When he woke up, Xu Ye felt as if he had died once.

“Are you awake?” “How do you feel? Are you uncomfortable anywhere?” Xu Ting and Zhou Jia were both present, asking questions one after the other.

It took Xu Ye a while to realize that he was in the hospital. The transparent liquid entered the body from the back of the hand, and his whole hand was cold. He moved his lips, but only a muffled sound came out, and his throat rasped with a tingling sensation. It should be the reaction left by gastric lavage.

At any rate, his life was saved. Xu Ye smiled wryly, and asked hoarsely, “What time is it?”

“It’s past three o’clock.” Zhou Jia reached out and brushed the hair on his forehead, and said, “Finally woke up, you scared me to death.”

It was already three o’clock in the morning, and he had been unconscious for so long. His head was heavy and his limbs were weak. The large gaps in his memory made it difficult for him to piece together what happened afterwards. He turned to Xu Ting slightly, and called out, “Dad.”

“Get some sleep, and we’ll talk again when you’re better.” Xu Ting pulled the blanket for him. Xu Ye was really out of energy, so he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

When he woke up again, the sky was already bright, and the sunlight was blocked by the white window screen, softening it considerably. There was a fresh breeze that blew in, washing away the smell of antiseptic solution.

When he saw the person sitting next to him, Xu Ye’s head short-circuited for a few seconds.

The Third Young Master Chu sat idly on a chair fiddling with his mobile phone. When he saw that Xu Ye was awake, his eyes paused for a moment, and he pursed his lips and said, “Yo, you’re awake.”

The memory of last night came flooding back to him and Xu Ye stiffened. He glanced at the emergency button on the wall.

“Don’t be nervous, I’m not going to do anything to you.” Chu Xuan raised the backrest of the hospital bed, allowing Xu Ye to shift from lying flat to a sitting posture. Then he got up and poured a glass of water into his mouth, squinting his eyes and said softly, “Come, open your mouth.”

His action which was like coaxing a child made Xu Ye’s hair stand on end. He looked at the other party tensely and remained motionless.

This stalemate lasted for a while, Xu Ye reached out and grabbed the cup.

“Tsk, do you only listen to him?” Chu Xuan muttered to himself, then let go of his hand and let Xu Ye take the cup.

Xu Ye didn’t know what he meant, but he knew that even if the cup was filled with poison, and Chu Xuan wanted him to drink it, he would have to drink it. Besides, he felt really uncomfortable with a dry mouth and a dry tongue, so he simply drank the cup dry.

       “Another one?”

“No need for the trouble.” Xu Ye put the cup aside.

Chu Xuan looked at him with a smile, “Don’t mention it, I can let you trouble me all day today.”

Xu Ye was startled, but he couldn’t tell anything from that face. He had no choice but to guess what Chu Xuan meant in his heart.

When Chu Xuan saw his expression, he thought about what he had said just now and said leisurely, “It’s not that I want to trouble you, but I want you to trouble me. Today you can use me as a servant and do as you please..” After he said, he took a bright red apple from the cabinet, peeled it lightly, and put it in his hand after peeling, “Eat it.”

Xu Ye was under great pressure, looked at him at a loss and asked, “What is the Third Young Master trying to play?”

Chu Xuan wiped his hands with a paper towel, and said with an innocent face, “I’m very serious about really compensating for my sins.”

He got someone into the hospital, and then pop up out of nowhere to make amends. What kind of logic is that? Xu Ye didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, “There’s no need to make an apology, I don’t deserve it. I could only ask that the Third Young Master will be kind to me for what happened yesterday…..”

“Of course, you don’t deserve it.” Chu Xuan looked at him with a half-smile, with a hint of mockery in his voice, “Don’t get me wrong, the person I want to make amends with is not you.” The smile on the corner of his lips deepened as he saw Xu Ye’s astonishment, “When you accidentally break someone’s toy, you should always express your apology sincerely. At least you need to spend some effort into fixing it, don’t you also think so?” The rising tone of his voice carried a bit of ambiguity and dissipated into the air.

Xu Ye curled up his cold fingers, looked directly at him and said, “I don’t understand what you mean.”

“You don’t need to understand.” Chu Xuan folded his arms and leaned on the back of the chair, “All you need to do is lie down obediently and take care of your body, and I’ll be done, Mr. Toy.”

Xu Ye felt humiliated by such a blatant statement, but the meaning of those words was very clear. As he gritted his teeth and asked the question, “To whom you are reporting?”, the door to the hospital room opened.

Chu Xuan turned around and took a look, stood up immediately, and called out, “Second brother.”

A light grey suit with a black collar, a white shirt, and slender legs make the dull suit pants look great. Xu Ye’s gaze rested on the man’s face, and he couldn’t move away from it.

The colour of the eyes, the line of the lips, and the curvature of the jaw were all so familiar. It was the first time that the person who covered himself with a mask appeared in front of him completely.

He looked handsome, magnificent and outstanding.

