Chapter 5

“I don’t care! Get rid of him quickly. This thing needs to be thrown into hazardous waste! He even trespassed into my house and injured me!”

Facing Tang Xiyan’s escalating anger and his yelling, Qiu Fei adjusted his glasses, feeling his blood pressure rising. “First of all, this is your personal assistant, so there’s nothing improper about him being here.”

“But he doesn’t even know the passcode to my house!”

Qu Di, who had been quietly standing to the side, weakly said, “Mr. Tang… Mr. Tang gave it to me…”

“…” Tang Xiyan suddenly fell silent, realizing that it was his big brother, someone he couldn’t mess with.

“Did you hear that? And… regarding maliciously injuring someone, it seems that Mr. Qu here got hurt worse than you.”

Qu Di instinctively touched his neck. His fair skin bore a clear mark where he had been choked, showing that Tang Xiyan had shown no mercy.

Tang Xiyan was not happy. “He’s not more hurt than me! I…”

“Really?” Qiu Fei examined his artist from head to toe and couldn’t see where he had been injured. Since this guy often told lies to him, he directly refuted his statement. “Where are you hurt? You seem quite spirited with your constant chatter.”

“I… I…” Tang Xiyan couldn’t say it. It was too embarrassing for an Alpha to admit that he had been injured in that area.

Qu Di glanced at Tang Xiyan’s frustrated expression and felt sorry for him. He wanted to help explain, “Actually…”

Before he could finish, Tang Xiyan glared at him and threatened, “There’s nothing wrong with me. I’m perfectly fine!”

Qiu Fei looked satisfied. “If you can’t say it, then I’ll assume you’re fine. If you’re not satisfied, I can take you to the hospital for a check-up.”

Tang Xiyan grumbled, “No need!”

Going to the hospital would mean announcing to the world how he got injured, which was something he couldn’t bear. He had millions of fans waiting for him.

“Finally,” Qiu Fei paused, looked around the room, and saw that it was cleaner. He glanced at Qu Di and asked, “Did you clean up?”

Qu Di nodded. “I just tidied up the table a bit. It was a bit… messy.”

“I call it organized chaos! You wouldn’t understand.”

Qiu Fei chose to ignore Tang Xiyan’s words. He was very satisfied and nodded. Tang Xiyan didn’t like tidying up, and he didn’t want to hire a housekeeper because, as a public figure, he couldn’t allow a stranger into his home. So, the cleanliness of the house had always been Qiu Fei’s responsibility.

He skipped over Tang Xiyan and walked up to Qu Di, extending his right hand. “Hello, I’m Qiu Fei, Tang Xiyan’s manager. It’s a pleasure to work with you in the future.”

Tang Xiyan wasn’t happy, but his big brother had sent him, and he couldn’t do anything about it.

He looked at the two of them chatting happily, feeling resentful. But he didn’t protest further. After all, he would have plenty of chances to make mistakes, and then he could kick this guy out.

“Later, I’ll send you the details of his recent work. I might be busy in the near future and won’t be able to stay with him all the time.” Qiu Fei glanced at Tang Xiyan, who was still grumbling. His lips couldn’t help but curl up. It was great. From today on, he wouldn’t have to worry about this guy causing trouble in his absence.

Tang Xiyan had already met with Qu Di and introduced him as his life assistant, writing him in as Tang Zong’s eyeliner, which would keep this guy, who was always causing trouble, in check.

Qiu Fei was laughing in his heart, but he maintained a professional appearance. He looked at Qu Di, who had been helping Tang Xiyan, and asked, “Did you do the cleaning?”

Qu Di nodded. “I tidied up the table a bit. It was a bit… messy.”

“I call it organized chaos.

“I’ll look at it carefully. Mr. Qiu, don’t worry,” Qu Di said, showing his willingness to cooperate.
