aroused tiny shivers on his skin, “You long for pure sex, don’t you? I can give it to you to relieve your desire. Give me a chance, will you?”

Chu Yunhan’s sensitive zone was next to his ear. Such whispers made half of his body numb. Something seemed to be stirring inside his body, and the hand against the man’s chest gradually lost its strength. His face turned red, and he shook his head, “I don’t want you
”

Their bodies were so close to each other that they could easily sense each other’s changes. The corners of Chu Yichen’s lips were slightly raised, and he held Chu Yunhan’s earlobe from the side of his face. The tip of his tongue slowly licked the skin behind the ear along the contour, leaving moist water stains. The body that had not been satisfied for a long time became extremely sensitive and showed abnormal excitement under the caress of that hand. The genitals between his legs were erect, eager for more caresses.

Chu Yunhan closed his eyes in shame.