Xu Ye’s heart seemed to stop beating suddenly, he even forgot to breathe and just stared at him blankly. It was not until he walked up to the hospital bed and reached out to touch the side of his face, Xu Ye tilted his head and avoided his hand.

The man swept a glance at Chu Xuan who was standing beside him, and said, “Get out.”

“Oh.” Chu Xuan, who was always difficult to deal with, actually didn’t say a word more than that and silently withdrew, closing the door behind him.

“Feeling better?” There was a gentleness in his calm voice that belonged to him alone.

Xu Ye sat motionlessly and did not respond.

“Chu Xuan sometimes goes too far in things. I have already taught him a lesson. If you feel uneasy, you can use him as a servant at will these two days.”

“You are the second young master of the Chu family.” His face was already pale, and now it was even paler, and he looked very weak.

       “I’m Chu Yu.”

“You didn’t want to take off your mask because you didn’t want me to know who you were?”

“Now you know.” Chu Yu looked at him, “What’s the difference?”

Xu Ye’s eyes flickered as if there were countless voices buzzing in his head, which made him feel so confused and unable to calm down. After a long time, he finally made up his mind and uttered a sentence, “Can we end our relationship?”

Chu Yu looked at him with eyes as black as ink, and asked, “Why?”

“You said that this kind of thing needs to be consent from both sides… But now, I don’t want to continue.” Despite his efforts to remain calm, his voice still trembled slightly.

If the person behind the mask was just an ordinary man, Xu Ye would be willing to maintain such a master-slave relationship, but now this person was Chu Yu—the second young master of the Chu family who calls the wind and rain, and they were not two individuals who could get along as equals at all. In other words, as long as Chu Yu was willing, he could even make Xu Ye a slave in the true sense of the word, at any time and in any place. Such existence itself was a huge pressure, which scared Xu Ye.

Chu Xuan said that he was just a toy. Perhaps Chu Yu has had many such toys, and he was only the most ordinary of them all. He couldn’t guess Chu Yu’s mind, nor could he predict the future, everything was beyond his expectations. He wanted to obtain physical relaxation and pleasure through the master-slave relationship, but he didn’t want to get involved with the regional mafia boss in K city for this.

So he had to escape. From the shadow of the Chu family. From this man’s side.

The man was silent, his eyes became very cold.

The feeling of oppression made Xu Ye’s hand holding the bed sheet tremble slightly, and just when he felt that he was about to be crushed, he heard the other party’s response.

       “As you wish.”

Xu Ye was discharged from the hospital in the afternoon, at his insistence. That hospital was owned by Golden Eagle, and he didn’t want to stay there any longer.

Xu Ting told him about the situation at that time. It was Chu Yu who sent him to the hospital. When Xu Ting and the others arrived, Xu Ye had already been sent for gastric lavage. The rescue was done in a timely manner, so there were no more serious consequences. As for why Chu Yu suddenly appeared here, it was unknown. In the hospital, he forced his younger brother to apologise and then gave the painting of ‘Water Lilies’ to Xu Ting. Who would dare not accept a gift from the Chu family? Xu Ting had to take it and hang it in his home.

This matter really got a little bigger so Xu Ting gave him a week off and asked him in a roundabout way if he wanted to see a psychologist. Xu Ye was so annoyed that he went back to his apartment and slept with his head covered.

At first Xu Ye was worried that Chu Yu would cause trouble because of his refusal, but after doing nothing at home for three days and found that everything was quiet. On the evening of the fourth day, he received a call from Liu Jing asking him to go to the bar. He was bored, and his health was almost recovered, so he happily went to meet up.

The bar that Liu Jing likes to go to was called ‘From Dawn to Dusk’, and there was a group of good-looking MB (money boys)1A rentboy; a (usually young) male who earns money by offering sexual services. in it. When Xu Ye went there, Liu Jing was holding one of them and joking, when Liu Jing saw him coming, he patted the ass of the person in his arms and said, “Go and sit by the side, I’m going to chat with Young Master Xu for a while.”

Xu Ye sat down, and a handsome MB came over to pour him wine, but Liu Jing stopped him, “Don’t let him drink, go get a glass of milk.”

Xu Ye frowned and said, “Are you making fun of me?”

“Haha.” Liu Jing laughed loudly, “Your heroic deeds have spread throughout the circle, fighting bravely against Chu the third rather than surrendering to death.”

“Who the hell told this?” He was very angry, “If it gets to Chu Xuan’s ears, how am I going to keep on living?”

“Don’t be nervous, it’s just a joke.” Liu Jing patted him on the shoulder, “But I’m really curious that he let you off the hook like that. Whoever has bumped into him in the past hasn’t been beaten to death? You got out of there with a gastric lavage and no consequences.”

“I don’t know. Who can guess what people like them are thinking.” Xu Ye said that, but he thought of that man again. This matter must have been suppressed by Chu Yu, who was actually quite nice to himself.

The MB got a glass of milk from somewhere, and Liu Jing pushed him in front of him and asked, “Last time you said you found a good dom, how is it going?”
